Pacing back and forth as he digested what Larisa just told him, Will frowned, "The treasure has been around for centuries! How could have anyone missed that!" he snapped. Seriously, they should have seen how much mileage was on that particular soul even if they didn't take notice of the power. Then there was Femi, he knew who she was. She was famous because of what she did.

Taking an angel's elixir made her very famous but how did her other lives slip through the cracks.

"This makes no sense, how could she not be remember! Femi is in our history books, when you get doctored into becoming a shinigami they tell you all about the various things humans do to step away from what qualifies as normal. You learn everything about souls. What happens when you feed one to a foul demon, what happens when a soul has been tampered with, what happens when an angel purifies one, and even how a human can damages their own soul. Femi was studied because of what she did!" cried Ronald showing the bewildered Will felt.

"Doctored? I thought you were born a shinigami!" said Larisa looking unbothered.

Frowning, Ronald looked at her surprised, "Born…no one is born a shinigami…you sort of get saddled with this job when you…well kill yourself. Who told you born?" he asked her.

Looking at him surprised, Larisa pointed to him, "You actually…so this is what happens when you commit suicide…your forced to take care of departed? Do you guys ever get peace?" she asked.

Crossing his arms, Will frowned, "We are paying for the sin we committed and once it's done we get to go in peace," he told her.

Nodding, Larisa turned her gaze to Ronald who gazed at her uncomfortable, "Why would you lie to me? Is it against the rules to tell people that?" she asked him curious. Or could it be he was embarrassed about taking his own life but she didn't think it was something to be ashamed of. It may be consider a sin but she understood that people were driven to that. When things look bleak humans can do horrible things from self-mutilation to murder, be it themselves or others.

Shrugging he frowned, "Who knows," he said.

Getting the feeling he didn't want to talk she turned to Will who still seemed lost in thought, "Femi told me back when she was born and for a long time afterward Shinigami's weren't as organize. Also that demon attacks were more common. Coupled that with the fact that most of my past lives didn't make it to seventeen because a demon came upon us and thought they found a delicious human no one ever really caught on," she told him.

Nodding he sighed, "Makes sense, Shinigami's used to be humans so we follow humans. When humans were chaotic we were chaotic. We didn't get organize till humans started to get organize. We are two halves of a coin, it also goes the same for demons. The reason there were more attack back then was because they were all young and stupid. It was a while before they got restraint and choosy with their food. By the time that came older and wiser demons started to control the others and began to create some semblance of order," Will said reaching up to rub the growing headache.

"Still for this to go by unknown…wait how is it we don't know in the future. You told me once that we know each other but if you just learned this means I never told you. Did I look like I was holding anything back or something?" he asked her.

Shaking her head, Larisa frowned, "No, neither of you seemed to know about it…Undertaker didn't even know about Femi. It's probably because when I finally go back memories of me will disappear, but don't worry I'll tell you in the future I promise you," she told Will and Ronald.

"A promise from you is rather meaningless when you allied yourself with such filth," said Will glaring at the triplets.

Sighing, Larisa turned to Ronald, "I promise I'll tell you," she told him.

Laughing he nodded, "Don't worry I believe you…still Femi was the first treasure, it makes sense I mean she had this power over the demons. No one could understand what made them listen to her but now that I know the truth is seems stupid we didn't see this. So the treasures power comes from the angels…I guess when you take in the elixir as a human it mixes wrong. I wonder why your soul became a power drink to demons. I mean angels are generally poisonous to them…huh, I bet our lab boys are going to a field day in the future!" said Ronald amused.

Using his scythe to push up his glasses, Will scowled, "Come Ronald Knox, we have to get back to our jobs. Larisa, please keep these three under control I don't want to have to come here because I hear about souls disappearing," he said sternly before walking out.

Watching him leave Larisa sighed, "For such a handsome man he sure is stuffy, he should seriously learn to loosen up!" she said amused.

"Sometimes not even death can take the stick out of your butt," said Ronald.

Peering over to the duel hair boy Larisa stood up and walked over to him, "Be careful Ronald and I guess unless something happens I'll see you in the future," she told him amused.

Smiling, he turned to her and bowed at the waist, "I look forward to our time together my dear! I have to say out of all the treasures I've met you're the prettiest!" he said grabbing her hand and kissing the back of it before winking at her.

Chuckling, Larisa tilted her head, "I'm the only treasure you've known!" she told him amused.

"Well it doesn't stop it from being true!" he told her before waving good bye, running after Will.

Hearing the triplets whispering she sighed, "I don't even want to know what you're whispering about do I?" she asked knowingly. Getting no answer she took that as a yes, stretching her muscles she peered back at the three, "I would like to try walking again, will one of you come with me please?" she questioned hopeful. She knew they would come but she felt it was only polite to ask.

Stepping up, Timber held out his arm for her to grab and before she could even get out with him the other two went to work making loud noise behind them. Frowning as they stepped outside, Larisa peered over to Timber, "What are they up too?" she asked him.

"We're just making it a little more livable for you…we'll only fix up the roof though. It has to look like it's still uninhabited otherwise it wouldn't be a good hideout. We're just going to fix it up enough to keep out the elements," he told her.

Nodding Larisa pulled away from him and walked away from a little, stumbling only once. Gazing out at the surrounding lands, she could see in the far distant what looked like London but other than that they seemed to be all alone. Surrounded by nothing but fields of wild grass, "Does anyone live out here or work out here?" she asked him thinking about the locals. They should probably keep an eye out for them as well, they wouldn't want rumors running around.

"Children and drunkards run around here but we have a plan for that," he said.

Turning to him to ask what that plan was Larisa stopped when she found a white dress that was just her type, it was flowing and loose with sheer petal like sleeves and a bow with long fluttering ribbons. However the dress was not alone in his hands, he also held up a pair of child fairy wing. They were large and white sprinkled with glitter, "…I don't want to know your plan do I?" she asked him drily.

Watching her reaction blankly, he jostled the dress and wings, "If you dress up as something and the kids and drunks see you they will spread rumors about a creature…rather than you. So it's either pretend to be a fairy living in the remains of this building or be a human cat," he said.

"…A human cat?" asked Larisa.

Giving her a slight shrug, Timber gaze back to the church, "It's better than Canterbury's idea…he thought we should dress you up witch. Which by the way is not a good idea, witch burning for the most part is outlaw but there are a still a couple of fanatics who thinks fire solves everything…so, your choices are fairy, human cat, or a witch who will no doubt get burned to death," he said.

Sighing, Larisa pointed to the fairy outfit. At least she could wear a dress she actually liked…still she was liking the past less and less. First she was an evil queen and now she was a fairy, well at least being a fairy was sure to be more enjoyable than a queen.

Rumors had been flying around. Rumors of a fairy living in the old church house no one liked to go too, John had always been interested in those kinds of things. When he heard about some kid finding a Leprechaun he staked out the field that it was spotted in. Then when a buddy of his claimed to have seen a real pixie he helped him try to track it down. In his own house always left out small pieces of candy his mother gave him for the Brownie hoping one day his brownie would show itself.

So far his investigation and his good will didn't deliver the results he wanted but this time was different, he could feel it deep down. This time he would finally get all the proof he need that there was a secret world of wonderful creatures! That life wasn't boring. Sitting outside the church, John waited for her to make an appearance his friends flanking him.

Peering back he found Greg on his back boredly looking up at the sky while Robert tossed a rock back and forth between his hands. Sighing behind him Allen glared, "When is this so-called fairy coming out! Don't tell me this is another one of your hair-brain schemes!" he barked.

Turning to face the taller boy, John glared, "There is a fairy! Plenty of people have spotted her!" he snapped in a hushed voice.

"If you ask me, I think only a bunch of wineo's have seen this so called fairy. Only kids and drunkards come out this far!" snapped Allen.

"There is a fairy in there! I know there is!" hissed John.

Sighing Greg watched John and Allen glare at each other looking ready to launch into a fist fight, "Why don't we just go into the church. I mean the worst that will happen is no one's there or we see an actual fairy, if there is one we'll probably scare it off but at least we can get back to actually playing something fun," he said getting up and heading off to the church.

Running after Robert laughed and tossed up his rock, "If she tries to steal our souls I throw this rock at her and stop her in her tracks!" he said gleefully.

Jumping up, John scrambled after them, "Wait! You can't do that! What if you scare her or something! And don't you dare throw a rock at her Robert," he cried.

Rolling his eyes, Allen followed after his scowl still present because there was no way a fairy existed running after them he caught up. All four of them quieted down and hunkered down when they got close to the entrance. The doors were still off their hinges but something was different. Peering inside Allen frowned, "It looks like someone picked the weeds?" he muttered.

"Maybe some orphans live here, I heard some try to get out of London at night because someone is picking up kids off the streets…don't know why," muttered Greg.

"I doubt that, this play has always been empty. Not even wineo's stay here to sleep it off…everyone says this place is haunted. Or cursed, weird people and things come around this place every now and then…so there's no way someone would stay here willingly," said Robert.

Nodding in agreement, Allen scowled, "My granddad told me that like a million years ago that a cult was holed up in here. They sacrificed virgins and babies in here, they also worshiped the devil or something. People don't like staying here because they're afraid the spirits will come back and haunt them. Which is stupid because ghost don't exist!" he said annoyed.

"Ghost so do exits!" snapped John.

Rolling his eyes Allen glared, "You'll believe in anything but the truth!" he snapped.

Opening his mouth to argue, John clamped it shut when a loud yawn was heard inside. Feeling his eyes widen and a smile touch him he ran inside and hid behind one of the benches. It was only seconds later that he was joined by everyone including Allen. "Come on," whispered Robert laying on the floor before crawling closer.

Following after him and the others got about to the middle before peering over and when they did John wanted to jump for joy when he finally caught sight of the fairy. She was pretty! Long raven hair that was currently a mess, violet eyes, pale skin, and she wore a dress that looked like it was made of silk.

The most important things though was the large butterfly like iridescent wings that looked lighter than air, how she could fly on them was a mystery but she was a fairy! An actual fairy! "Holy crap…fairies are real," said Robert stunned.

"I told you!" said John victoriously.

Scowling, Allen glared at the fairy, "She looks like an oriental!" he grumbled, "She's probably one of those prostitutes from that opium den! I bet those wings are fake" he snapped.

Shaking his head, Greg frowned, "The opium prostitutes are Chinese…if I had to guess I would say she's Japanese…but not fully maybe her ma or pa is from here," he said.

"How can you tell?" asked Robert curious.

Smiling as they watched the fairy brush her hair, Greg peered over to them, "Pops, works with a lot of Oriental's down on the docks. He told me how to tell the difference, it's hard to explain but once you get it you can tell the difference and I bet you the candy in my pocket she's Japanese," he said.

"Still an oriental!" hissed Allen.

"Fairies can be oriental!" snapped John.

"Never heard of an oriental fairy," argued Allen.

"The things you never heard of could fill a book!" growled John.

Hearing new footsteps the boys turned back to see a medium sized man with plum purple, he was dressed like a house steward. Turning to face the man, the fairy smiled, "Ah Cantebury, what's up you done playing with Timber and Thompson," she asked amused.

"I won the game so I get to feed today," he said bowing his head.

Nodding at him, the fairy pulled back her hair from her face tying it in place. Pushing up her billowing sleeves she smiled, "So how would like to feed?" she asked him.

Looking at each other, all four boys leaned in feeling curiosity. How exactly how this fairy would fed this normal guy, was she going to use magic and grow a tree of fruit? Would she snap her fingers and create a banquet of delicious delights! Or would she give him food only consumed by fairies?! Before anything more could be thought of all four boys were confused when the man grabbed her arm.

"If you don't mind I would like to take it out of your arm instead of a transfer. It's more fulfilling this way than the usual way," he said waiting for the okay.

Sighing the fairy frowned as she gazed at her arm, "Alright, it should be fine since I've recovered for the most part but not too much. At the most two to three mouthfuls okay. Also please make it quick and don't dig to deep. It's bad enough Sebastian has left some permanent reminders of his feedings," she said giving her legs a glare.

Looking over at each other, the boys frowned in confusion then all felt fear when the man opened his mouth and showed pearly fangs that quickly became imbedded in the fairy's arms. She didn't scream and she barely even flinched, if John had to put a feeling to her face he would say she actually seemed to like it a little bit! Fairies were not pain junkies!

Then the second most horrifying thing happened to the foursome, opening his eyes while he fed the man's eyes turned glowing red and looked right at them. That was it for Robert, jumping up he screamed at the top of his lungs and booked it out of the room with a pale face Greg stumbling after. He and Allen couldn't move though, paralyzed by fear.

Looking over surprised the fairy caught their eyes. At once she yanked her arm from the man's mouth and hugged it close blood seeping out and stained her dress. "Kids!" she said. She started toward them when Allen grabbed his hand and yanked him up, "Come on she's a demon," he cried pulling him out of the church, stumbling out after him John looked back.

When he did he found two men who looked like the one inside standing outside the doors looking at him with glowing red eyes and then there was the fairy watching them flee. She didn't look angry or furious, just surprised…she didn't look evil…maybe there was more to the story. Turning away, he kept on running with Allen not stopping till they were far, far away.

Four children, all four young boys probably no older than ten or eleven. One had curly brunette hair with dark brown eyes, he was darker than his friends no doubt because he ran around outside a lot. Another had black hair that stuck up everywhere and his eyes had been a pretty shade of emerald green, he was much lighter than his friends. Then the third had hay-blonde hair with champagne blonde highlights and freckles sprayed across his chubby cheeks. And the last had shaggy ruddy locks with wide blue eyes, he seemed a bit sloppy with how he dressed.

Walking back into the church, Larisa scowled, "…You knew those kids were in here," she said annoyed.

"I did," said Cantebury.

Turning to glare at him, Larisa crossed her arms, "You do realize we may have just screw those kids up! I admit a lot of kids can see stuff like that and get along fine but some can get really hurt by it!" she snapped furious, how dare they hurt those children mentally.

"They'll just forget it when you're gone," said Timber heading over to her with bandages.

Frowning, Larisa held out her arm for him and let him wrap it up, "That doesn't matter, who knows how much longer I'll be here. Days, weeks, months, or it could be mere hours…I don't know, why did you even do that?" she asked him annoyed.

"We should give them a reason to stay away, we don't know if Claude will find you but odds are no matter which one finds you if they do, it won't be good," he said.

Sighing, Larisa nodded, "I get what you're saying…but let me handle it if they come back, I don't want you reminding them you guys are basically the boogie men," she said sternly.

Bowing their heads, they crossed their hands over their hearts, "As you wish!" they declared.

With that said, Larisa made her way to the front of the church wondering if that boy would return, "You didn't flinch," commented Cantebury, "When I bit you," he told her.

Turning back with a frown in place, Larisa looked down at her arm, "This kind of crap is getting less and less painful. I guess that means I'm a masochist, anyway what are we up to today?" she asked curious, most days they gave her task to do to keep her busy and occupied. Snapping his fingers Timber surrounded her with vegetables and baskets while Thompson passed over a knife, "I guess I peel the veggies for tonight's dinner then," she said sitting on a pew.

Watching her momentarily, Timber turned to her and spoke, "Thompson is on guard duty today, I shall return to your manor to secretly check on your friends and brother. See if Claude has struck yet. Cantebury is heading over to where we left Claude and seeing if he's made any moves yet, as you ordered we'll keep out of sight and will not contact," he said before turning away with his brother.

Once they left, Thompson watched the door before turning to her, "I will be in the back transforming the demon's old throne room into a bedroom for you. I'll sense if your endanger but if you need me call and I'll come," he said before leaving her all alone. Waiting till she heard the familiar sound of banging Larisa sighed and reached over for a potato.

She would really like to understand why demons did things by hand, if it was her she use her magic to help with everything, instantaneous would of course be boring. However levitating things and making them go through the motion! That would be lots of fun! Still if you were always able to do that she supposed things would get super boring and you would might want to do things by hand. She knew Sebastian did things by hand a lot, maybe because of his time as a butler.

Staring her peeling, Larisa gave herself cuts here and there but was lucky enough to never get anything to deep. She was doing this for about an hour when she felt eyes like before followed by small footsteps, they were trying to be quiet but whoever it was, was pretty clumsy. Sighing Larisa stood up and looked over, well one of the boys was pretty brave to come back.

Looking over in the direction of the footsteps Larisa frowned, "I know your there and you need to come out now," she said sternly. Getting nothing, she sighed, "Don't play pretend with me mister, I know your there and you shouldn't be here…its dangerous," she said. Finally a big pair of curious brown eyes peeked out, stepping out the brown hair boy with equally brown eyes came out. He had been dragged off by his blond friend, "You know curiosity killed the cat," she said warningly.

Swallowing a lump in his throat, he shook, "D-Does that mean y-you'll kill me?" he asked.

Smiling Larisa shook her head, "Sorry kid, I don't kill," she told him giving him instant relief.

Sighing he nodded at once turning as limp as a noodle, "Thank goodness, I doubted you were an evil fairy but there is always room for error!" he said coming toward her with confidence now.

"You know I could be lying," said Larisa.

Grinning the boy shook his head, "You don't look like a liar to me," he said.

Gazing at his sweet face Larisa frowned, he was so trusting. Still innocence despite being so close in age to her dear gramps who looked as evil as sin, so close to the age when the world stops looking safe. Crossing her arms she pointed to the door, "You need to leave now," she told him firmly.

Looking at her alarmed, the boy ran forward tripping over a loose floor board. Rushing forward Larisa tried to catch him only to snag herself on a floorboard herself falling flat on her face. Groaning in unison both of them sat up, "Sorry," moaned Larisa embarrassed.

Shaking his head, the boy sighed easily, "Don't worry I'm always landing on my face and my mom is always landing on hers trying to stop me from landing on mine! We're a family of clumsy oafs!" he said amused, then he sat and stared, "I'm John by the way," he said looking at her like she was an amazing creature to which Larisa had to say made her uncomfortable.

"…It's nice to meet you John but you need to leave! It's not safe for you here," he told him.

Frowning again, John watched her, "I can't leave! You're the first magical creature I've come across ever, I've been searching for someone like you all my life!" he cried.

Looking at him surprised, Larisa frowned as guilt ate at her. True the wings were supposed to in a way scare people off but it seemed instead they drew a boy to her and now she had to break his dreams. Reaching back she pulled off the wings off and passed them over to the gapping boy, "I'm sorry, but I'm not a magical creature…I'm as human as you," she told him.

Frowning feeling upset John looked down at the wings, the very fake wings, man just when he thought he had one it turned out his hopes were up for nothing. The wings themselves were made some kind of see-through fabric with glitter sprinkled on, "Man, I thought you were a fairy…I guess Allen's right your just some crazy oriental," he grumbled.

"Okay first you can drop the oriental comment, I'm half Japanese and half British. Second I'm just a girl who is not crazy," she told him.

Scowling he peered up at her disappointment still fresh in his expression, "If you're not crazy then why are you in a creepy old church, with people biting you, and wearing fake wings! Wait…is that guy a vampire and you his victim!" he asked at once going back to excited.

This was getting her nowhere.

Ruffling her hair, Larisa frowned, "He wasn't a vampire and I'm not his victim…that guy is my protector and he needs my blood for something that's all," she told him hoping to throw him off.

"What kind of person feeds on blood?" he asked showing he wasn't just a space case.

Rolling her eyes at him Larisa sighed and shook her head, "Fine, he's not human but that isn't something to get excited about!" she told him firmly when his eyes lit up. Scowling she pointed toward the source of the hammering, "He's a demon and demons are not something children should deal with, so go home right now and forget you ever saw me!" she told him firmly.

Frowning he turned to her his curiosity still in place, "If demons are so dangerous why are you with one you're not an adult you're a teenager? So technically you're a child too so what makes it alright for you to hang out with demons," he asked not budging from his spot.

Sighing at that, Larisa turned away this was getting bad she needed to make him go away maybe she did need to scare him away but she rather she didn't have to. Standing up she frowned at him, "This is none of your business, John. Bad people are after me and if you don't leave you could be caught in the crossfire," she told him hoping he would at least fear for his own life.

Gazing at her, John frowned, "I don't care! Do you know how long I've looked for someone like you! To find the world beyond ours! I can't just leave now when I finally found a connection, I'm willing to take the risk to get to know you!" he said.

"I'm normal…for the most part, but I'm as human as they can get. I just happen to be involved with demons and trust me when I say you don't want to get to know them okay. I have a very big possibility of being eaten alive because of demons so stay away!" she demanded.

Looking at her John smiled, "Oh please, you're just saying that to try and keep me away but I won't! Anyway I got to go, I'll come back tomorrow Miss. Not a Fairy! I'll bring you a treat too!" he said running off and out the door.

Chasing after him Larisa glared at his retreating form, "I mean it kid, stay away from me! Your life is endanger if you're around me, I'm not safe!" she yelled after him. At that John turned back to face her yelling he come tomorrow for sure, groaning Larisa went back inside the church, "Stupid kid, I don't want to scare him but I will if I have too," she grumbled heading back to the veggies.

Sitting on the pew she began to skin the potatoes again, frowning her thoughts turned to the future like it so often did. When she went back to the future would her mind stay whole or would she forget everything again? Femi had no idea but she felt she would keep her memories due to that whole out of your own time stuff. When she got home she could finally return home and live with her parents and Ciel once more, no longer would she have to watch them from across the street.

She had a single nagging thought though…should she go back to her family.

No matter what she would always be targeted by demons who would want to feed off her and eventually one or many of them would use her family to get that. If that happened what was she supposed to do? Should she even go back to them? Then the even bigger question, should she tell her parents about Sebastian and what he really was and if they didn't approve…then what?

Peeling the potato the knife slipped and white hot pain stabbed her finger as the blade dug in, pulling back she dropped the knife and stuff her injured finger into her mouth. Sucking on her finger she frowned wondering what she would do if that kid came back tomorrow. Getting up Larisa left the vegetable and went over to her wings to put them back on. Even if John knew the truth she still had a lie to keep up, although at this point she was thinking the triplets were screwing with her.

Why would a fairy be scary?

Rumors plagued London.

A fairy in the church of sin, listening in silence as the noble ladies the queen invited to tea chat to her about the creature Charles Grey wondered if there was something wrong with noble women. Honestly, believing there was a true blue fairy hiding away in a church. It was probably some girl who was bored to tears and screwing with everyone. That or just some lunatic.

Although he didn't know what was crazier, someone pretending to be a fairy or someone older than ten believing in fairies. Still he held his tongue and kept watch. For what, absolutely nothing. No one was stupid enough to infiltrate the palace to kill the queen. That was strictly reserved for her travels, it was only then his sword was allowed to taste blood.

Well it also tasted blood when he got the odd mission out, usually when it had something to do with that Phantomhive brat. Those jobs were always the best! He still regretted the fact he didn't get to do anything with the fake Queen incident. The queen wanted to ignore it though, saying that she believed in her people and that this fake queen would no doubt get bored.

She was right about that.

The fake queen disappeared as quickly as she appeared. Word of her miracles faded fast from the gossip circles and her hidden manor disappeared like a puff of smoke. She must have been quite the illusionist to pull all of that off. That or genuinely magical, although Charles didn't believe in magic. It was about another hour before finally the queen's guest left.

Sitting in silence, the Queen gazed at her tea cup with a gentle smile, "A fairy…I would like to meet a fairy but no doubt the young lady that is being spoken of is just a young girl," she said quietly.

Turning toward John who brought her a fresh pot of tea she smiled, "I think my dear Albert would have loved to meet a fairy, fake or not," she said. It was at that point Charles began to count down in his head from five and when he got to one it happened, "Oh Albert~" she sobbed burying her face in her hands, Charles wondered if she even actually cried or if it was just a reflex.

The moment she cried though, John put down the pot in its proper place while pulling out a puppet of Albert, "Don't cry my queen! Fairies are nothing compared to the magic we had together!" he cried in a muffled voice as he spoke for the King.

Lifting up her head, the queen wiped away her tears with a hankie, "Oh Albert, I know she is probably not the real deal but I would like to meet this young lady who's been mistaken as a fairy," she said sniffling as she spoke to the little puppet.

Sensing her hidden order, Charles stepped forward, "Would you like me to go and get this girl who's rumored to be a fairy your majesty?" he questioned bowing to her.

Turning her gave to Charles, Queen Victoria pursed her lips as she sunk into thought, "I don't know, to meet a girl who could be mistaken as fairy would be a delight but we know nothing about her. Maybe you should get to know this young lady and see if she's safe? If she is then I would be delighted to invite her to a cup of tea!" she said warmly.

Nodding his head, Charles smiled, "Just leave it to me my queen!" he said.

Please tell me what you think!
