Snape sat in his office, contemplating whether or not something was going on. He looked at the penseive, wondering...is she being abused? He remembered being abused as a child. It was mind shuttering. He knew he hadn't even gotten the worst it could have been.

A soft knock on the door; he walked briskly to the door. Dumbledore stood there, "No." Snape said, "We have to check!" He started, "I'm going to check...for Lily...for Lily's sake!" Dumbledore said, "Bring Harry and Draco with you...and Lupin." Snape said, "Yes, yes..." He left the room; he went to pick up Draco.

Sidney was slammed into the wall with great force. She felt something inside of her; she dropped to the ground, and threw up. Vernon said, "You better have a good excuse!" She said, "I- I think I'm pregnant..." Vernon gasped; he wanted to do that, yes, but he didn't think it actually would.

She was fat. Sidney was fat. She felt something kick. Vernon let her eat. He was a little bit nicer around her throat and stomach.

He slapped her across the face, "Clean that up!"

Snape hesitated at the door. What if Sidney was being abused? He took in a breath and made himself turn invisible. The three others smiled and Lupin told Draco and Harry to hide behind the bushes. Lupin turned invisible and they went into the place.

When Snape saw Sidney, he gasped. She looked a little overfed. He heard Lupin sniffing, muttering, "Blood..." Snape growled underneath his breath; he hated Lupin. Vernon came into the picture; the old muggle stood over Sidney by a lot. The man saw what she was doing; she was writing something down.

Vernon took the paper from her and read it through. He turned bright red; "WHAT THE DEVIL IS THIS?!" He raised a hand and Sidney winced. She fell off the chair; he grinned, "Now...to your cupboard. No more writing or reading!" Snape wanted to attack the muggle man, but he watched Sidney's sad face as she rubbed her stomach. She left view. Vernon laughed, "Stupid freak..."

Sidney didn't even flinch at the name; she was used to it. Lupin said, "I can hear more than two heartbeats in the room...I can hear four." Snape looked back and then remembered they were invisible.

Sidney's eyes brimmed with tears as she thought about what Vernon would do to her and the babies. She didn't want anything to happen to them; they were her babies. She heard the lock of the cupboard slide into place; she was in trouble.

She heard a knock on the door; she heard a familiar voice say, "Mr. Dursley?" The sound of the wooden door opening. Dursley's voice, "What do you want?" Sidney let out a shaky breath; she was too scared to even get closer to the cupboard door. She hugged her stomach a little bit.

She knew something was going to happen. She heard Snape say, "We've come to see Sidney." Dursley said, "She's with some friends." Sidney's eyes closed; tears slid over her cheeks. She wanted very badly to yell I'm here, don't listen to him! But she couldn't; she was too scared. She hoped for silence. She hoped Snape would leave.

Snape's voice said, "Then you wouldn't mind if we came inside." She sucked in a breath; she was too scared! Her eyes were tightly shut. She pressed her back against the wall; she hoped for nothing to come near her. Immediately she saw the light of the hallway pour in. She tried even harder to get away; Snape gasped at the tears on her face.

Snape remembered seeing this face once in Sidney's first year; she'd woken from a bad dream and thought she was still in it for a few moments. Sidney's stomach was too large for it to be food. He had a bad feeling it was worse than that. She cringed away from him; he had moved to touch her. He murmured, "Sidney...it's alright. I'm here..." Lupin saw the child as she was pulled out of the cupboard.

Sidney looked at Lupin and her eyes widened. She muttered, "I know you..." Her eyes narrowed, "You are were-y-" Lupin smiled, "How do you remember me? You were 1 year old when you started calling me that." She reached out for her long lost friend; Lupin smiled sheepishly. He said, "Come on." Snape looked at him, eyes narrowed. Sidney started to smile at Lupin, so Snape finally had to give her to Lupin.

Snape stared at her; she looked so much like her mother when she was pregnant. He remembered when he'd visited the Potters;

Snape held the knob and came in. When he saw Lily, he noticed the lump on her stomach. Lily smiled at him, "Sev!" He smiled softly.

That was when it came to his mind; she looked like her mother...when she was pregnant! Severus gasped and ran to get Harry and Draco. Then they all apparated, or along side apparated, to Hogsmeade.
