Season 6 Episode 1: Exile on Main Street

Ally POV

It's been one year ever since the Apocalypse happened. Since Sam went into Lucifer's Cage. Dean's been around a lot. He's stopped hunting. Sometimes he visits Lisa and Ben. When he is here, he sleeps in Jo's old room. He works at the construction place in town.

Jason is now three years old. Danny is one.

I work as a 8th grade history teacher at the middle school in Sioux Falls. Luckily I took online courses while I was hunting with Johnny. I got my four-year degree a few months before I met the Winchesters. I started at the beginning of the year, four months after Sam jumped in the cage. I remember the first day of school. I told the kids about myself, and one asked that if I had two kids, where's the father. It was hard. I had to tell them that he died a few months ago. That's not true, though. Sam isn't dead. He's in Hell.

Since I'm not at home during the day I bring Danny and Jason to Bobby's.

"Bye, Ms. Williams." A few of my kids say as they left class.

Like I said, it's been a year. It's now September, new year, new kids.

Since it was the last hour, I just have to grade a few papers before I get to leave. After an hour, I go out the front doors to my car. Dean put the Impala in the garage. He got an old pick up truck and I still had my 1968 Camaro. I need a new car, I know. It only fits three people. So my boys had to sit in the front, not very safe. But I can't get rid of my baby. Bobby gave the car to me. How Dean put his car in the garage, never to be driven, I don't know.

"Thanks, Bobby." I said as I left the house with Jason and Danny.

"Did you have fun?" I asked as I got them in their car seats.

"We made pictures." Jason answered.

"Oh really?" I asked as Jason handed my a piece of paper.

It was me, Sam, Cas, and Dean. It was cute. Cas even had wings.

I laughed, "This deserves to go on the fridge."

I finished buckling them up and got in the driver's seat. We drove home and Dean was already there.

"Hey." I greeted when I got out of the car.

"Hey." He replied, coming over and picking Danny up from his seat.

"Dean!" Jason exclaimed.

I got Jason out of his seat and he ran over to Dean and grabbed his leg.

"Whoa, hey bud!" Dean replied.

Dean walked inside with Jason still gripping his leg and I grabbed my bag and walked in behind them. I took Jason's picture and put it up on the fridge. It was only 4, so I still had an hour before dinner.

"How was work?" Dean asked, putting Danny by his toys.

"Fine. How bout you?" I asked.

"It was fine. Tonight I'm going out with Sid tonight for a beer. I'll be back around 10. Then tomorrow I'm going to Lisa's for the weekend." Dean replied.

"When are you leaving?"

"Around eight." He answered.

"Alright."

After dinner, I let Danny play with his educational toys and Jason and Dean played catch in the backyard. Jason looks a lot like me. He has my hair and eyes. Danny has brown hair and blue eyes. It's not exactly Sam's brown hair, it's a little darker. I don't know about the eyes. Neither Sam and I had blue eyes. Maybe he got it from my mom, she has light blue eyes.

A few hours later Dean drove to the bar to meet Sid. It was time to put Jason and Danny to bed. While Jason got dressed in his pjs I changed Danny's diaper and put him in his crib that used to be Jason's. Jason and Danny share a room, but Jason prefers to dress in the bathroom. Once Jason was done, I had him brush his teeth and picked him up and put him in his bed.

The next day I made waffles for breakfast. Once we were done we left for a walk. Jason would ride his tricycle and I would push Danny in a stroller. I always carried a silver knife with me, no matter where I am. Even at work.

We walked through the park, stopping to play on the playground. Once it was 11 we walked home. I gave the kids their lunch, peanut butter and jelly sandwich before dropping them off at Bobby's. On Saturdays I went grocery shopping. Once I bought what I needed, I got Danny and Jason, and went home. As they played with their toys I put away the groceries. When I was done it was about two. I put Danny down for a nap and helped Jason write the alphabet and numbers 1-10. After that he went down for a nap and I had some alone time. I decided to grade more papers. Thirty minutes later both of the boys were up. I had them play in the backyard. A few hours later I made dinner. After eating, we watched tv until it was time for bed.

I was sitting on the couch, on my laptop when my cell phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Sam's alive."

Sorry this one was a little short.
