Everything happened for a reason.
Molly and Arthur never had many galleons, even when they first married. And they had even less once they began having children. Considering their problems with money, they probably should have stopped after one or two. Most pure-blood families didn't have more than two children after all.
Molly wanted a daughter so bad, though. She didn't think it would take so long to get one. Arthur never ranted at her, even though her desire for a daughter made it even harder to live with their limited funds.
In return, Molly never asked Arthur to attempt to get a better position in the Ministry, one that would pay more. She knew how fascinating he found muggle items and didn't want to force him to leave a job he enjoyed.
So, they dealt with many hard times, mostly related to galleons, or lack of galleons. Their children didn't always get everything they wanted, and their younger sons inherited from their older sons.
Sometimes, they became belligerent over what they didn't have, but Molly knew they'd get over their dissatisfaction. They always did.
Molly learned to appreciate what she did have. She had the love of a good man, one who was loyal and always tried to do the right thing by his family. He was steadfast and there.
When he kissed her sweetly at night, holding her close, Molly was thankful to Arthur for all of the love and devotion he gave her.
When he held her hand during Fred's funeral, allowing her to cry on his shoulder, she had never been so grateful for his silent support than she was at that very moment.
Molly might not have had the life she dreamed of when she was a child, with riches and parties galore, but she would never trade Arthur away for anything. He was everything to her.
