An Epic Defense Force!

Announcer: After getting Ash's seventh badge, our heroes have made it to the location of Pokéstars Studios: Pokéwood!

"I can't believe that we're finally here," Dent commented, smiling.

Iris stated, "Wow, you are awfully excited."

Misty replied, with her Spheal in her arms, "I don't know why, this place is so massive!"

"Yeah and we're not that into making movies like you are," Ash responded.

Pikachu added, "Pika pika."

Spheal also added, yawning, "Spheal..."

Ash and Pikachu look over to the side, as they see someone who looks like Ash. The fake Ash transforms back into a Zorua, as Ash and his friends see a director.

The director said, "Sorry about that. Zorua likes playing tricks."

Misty stated, "It's okay. It's a pretty good actor."

Zorua yipped a bit as Iris commented, "I think it is telling you that it is a girl."

Dent looked at the director as he asked, "Is that true?"

The director nodded and introduced, "Yeah and my name is Luke."

Ash introduced, "My name is Ash and this is my fiancé, Misty, and our friends: Iris and Dent. We're heading to the Unova League."

Luke says that he is there because he was invited to an early screening of a movie. Luke says that Pokéwood was built inside of the amusement park. Dent says that Pokéwood is an attraction that has sets and props that allow people to create their own movies. Misty states that it sounds like fun while Iris likes the idea of being in the spotlight. Ash says he wouldn't mind helping. That's when Luke asks Ash and his friends if they could help. Ash, Misty, Iris, and Dent all agree as they look around in Pokéwood. Pikachu and Spheal see footprints of Pokémon stars on the ground. Pikachu checks out Brycen's Beartic's footprint and compares it to his own.

"Pika," said the electric type, awed.

"Spheal, spheal," said the ice/water type, clapping excitedly.

Zorua seemed to have chuckled, amused at their reactions.

Ash takes a look at old movie posters and said, "Wow, these posters are really old."

Misty added, looking at movie props, "And these movie props!"

Iris stated, looking at a crystal tower, "What a tower!"

Dent replied, "This is a rather exciting atmosphere."

Luke responded, "I know and the best part is that there is going to be a movie competition right here and I want to create a new movie. The best director is going to be chosen by the audience!"

The group exchange excited looks as they agree to help. Gold walks up to them, as Luke says that he is the President of Pokéwood. Cilan says that Gold produced some of the famous movies. Gold says that he wants to see Luke's movie, and that he can hardly wait to see it in the competition. A woman shows them the costumes they may use in the movie, and hands them a catalog of the sets and props. Dent notices that the participants will have the same costumes and props, while Luke says that it is to see how a Director can create something unique from the same props and costumes.

Misty commented, "Sounds like a director does a lot just for one movie."

"Sure does," Ash stated.

Iris replied, "Still a lot of fun."

"Indeed, it is a excellent dessert," Dent responded, smiling.

Luke pointed out, "I don't know about that but I think we should go over the storyboard."

Jake walks up to them and says that the story isn't good. Jake says that he is Luke's rival, as Luke says that they have been competing against each other in movie festivals for awhile. Jake says that his specialty is in making authentic action movies, and that they will find out who the best director is after the audience votes after the premieres. Ash, Misty, Pikachu, and Spheal are the heroes of the Unova Defense Group, Dent is the alien that manipulates the mecha Tyranitar, and Iris is the priestess of Pokémon Island and is accompanied with Zorua and Axew.

"And since Ash and Misty are engaged, we can make it like they are also partners in the film," Dent suggested.

Luke commented, "That's perfect!"

"I just can't believe I'm going to be a priestess," Iris gushed, "It sounds like fun!"

Ash turned to Misty and asks, "Up for it, Mist?"

"You bet, Ash," Misty answered, smiling.

Luke tells Dent that he can make up how he wants to control the mecha Tyranitar. Dent says that he will be able to perfectly control the mecha Tyranitar. Golett is going to be the Assistant Director, Leavanny is going to take care of the costumes and make up, and Luke will be the cameraman and Director. Ash, Misty, Pikachu, and Pignite are in a space ship in front of a green screen for the first scene. Luke says that during the scene, they are ready to attack the Tyranitar on Pokémon Island. Iris wonders if the ship will look like it's actually flying, as Luke says that with the green screen behind it they can place a picture of space behind the space ship.

"Green screen, huh," Ash asked.

Misty answered, "Yeah, movies are complex just like battling."

"That is an excellent taste of describing it," Dent stated, smiling.

Iris replied, "Whatever the case is, we better get filming!"

"Right you are, Iris," Luke responded, nodding.

Dent says that the giant fan will make the wind to make the scene look more realistic. Dent holds up a net of dry ice, as the large fan blows smoke toward the space ship. The first scene is shot, as Ash and Misty say their lines as Pikachu, Pignite, and Spheal use their attacks from the top of the space ship. The next scene is shot with Leavanny, Excadrill, Oshawott, Snivy, Scraggy, Crustle, Boldore, Stunfisk, Emolga, Pansage, Corsola, Alomomola, Gyarados, and Politoed yelling out. The next scene has Golett on the ground, with Iris and Axew next to it. Iris thinks that she needs eye drops to be able to cry.

Dent suggested, "Try imagining that you are saying goodbye to Axew."

"That would get anyone to cry," Luke pointed out.

Iris stated, "I'll give it a try."

"Go for it," Misty replied.

With that, Iris imagines saying goodbye to Axew, as she is finally able to cry. Luke shoots the scene, as Zorua is shown transforming. The next scene is shot, as Golett, Misty, and Ash use paper fans to create smoke around a miniature UFO and Dent uses his fishing rod to hold up the UFO. Luke says that the scene needs to be more powerful, as he finds something in the catalog and asks Ash to get it. Meanwhile, Meloetta floats around the city, as Team Rocket watches it very closely. Ash and Pikachu look for the model, as they see Meloetta near by. Meloetta runs into a log, as several boards begin to fall on her.

"Oh no, look out," said Ash, diving for the Pokémon.

The raven haired trainer manages to save Meloetta from being hit, as Ash notices that Meloetta is no longer there. Meloetta reappears and looks at Ash. The scene is re-shot, as a miniature ship is hit and begins to smoke and a UFO is shown. Ash and his friends watch the footage that they shot, use a computer to put the images and scenes together, say their lines into large microphones, and then celebrate that they finished filming the movie. Jake's movie is shown on the screen, as Ash and his friends watch. The mecha Tyranitar is shown launching beams to destroy the city.

Jake's and Krookodile drive in a vehicle with a large laser to the mecha Tyranitar. Jaws launches the laser beam to destroy the mecha Tyranitar, as the film ends. The audience claps and Jake smirks at Luke, which annoys him. Luke's film begins, as Zorua is shown barking as if she was the lion that is in the beginning of many films. Ash, Misty, Pikachu, Pignite, and Spheal fly in a ship, as they see the Tyranitar in the water. Ash and Misty say their lines, while Pignite, Spheal, and Pikachu jump on the wings of the ship. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, Spheal uses Ice Ball, and Pignite uses Flamethrower to hit the Tyranitar, as it turns into the mecha Tyranitar. The mecha Tyranitar launches a red laser beam to hit the ship, as it begins to smoke.

Ash, Misty, Pikachu, Pignite, Spheal jump out of the ship with parachutes, as a UFO flies by. Cilan is in the UFO as an alien, as he says his lines. Ash realizes that he is the one controlling the mecha Tyranitar. Two Iris, Axew, and Golett are there, as Ash, Misty, Pikachu, Pignite, Spheal land on the ground. Ash says that they must evacuate the island, but Iris refuses. She says that they must resurrect Golurk to protect the island. They see the large statue of Golurk, as the mecha Tyranitar and Dent continue to head toward the island. The UFO launches a beam to bring up several Pokémon into the UFO.

Both Iris ask Golurk to help them out, while the mecha Tyranitar launches a fire ball to destroy the large statue. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt. Spheal uses Ice ball, and Pignite uses Flamethrower, as the attacks don't damage the mecha Tyranitar. The mecha Tyranitar launches a yellow laser beam at them, as they dodge the attack. The mecha Tyranitar launches another beam at both Iris, as Golett jumps in front of them to take the attack. Both Iris cry, as the tears hit Golett and it begins to glow. Golett evolves into Golurk, and then grows into a giant Golurk. Golurk and the mecha Tyranitar grab each other, as the mecha Tyranitar hits Golurk with a laser beam.

Golurk hits the mecha Tyranitar with one of its own attacks, as everyone cheers Golurk on. The mecha Tyranitar tries to hit Golurk with its tail, but Golurk pushes it away and the mecha Tyranitar hits the ground. Golurk uses Mega Punch on to destroy the mecha Tyranitar, which upsets Cilan. The UFO launches a laser beam at Golurk, as it uses its arm to block the attack. Golurk uses Psychic on the UFO to bring the Pokémon back onto the ground. Golurk uses Gyro Ball to hit the UFO, as it smokes and then blows up. Golurk goes back down to the ground, and then uses a beam to fix the Golurk statue.

The giant Golurk turns back into a Golett, as the Pokémon all celebrate. As the movie ends, both Iris say thank you to Golurk. Luke wonders if his movie wasn't good, as Jake thinks that he won which annoys Luke. The announcer announces the results of the audience's votes, as Luke wins the competition. Gold presents Luke with the winning trophy, as he says that he is looking forward to Luke's next movie. Gold says that Pokéwood will also cover the production of Luke's next movie. Zorua transforms into Iris and Golurk, as she shows that she played those two characters in the movie.

As the sun sets, Luke says that he will be staying in Pokéwood to think of his next project. Ash is excited about his upcoming Gym battle. Ash and his friends say goodbye to Luke, as they head toward the Virbank City Gym with Meloetta following.
