A/N: okay last chapter was intense as it was loaded with information and I felt like it dragged on for quite a while. and in all honesty I had trouble writing last chapter, due to adding lots of speculation and facts in it to explain the motives of the cult and everyone's actions. Suffice to say that this chapter will move the story along and reveal who the cult leader really is.

Again, (as I'm getting lazy) I won't answer reviews individually but I agree with your point ffapathy that writing this whole second chance thing is making it difficult to move the story forwards, which is what I want to do at the moment. So this next chapter will clear up and any last questions and theories.

Okay thanks everyone once again and enjoy this chapter!

Night had descended, temperatures were far below freezing in the state of Ohio as the piles of snow covered the roads in white mounds that continued to grow, making it increasingly difficult for a certain hot-headed blonde woman to plough the blue truck she was driving through the raging blizzard.

"Any luck?" Rebecca dared ask of her, as the wheels screeched in the snow, yet the truck didn't move an inch. As an irritated Molly pulled her foot from the pedal and threw her head back in frustration "No, fucking truck, fucking stuck in inches of snow, we'll be fucking stuck here all night" she finished her mini-rant there as she held back some frustrated tears.

"We'll move it in the morning, I don't think the cult could continue to stalk us in this" Eddie told her afraid he might have provoked another angry reaction out of her. Yet as he gestured the blistering blizzard blowing past the truck Molly's eyes relaxed slightly. She was anxious to get to Wellington but even if you had superpowers, no one could survive for more than five minutes in that madness outside the truck, especially at night-time.

"Fair enough" Molly yawned as she stretched in her seat. They were stranded for the night.

But... what could go wrong?

"No boyfriend then? No husband? or nothing?" Luke inquired of Molly as the short haired blonde woman shook her head.

"No wife or girlfriend?" Nick piped up cheekily.

"No, sorry to disappoint you Nicky boy, how about you any boyfriends...?" Molly stated clearly to him, defecting his own insult as the raven haired man went red and angrily spat "No! Fucking hell no!" as the rest of the truck dwellers laughed at Nick's misfortune.

They were all sat huddled in a small circle, as cozy as could be with the blizzard raging outside. The 11 of them, (well 9 because AJ and Lilly were asleep) awake and gazing at each other in curiosity. Clementine, Sarah, Luke, Nick, Eddie, Rebecca, Bonnie, Stephanie and Molly. Because there was nothing else to do other than gaze at the blizzard and sleep. Molly had started to curiously ask if Luke ever had a wife before, in which he shook his head. Hence earning the same question from Luke addressed at Molly.

Now the whole group felt like talking, heck they needed to just talk and try and act like everything was normal. After everything they had been through and this whole "second chance" and "cult" thing, they needed to ease there wired up brains.

"You get so defensive when someone questions your sexuality Nick" Stephanie pointed out, as Nick's mouth went dry as he muttered at her "I... I'm not gay Stef, you should know that..."

Bonnie giggled to herself as Nick's eyes darted around to everyone nervously, the redhead shot him a grin "All this male pride and shit, they can't admit they have a feminine side, not one of them!" Bonnie chirped at the three remaining men, as Eddie, Nick and Luke gazed at each other. Surrounded by 6 females they had no chance of winning whatever argument was cast against them.

"Were on our own gents" Eddie observed.

"I actually feel sorry for you guys, me and Rebecca were the only girls back at the cabin and that was hard" Sarah recounted as Nick smiled at her, before Rebecca wickedly piped up "Well the tables have turned now, as sad as I am to have everyone die the way they did. I guess it's time for girl power ladies, whose with me!" she humorously placed her hand in the middle of the circle, Bonnie, Stephanie, Clementine, Sarah and Molly placed their hands on top of her's.

"To girl power!" Rebecca exclaimed as the remaining female's raised their hands and cheered, leaving the three lone male's grumbling in the corner.

"Makes me wish Kenny, Wyatt, Mike were here. If so, we would at least have equal numbers" Nick muttered.

"Hear hear!" Eddie nodded in support of Nick's statement.

"We'd still have lost every argument though, there's no crossing a woman when she's pissed" Luke whispered to the pair of them, as they chuckled amongst themselves. Clementine had to afford them that luxury, she and Luke may have been as close as could have been. But men and women certainly were different, they were some things that men had to do with men and women had to do with women. That was just the way it was, she was learning more about the world than she should have done at her 12 years, but then again it was the end of the world, you had to learn fast during times like this.

When the laughter died down, a silence descended over the group once again.

"Okay come on then Molly, were not falling for that whole I've Never Had A Boyfriend Before act, pretty girl like you must have had some men in your life" Rebecca directly said to Molly as she rubbed her chin and thought hard about it. She didn't particularly like opening up to people but then again... these people didn't seem to bad. Besides Clem was with them, maybe they could be trusted.

"I had a few boyfriends in high school, nothing ever lasted, I scared them all off apparently" Molly finally admitted in a quiet tone as a low chorus of laughter broke out over the group. Gaining more confidence from this, she eagerly answered the next question that came from Luke.

"So Molly, how'd you make a livin' before all this shit started?"

"Well, I used work in holiday shops in Savannah, you know one of those people who sits behind those desks organising your dream holiday, the flights and all that shit? Yeah that's what I did, I lived with my parents and sister, never settled down always off working or travelling..."

"You liked to travel?" Stephanie asked.

"Yeah" Molly mused, her eyes shining as she spoke on in a feverish excitement about one of her favourite things "When I wasn't organising holidays I'd be going on them. Hell I liked exotic places, been to the South Africa, the canary islands, Iceland, Antarctica..."

"You went to Antarctica!" Sarah buzzed in a wild excitement as Molly smirked.

"Yeah, went on one of those ships there, adventure tourism they call it. I'd love to go again but fuck it took me a whole year to save up for that trip, and other than that... I went to Himalayas the once..."

"Oh wow, did you climb Mount Everest!" Sarah imagined the possibilities of travelling with someone, who had climbed the highest mountain in the world.

Molly laughed before uttering "No, sorry to disappoint you. I did have to climb a few big ones it was part of the trip really. I'm telling you... you think this blizzard is bad? Your hands get exposed there for a few minutes your hands could actually fall off, I saw it happen to one guy, it's dangerous, hiking" Molly lectured an obvious fact to the group.

"Then why do it?" Eddie asked the obvious.

"Just... just something I liked. I always liked the test myself, I never felt happy just being me, we only get one life and I wanted to do all that. Climb Everest, explore the world..." Molly sighed in dreamy manner, getting lost in her dreams before she remembered that she was stuck in the middle of nowhere, in a truck in Ohio. There were no airports, no tourists and no holidays to be had anymore and she doubted she would ever live to see another plane fly again.

"That explains how you could climb so well in Savannah" Clementine observed.

"Yup, being spider-man ain't easy but when you need to get out of crazy communities, it's a skill that comes in handy" Molly explained to the group.

"So what was so bad about this... this Crawford place anyway?" Rebecca felt like she was walking on eggshells as she dared utter the question Molly certainly didn't want to answer. Sure enough Molly went silent and began to curl into herself before Clementine decided to help her out.

"It was bad place Rebecca, they let all the weak people die and only protected the strong" she used the knowledge she had gained from Christa and the knowledge she had picked up when seeing Crawford with her own eyes to piece together this information. Molly smiled at her before duly muttering "Yeah and my sister was considered weak, that's... that's why I left and met Clem and the group. From there on out it was all history" she concluded her life story, exhaling. Feeling like she had ran a mile but finally glad to have opened up to some people.

Before she could find another question thrown at her, she quickly turned her dark blue eyes to Nick's form and (deciding that it was him she most liked to torture with questions) she inhaled before she managed to divert all attention from her and back to Nick "So Nick, you and Stef hey? We all know it's going on how did it start?" the abrupt question took the couple off guard. Their faces shined a beet red crimson as all eyes turned their direction, they were sat next to each other, so there was no escape.

"Yeah come on Nick, when did it all start man?" Luke inquired with a raised eyebrow.

Nick sighed, he and Stephanie locked eyes for a second before he muttered "Well... we just... a few weeks back... we erm..." Nick nervously spluttered out these words, he was certain one of these words would offend Stephanie by some means. Yet she merely grasped his balled up hand with her smaller one and helped Nick to finish his statement, "We got together a few days back, we both sort of... liked each other before that, but..." Stephanie now found it awkward to talk. Earlier she couldn't stop babbling on about all she figured out, but now... talking was difficult.

"Stef's... sweet" Nick mumbled these words so quietly that only Stephanie heard him (which was lucky, as he considered the words far to cheesy to be used in his common vocabulary) Stephanie beamed at him, as the young couple locked eyes, their nervous smiles and wide puppy dog eyes confirming a certain attraction between the pair. Nick went to lower his cap to try and cover his eyes, only to remember he didn't have a cap so with that he lowered his eyes to the ground, but their sweaty hands remained interlinked.

"Aww, you two are adorable" Rebecca gleefully squeaked.

"Are you gonna have kids?" Sarah innocently asked, as Nick seemed to cough in surprise, he never really considered the prospect of having children. "I... well me and Stef look after Lilly and she's enough, but Jesus Christ guys it's only been a few weeks. I'm... I'm not ready for that commitment, I haven't even thought about it" Nick admitted honestly.

"I think you'd be a good parents" Clementine told the pair of them, it was true that they looked a lot like a family. Especially with baby Lilly curled up on Stephanie's lap and Nick by Stephanie's side, they looked like a little family already, as Stephanie shyly uttered "Thanks Clem..."

"It's nice to talk about all this, no Cult's. no crazy second chances and all that" Rebecca told the group, who murmured in agreement.

"You know Luke I think there's another love story going on here, you and Bonnie got your freak on in another life apparently" Eddie's comment made a silent Bonnie lower her head and murmur "Now come on Eddie, were just friends here... ain't nothing..."

"B X L, Bonnie? Even in your crazed up druggie state you carved that on the tree, Bonnie loves Luke... it's written on the tree... it implies they're K-I-S-S-I-N-G...!" Eddie sang in a teasing manner as Bonnie's freckled cheeks went as red as her flaming hair and Luke covered his face with his hand and told the group "Look, things have gone differently this time guys look Bonnie, I... I like you..."

"There, he just admitted it" Molly chipped in dryly as Luke panicked.

"No I...!" Luke shouted wildly, cramming in his words as he spoke on at a hundred miles an hour "I like you as a friend Bonnie! I... didn't mean anything by it I...! Well... I... in all honesty Bonnie, I..." Luke eyes darted from Bonnie's form to the others nervously, as he licked his dry lips unsure of what to say next.

"Well, if you really wanna give this shot Luke. I... I haven't got a problem with it. I always thought... you just saw me as a friend..." Bonnie mumbled honestly, fully aware of the truck full of people by her sides, but she tried to keep her eyes on Luke, as she heard Eddie wolf-whistle to her left.

"I..." Luke laughed nervously, "I thought I lost you Bonnie, I thought I made the same mistake I did last time, letting you go off alone..."

"You only live once man, what the hell is holding you back?" Nick encouraged Luke lightly, slapping Luke's shoulder blades as Luke snapped back at him "Man, not fucking now, I...!" he turned back to Bonnie and ran his hands through his hairs, he spoke to her his tone different from the one he used with Nick, "Erm... well do you... do you want to... because I'm not saying that we should... but I think I do like you Bonnie and..." Luke trailed off, as Bonnie could no longer contain it.

The effects of her last drug made her somewhat giddy, so she leapt over to Luke and wrapped her bony arms around his neck before kissing him full on the mouth. Earning many wolf whistles and "Ohhh's!" from the observing group around them, Luke kissed her back for a few seconds as Bonnie tried to make this moment last forever as she closed her eyes and simply enjoyed the moment...

They broke apart.

"Well... wow..." Luke gasped smiling at Bonnie who placed her head on his broad chest, she listened to sounds of his rapidly thumping heart under his layers of clothing. Her dream ending, her happy ending had actually come to life here, she couldn't be happy enough. No drug could make the redhead woman as happy as she was now, Luke leant back in his seat, letting Bonnie relax from next to him, as the remaining group still giggled at him.

"Isn't it romantic!?" Sarah swooned to a dead eyed Clementine.

"Ew... that was gross" Clementine retched, being the only one the truck (apart from the babies) to be disgusted at the prospect of "kissing stuff" and relationships.

"Well, whatever happened to being friends?" Molly inquired of a beaming Luke, who seemed in a dreamy state as he gazed at the celling of the truck.

"It got murdered" he muttered blankly, still in his happy yet stunned state.

"Well a lot is happening in this truck tonight!" Rebecca exclaimed.

"Yeah it is" Eddie agreed, as Luke managed to get his head back down to earth for a few seconds to still find everyone staring at him, so much so he snapped with "What? What you still lookin' at me and Bonnie for? What's done is done, were you know..." Luke explained, as Bonnie mumbled a "Yeah, just had to get it off my chest" to back up Luke's argument.

"Just a shock, that's all" Eddie told the newest couple.

"Just a shock? Well than stop staring! Seriously it's like you expect me and Bonnie to do the horizontal dance right here and right now!" Luke's words only caused more laughter amongst those still staring at him.

"Luke that's absurd, you can't do your dirty dance in the truck you'll leave your sticky mess all over seats, hell no the truck's stopped, so you can go outside and do it" Molly told him, as Luke nodded sarcastically.

"Yeah, I think we will, in that freezing blizzard it will be fine and you guys can all watch as well..."

"Exactly, that's what we all do with our lives Luke, watch you repopulating the earth. Yep, that's our addiction from now on..."

"Well I can hardly blame ya, my body is simply amazing to look at"

"Yeah it is" Bonnie thought to herself in a guilty manner.

"As your wife I know it is, so why you cheating on me with your ginger mistress..." Molly replied.

"Sorry I forgot to mention, you're the mistress here Molly, not Bonnie".

"MY LIFE IS LIE!" Molly screamed in a mock dramatic tone causing the group to bellow and howl in laughter, as Bonnie simply held onto Luke tighter slowly falling asleep on him...

"...you've been so many places. I've only been to France and Japan" Came Sarah's moan as Bonnie awoke once again.

"I've never been to Japan though, I'd love to go there. So yeah you do have one advantage over me" Molly told Sarah, whose face brightened up, Bonnie lifted her head and gazed at where Luke was happily watching the conversations going on around the truck.

"How long was I out?" she asked.

"bout an hour or two, everyone's still awake... well nearly everyone" Luke informed her. Bonnie's blue orbs found Nick was sound asleep and Stephanie leaning on his chest, Bonnie couldn't help but smile at them, they looked so cute together she liked to think she and Luke looked the same way, never the less she knew that wasn't the case.

"You're too ugly..."

Christa's words came back to haunt her, she shook and held herself tighter. Knowing what she had to do, she gazed at the happy group knowing she wasn't involved in it.

"I went to Spain and England and France" Clementine was saying, remembering those holidays with her parents or on school trips.

The conversation went on and on, Bonnie held onto Luke tighter as Luke muttered "I need to pee" earning a small giggle from Bonnie she held onto him ever tighter as she mumbled into the fabric of his clothing "I need one too, we could... in fact I want too, while were both out there" Luke's eyes widened at the prospect as he hastily whispered "Bonnie! It's fucking freezing out there..."

"Blizzard looks like it's died down a bit, there's a clump of trees over there..." she pointed to a spot 100 or so feet away from the truck, as Luke shook his head.

"It's crazy..."

"We only live once Luke, well maybe you get too live twice, second chance boy..." she mused placing her fingers playfully on his nose, as he beamed at her "But, in case something does happen, you saw how short life was, you saw how easily I or the others could die or go insane. Luke I want you to love me tonight..." she pleaded of him.

"I... Bonnie when I thought I saw you die back with the wolves. I got so depressed because one of the only things I didn't regret beforehand was being with you... I... yeah. I might have two lives, or nine or a thousand but I ain't takin' no chances" Luke told her, as Bonnie smiled at him. This was perfect, it was just what she wanted.

"Hell, I'm getting tired, I think I'm gonna call it a day" Eddie yawned, as he said that Luke and Bonnie stood up at the same time, earning puzzled looks from the group. "We need the loo, don't fret we'll keep guard of each other" Bonnie informed them.

"Okay but be quick, remember we don't know where the cult could be hiding" Rebecca warned them.

"Anything moves we'll be back in this car in a jiffy" Luke promised as he and Bonnie opened the truck to the somewhat diminished blizzard outside, chunks of snow still fell slowly to the ground and it was still freezing but for Bonnie she could cope with it.

"It was... nice talkin' to y'all" Bonnie announced to the group before she leapt out and into the cold night, holding back the wave of tears that stung at her eyelids.

Knowing those, were the last words she would ever say to the group.

Happiness.

For Bonnie happiness always came in the form of a syringe or some drugs that stirred some sort of chemical reaction in her brain.

Happiness without the aid of drugs was what Bonnie had tried (for her whole life) to achieve.

Now she had it.

Luke... Luke was perfect, the way he touched her, the way he kissed her, the way his hands would explore areas of her body, making her tingle in excitement as she drew his body closer to her's. His eyes were young and fresh, despite all the stress he had been through Bonnie still saw so much life and light in those maple coloured orbs of his. Compared to her drug wasted one's... her flat blue eyes didn't radiate any warmth or life, well they usually didn't maybe tonight they looked differently because she was able to find happiness, no cult's, no second chances, no Mike and Christa and more importantly no drugs to think about.

Despite the cold temperature they managed to keep each other warm with their body heat, Bonnie's arms wrapped around Luke's torso as they reached the climax, Bonnie's back arching upwards as waves of pleasure engulfed her form, when all was done she simply let herself gasp and pant onto Luke's shoulder. As he continued to hold her tight, he sure was a good hugger.

"Luke, I wish we did this the first time we were together" Bonnie honestly admitted, in response Luke combed flecks of her ginger hair from her face and cupped her bony face in his hands.

"You were there before Jane Bonnie, God... after Jane I never even realised how much you did for me Bonnie, I... I am so sorry" he apologised as Bonnie merely shushed him as she kissed him deeply, when they broke apart, she managed to speak again "It's okay Luke" she reassured him, she always loved Luke's smile, so when he smiled once again at her, the whole night lit up.

"You're still beautiful you know?" Luke told her, these were his first words of love to Bonnie, a lifetime ago back at Howe's when Carver was starting to go crazy. That charming young rebel Luke had swept Bonnie off her feet with his charming talk and Bonnie thought after everything... he was the one.

After Leland and Mike and countless others, he was indeed the one.

Bonnie saw out of the corner of her eye the awaiting syringe for her in the snow, Luke had not spotted it yet but she had spotted it instantly, the pair peeled their clothes back on. Their backs wet from lying on the frosty ground (it wasn't snow coated as it was next to a tree) but the surrounding areas were covered in a layer of snow. They simply lay on the dirt and Bonnie wished it could stay like that... forever...

"When we get to Wellington Bonnie, me and you hell after everything... we could start over you know?" Luke was babbling as Bonnie turned away from him, the tears pouring down her cheeks openly now. She wished Luke didn't speak like that, it only broke her heart even more but it was like Nick had said, Luke always moved on. He had a tougher will than she ever would, she had given up a long time ago.

Ever since Mike she had been going downhill, the cult had given her a choice of whether or not she wanted to take those drugs and she had done. She was addicted, she was helpless, she was going to die a villain she knew it. Even earlier when Luke and Molly shared that innocent banter an insane sort of jealous took hold of her as she gripped onto Luke tighter. Who knew what she was capable of in the future?

She would end up hurting Molly, she knew it, or Stephanie or even Nick. She had no hope for herself and too show that she truly loved Luke, that's what she was doing tonight by letting herself die and leaving him to find someone who was worthy of him, maybe Molly. They were both young, they both had a strong will to survive.

She gazed at the syringe in the snow, for this night only, the only night where she knew she was going to achieve true happiness over that of the artificial happiness. She could say no to that syringe, she would die drug free.

She would die free, from the cult's sick game.

"You're the only person left that I knew before" Clementine told Molly, as Molly's blue eyes softened slightly as she inhaled "Well... thanks Clem. It's nice to back, it really is. I just wish Lee was here as well" she confessed as Clementine muttered a sullen "Yeah" in agreement.

"Those two have been a while, do you think we should go and check on them?" Sarah suggested only her, Molly and Clementine were still awake, Molly merely yawned "I told you, those two are off getting their freak on, it's obvious and I don't want to see things that can never be unseen" was Molly's reasoning for being lazy.

"Well, I've seen people having sex before. It doesn't bother me, I think we should check on them just in case" Sarah argued, as Clementine seemed to nod in agreement, they both looked towards where Molly was gazing at them with half lidded eyes.

"Ah come on you two, I promise you they'll be back" Molly whined, wanting to sleep now and not wanting to go outside and freeze her ass off. Just too confirm to two girls that Bonnie and Luke were indeed an item.

"I'm still going anyway, they only went into those tree's over there" Clementine said pointing at the clump of trees. The 12 year old silently opened the truck door as she slipped out and into the blizzard. Well it wasn't a blizzard any more, but it was still cold never the less and snow continued to floor. She heard Sarah's footsteps crunch on the snow behind her.

"Hey we should wake someone up! Hey! Goddamn it...!" Molly snapped finally losing her cool and proceeding to get out of the truck herself and follow the two anxious girls towards the clump of trees. Molly gripped Hilda in her one hand, while Sarah and Clementine both had their pistols at the ready, Clementine more so than Sarah.

Clementine knew something was off, Bonnie words to the group just before she left sounded... too emotional to be causal, maybe Clementine was just being paranoid.

But it was always better to be paranoid and a nuisance, then laid back and the reason your friends were dead.

"To think, hours ago we... we didn't discuss now... BANG! Here we are, it's funny how things work ain't it?" Luke asked of Bonnie, he was still trying to get his coat back on while Bonnie tried to keep her voice calm.

"Yeah, yeah it is" Bonnie said, Luke couldn't tell she was crying.

Bonnie turned away from the syringe and back at Luke.

She knew the second she refused those syringes she was no longer the cult's wrecking ball, she knew the cult would have no further use of her. Other than to kill her, it was the only way forward to devastate Luke into grief and madness. Besides the cult wouldn't feel guilty about killing her...

She left Sarita, Kenny and Rebecca when they needed her most, she was the junkie of the group. She chose those drugs over her friends lives that was fact and she continued to do so. She was never going to stop and if she was truly selfless she'd come out here alone, refuse the drug and then be shot down. Only to be found later by some devastated group member, but she dragged Luke out here as well. Putting him in danger all because she wanted one last dosage of "pleasure" with him.

She was still a villain, it was like how they killed Kenny. He must have gone down like a madman, slaughtering cult members so there was an excuse to kill him. The cult were doing her group a favour by killing Kenny, he was the weakest link and now that weakest link was her. It was her time to die an enemy of the cult, they would have their reasons for killing her. She chose to be selfish and have sex with Luke rather than simply die alone and keep them all safe, she was the drug addict they'd reveal that to the group.

Luke looked up, he noticed Bonnie was crying openly, tears streamed down her face as she sniffed.

"I'm sorry Luke" she sobbed.

"Bo..." he began taking a step towards her, but he never got to her in time.

BANG!

Bonnie fell to the floor, the singular bullet slicing through her skull as brains leaked from her head and onto the snow. Her body crumpled at an odd angle as it collapsed onto the bed of snow below her. Luke blinked, he processed all he had seen before he let out a bellow of grief, "BONNIE!" he screamed not caring who heard him. He skidded in the snow falling at the knees near to Bonnie's head.

"No... No... NO!" He roared on repeat, in disbelief of what he was seeing he grabbed fistful's of Bonnie's pinkish coloured brain and tried to cram them back into the hole in her skull, "No... no... come on Bonnie please! You'll pull through this! Come on stay with me!" Luke was uttering under his breath, staining his hands with blood, as it leaked onto his knees and seeped into the snow around him.

"No... please God... why!? FUCKING WHY!? NOT A FUCKING AGAIN! ARE YOU FUCKING TAKING THE PISS! FUCK YOU!" Luke exploded, bursting into a fresh round of tears as he cradled Bonnie's limp body in his arms, as the tears mingled with the blood on the snowy floor as she rocked her corpse slowly in his arms sobbing and bawling like a little boy "Not again... I can't do this without you Bonnie... not again...no... not again...please... please let me wake up now... please... no... no..."

"Ah, what a mess. but we had good reason to kill her Luke, she knew she was holding you back. Yet she brought you out here anyway for her own selfish reasons"

Luke was going to murder that damn cult leader, and fucking shove glass shards down his fucking throat and watch him fucking choke on it. and Luke would stand there and laugh...

He looked up to see the cult leader emerging from the trees except this time he had company as more walker clad forms came out of the foliage with him, all carrying guns. Never the less Luke's eyes burned, he didn't care what happened it was time for fucking pest to die.

"I'm going to watch you die and I'm gonna laugh" Luke told him, staring directly into his grey eyes and Luke proceeded to laugh hysterically at him.

"Amusing" the cult leader commented after Luke had finished laughing, his insane howls echoed throughout the trees, as the cult leader turned back to Luke and growled with a more sinister tone "Now... I want the kids Lu..."

A bullet whizzed out of nowhere as one of the cult members fell dead to the floor, the startled cult leader stumbled backwards just in time as the blur swiped at him, it cut the cult leader's face but he lived.

Another bullet rang out and another cultist fell dead.

"NOBODY FUCKING MOVE!" A cultist spat, guns clicked, from where they were stood Clementine and Sarah found barrels of a dozen guns aimed at their heads, as Luke gazed at them in fear of their lives now. First Bonnie... no they couldn't take Clem! Not again!

"Drop the fucking guns or we blow your fucking brains out" a cultist told the two girls, to Luke's relief they did as they were told. As Sarah glanced over at where Bonnie lay and whimpered "Oh no... B-Bonnie..."

Clementine gazed down, grief stricken at the site of her old friend truly lying dead this time. She gulped as her eyes met Luke's he was crying and Clementine could hardly blame him.

"You... drop the damn blade lady!" the leader of the cult himself spat at where Molly was frozen in place, Hilda raised high above her head, damn she almost managed to get him as well, oh well she left a nasty little cut on his face anyway...

"DROP IT!"

A sighing Molly dropped Hilda onto the snow below her.

The cult leader seemed enraged, he held one hand to his face as blood leaked from it, Pete's face mask was starting to slip off as another cultist asked "Are you okay?"

"Fine!" The leader spat back in haste, cursing under his breath the cult leader had no choice but too raise his head and finally meet Clementine's eyes.

Pete's sliced up skin face fell from the cult leader's own face, as did his eyes... or flaky grey eyes. It occurred to Clementine then those eyes had not been his at all, they seemed like flaky bits of skin resembling eyes, to make them look greyer in colour than they really were.

The cult leader's real eyes...

Were bright green.

A large cut was evident on the cult leader's pale skin, extending from cheek to cheek as he covered it and grunted. Under Pete's scalp, Clementine saw that the pale man had a lock of dull brown hair and he seemed to have very full lips.

Clementine recognised this man instantly and her world seemed to fail and crash and burn.

Who had done this all before? Who had gone to great lengths to stalk Clementine's group after they stole supplies from his car? Who else tried to make her old group look like bad guys? She should have known it was him all along... but he was dead! She shot him in the head! How the fuck was he here!?

"Hello again Clementine" he greeted her with.

The stranger was back.
