A/N: The picture I have in use is from dA by an artist lychi and the picture's name is just simply Zelda.
Also, I do NOT own the characters or places unless said otherwise. Nintendo has the rights. =P Honestly speaking, all I have is the idea for the story, few monsters, creatures and bit of changing the places. Oh, and couple of OCs here and there. ^^; I'm certain everyone can figure out which belongs to me and which doesn't. =)

_HeroGirl99
Link was gently scratching the soft pink scales of the dragon toy while reading the short note like letter through time after time again. He wasn't really counting his doing as reading, it was more of just staring at the words and letting his eyes fly through them without understanding them. In other words, he had fallen to his own thoughts while to anyone else it looked like he was actually doing something. It was something he had picked up during the years to avoid looking like he was just slacking off or keeping those with less of courage to approach him when he just wanted bit of time to himself.
"It seems like people have noticed my little secret..." Link mused while turning his gaze into the dragon and smiling fondly at it. "Miss Pink..." The Hero thought and his smile widened a bit at the name. "Yeah, that fits well for the little dragon of mine." He decided and picked the creature up to hug her.
Link sighed almost contently while carefully pushing the chair backwards to stand on its back feet. He didn't have his brothers' balance but he sometimes almost unconsciously did what he warned his brothers of. Just like right now. He just enjoyed the slight rocking of back and forth while maintaining the balance by his feet on the edge of the table. He just had to be careful of not pushing the chair too much back or it would crash down and take him along.
Link closed his eyes and just relaxed. He was still petting the pink, red eyed dragon while unconsciously hoping that his teddy bear wouldn't get jealous of the moment. The second that thought hit, the Hero blushed at how stupid and childish it sounded. Yet, he couldn't help but give the teddy bear a glance just in case. Ever since he had gained the fella, it had stayed on his night table.
Eventually Link sighed heavily and let the chair back to its rightful position. He placed the dragon to the table and picked a paper from the stack of white sheets. After that he picked the ink bottle and a pen. Yet, he didn't feel like writing so his gaze found back into the toy and before he even realized, that small and bit sorrowful smile was back on his face as his hand found back into scratching the soft texture of the toy.
Reluctantly Link pulled his hand back and turned his gaze into the empty white paper. He just wanted to keep on petting the dragon that writing the reply letter was something overly hard at the moment. Eventually he mentally forced himself to start writing.
Dear HeroGirl99
Thank You for Your letter. And huge thanks on the dragon. She's beautiful little creature and I'm really enjoying of her company. I named her "Miss Pink". Yeah, I know I fail with names but that was what first came to my mind when I thought about naming her. It's kinda unconscious, if You understand what I mean.
Now, the question You put up... It is actually very interesting one. I'm not sure if any of my enemies have even tried to kidnap me but if they have, they have failed so far. Of which I'm very grateful of. But, as to what I'd do in such a situation? Well, I'd obviously fight back with everything I got, be it with weapons, magic or unarmed fighting. I would put it as hard as I can to prevent them from succeeding. If my brothers would be close by, I certainly would be calling out to them in hopes of gaining help.
I hope this had answered Your question. I'm not sure why You were worrying over me getting angry about something like this. I gladly answer to given questions and the harder they are, the more I want to put thought into it. I really am grateful of the interesting question and I hope to gain more of this kind of questions. Thank You. Also, I want to thank You again for the dragon. I wish I could send you a hug for it. And I wish to gain more letters from you.
With best regards
Link, the Hero of Hyrule
Once he had written it, he swiftly read it through. It was mainly in search of mistakes than of checking what he had written in reality. After that he quickly did the envelopes and left the things to the table while picking up the dragon and going to the bed. At there he flopped down and hugged the pink creature while closing his eyes and enjoying of the softness.
Link had a secret he hadn't told to anyone. He really enjoyed soft toys. Mainly of those stuffed animal toys. The Hero rarely gained hugs other than of showing gratitude or such. He didn't even get much of hugs from his brothers. The younger dark Hylian wasn't the kind of guy who hugged that of much. Sure, he did do that now and then but it still was rare occasions. The older dark Hylian then again lived in another kingdom and they didn't see that of often in the end. So, that all left him in need of contact and something fluffy. Not to mention that he was the older brother to the younger dark Hylian which also meant that he acted bit more like a Hero than of anything else.
Link sighed heavily before he reached out and took the teddy bear from the night table. He hugged both of the toys and bit curled up while closing his eyes. So far he only had three soft toys of which two he had gained from the letter senders and one he had bought himself.
That bought one he had found from the Market couple of years ago. He had very strict guidelines considering the stuffed toy animals. Of course, those didn't count when he gained the toys from others. Yet, when he was searching for a toy, he wanted it to be as soft as possible. The fur had to be smooth and feeling really nice and soft under his touch. The toy had to actually look like what it was supposed to present. For example, he had never seen purple horses in real life so such were fully out of his counting. The work of the toy had to be perfect so that the parts or the fur wouldn't be easy to pull off.
Link hadn't really been in search of the soft, stuffed toy animals when his gaze had fallen into the horse toy. The only thought that went through the Hero's head was simply: "Epona." The toy looked exactly like his trusty steed. The golden haired Hylian made his way straight to the said toy and picked it up. He carefully checked it but even if some of his list's parts weren't checked off, he already knew to buy it. The similarities were so alike that he couldn't even think about leaving the toy into the shop.
It was one of the very few times Link actually lied. He claimed to the seller that it was for one child whom didn't have any of toys. The Hero just couldn't tell that he was buying the stuffed toy horse for himself.
Once in the safety of his room, which he hadn't shared with Dark yet, he straight off flopped down to the bed and just hugged the toy close. Unfortunately, his moment with the toy was short lived as someone came to knock on his door at then. Link had swiftly hidden the toy behind the pillows and left the room after that. He only got back to the toy few days later after a mission. At then he really needed the softness of the toy to get some of the stress off. After that he hid the toy for the day time and during night he hugged the toy horse. When Dark moved in to live with him, the horse stayed out of sight since Link just didn't have the courage to show and explain of things.
Currently he was trying to figure out whether or not he should tell about the stuffed toy horse to his brothers. After all, he already had gained two new toys and it was clear to the younger brother that the Hero enjoyed of the soft toy bear since the dragon arrived only at today. Just then he heard the key being used in the door's keyhole.
Link sat up bit startled. He swiftly put the bear back to its rightful place before making a quick decision and put the dragon by it. The Hero took a quick deep breath and straightened his tunic and cap just in time before the door was opened and he turned his gaze towards it.
Just as the golden haired Hylian had guessed, Dark came in. "Hey, bro." Link called as calmly as he could. The ruby eyed male was bit startled and he snapped his gaze into the Hero. The cerulean eyed one grinned a bit. "Didn't wait for me to be home yet, did you?" He inquired while relaxing bit with the information.
Dark sighed bit heavily and shrugged. "I wasn't expecting it but it shouldn't be much of surprise in the end." He replied while closing the door and noticing the letter things on the table. "Replying to letters?" The black haired warrior inquired while going to place his weapons next to Link's.
Link shrugged a bit and flopped down to his back. "Only one but yeah." He answered while waiting for Dark to notice the dragon. "How's your day been?" The Hero continued while turning his gaze from the ceiling into his brother.
"It was okay." Dark replied with a shrug and turned to look at Link. Yet, his gaze continued into the pink dragon. "Did you receive that today?" The dark Hylian inquired while nodding towards the dragon. Link nodded and grinned lopsidedly.
"A letter sender by the name of HeroGirl99 send it. She made it herself." The Hero answered and picked the dragon up. "The dragon's name is Miss Pink." He continued with a wide grin. Dark had first nodded but at the name he blinked and stared at Link.
"Was the dragon named by the sender or by you?" The Hero's Shadow inquired while bit dreading the answer. The golden haired warrior scowled and turned his gaze off bit hurt.
"I named her and I like it." He replied with slight anger in his voice. Link almost cringed at his own voice and words but he held his place without showing the reaction his own actions brought up.
Dark flinched and dropped his gaze down to the ground. "Sorry." He half mumbled. "I didn't mean to hurt you." The dark Hylian continued and raised his gaze up just in time to see Link relax a bit. "I think the name suits the dragon." He continued in attempt of fixing the situation. That luckily got the Hero to turn around a bit with a hopeful look. It was something the Half-Shadow rarely saw but which he had learned to hope to see more often. The given look just brought the thought of innocence and the need to protect that. Dark didn't know where that came from but it felt fully natural to him.
The dark Hylian smiled and nodded while coming to sit next to Link. "She's really cute and well done." He complimented and carefully reached out to touch the dragon but he did glance at the Hero for acceptance which he gave by a nod. "Soft too." Dark observed once he got to touch the creation. "Your teddy bear has a friend now. And I'm sure they'll get along perfectly." He continued with an honest smile.
Link blushed a bit but he nodded with a small smile. He wasn't sure how to feel but he was grateful of how Dark reacted to the situation. For once it was like their places were swapped and he kinda liked of it. Without thinking, the Hero carefully leaned against the dark Hylian and closed his eyes. He felt Dark froze for a short moment before calming down and hesitantly wrapping his arms around him. It didn't take long before the golden haired warrior had fallen asleep with a small smile on his lips.

A/N: Letters From Hyrule will once again be once a week updated, hopefully. So, if you wish to send a letter to the duo or any of the other characters of Hyrule, you're free to do so. Here's few guidelines for doing a letter:
- Before sending what You've written, please, read it through. Just in case if there's some words missing.
- Dots. I would SERIOUSLY appreciate it if You could actually put a dot after a sentence. Helps TREMENDOUSLY to read it. It's okay if You're not using capitalized letters at the start of a sentence and within names but I would pretty much RECOMMEND the dots into the end of the sentence.
- Paragraphs. Whenever You change the topic in Your letter press that button called Enter. Again, it helps to read the letter and find a way to reply to it.
- NO harmful things. I will NOT accept letters that are having mean and cruel words NOR harmful presents... Though, there IS an exception. I WILL send such thigngs into Evil Realm. At first I had thought to deny it from there too but then I came up with that one story with the send magic bomb and, well, yeah... But such things will NOT be send to Dark, Link, Zelda or others who are NOT thorough bad guys. Thank You for Your understanding.
All of these little things also helps YOU to give a better picture of You to the character You send the letter.
As a totally different thing, I'm trying to get 100 uploads done during this year (2017). Some will be here and some will be at DeviantArt. The list of these 100 stories and the links to them will be at DeviantArt so check that one out. Current counting is 81 uploads left. Oh, and by upload I mean for poems, one shots and chaptered stories where each chapter is counted as one of the uploads. I hope I will get this done.
