Anyway if anyone has any questions about the story or my future stories or anything of the above I am happy to answer them.

Caroline POV

I really didn't think this could get any worse, I mean being the supernatural being and having all that responsibility was one thing and then ghosts haunting her was just a living nightmare and now I am stuck in this circle facing everyone I wish I was truly with. Not by magic, not by phone or letters but by touch.

Hope was playing opposite her with Rebekah, it had been hours since Davina had gone to find a life source to take back to the other side with her but there was only so many times they could keep this circle firmly around her from Adeline Crimthorn; the witch bitch. Hope crawled over to her with a smile on her face but her smile faded to confusion when the barrier stopped her getting any closer.

"It's okay baby girl." Caroline said positively but with sad eyes. "Mommy's just playing a little game." Hope somehow understood and crawled back to her play matt. Rebekah looked at her sadly as a tear slipped down her cheek.

"It's going to be okay Caroline." Rebekah said firmly as if she had no choice in thinking otherwise. "We're going to fix this and find a loop whole and if nothing comes up in the grimoire's then you will just have to come back and suffer the bloody consequences, like it or not you're stuck with me."

"You know I think I prefer it over here, it's less hostile." Caroline laughed. "I don't miss you and your commands at all, it's been nice." Caroline shrugged.

"Have it your way then Forbes." Rebekah giggled.

Just then Damon and Stefan came in with just what she needed; Pizza. "We're back." Stefan smiled.

"Pepperoni pizza and…" Damon said bringing out a tub of Ben and Jerrys cookie dough ice cream like he was in a west end musical with jazz hands. "I figured you would want some Blondie, it's your favourite right?"

Gimme gimme gimme! Yeah how did you know it was my favourite?" Only one person knew what her favourite ice cream was and always bought her a tub when she was feeling low.

Damon tapped his nose. "Tricks of the trade Care bear." He then passed her the Pizza where she sat cross legged rubbing her obvious oval tummy where her child was growing.

"Oh my god, thank you! We have been so hungry…" Caroline rubbed her belly. "Say thank you Uncle Damon and Stefan." Caroline said sincerely sweetly to her baby. Everyone smiled at the gesture but it was soon over as Caroline stuffed her face with Pizza.

"Where's Klaus?" Stefan asked.

"He's gone to find Vincent." Rebekah said while Caroline passed Hope the smallest piece of pizza as the toddler was drooling at her.

"Well if I'm going to be stuck in this circle for who knows how long, might as well make the most of it." Caroline said through Pizza.

"Hey Miss Mystic falls ever heard of eating with your mouth closed?" Damon commented.

"Hey Jack ass ever heard of not judging a pregnant powerless lady on the other side with crazy witches poaching for her head?"

Damon just nodded with his 'Not bad come back' look.

"So what is this Adeline like?" Stefan asked.

"She's freaky! Like next level loopdeloop. Like Fiona Goode Asylum American Horror Story CREEPY and all her riddles and curses and weird voodoo mascots." Caroline's eyes came to a mad realisation that made everyone cringe wondering what she was going to say until finally… "If I had to describe what it was like on the other side I would say that I'M like a CHARACTER from CABIN IN THE WOODS and she's some bat-shit mad hag out to feed on my flesh and peel me alive to get my soul and wreck it up into little pieces so I don't exist." Caroline said it like it was plain as day to faces painted in despair.

No one seemed to notice that Klaus had entered at that description of what it was like across on the other side alongside Vincent.

"You're not going back there, love." Klaus said sharply with eyes like steel.

No one seemed able to argue with Klaus about this from what Caroline description of Adeline accept of course…Caroline.

"What about Bonnie? And Kol?"

"Caroline you're Pregnant with our child; do you really expect me to let you go ahead with this?" Klaus demanded, by this time Caroline was standing up completely serious.

"Do you not think I know that? We can't just give up Klaus; it's my first attempt Davina is going to find a life source and then it will be fine and I'll get rid of the hag." Caroline said matter-of-factly.

"Caroline, you can't put yourself at risk if it's that bad. You never mentioned there was a coven." Rebekah said shocking Caroline.

"Are you serious?" Caroline looked at all the concerned faces. "Well I never thought I'd see the day you were all team Klaus" Caroline half laughed. "Vincent, what do you think?"

"How many of the ancestors are after you?" Vincent quizzed before he gave his opinion.

Caroline didn't immediately answer as she didn't want everyone to think she was entirely crazy.

"Care?" Stefan pushed for an answer.

"Hey, where's Elena gone?" Caroline tired changing the conversation only to be faced with…

"Caroline!" From all of them simultaneously but Vincent who smirked.

"Okay! There was about undrgh" Caroline murmured.

"Caroline I swear to god if you don't tell me I'm coming over there myself!" Klaus shouted.

"Stop shouting in front of Hope." Caroline said calmly but with heated eyes.

Stefan then took that opportunity to pick Hope up and take her upstairs and received a nod from Klaus in thanks.

"Okay care bear, I think its best you just spit it out." Damon said smirking.

"About 70…maybe 80…possibly 90…" Klaus was glaring daggers into her. "And you want to risk our child for this?"

Caroline skipped the sarcasm she was thinking of coming back with but went with plain and simple that hit him right to the core. "Not really Klaus, I would rather be painting his room" Caroline rubbed her belly. "Going out for coffee with my friends and spending days on end with you and Hope but I can't because there's this thing called loyalty. I am staying here. At least until there are no other options, I don't give up at the first hurdle and I certainly don't shy away from a fight. Before you say anything about our child, Klaus; I don't want him thinking loyalty isn't important because it is and that is exactly why I am here. To get rid of any threats towards him and anyone in New Orleans and bring our friends and family to safety. You know what? I would do this for anyone, in fact if someone asked me to do this who desperately needed this like you need Kol. I would. It's who I am, if you don't like it then maybe you need to think things through because you will not demand me to do anything and you will not control me." Caroline said clearly and confidently.

"So Vincent." Caroline addressed. "What dilemma are we looking at?"

Klaus speeded of to cool off and went upstairs out of the court yard.

"Well you have a hell of a lot of witches on your ass so you have three options." Vincent said unsteadily and laughed. "You're one brave woman Caroline…Okay so you could stay on the other side with a life source that would need to be used sparingly, option two is you come back here and we deal with the witches from the outside in then reproach the situation (not that I need another original vamp around here)" Damon smirked at that with a look that said 'I know that feeling' and patted his shoulder receiving a smug look from Vincent. "Lastly, you come back home and you let them lie. I know the Bennett witch isn't dead but a prison world is a whole new situation that we could solve."

There was a long silence that cut skin.

"What can I do? This is my child's Uncle we're talking about."

"Erm, What about Uncle Damon? I'm so fun! " Damon exclaimed.

It was then that Klaus made his presence known from the balcony with Hope in his arms and Stefan beside him. "I like option two."

"So do I, Care. You can do your research then." Stefan said.

"I can do my research here in this circle too." Caroline defended.

"The spell only lasts 24 hours honey." Rebekah said. (Adopting Caroline's way of speaking) "We can only do the spell so many times as well before you suggest it."

Caroline was silent for a minute before speaking again. "I need to speak to Davina before I make any decisions."

Vincent nodded and began to leave before Caroline thanked him with sincerity, only to be left with worried pressuring faces.

"Seriously though, where is Elena?" Caroline asked receiving a smirk from a certain Salvatore a glare from a certain blonde and a scream from a certain hybrid.
