Sequel to chapter 37, Were. All hail Sherrilyn Kenyon!

Mate

"Ready?" he asked in his deep, seductive timbre that made sparks skitter across the skin of her neck and shoulders. Oh her mate had such a voice and it is all hers.

Levy squeezed the hand engulfing hers, lining up their marks made up of Greek letters, circles, triangles and the head of a roaring dragon. Inhaling deeply, she shook off her nerves as they trotted around the large white curtain to the reception for their wedding day. The entire ball room is decorated in party lights hung all over the walls and ceiling with blue and black ribbons tied into bows every couple feet. Tables of their guests filled up the room, most of them originally Gajeel's friends and family that are now hers. Considering she is an orphan, Levy treasured family and to find out she had hundreds of people there for her brought tears to her eyes. Family forever.

"I give you Mr. and Mrs. Redfox!" a very dressed up Natsu announced from the sound stage, a giant fang filled grin splitting his face with glee.

Now I gotta cut loose, footloose

The catchy beat to the infamous dancing song pumped through Levy's blood as her mate tugged her into a trot, jerking her into twirl after twirl down the aisle leading to the wood dancefloor. He picked her up effortlessly, raising her high and keeping her hand encased in his as they danced in synch to Kenny Loggins' song.

Their choreographed wedding dance made everyone cut up laughing, as Gajeel turned the mic on his chin to hook up wirelessly to the sound system behind his cousin, Natsu.

Yeah oooh ohh!

Shooby!

Yeah! Ooooh oh!

Doo bop!

His mate's shining brown eyes, her glittering blue hair, it all seemed to sparkle thanks to her golden dancing dress with the same design as her wedding one. They cut up a rug on the dance floor, raising the bar as he pulled Levy into his arms only to toss her up into the air. She spun at least seven fast rotations before falling back into his arms and he dipped her back, nuzzling her nose.

"You got your song, short stuff," he murmured against her lips as he pulled them out of the dip only to set off another two twirls in quick succession.

"Only took you two months!" his mate playfully chided as she caught her breath, her cheeks flushing in the most enticing and sexy way possible. Just seeing her shapely legs flash in and out of her short dancing skirt made him want to zap them to their honeymoon home all the earlier. As if reading his thoughts, Levy shook her head and let go of his hand, starting their split up dance routine.

"Later," she promised, skipping three steps to the right. He followed her with a perverted grin, long hair thrown over his shoulder.

"Now," he demanded with a lust filled growl, shutting off his mic for a few seconds.

Improvising her mini solo dance, Levy jerked up her skirts in a quick can can flash, tossing her skirts up to show him some inner thigh. His mouth is already watering, he can smell her damp scent already.

"Guests first, then honeymoon."

Fine, later. In the finale of their routine, Gajeel grabbed the mike from Natsu and bellowed the chorus of Footloose again, waving the crowd in to dance while spinning his tux suit in the air. Lucy tugged her pink haired mate down from the stage and Levy almost couldn't breathe, Natsu's dancing was so bad. His butt kept wiggling and his hands punched the air like some martial arts master. Who does that?

She sensed her dragon by her side and she turned to him, breathing heavily but with no less a big smile on her face. Just three months ago she was an ordinary librarian with a dead end career as an archivist, getting her joy from watering cacti and reading publishing magazines. Now she has a six hundred year old man-dragon who is the love of her life and who will spend the rest of their eternity together. So far his enemies from the Phantom club have not reared their heads to bully her mate, but Levy doesn't care. If they even try to show up and ruin her wedding day, she will open her own can of whoop ass that even her Black Dragon would fear.

As Gajeel picked her up to wrap her legs around his chest in their finishing move, she knows she could never trade him. Never choose another dragon, or man for that matter. The Were world is her home now.

Jerking the mike from the dragon's hands, a punk looking girl with a pink and black coffin shaped purse on her arm finished their song.

Everybody cut footloose!

Everyone burst into cheer as the song finished with Simi's grand flourish and Levy felt so happy, so giddy that she jerked her mate's head down to her for a hyped up kiss filled with love and happiness.

Gajeel's red eyes flashed with intensity, his pierced brows raised with expectation once they parted, "Now?"

She rolled her eyes as he lowered her gently to the floor. Catching a breathless Lucy's hand, Levy tugged them towards the wedding cake and presents.

"Alright, cake then guests then honeymoon. Geehee?"

A resounding purr was her answer, "Geehee!"
