Lin had just got out of the last place she had searched only to have found it having a bunch of weird monsters and some kid named Rex that seemed to know her somehow. Perhaps he knew Kharina but either way she hadn't found her yet, and the trail seemed cold. So far she has been to New York where she met a group of teens who all had special powers, met another Ben that knew the other Kharina and lead her to kharina's home world, met a bunch of monsters and monster hunters who all mistook her for Kharina and either tried to kill her or celebrated and treated her like a queen, and been to a place filled with weird people who fought these things called heartless with key shaped blades.

Kharina looked around the place she had just entered, after having fed off an animal. It seemed she was in a forest again. She wondered around till she found a building, she climbed the fence and went into the yard only to find an alarm had been set off from doing so. She quickly ran around trying to figure out what to do to hide since she didn't want to be seen right away. She found the sky and the ground were both being watched and they had a komodo dragon trying to sniff her out. She watched where everything was and tracked it all down by smell, she was able to tell what was around her at the time. To her left about twenty feet away was a large male, ahead of her about sixteen feet was a woman, not far from her; slightly to the right; was the komodo dragon, and above was something that reminded her of a pterodactyl.

She took the opening behind her and headed deeper into the place, avoiding the cameras, till she found a building. A new scent hit her and hoping that Kharina may have cured herself she followed it inside. She sniffed around a bit but it seemed confusing somehow. She followed it till she found a figure standing out in the middle of a room and went over to it only to find out it wasn't her, or a he, it was a dummy; with a shirt on it. She realized it was a trap a second too late as she was hit in the back of the head.

Lin had a headache as she woke back up, she remembered what happened and figured she was most likely strapped down or restrained somehow; she was right. "Zack, we told you not to leave your room!" a guy shouted "But dad, I caught her! Don't you think I should be getting less yelling more praising?" a boy asked "Now Zack, that was very dangerous. Who knows what she was going to do. She might have been an assassin sent by one of the scientists who are after you." a woman said. Lin just stayed quiet as she started slipping out of her restraints.

"What if she isn't an assassin though? She didn't seem like she was out to kill, and she fell for a trap like that." the boy said "Yeah, that was pretty good." Lin said after slipping free "Crap." she said realizing she just got their attention. They all quickly went on the offensive so she decided she should just run for it. However she felt something grab her leg and looked down to see nothing there at first then out of thin air the komodo dragon appeared. Needing to get out of there she let her wings out and tried to fly for it, but then got intercepted by the pterodactyl thing. Having no idea how to get out any other way she also let her tail out and used it to grab the komodo dragon and threw it at her flying obstacle.

She then went on to try to fly again when she felt something go on in her head, she wanted to land. She didn't know why but despite the fact she knew she should just fly for it she went with it and landed. Looking over she noticed the boy's eyes were glowing yellow and he was talking to her. "That's good, now stay still. We wont hurt you. You don't want to hurt us either right?" he said and she felt the tension to run fading. "How did you know she was a cryptid?" the man asked. "Well she grew wings and a tail, I was pretty sure she wasn't human." the boy said. "I was once." Lin said slightly spaced out. They all looked at her confused "How is that possible?" the woman asked "I died. A vampire bit me." she said annoyed and still spaced "What were you doing here then?" the boy asked slightly worried "Looking for a person I knew. I need to give her some information, or she may not be able to fight them off." she said criptedly.

"Okay~, so your a vampire looking for another person who needs to fight off someone off?" the boy asked confused. "Sort of. They want us to kill every human and rule as vampire queens." she said still utterly spaced out. However she had just realized what all he had said and began to tense back up again. "Whoa, calm down. I'm similar. I'm something called Kur, and people are both trying to kill me and trying to make me use my powers to hurt people." he said making her look at him again, calming back down.

She ended up telling them about everything where she felt like she had a form of similarity with him, this of course left the others in the room shocked. She didn't know how they would react but she began to understand more about what was going on with her mind. She had figured out that the boy was influencing her thoughts, she didn't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing though. However she did figure that she needed to leave either way since they hadn't seen Kharina at all. "Hey guys, sorry I took so long getting back. I got in a rough stop with a couple of-" another man with a jet pack stopped short of what he was saying as he looked at the scene.

Everyone was standing around this girl, the animals were even looking at her; except for the gorilla-cat thing that was hiding and shaking. He didn't know what was going on but he had a guess it had something to do with the girl in the middle. "Ok, I'll bite. What is going on?" he asked "This is a vampire girl who can rule over all other vampires, or the person she was cloned from could, and destroy the world in the process." the woman said not really paying much attention as she thought to herself. However he didn't know she was a friend so he quickly broke a chair that was in the room and shoved a leg through her heart. "That wasn't nice." she said looking down at the wood that was sticking out of her chest. She grabbed it and pulled it out, flinching from the pain as she did so.

"I thought you said she was a vampire. True she's no human but isn't that the number one way to kill them?" jet pack man said "Uncle Doyle, she's a nice vampire. She's like me, has power but wants nothing to do with it." the boy said. "Besides, would you do that to him if he was turned into a vampire?" Lin asked. "Well, no. He's my nephew." Doyle said scratching the back of his head "He would become equivalent to me if turned." she said thinking they should know. "If you were to bite him right? Anyone you bite becomes the same right." Doyle said acting like he knew it all. "Nope, I could bite everyone in the room and it would only be him that became like me. Any vampire could bite him and he would end up the same as me." Lin said making all of them look at her wide eyed. "That is why I was trapped before by his trap. I was hoping that I might have found her since she has the same smell when human. Course this isn't the first time I ran into myself in another dimension. "She said shrugging "What?..." the boy asked looking at her with wide eyes. "I have been going through various dimensions looking for her, in every one there is a double of us. You are my double here." she said trying to get him to understand better.

Everyone did the same thing they had when Doyle had entered the room, stared at the girl sitting in the center. She noticed this and looked at them too "Did you not get it?" she asked not sure what else to really ask in this situation. "No, I think I understood what you were implying. But vampires, alternate dimensions, my son not only being Kur but a possible vampire king. What else can happen today?" the grown man asked pinching the bridge of his nose. "Oh, he would have the same strength as one; but they wouldn't take him. They want only me and the one that I came from. It was something about our souls power." she clarified. "I see, and this makes it better how?" the woman asked "Raah (Yeah)." seconded the strange gorilla-cat thing. "It means he is safe from them forcing him to stay a vampire his entire life, he wont have to run for the rest of his life from 'them', he wont have as many burdens, wont likely live to regret being born for a century, wont die to be reborn and be raised by a lie, and he wont have to kill others to live off their blood." Lin listed a few off that he wouldn't likely have to go through.

They looked at her as she stood up "I need to go find her as soon as possible." she said about to leave when she smelled something "Crap. Run!" she told them. They didn't know what was going on but they found themselves taking cover as one of the walls were destroyed. On the other side stood two others who looked around till their eyes locked onto their target. "There you are. Why do you both try so hard to avoid your fate?" the woman asked vanishing. They looked but suddenly so had the girl and the both of them where outside already fighting it out. "Now then, time for a hostage." the guy said looking at the group with a wicked smile. He walked calmly into the room heading straight for the young boy, however his family wasn't going to give him away easily.

Lin turned back to the house when she heard a loud banging sound. Looking over she saw the Orion dodging the woman who currently had a sword that shot fire. The man had a similarly weird battle glove on that was doing massive damage to whatever he hit, though he never made contact with Orion's body, and Doyle had a bombs he was throwing at him among other things. She looked over and saw the boy being carried away by the gorilla thing. She knew they wouldn't get far, she was right. It was less than half a second and a cage came out from the ground trapping them both. She saw this and went to get them out, she didn't make it as Leo pushed her into a bush and they both came out looking the same.

Orion pulled back and smiled, he knew what she was planning. Lin knew too, even if she were to tell them it was her there was no way to prove it. Not only that but Leo was able to copy every move she made or make it look like she was the real her. "Now what?!" the full grown man asked looking at the scene. "They want you to pick which one of us is the real one. They know that if I went to get close to you, you wont be able to tell which is the real one. I cant get to close to you without it being a chance I am a fake, and if I am then I can use you as I want if I get close enough to you. I can bite you, use you as a hostage, kill you, you name it." both Leo and Lin said at the same time not missing a beat and sounding exactly the same.

They looked at the both of them, they looked exactly the same no matter how you looked at them and moved the same too. It was almost like looking at a mirror almost when they did anything. "You have to pick one of them." Orion said with a smile. "What do we do now, Drew?" Doyle asked the woman. "I-I don't know, chance?" she said not sure about it at all. "As if! If we pick the wrong one!" the man shouted. "Doc, but we don't know which is which. How can we make a correct choice?" she asked "I don't know, something!" he said annoyed. "I got it!" the boy said lifting a strange thing up and pointed it right at them. "Kay which is which?" he asked "I am." they both said. He slouched seeing his plan had failed.

However he had another idea as he pointed it back at them. "Kay, plan B. Bite me." he said with a smirk. "What are you thinking!?" Lin shouted as Leo instantly leaped at him. He ran for it yes but he was soon caught and Lin didn't have enough time to stop the actual bite. "This is the fake." he said and everyone was right on her while she was distracted by the taste of blood. She was officially out cold while the boy she had bitten was writhing on the ground. Orion grabbed Leo and they both ran for it. "You idiot! What were you thinking?!" Doyle asked him shaking him. "Don't do that! You speed up the spread of the venom!" Lins shouted coming over to help. She removed the venom from his blood system and helped carry him inside.

"Is Zack going to be alright?" Doyle asked "Yeah, he should be fine for now. Hey you got any blood bags?" Lin asked "Yeah. I'll go get some." Doc said and came back with three bags. "Dose he lack blood?" Drew asked "No he will be fine." Lin answered as she grabbed one and sank her fangs into it. They all looked at her weird "What he told me to bite him, it made me instinctively get thirsty. I might have done the same thing Leo had if it wasn't for the fact I don't want to bite people. Half of me did though, which is why I need to drink now. Its his fault." she said as she grabbed another bag and drained it too. "Well, Later. I need to go find her now." she said taking the last bag with her as she left suddenly.
