(Edoras)
It was night time and everyone in Edoras was asleep. Devon and his friends all slept in a large room with Merry, Pippin and Gandalf. Luna, Toothless and the other dragons all slept in the room with their riders. Devon laid on his back against Luna's right-side as she curled up around him. Spyro and Cynder laid next to each other alongside Devon and Luna. The Viking Teens laid on the floor in their beds with their dragons resting alongside them.
Aragorn walks out of the room where he was smoking his pipe. Pippin moves in his bed, feeling as though something was bothering walks into a room where Éowyn was sleeping on an elaborate bench by a dimmed down fire. He pokes the fire with a stick and fixes the blanket on Éowyn.
"What time is it?" Éowyn asks
"Not yet dawn." Aragorn says
Aragorn begins to walk away. As he does, Éowyn grabs his hand.
"I dreamed I saw a great wave, climbing over green lands and above the hills. I stood upon the brink. It was utterly dark in the abyss before my feet. A light shone behind me, but I could not turn. I could only stand there, waiting." Éowyn says
"Night changes many thoughts. Sleep, Éowyn. Sleep...while you can." Aragorn says
Aragorn walks out of the room and heads outside. He then sees Legolas staring off into the distant lands and walks over to him.
"The stars are veiled. Something stirs in the east. A sleepless malice." Legolas says
"The eye of the enemy is moving." Legolas says
Unable to sleep, Pippin gets up and walks toward Gandalf.
"What are you doing?" A voice asks
Pippin jumps slightly in shock and turns around. The voice belonged to Merry who saw Pippin was awake. Pippin turns back around and sees Gandalf sleeping with his eyes open. In his arms was the Palantir wrapped up in a grey cloth.
"Pippin?" Merry says confused
Pippin waves his hand infront of Gandalf to make sure whether or not he was indeed asleep, but nothing happens. Pippin grabs a nearby empty jug and exchanges it for the Palantir.
"Pippin, are you mad?" Merry says
"I just want to look at it. Just one more time." Pippin says
"Put it back." Merry says
Pippin unwraps the Palantir and gazes upon it.
"Pippin." Merry says
Pippin places his hands on the Palantir and looks into it. He soon sees the Eye of Sauron.
"No." Merry says
As he held the Palantir in his hands, Pippin starts to wince in pain.
"Pippin." Merry says feeling worried
Outside, Legolas senses the presence of Sauron.
"He is here." Legolas says
Back inside, Pippin begins to shudder.
"I see you." Sauron says
Suddenly, Pippin jumps up to his feet and is overwhelmed with agonizing pain.
"Pippin!" Merry says
Pippin began grunting in pain. He then falls to the floor on his back and began writhing in pain.
"Help! Gandalf!" Merry shouts
Everyone awakens and sees Pippin on the floor in pain. Aragorn and Legolas burst into the room.
"Someone help him!" Merry shouts
Aragorn takes the Palantir away from Pippin. He too is overwhelmed with agonizing pain. He loses grip of the Palantir and it rolls across the floor. Devon tries to grab the Palantir, but it rolls far away from him. Luna tries to grab the Palantir with her paws, but like Devon, it rolls out of her reach. Gandalf takes a cloak and throws it at the Palantir. The cloak covers the Palantir and stops it from rolling
"Fool of a Took!" Gandalf shouts
Gandalf pushes Merry out of the way and bends over Pippin. Pippin laid on his back, looking frozen and shocked. Gandalf touches Pippin's forehead with his hand and chants under his breath. Pippin then awakens and starts panting feeling horrified.
"Look at me." Gandalf says
"Gandalf, forgive me." Pippin says
Pippin turns his head away slowly, but Gandalf turns Pippin to face him.
"Look at me. What did you see?" Gandalf asks
"A tree. There was a white tree in a courtyard of stone. It was dead." Pippin says
An image of a white tree burning in flames appears in Gandalf's mind.
"The city was burning." Pippin says
"Minas Tirith? Is that what you saw?" Gandalf asks
"I saw...I saw him! I can hear his voice in my head." Pippin says
"And what did you tell him? Speak!" Gandalf asks
Pippin closed his eyes as Gandalf asked him that question.
"He asked me my name. I didn't answer. He hurt me." Pippin says
"What did you tell him about Frodo and the Ring?" Gandalf asks
Pippin looks at Gandalf with confusion in his eyes.
(The Next Day)
Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, Stormfly, Fishlegs, Meatlug, Snotlout, Hookfang, Tuffnut, Ruffnut, Barf and Belch stood in the Golden Hall with Théoden, Éomer, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli as they listened to Gandalf as he spoke of what he heard from Pippin last night.
"There was no lie in Pippin's eyes. A fool, but an honest fool he remains. He told Sauron nothing of Frodo and the Ring." Gandalf says
"Well, that's good to know." Hiccup says
Toothless nods his head in agreement letting out a soft growl.
"We've been strangely fortunate. Pippin saw in the Palantir a glimpse of the enemy's plan. Sauron and Lord Thanatos move to strike the city of Minas Tirith. Their defeat at Helm's Deep showed our enemy one thing. He knows the Heir of Elendil has come forth. Men are not as weak as he supposed. There is courage still, strength enough perhaps to challenge him. Sauron fears this. He will not risk the people of Middle-Earth uniting under one banner. He will raze Minas Tirith to the ground before he sees a King return to the throne of Men." Gandalf says
"Then, we must help them. We have to go and help the people of Gondor before they fall victim to Sauron and Lord Thanatos' power." Devon says
"Devon's right. We can't leave these people to suffer and die. They won't be able to fend them off on their own. We have to help them." Luna says
Gandalf nods in agreement.
"Yes. We all must marshal to Gondor's defense in it's darkest hour before the shadows loom over the world of Men. If the beacons of Gondor are lit, Rohan must be ready for war." Gandalf says
"Tell me. Why should we ride to the aid of those who did not come to ours? What do we owe Gondor?" Théoden asks
"I will go." Aragorn says
"No!" Gandalf says
"They must be warned!" Aragorn says
"They will be." Gandalf says
Gandalf walks closer to Aragorn.
"You must come to Minas Tirith by another road. Follow the river. Look to the black ships." Gandalf says
Gandalf turns back around facing the others.
"Understand this. Things are now in motion that cannot be undone. I ride for Minas Tirith." Gandalf says
Gandalf turns and looks toward the two Hobbits, Devon and his friends.
"And I won't be going alone." Gandalf says
(Moments later)
Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons follow Gandalf through the village toward the stables with Merry and Pippin.
"Of all the inquisitive Hobbits, Peregrin Took, you are the worst! Hurry! Hurry!" Gandalf says
"Where are we going?" Pippin asks
"Why did you look. Why do you always have to look?" Merry says
"I don't know. I can't help it." Pippin says
"You never can." Merry says
"I'm sorry, alright? I won't do it again." Pippin says
"Don't you understand? The enemy thinks you have the Ring. They're going to be looking for you, Pip. We have to get you out of here." Merry says
"And you-you're coming with me?" Pippin asks
Merry turns around and walks toward the stables.
"Merry?" Pippin asks
"C'mon." Merry says
Gandalf lifts Pippin and sets him on Shadowfax. Devon climbs onto Luna's back and the Viking Teens climb onto their dragons.
"How far is Minas Tirith?" Pippin asks
"Three days ride as the Nazgûl flies." Gandalf says
"We better hope we don't have any of those on our tail." Luna says
"Devon, I suggest that you, Luna and your friends ride with me close to the ground. The Ringwraiths now ride Fell Beasts in the skies above Middle-Earth searching for Frodo and the Ring. We cannot let them turn their attention to us." Gandalf says
"Sure thing, Gandalf. We'll try and fly as low as possible to the ground." Devon says
Merry walks up and hands Pippin a small package.
"Here. Something for the road." Merry says
"The last of the Longbottom Leaf." Pippin says
"I know you've run out. You smoke too much, Pippin." Merry says
"But-but, we'll see each other soon...won't we?" Pippin says
"I don't know." Merry says
Gandalf climbs onto Shadowfax with Pippin infront of him.
"I don't know what's going to happen." Merry says
"Merry." Pippin says
"Run, Shadowfax. Show us the meaning of haste." Gandalf says
"Merry!" Pippin says
Shadowfax gallops off out of the stables and out into the open country. Devon and his friends move out of the stables and take-off into the air, flying close as they can to the ground, following Gandalf out into the wilderness as they began their journey to Minas Tirith.
Merry runs up to a lookout point to see them off. Aragorn follows Merry up the stairs and they watch as Devon and his friends ride out with Gandalf.
"He's always followed me, everywhere I went, since before we were twins. I would get him in the worst sort of trouble, but I was always there to get him out. Now, he's gone. Just like Frodo and Sam." Merry says
"One thing I've learned about Hobbits. They're most hardy folk." Aragorn says
"Foolhardy maybe. He's a Took." Merry says
Merry and Aragorn both smile and they continue to watch as the group moves out into the distance.
(Elsewhere)
In a forest somewhere in the wilderness, the Elves of Rivendell travel to the Grey Havens with Arwen riding on her white horse.
"Take her by the safest road. A ship lies anchored in the Grey Havens. It waits to carry her across the sea...the last journey of Arwen Undómiel."
Suddenly, Arwen sees a young boy run across her and into a part of the forest. The surrounding forest changes into a place made of grey stone. The boy runs over to an aged Aragorn who lifts him up in his arms, laughing and smiling. The boy then looks directly at Arwen, catching her by surprise. But what really surprised Arwen was what she saw around the boy's neck. It was her necklace, the Evenstar. It turned out this child was her son, Eldarion. Arwen looks on in sorrow and shuts her eyes as tears roll down her face. She then remembers what her father, Elrond had said before she departed.
"There is nothing for you here, only death."
Arwen opens her eyes again and saw that the vision she was seeing had disappeared.
"Lady Arwen, we cannot delay." A male Elf says
Arwen turns around and rides away.
"Milady!" The male Elf says
Arwen rides into Rivendell and head up to the pavilion where Elrond saw her running up to him, removing her cloak.
"Tell me what you have seen." Arwen says
"Arwen." Elrond says
"You have the gift of foresight. What did you see?" Arwen asks
"I looked into your future and I saw death." Elrond says
"But there is also life." Arwen says
Elrond turns away from Arwen and leans against the balcony.
"You saw there was a child. You saw my son." Arwen says
"That future is almost gone." Elrond says
"But it is not lost." Arwen says
"Nothing is certain." Elrond says
Arwen kneels down infront of Elrond and touches his face with her hand.
"Some things are certain. If I leave him now, I will regret it forever. It is time." Arwen says
(Flashback)
Before she had departed for the Grey Havens, Arwen walked into the chamber where the shards of Narsil were kept.
"From the ashes, a fire shall be woken. The light from the shadow shall spring. Renewed shall be blade that was broken. The crownless again shall be king." Arwen says
(Present Time)
"Reforge the sword. Ada." Arwen says
Elrond doesn't answer and walks away. Arwen sits on a bed as if she was exhausted and drops the book that was in her hands. Elrond picks it up and feels Arwen's hands.
"Your hands are cold." Elrond says
Elrond puts down the book and lowers down to Arwen, feeling her hands with his.
"The life of the Eldar is leaving you." Elrond says
"This was my choice. Ada, whether by your will or not, there is no ship that can bear me hence." Arwen says
Elrond commissions two Elven Blacksmiths to reforge the Sword of Elendil. One of the Elves hammers the shards of the blade with a hammer while the other holds broken sword down on an anvil.
(Elsewhere)
Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens continue their journey with Gandalf and Pippin to Minas Tirith through the wilderness. They travel day and night moving through forests and across the countryside.
"We've just passed into the realm of Gondor." Gandalf says
The group moves up on a hill and see the White City of Minas Tirith in the distance. Finally, after their three-day journey, their destination was in sight.
Minas Tirith was the Great City of Men. It was often referred to as the White City and the City of Kings. Minas Tirith stood several stories tall above the Fields of Pelennor with seven levels higher than the one below it, each surrounded by a white wall.
Devon and his friends were awe-struck by the sight of the White City.
"Minas Tirith, the City of Kings." Gandalf says
The group rides through the streets of the city as people jump out of the way infront of them. making their way to the top of the White City.
"Make way!" Gandalf says
After going from level to level in the White City, the group arrive in the Courtyard of the Citadel. Devon and the Viking Teens climb off their dragons as they follow Gandalf across the courtyard. As soon as they had arrived in the courtyard, Devon and his friends notice the White Tree of Gondor guarded by four Fountain Guards.
"It's the tree. Gandalf. Gandalf!" Pippin says
"Yes, the White Tree of Gondor. The tree of the king." Gandalf says
"So that's the White Tree." Devon says
"It's pretty." Luna says
"Lord Denethor, however, is not the king. He is a steward only, a caretaker to the throne." Gandalf says
Gandalf turns to Pippin, Devon and the others.
"Now listen carefully, all of you. Lord Denethor is Boromir's father. To give him news of his beloved son's death would be most unwise. And do not mention Frodo or the Ring. And say nothing of Aragorn either." Gandalf says
The doors open and the group enter the Hall of the Kings. The Hall of the Kings was a massive hall where statues of the previous Kings of Gondor stood. In the back was a tall throne while another was set lower beneath it. In the lower throne, sitting on a black chair was Denethor. Luna, Toothless, and the other dragons were able walk in with their riders as they met the steward of Gondor.
"Hail Denethor, son of Ecthelion, lord and steward of Gondor." Gandalf says
Denethor did not bother to look up at the group. Instead, he was looking down at something he held in his hands. Devon, Luna and Pippin saw that there was a troubled look on Denethor's face.
"We come with tidings in this dark hour and with counsel." Gandalf says
"Perhaps you come to explain this." Denethor says
Denethor holds up Boromir's cloven horn. Devon and his friends were shocked upon seeing Boromir's horn in Denethor's hands.
"Perhaps you come tell me why my son is dead." Denethor says
Gandalf looks in bewilderment. Devon and his friends remember seeing Boromir die after the fight between Devon, Aragorn and the Uruk-hai, Lurtz. Pippin also remembers what happened to Boromir in Amon Hen. A flashback plays in Pippin's mind of Boromir being wounded by the arrows that were shot into him.
"Boromir died to save us, my kinsman and me. He fell defending us from many foes." Pippin says
"Pippin!" Gandalf says
Pippin steps forward and kneels before Denethor.
"I offer you my service, such as it is, in payment of this debt." Pippin says
"This is my first command to you. How did you escape and my son did not, so mighty as a man he was?" Denethor asks
"The mightiest man may be slain with one arrow and Boromir was pierced by many." Pippin says
Denethor begins to sob and Gandalf steps forward.
"Get up." Gandalf says
Gandalf whacks Pippin with his staff, making him get up.
"My lord, there will be a time to grieve for Boromir, but it is not now. War is coming. The enemy is on your doorstep. As steward, you are in charge of defense of this city. Where are Gondor's armies? You still have friends. You are not alone in this fight. Send word to Théoden of Rohan. Light the beacons." Gandalf says
"You think you are wise, Mithrandir. Yet for all your subtleties you have not wisdom. Do you think the eyes of the White Tower are blind? I have seen more than you know. With your left hand you would use me as a shield against Mordor. And with your right you would seek to supplant me. I know who rides with Théoden of Rohan. Oh yes. Word has reached my ears of this Aragorn, son of Arathorn. And I tell you now, I will not bow to this Ranger from the North, last of a ragged house long bereft of lordship." Denethor says
"Authority is not given to you to deny the Return of the King, steward." Gandalf says
Denethor stands up and looks at the group with a sour look on his face.
"The rule of Gondor is mine and no others!" Denethor shouts
Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons look at Denethor with surprised looks on their faces. Gandalf regards him for a moment, then turns and walks away with the group. Denethor sits back down in his chair.
"All has turned to vain ambition. He would even use his grief as a cloak." Gandalf says
The guards open the doors for the group as they head out into the courtyard.
"A thousand years this city has stood. Now, at the whim of a madman, it will fall. And the White Tree, the tree of king will never bloom again." Gandalf says
"Why are they still guarding it?" Pippin asks
"Yeah, why is that?" Fishlegs asks
"They guard it because they have hope. A faint and fading hope that one day it will flower. That a king will come and the city will be as it once was before it fell into decay. The old wisdom borne out of the West was forsaken. Kings made tombs more splendid than the house of the living and counted the old names of their descent dearer than the names of their sons." Gandalf says
The group walks over to the edge of the wall with Gandalf as he continued to speak.
"Childless lords sat in aged halls, musing on heraldry or in high, cold towers asking questions of the stars. And so the people of Gondor fell into ruin. The line of kings failed. The White Tree withered. The rule of Gondor was given over to lesser men." Gandalf says
Pippin walks over towards the edge of the wall and sees dark clouds climbing over the mountains towards them. Devon and his friends also walk over to the wall and look out toward Mordor. Luna, Toothless, Spyro, Cynder, and Meatlug stand up on their hind legs and place their paws up against the wall to get a good view. All the dragons growled upon seeing the evil realm of Mordor up ahead of them.
"Mordor." Pippin says
"There it is." Devon says
"Yes. There it lies. This city has dwelt ever in the sight of it's shadow." Gandalf says
"It looks like a storm is coming." Luna says
"This is not the weather of the world. This is a device of Sauron's making. A broil of fume he sends ahead of his host. The Orcs of Mordor have no love of daylight, so he covers the face of the sun to ease their passage along the road to war. When the shadow of Mordor reaches this city, it will begin." Gandalf says
"Well, Minas Tirith." Pippin says
Pippin turns and looks at Gandalf.
"Very impressive. So where are we off to next?' Pippin says
"Oh, it's too late for that, Peregrin. There's no leaving this city. Help must come to us." Gandalf says
Devon and Luna look at each other and their friends. Then, they look back towards Mordor, watching the clouds flash with lightning that emitted an ominous dark red light.
(Elsewhere)
Frodo and Sam follow Gollum through a forest.
"It must be getting near teatime. Leastways, it would be in decent places where there is still teatime." Sam says
"We're not in decent places." Gollum says
As they continued moving through the forest, Frodo suddenly stops. Sam turns around taking notice.
"Mr. Frodo? What is it?" Sam asks
"It's just a feeling. I don't think I'll be coming back." Frodo says
"Yes, you will. Of course you will. That's just morbid thinking. We're going there and back again just like Mr. Bilbo. You'll see." Sam says
The two Hobbits continue to walk again and they pass a large statue who's head had been removed and replaced with a large rock with a cage-like thing over it.
"I think these lands were once part of the kingdom of Gondor. Long ago, when there was a king." Frodo says
They walk past the original head of the statue. As they do, the sun begins to peer out from the clouds, lighting up the area. The two Hobbits turn around and look at the head of the statue lying on the ground. The head had flowers blooming ontop of it, appearing like a crown.
"Mr. Frodo, look. The king's got a crown again." Sam says
The two Hobbits smile upon seeing the crown of flowers on the statue's original head. Then, the sun disappears behind the clouds.
"Come on, Hobbits! Mustn't stop now! This way!" Gollum says
(Minas Tirith)
It was now night time in the White City. Gandalf, Pippin, Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons stood in a room together. Gandalf stood near the balcony of the room smoking on his pipe while Pippin looked over his armor that was given to him on a bed. Devon sat on the bed next to Pippin with Luna on his right, rubbing his hand on her head. Spyro and Cynder sat on their haunches near the balcony. Hiccup and the Viking Teens sat on wooden chairs with Toothless and their dragons resting alongside them.
"So I imagine this is just a ceremonial position. I mean, they don't actually expect me to do any fighting, do they?" Pippin says
"You're in the service of the steward now. You'll have to do as you are told, Peregrin Took." Gandalf says
Gandalf continues to cough. Pippin pours water from a silver jug into a silver cup and walks over to Gandalf.
"Ridiculous Hobbit. Guard of the Citadel." Gandalf says
Pippin hands Gandalf the cup of water.
"Thank you." Gandalf says
Gandalf drinks from the cup and Pippin leans against the balcony. Devon stands up from the bed and approaches the balcony with Luna following him. They both look up at the night sky and don't see any stars.
"There's no more stars." Devon says
"Is it time?" Luna asks
"Yes." Gandalf says
"It's so quiet." Pippin says
"It is the deep breath before the plunge." Gandalf says
"I don't want to be in a battle, but waiting on the edge of one I can't escape is even worse." Pippin says
Gandalf walks over to Pippin and stands next to him on his right.
"Is there any hope, Gandalf, for Frodo and Sam?" Pippin asks
"There never was much hope. Just a fool's hope." Gandalf says
The group looks out towards Mordor.
"Our enemy is ready. His full strength gathered. Not only Orcs, but Men as well. Legions of Haradrim from the South. Mercenaries from the coast. All will answer Mordor's call." Gandalf says
"And let's not forget about the Heartless and Lord Thanatos. I'm sure they will take part in this war." Devon says
"This will be the end of Gondor as we know it. Here the hammer stroke will fall hardest." Gandalf says
The group looks over towards Osgiliath as it stood near the river of Anduin.
"If the river is taken, if the garrison at Osgiliath falls, the last defense of this city will be gone." Gandalf says
"But we have the White Wizard, a Keyblade Wielder, and eight dragons. That's got to count for something." Pippin says
Gandalf smiles and turns his attention back toward Mordor
"Gandalf?" Pippin says concerned
Gandalf looks towards Mordor with a tense look on his face.
(Elsewhere)
One of the Ringwraiths stood in a room surrounded by weapons and armor in a fortress not far from Minas Tirith. The Orcs that were stationed there began putting on his armor.
"Sauron has yet to reveal his deadliest servant. The one who will lead Mordor's armies in war. The one they say no living man can kill." Gandalf says
One of the Orcs places a helmet upon the Ringwraith's head. The helmet was crowned with spikes and had two eye holes on it. This Ringwraith was none other than the Witch-King of Angmar.
(Minas Tirith)
"The Witch-King of Angmar." Gandalf says
Gandalf looks over at Pippin, Devon and Luna.
"You've all met him before. He stabbed Frodo on Weathertop." Gandalf says
Pippin, Devon and Luna have a flashback of the events that took place on Weathertop when they began their journey. Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons heard Gandalf mention the Witch-King of Angmar and they too remember what happened back on Weathertop. They remember well how the Witch-King stabbed Frodo with a Morgul Blade.
"He is the Lord of the Nazgûl. The Greatest of the Nine. Minas Morgul is his lair." Gandalf says
(Minas Morgul)
Frodo, Sam and Gollum arrive at Minas Morgul. Minas Morgul was a city of evil. Darkness and shadow enveloped the Dead City housing dozens of Sauron's forces. It was here that the Witch-King of Angmar and the Orcs of Mordor were stationed.
"The Dead City. Very nasty place. Full of enemies." Gollum says
The trio moves away from Minas Morgul and toward the mountainside.
"Quick. Quick! They will see. They will see!" Gollum says
Frodo stares at the statues guarding the city.
"Come away. Come away. Look. We have found it. The way into Mordor. The secret stair." Gollum says
The two Hobbits stare in shock at the steep stairs climbing the cliff face infront of them going several feet up.
"Climb." Gollum says
Frodo turns toward Minas Morgul and begins to walk toward it as if it was calling out to him.
"No! Mr. Frodo!" Sam says
"Not that way!" Gollum says
Sam and Gollum chase after Frodo.
"What's it doing?" Gollum asks
"No!" Sam says
"They're calling me." Frodo says
"No!" Gollum says
Sam and Gollum grab Frodo by his arms and pull him back to the hidden staircase. Suddenly, a large pillar of dark blue light erupts from Minas Morgul, shooting up into the sky.
"Hide! Hide!" Gollum shouts
The trio quickly clamber behind a rock wall at the base of the stairs.
(Minas Tirith)
Gandalf, Pippin, Devon, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons also see the large pillar of darkness beaming from Minas Morgul.
(Osgiliath)
The soldiers of Gondor stationed at Osgiliath also notice the large pillar of darkness beaming from Minas Morgul.
(Minas Tirith)
Devon and Luna look toward each other with concerned looks on their faces, then look back at the pillar of darkness. Spyro and Cynder also share a look of concern toward each other, then they both look back toward the dark pillar. The Viking Teens share concerned looks with each other and their dragons, then they all look back at the evil dark pillar. Gandalf looks down at Pippin and saw he was nervous. He places his left-hand on his right-shoulder
(Minas Morgul)
The pillar of darkness soon dims down. Then, Lord Thanatos riding Ragnarok and the Witch-King riding his Fell Beast perch up on the wall of Minas Morgul. The Witch-King lets out a long, loud, ear-piercing shriek which made the trio cover their ears and writhe in pain.
"I can feel his blade." Frodo says clutching his shoulder
Ragnarok lets out a loud, echoing roar and the gates of Minas Morgul opens up. A large army of Orcs and Heartless of different kinds all march out of Minas Morgul and begin their march on the path toward Minas Tirith.
(Minas Tirith)
"We come to it at last. The great battle of our time." Gandalf says
Devon and his friends look toward Gandalf, then look back toward Minas Morgul where the pillar of darkness originated.
(Minas Morgul)
Lord Thanatos and the Witch-King take flight on their beasts and they fly over the Orcs and Heartless.
"Come away, Hobbits. We climb. We must climb." Smeagol says
Frodo, Sam, and Gollum began climbing up the mountainside, going up the secret stairs.
(Minas Tirith)
"The board is set. The pieces are moving." Gandalf says
"I guess it's time then." Devon says
"Yes, my friends. It is time." Gandalf says
(Minas Morgul)
"Up, up, up the stairs we go. And then, it's into the tunnel." Gollum says
"Hey, what's in this tunnel?" Sam asks
Gollum tries to climb away from Sam, but he grabs him and pins him against the rock wall.
"You listen to me and you listen good and proper. Anything happens to him, you'll have me to answer to. One sniff something's not right, one hair stands up in the back of my head and it's over. No more slinker. No more stinker. You're gone. Got it? I'm watching you." Sam says
Sam lets go of Gollum and climbs up to where Frodo was.
"What was that about?" Frodo asks
"Nothing. Just clearing something up." Sam says
An evil grin forms on Gollum's face and he climbs up the stairs with the two Hobbits.
Author's Note: Pippin looks into the Palantir that the group retrieved from Saruman's body and sees Sauron and Lord Thanatos' plot. They both intend to attack Minas Tirith. Knowing what they must do now, Devon and his friends journey to Minas Tirith with Gandalf and Pippin to warn them of the coming danger. Unfortunately, their warning falls on deaf ears by the steward Denethor. Lord Thanatos and the Witch-King of Angmar are ready and head out with their army of Orcs and Heartless to launch an unforgiving assault on Minas Tirith. With time running out, Gandalf, Pippin, Devon and his friends must get Rohan to come to them. But how will they do it? Let me know what you guys think. No flames please.
