Disclaimer: I don't own Merlin! I only own my OC, and any other characters or plotlines I make up along the way!

AN: So sorry that this chapter is short! I have exams coming up shortly and I haven't updated in a while and I wanted something up! Next part will be the rest of the episode.

ENJOY!

Early in the morning, Morgana awoke me, saying that she had had a horrible nightmare. I knew the nightmare that she was talking about, because I had been having this nightmare too. Except for me, it wasn't a nightmare.

The dream was that Guinevere was being crowned Queen of Camelot. Morgana and I had discussed it when we first had the dream, but we couldn't make heads or tails of it. Morgana was certain that Gwen could never be queen, since Uther would never allow it, but when had our nightmares never come true?

I was secretly very happy over the fact that Gwen was going to be queen. I couldn't wait for that day to show.

Anyways, she woke me up early in the morning because she had had the dream again, and she didn't wish to be alone. I wanted to smack her for waking me up when I was sleeping so peacefully, but I agreed to take a walk with her. I changed, and then met her outside my bedchambers so that we could walk around the castle.

We had just started walking when I heard the echoing whispers of "sisters". Morgana and I looked at each other, confirming that we both heard it. We turned to the direction of the voice as we kept following it. Morgana lit a torch as we walked down a hallway and to a door at the end of it. It opened as we heard, "This way."

We walked inside, but there was no one there. But when we turned around, we heard, "Hello, my sisters," and Morgause was there. She hugged Morgana first, and then she hugged me tightly.

"I can't tell you how good it is to see you," Morgana said to her.

"I received your message," Morgause told us. "Tell me about these dreams that are so troubling to you." She cupped Morgana's cheek, then mine.

"They show a ceremony in Camelot," Morgana began. "It's my serving girl, Gwen, she sits beside Arthur on a throne. She's crowned queen. I see the same thing night after night."

"As do I," I threw in.

"There are some dreams that are so powerful your healing bracelet will not stop them," Morgause reached down and took our wrists that had the bracelets. "It is a prophecy."

"How can that be? She's a servant. Uther would never allow Arthur to marry her," Morgana said.

"There are many futures, Sisters," Morgause explained. "Some are shrouded in mist, and others are clear as cut glass. But your gifts are powerful, and this vision cannot be ignored. You cannot allow this serving girl to take your rightful place upon the throne. Whatever relationship exists between Arthur and Gwen, you must destroy it."

Morgana smirked and nodded, and I had no choice but to do the same.

When Morgana and I got back to her chambers in the morning, where we usually ate breakfast together, and Gwen was arranging breakfast as we walked in. She gasped as she looked up. "You startled me. You two are up early this morning."

"I...I couldn't sleep," Morgana said. "I asked Lizzie to accompany me for a walk."

"Did either of you want to change?" Gwen asked as she looked at us.

"No," Morgana answered, and she looked over at me. "Did you?"

I shook my head in answer. Morgana gave me a look before she turned her attention back to Guinevere. "Have you spoken to Arthur recently?" She asked.

Oh, damn.

I hadn't had the chance to find and speak to Merlin about Morgause's demands since he was gone when I tried to check on him (I lied to Morgana and told her that I needed a sleeping draught from Gaius and that was why I needed to go there), probably to serve Arthur.

"I saw him yesterday in the market," she answered.

"It must be hard," Morgana said knowingly.

"What's that?" Gwen questioned.

I gritted my teeth, knowing that I had to keep up appearances. "Hiding your feelings for him," I finished.

Gwen froze. "I'm not sure what you mean."

"I know how you feel about Arthur and how he feels about you. Do you deny it?" Morgana asked as she took Gwen's hand in her own. "It's such a shame you can't be more open about your feelings for each other."

Gwen ripped her hand away from Morgana as she turned around and left, muttering, "If you'll excuse me, My Ladies," over her shoulder.

Morgana looked over at me with a knowing look. "This is gonna be easier than I thought."

I fake smirked. "There's nothing like a fool in love."

I didn't get to talk to Merlin after either, since he was helping Gwen serve the royal family breakfast this morning. If I wanted to talk to Merlin about the Gwen thing, then I would have to grab him after breakfast, or whenever he got a break free from Arthur.

"What news from the northern borders?" Uther asked as he sipped from his goblet.

"There've been a number of minor skirmishes," Arthur answered. I noticed Arthur accidentally touched Gwen's hand when she reached out to poor his drink.

"You think Odin is testing our defences?" Uther asked, but Arthur was too busy staring admiringly at Gwen. I had to hide my grin with my goblet as I took a drink. It was so amusing it was adorable.

"Arthur, are you listening?" Uther asked.

Arthur distractedly looked over to his father as he accidentally knocked over his cup, saying, "What's that?"

"What on earth is wrong with you?!" Uther demanded as Gwen rushed to clean it up. I shared a look with Merlin, who was also smiling.

"Nothing. Sorry," Arthur said as we went back to discussing different matters. I couldn't help but notice the grimance Morgana was trying to withhold.

After breakfast, Morgana and I split up. She went to go talk to Arthur, and I told her that I wasn't feeling all that well and that I was heading back to my chambers to rest for a bit. Instead, I hid behind one of the pillars and waited for Merlin to walk down the hall. When I peeked over the pillar and saw that he was coming, I reached out and grabbed his wrist, pulling him into the small enclosure so that the two of us were in private.

He stumbled over his feet as I peeked over to make sure that we were definitely alone. "Listen, I missed you too, but if someone were to see us like this, it wouldn't be good for me-"

"This isn't about us," I told him. "Though, it has been too long since I got to admire your face close up." I shook my head. "Anyways, Morgause came to visit Morgana and I early this morning."

"What was she here for?" Merlin asked, dropping his flirty tone immediately.

"Morgana and I have been having the same dream over and over again recently," I explained. "In it, Guinevere is being crowned Queen of Camelot."

"Really?" Merlin asked, a grin crossing his face at the thought.

"But to Morgana, it's a nightmare," I told him. "The way she sees it is that the pathetic serving girl Gwen is sitting at her rightful place on the throne of Camelot."

"So what does this have to do with anything?" Merlin asked.

"The only way for Gwen to become the queen is if she marries Arthur," I started. "Morgause instructed us that the only way to ensure that Morgana becoming queen is to destroy the relationship between Gwen and Arthur."

"But how is Morgana going to do that?" Merlin asked.

I shook my head. "I don't know. So far, all she's done is speak to Gwen and Arthur about their feelings for each other. The point is, when it comes to Gwen and Arthur, be very careful."

He nodded. "All right. Thank you for the warning."

I smiled. "Any time. I'm getting really tired of being on their side Merlin. Just being around them makes me feel like I'm evil."

"But you're not," Merlin said as he put his hands on my shoulders. "You're good. And that's what I love about you."

I smiled again as I kissed the tip of his nose. "I love you too."
