Yu-Gi-Oh! Dissidia

In the aftermath of the harrowing clash with the Vetrix family replicas, Yami Bakura descends from the sky.

Astral has watched and he has waited, and now he suspects that there will be more revealed about the situation in this parley.

But regardless of the truth, what of the proof? Why do they fight, and why do they go on?

Destiny Draw 44-2

Yami Bakura landed on the ground with his near permanent smirk plastered across his face. "Good to see you Pharaoh. How did you enjoy my new recruits?" he asked.

"Your new recruits?" Yami Yugi asked angrily. "Is that all that you have to say about them?"

"They were android replicas of cobbled together memories," Z-one declared as he descended behind Bakura. "To compare them to the genuine article is an insult."

"No it isn't!" Yuma yelled angrily.

"You know that they aren't, Z-one!" Yusei yelled. "You performed the same process on Aporia, on Paradox, and Bruno! They cared about you, they-"

"They were my dear friends, comprised from my memories and theirs, while these poor imitations were composed from a friend who betrayed them and an enemy who manipulated them," Z-one cut in.

"I am most disappointed, if you think that you can value life born from memory so little, Z-one," Astral noted. "It is surprising that you would adopt such a limited stance."

A portal of darkness opened behind him, and Nightshroud and Number 96 emerged.

"Most curious," Nightshroud mused. "While your plan to force our foes to show our hands was a complete success, Z-one, I cannot help but feel that it has failed to force the hand that truly mattered."

"I wouldn't feel so disappointed Nightshroud," Number 96 scoffed. "There was always a chance that this would happen; after all, do you expect beings of chaos to behave orderly?"

"It was humans that created Zorc after all," Bakura mused.

"Excuse me?" Astral asked in surprise.

"We what?!" Jack asked angrily. "You're off your rocker!"

"You know, Bakura, that's something that I've been meaning to ask you ever since we got here," Yami Yugi said sternly. "How is it that you and Zorc are still alive? I know that you have taken many people here from different timelines, but how did you survive Horahkty's attack?!"

Yami Bakura burst out laughing for the first time since he'd arrived. "Ahahahahahah! Did you really think that it would be that easy to defeat Zorc, Pharaoh Atem?" he asked Atem. "Did you honestly think that one single attack would destroy him?"

"What do you mean?" Atem asked sternly.

Bakura chuckled again. "Heh-heh-heh…I think that you know, Pharaoh," he said, licking his lips. "In the instant that Horahkty attacked Zorc, they…if you will, had a debate of philosophy," he explained. "I think that you'll appreciate it, considering that you had a similar debate with Dartz."

Everyone looked at Atem and Yugi in surprise as Yami Bakura paused to give them time to process the statement.

"You remember how you defeated the Great Leviathan, don't you, Atem?" Yami Bakura asked. "You converted the darkness of the human souls that powered it into light." His smirk deepened as he continued to speak. "So you proved the duality of humans…but which is stronger, Pharaoh? Is it the light, or is it the darkness? It's a human trait…and so it is up to humans to decide the outcome."

"And you're telling me that this is what this conflict is all about?" Atem asked.

"What?" Yusei asked in shock.

Interesting, Astral thought.

"The great evil god, Zorc Necrophades, the Dark One, was born from the darkness of human hearts," Bakura explained. "However, the Gods of Egypt that form Horahkty primarily represent light, ideals that were assigned to them by human worshippers." Wind began to blow in the arena, and Bakura's coat flapped in the breeze. "Humans created them, and so it falls to humans to destroy them," Yami Bakura mused, before chuckling again. "Heh-heh-heh…do you see now, Pharaoh?" he asked. "This conflict will decide who the victor will be in the battle between Horahkty and Zorc in the world of your memories!"

"What?!" Yugi cried in horror.

"You're kiddin' me!" Joey cried.

So this is what it is, Astral thought to himself.

"Hold on!" Atem yelled. "I stopped that battle, so how can it still be still be undecided?!" he asked.

Bakura crossed his arms mockingly. "The sands of time are merely more strands for Zorc's power to manipulate, Pharaoh. Plucking warriors out of the times of the great disturbances, and smoothing the ripples that our victory will create," he mused almost poetically, with a strange expression of contentment on his face.

"We've beaten you before, Bakura, and we can do it again!" Atem reminded the dark spirit.

Bakura's expression turned nasty. "We?" he asked. "You fool, most of the individuals here cannot compare to those on our side. Less than half of them are worthy opponents, and even now you are all guideless puppets without purpose."

"We're not guideless, Bakura," Jack snapped. "Most of us aren't sharing, but I'm sure that someone else has proof of their resolve to fight!" He stepped forwards with a clenched fist. "Just like I told Yugi, I know what I'm fighting for! I'm fighting for the hope of the future, and everyone in it!" he yelled.

"You're one man, Jack," Number 96 sneered. "It's impressive that you could find proof, human, but utterly inconsequential."

"He's not the only one," Kite warned Number 96 as he stepped forwards. "To be honest, I have you to thank for this, Bakura, and Z-one as well. You made me realize that I fight for my family, not just my brother. I will save my father from this conflict no matter the cost!"

Bakura smiled. "Z-one, eh?" he asked.

"Indeed," Z-one declared. "Regardless of what you believe, Bakura, they have all undergone the trials necessary to provoke their proof, and their capability to fight us for real. Whether or not they have realized it is arguably irrelevant. That is, after all, what these trials were for, battles of true danger that could bring out the thoughts that lay deep within."

"The darkness in their hearts can guide them, yet according to past events, so can the light," Nightshroud mused. "But which is the key? This is a question that is harder to answer."

Darkness, Kite thought. He turned around and grabbed Jesse's arm.

"Hey, what's the big deal?" Jesse asked in surprise.

"I just need to check on something," Kite replied, yanking Jesse's left sleeve up. But the skin was unblemished and there was no vein of darkness to be seen.

"Somethin' wrong with my arm, Kite?" Jesse asked innocently.

Kite didn't know what to think, but then he caught a glimpse of Z-one's azure blue eye through his mask. It looked familiar…so familiar…and he could see trust in that eye. It unsettled him, and yet for some reason, it stopped him from worrying about Jesse. But Astral still worried; Jesse had been unconscious when he had arrived at the Kaiba Dome and was only just back on his feet. Something must have happened.

"I really don't believe that any of these humans can distil what they need from the chaos within," Number 96 mused. "Such is the nature of humanity after all."

"What would a pretender like you know about chaos?" Shark snapped.

Number 96 smiled. "The answer to that, Shark, is…you would be surprised. Very surprised."

Would I indeed?, Astral wondered.

"Returning to my point at hand," Z-one declared. "Now that you have faced the trials, regardless of the experience that you have gained, the time has come to fight us for real."

"Then let's do this!" Yuma cheered.

"Ah, you are so anxious to fail, aren't you Yuma Tsukumo?" Number 96 declared.

Astral frowned. "He's far too polite," he muttered to himself.

"We shall not fight you here," Z-one declared. "Such conflicts deserve privacy. We shall wait for our destined opponents in and around the ruins of New Domino City, though it is up to you to decide whether or not we are in certain locations."

Kite nodded. Then my father will still be in the Dimensional Temple that they spoke of, he thought. Orbital can get me there.

"I wonder who will come for who?" Yami Bakura asked. He chuckled. "Of course, it all doesn't matter in the end."

Nightshroud was glaring at Jaden from beneath his mask.

"You need something, bro?" Jaden asked.

"You are the only presence that continues to resist my power, Jaden Yuki," Nightshroud declared. "The darkness claims all, and only you and Astral are those capable of resisting the waves of peace."

"I?" Astral asked in surprise.

"This cannot be allowed to continue. And since Astral is already opposed by an opposite force…that leaves but you. Many here follow their inner darkness, and they do not resist it."

Nightshroud's words created an uproar among his assembled foes. Crow, Yuma and Joey all started yelling at him, and Jack stepped forwards with his mark glowing. Yusei seized his friend's arm to hold him back, and Jesse clenched his fists. Shark kept quiet, as did Kite, and Chazz spat out curses under his breath.

"That's enough!" Atem yelled, and the commanding voice of the Pharaoh sounded out through the Kaiba Dome. Kaiba himself had actually been the most silent of the group.

Yami Bakura was smirking. "The darkness is still strong it seems," he mused.

"It is only to be expected of such chaotic beings," Number 96 added.

"As the Pharaoh has said, that is enough," Z-one said. "Let us depart."

Nightshroud waved his hand, and a portal of pure darkness opened behind him and the others. Z-one retreated first, and Number 96 second, his dark form blending in with the shadows. Nightshroud and Yami Bakura both departed at the same time, and Yami Bakura flashed one last dark smile towards the assembled young men before him, before he was swallowed up by the darkness as well.

The portal closed, and it shrank to a single speck.

Atem sighed, and he sank to his knees.

"They're gone," Yusei said sadly. Vetrix, Quinton, Quattro and Trey had lost all colour, and they were slumped on the ground like empty abandoned shells.

"If what they said is true, they were never the real thing," Kaiba said shortly, but the was no malice in his tone, and even Joey didn't offer any rebuke.

"We have to end this madness," Atem declared. "It's our fight…it has always been our fight. My failure to stop Zorc led us all to this day."

"We can do it!" Yugi said. "And when we do, you can finally rest, Atem!"

Atem nodded. He accepted his name, who he was. He and Yugi had continued to choose to fight separately, and it had given them both a chance to feel as if they were each their own man.

A blinding light suddenly lit up at the top of the Kaiba Dome, and everyone covered their eyes. Two figures descended from the light, one female, who resembled someone that many found familiar, and one robed in white, who all present recognized.

"Sartorius!" Chazz snapped.

The three Ojamas screamed and dived behind him.

Sartorius smiled. "They are here, Hirume," he explained. "The enemies of the light, those who are plagued by darkness," he declared.

Hirume looked the group over, and then Jaden realized who she resembled.

Alexis!, he and Chazz both cried in their minds.

"They are indeed plagued by darkness, Sartorius, but I have been watching these individuals for a while now, and unlike my brothers I am not as gullible as you would like," Hirume noted. "If you think to make me attack them, then you are to be disappointed."

"No, I do not believe so," Sartorius said quietly.

A purple form rose up behind Hirume, and purple light spread from his hands. The being himself resembled Sartorius, and it smothered Hirume with the energy, and she gasped as she glowed purple.

"What are you doing?!" Chazz snapped furiously.

"She shall see the light!" Sartorius declared. Four strange beings that also glowed with purple energy appeared. A horse with a bladed head, a bird with spindly wings, a wolf-like creature, and a griffin-like beast all dived towards the corrupted Hirume, and they strapped themselves onto her. The wolf and the griffin became body armour, and the raven became wings, while the horse became a sword.

"Bujinki Amaterasu," Sartorius said softly. "Show them the power of the light."

Amaterasu charged forwards, swinging her sword at the ground. The resulting shockwave blasted everyone off their feet and ruined the stone even more, carving a huge gash in the ground.

Yusei hit the ground hard, tangled up in the broken forms of the Vetrix family androids, and he winced in pain as his barely healed body from his clash with Nightshroud and Number 96 failed him again. He fell unconscious, his vision blurring.

Jaden, Yuma and Atem managed to land in a crouch, and Chazz struggled to his feet as well with fury in his eyes. "Sartorius!" he yelled again, pulling out a card and slapping it down on his duel disk.

The Light and Darkness Dragon appeared above Chazz and roared at Sartorius. It powered up and blasted a beam of darkness at Amaterasu, impacting the being's shoulder. Amaterasu fell backwards, righted herself, and slashed with her sword, dealing a blow to Light and Darkness Dragon's flank.

"Yuma!" Astral called. "Call out the Numbers!"

By now, Yuma had drawn out five cards and slapped them down. "Come on out!" he called. "Number 39: Utopia!" Utopia appeared, drawing its sword and blocking another strike from Amaterasu. "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon!" he continued. Shark watched as his former card appeared in the Kaiba Dome; the marine serpentine dragon with six wings and six blades in place of legs appeared. It roared and added its breath weapon to the battle. "Number 52: Diamond Crab King!" A blue crab appeared, its shell encrusted with giant diamonds. "Number 19: Freezadon!" A blue and purple icy dinosaur appeared, with a blizzard whipping around it. "And Number 21: Frozen Lady Justice!" he called. A woman in white and blue appeared, brandishing a sabre and she dived in to clash with Amaterasu.

"A mix of offense and defense," Astral noted. "Excellent choices Yuma," he said in congratulations.

"It's a little cold for me, though!" Jesse called, hugging himself for warmth.

Astral found himself remembering what Kite and done, but the battle at hand distracted them. He reached out with his mind to direct the actions of his monsters through basic orders. Freezadon healed the combatants, while Diamond Crab King defended from the front.

Jaden slapped down a card too. "Let's give them a hand, Neos!" he called. Neos materialized in the air and blocked Amaterasu's retaliatory strike at Frozen Lady Justice, then retaliated with a right cross.

Atem placed two more cards down on his own duel disk. "Go, Dark Magician! And Dark Magician Girl!" he declared. "Mahad, lead them all!"

"Yes, Pharaoh!" Mahad declared as he appeared in the Kaiba Dome. He smiled at his apprentice. "Are you ready?" he asked.

"Yes, master!" Dark Magician Girl said cheerfully. They crossed staffs, and dark magic began to build up where the staff heads crossed. The two spellcasters let the blasts loose, and the powerful magical energy struck Amaterasu in the stomach.

Amaterasu reeled from the blow, but she used the momentum to boost off the ground and lift herself into the air, where Diamond Crab King couldn't defend from. The beast-warrior maiden slashed at Leviathan Dragon's head, knocking it backwards, and then deflected a stream of bubbles from Diamond Crab King before exchanging a quick flurry of strikes with Frozen Lady Justice. Amaterasu flicked its sword in a riposte that knocked Frozen Lady Justice off balance, and opened the Number up for a painful strike at the side that knocked her down to the ground. Freezadon raised its strange paddle-like hands and unleashed a blizzard, softening the fall.

Neos boosted off the ground and headbutted Amaterasu in the shoulder. Amaterasu fought back viciously, grappling with the hero and throwing him aside. Utopia took advantage of the opening and slashed at Amaterasu's skirt, scarring her leg. Purple energy began to leak from the wound.

Amaterasu retaliated, clashing swords with Utopia and the returning Frozen Lady Justice, and holding both of them off with wide strikes. When she noticed Neos leaping up with Mahad to try and attack from behind, Amaterasu slashed with her sword and an arc of purple energy knocked Utopia and Frozen Lady Justice backwards and brought her weapon around to knock Neos out of the air. Mahad blasted several bursts of dark magic at Amaterasu, and she blocked each one quickly, and turned just in time to intercept a Dark Burning attack from Dark Magician Girl.

"Come on, finish her off!" Chazz raged.

Light and Darkness Dragon blasted a beam of light from its mouth at Amaterasu, and this one hit her in the stomach, where the dark magic had hit. Amaterasu gasped, and the purple energy began to leak from her system.

Sartorius and the being that had mimicked his form both looked furious. Before Sartorius could retaliate, an overlay network opened up behind him, and he dissolved into it.

Hirume had returned to normal, and she gazed at Astral, Chazz and Jaden. Jaden and Chazz were uncomfortably reminded of Alexis, as she regarded each of them, while the female energy being caused Astral to recall Ena.

Hirume nodded, and she vanished in a blinding flash of light.

Light and Darkness Dragon vanished, and Chazz fell to his knees, panting heavily.

"Chazz, you okay?!" Jaden called, running over.

"Boss!" the Ojamas cried.

"I'm…fine…" Chazz panted. "That creep…he's not gonna get away with this…" He forced himself back to his feet. "I don't care what you guys all say…but I'm gonna take down Sartorius."

"Not gonna get any argument from me, Chazzaroo," Jesse commented.

"Nor me," Kite replied. "Everyone know who they're going after?" he asked.

"I've got Marik," Joey said grimly. "He's been attacking all of you guys just to settle our match, but he didn't really have to," he explained. "I don't need a reason, or any kinda proof to want to take down that creep!"

"Maybe that's it," Yusei suggested.

"What?" Joey asked in surprise.

"Nightshroud's been saying that we're guided by inner darkness," Yusei reminded him. "And I hate to admit it, but it's truer than we'd like to admit. So maybe your desire to defeat Marik…your inner darkness is what motivates you," he suggested.

Joey was shocked by the accusation, but the more he thought about it, the more it made sense.

"Hey, don't worry Joey," Jesse reassured him. "You're not the only one, take it from me. That's the same thing that Nightshroud said about me and Jaden." He placed his hand on Joey's shoulder reassuringly. "The important part is whether or not we let it get in the way of what really matters," he explained.

As he took his hand away, Joey could swear that he felt a protrusion, but he waved it off. "Thanks man," he said. "You know what you're here for?" he asked.

"I'm here for Jaden!" Jesse said. "I'll keep Yubel off his back!"

"And you'll help her out too, right?" Yuma asked.

"Help her out?" Jesse asked.

Yuma clenched his fist with uncharacteristic seriousness. "I promised that I'd help Yubel out, but now it seems like I can't do it. And I never break a promise to a friend, so you've gotta help me keep that promise, okay?"

Jesse was quite surprised, but he was touched by Yuma's sincere concern for Yubel. He nodded, and a smile began to break out on his face. "All right, I'll do my best," he said sincerely.

Yuma grinned. "Thanks, Jesse," he said happily.

Jaden looked at the other duelist with a happy grin on his face.

"They're your good friends now, aren't they?" Crow commented beside him with a chuckle.

"Yep!" Jaden replied. "Some more than others, sure, but I'd trust any of them to have my back in a fight! I've either got friends, living legends, or proof of the future on my side! Seeing you guys makes me remember that I was right, and Nightshroud was wrong!"

Crow laughed. "And there ya go, man! I'd imagine that's your proof right there!"

"Huh?" Jaden asked.

"Well, if you fought Nightshroud to prove that we could save our future, then Yusei here's living proof of that!" Crow explained, thumbing at Yusei, who was still arranging the deactivated forms of the android Vetrix family.

"Yeah, you're right!" Jaden said happily, pounding his fist into his hand.

"Let's be honest!" Crow called loudly. "I think that more than one person here has their proof linked to everyone around us!"

"I concur," Astral agreed. "We have individuals here who encompass both the light and the dark, proving that they can co-exist to a degree. That enough is proof that my goals have been successful."

"Not to mention Kaiba here!" Joey teased.

Kaiba didn't lose his temper, he just remained quiet.

"I'm right, aren't I?" Joey said with a grin.

"Give it a rest, Joey," Chazz commented lightly.

"Ah, don't you go gettin' all sentimental on me, Chazz-man!" Joey laughed, grabbing Chazz in a friendly headlock.

"H-Hey! Let me go!" Chazz protested, struggling vainly, much to everyone's amusement.

"So Kaiba said you took a buncha these guys out all on your own?" Joey asked. "And you said that you didn't have the strength to be here!" He laughed happily, and Chazz forgot to struggle as he contemplated the words.

"Crow's right," Yusei agreed. "Like I told Jesse and Kite, this city and its future is what I've been trying to protect all along."

"As for me, well, that's easy," Crow replied. "Like I said it's you lot! You're all part of my nest, it's just gotten a lot bigger over the years!"

Well said, Crow, the voice of Horahkty declared.

The sun began to shine behind the smoky clouds, and the resplendent form of Horahkty descended from the heavens. She balanced lightly in the Kaiba Dome, and dozens of small humans and animals surrounded her.

Joey, Jaden, Yuma, Crow and Jack (the latter doing his best of keep it a secret) all started drooling at the sight of the food fragments that the beings stood on, and everyone else either sweatdropped or looked away in disgust, while the beings themselves looked just a wee bit uncomfortable.

My chosen, I am sorry that you had to suffer in such a manner, Horahkty said sadly. Rest assured, no matter the outcome...it is almost over.

"Anyone here who blames you for our suffering is a self-centred fool," Shark said grimly. He stepped up, caressing his Barian emblem in his hand. "What would have happened if we didn't come here? We'd all be doomed anyway."

"Well said," Atem agreed.

Everyone looked at Atem then, and his bearing was so regal that they believed truly that he was the Nameless Pharaoh.

"Bakura told it truthfully; Zorc is a product of our own dark side," Atem explained. "It is our responsibility, whether we like it or not."

"Indeed," Astral remarked.

"Whether we like it or not, Yugi," Kaiba said. "We have all been here since the beginning, and have any of us asked to stop?" he asked, turning to everyone. Standing in the Kaiba Dome, a legacy to what he had started, Seto Kaiba's bearing showed, and no matter how flawed he was, he was a man who had built much, and kept it afloat. He was the first champion, and one of the greatest.

Even Joey, who disliked Kaiba immensely, respected him greatly in that moment.

"Did any of us seek an early end?!" Kaiba asked.

"No way!" Crow yelled.

"Did any of us give up?!" Kaiba yelled. "You may have faltered, but did you accept that the end was here and that our quest was over?!"

"Never!" Yuma cheered with a grin.

Kaiba smirked. "Whether I doubt that or not, is not important, for now we're all here, and like they said, we've had enough testing for the end!" he crowed, before bursting out in laughter that sounded just a little bit mad.

But his confidence was infectious, and everyone else was agreeing, nodding and exchanging shakes.

"Might I offer you a drink, sir?" a butler said to Kaiba, holding out a cup.

Without missing a beat, Kaiba accepted the cup, and he sipped at the liquid inside. Almost instantly he felt refreshed and calmed, and he smiled in contentment.

Before their eyes, messengers, maids and female mages assembled from around the horde that surrounded Horahkty, and the laid out a large table, covering it with a white cloth. Horahkty stood at the head, and her form shrank into one that was seven feet tall, still taller than any that stood there.

Come, my chosen, Horahkty said, gesturing to the table. Sit, assay your hurts, and remember why you are here, if you have not done so. Remember what you fight for.

Atem relinquished control to Yugi, and he and Kaiba took the spaces beside the Creator of Light. Those who desired the food took the other spots, and then last of all were Kite and Yusei, Shark and Chazz.

As Astral could not eat, he rose into the air and surveyed the table.

Shark stroked the Barian emblem as he took out a card and looked at it; the xyz monster CXyz Barian Hope.

All seven shall rule again, he thought. If Zorc was snatched before death, then so was Vector.

Kaiba accepted a card from Yugi. "I'm not one to refuse such a powerful gift, but are you sure that you want to entrust this card to me?" he asked.

"It's all right," Yugi said with a smile. "I'm sure that you'll win before I do, if Bakura is where I think he is. And I need to take out Marik first."

"No ya don't, Yug'," Joey said. "I got Marik, you just focus on Bakura. Trust me, I'll make it to you."

Shark and Kite were still deep in thought when Yuma held out a stack of cards.

"You guys feel free to take all the Numbers you need," Yuma said. "You're gonna need them."

Shark nodded, and he selected some Number cards and added them to his own extra deck.

Kite only took two, and he tapped another. "You'll need this one," he reminded Yuma. "You know that you will."

"I would hope that we do not," Astral declared.

Chazz too was looking at a card. Light and darkness..., he thought, remembering Astral's words. I do miss Alexis..., he thought.

Yusei ate slowly, and he and Jack and Crow all thought of those back home, and Jack and Yusei especially dwelled on their upcoming duel. But while Jack had cast aside thoughts for Carly Carmine after the disappearance of her memory, they came back unbidden, and he found his heart aching, Yusei remembered learning of a certain acceptance at medical school, unable to distance himself from it all.

Yuma had offered the Numbers to his friends to distract his heart, all the friends that he'd left behind at home, and not long after Tori had told him what she had. But he ate quickly to distract himself, though he could not fool the eyes of Astral. Jaden and Joey harboured similar feelings, hiding them beneath food.

If Yugi's thoughts drifted to home, it was not to miss them, but to pray for their well-being, so that he could return safely.

And so it was that Horahkty's chosen dined with her in the shade of the Kaiba Dome, in a wreck of a world where true light shone for the first time in an age. Worry and care were cast aside for merriment, and the reminder that no matter their individuals goals and proofs, that this was what they were fighting for.

In another place...

Yubel sat melancholy in the corner, flexing her hand and feeling emptiness.

"You will be reunited soon," Z-one reassured her.

Yubel cast him an empty glance, and she squeezed her hand until it hurt.

Z-one moved on, as Sartorius and Dartz and Marik all prepared to depart. No-one gloated, they just anticipated.

Even the likes of Vector and Number 96 were silent. But the quietest of all was Bakura, brooding in his chamber.

Z-one feared the dark spirit even more now, at this crucial stage, so he passed by the room without speaking.

"Z-one," Yami Bakura declared."I know what you have done."

Thanks to everyone who's reviewed. Your feedback and occasional praise is always appreciated.

Permanently Inactive: Well, that's certainly easier to type than sonofthetrigod. Thanks for your praise, mate.

skydragonknight57: There will be some, and I'll try to include more in the rewrite.

Matsukaze Tenma: Well, it probably wasn't as soon as you'd have liked, but here it is.

Pendulum Wizard: After all those reviews I can finally put an answer in here. We did indeed have time for more Numbers. And, SOD, I ended up making errors after all. Ah well. Bet you didn't expect this so soon, did you?! Ah-hah-hah-hah! No promises for the next one though. I want to sit down and write some duels.

0713MM: Why thank you.

I must go now. I must write tales of finality, I must begin the final arc, and I must devise epic clashes. Hopefully epic.

Ah, writing this with Hobbit music ups the feels.

See you round!

Sanokal.
