Both Yuina and Tokiya were distracted by the sound of sniffles. They turned towards a corner and could see some red hair sticking out.

"Alright, if you guys are there, you better come out," Tokiya ordered.

Otoya sheepishly poked his head out from around the corner and gave Tokiya and Yuina a bashful smile.

"Uh hi," he said.

"I said all of you come out!" Tokiya said sternly.

At that Syo and Natsuki both poked their heads out. Natsuki was still teary eyed.

"You don't have to make it seem like we're doing something wrong," said Syo.

"Eavesdropping isn't the best habits to have," said Tokiya.

"True but," Ren said as he pushed Otoya, Syo and Natsuki away from the wall.

"When we heard you were talking about what happened to Haruka, wet figured it was the best time to learn the truth," Masato finished as he followed out as well.

"Hmm," Tokiya muttered, "so, now that you know, what do you plan to do about it?"

"Uh, well, I'm not sure," said Otoya.

"I supposed in hindsight, it would be cruel to make you have to suffer more than you have by finishing that song and then having it performed all over," said Masato.

"Right," said Tokiya.

"So, I guess all that work really was for nothing," said Ren, "we'll have to find another way to honor the lady."

"Was that really necessary?" Yuina hissed mad.

"Anyway, we should do what we came here, to see how Rui-Chan is doing," said Natsuki.

"Yeah, is Rui going to be okay?" Otoya asked.

"Yeah, she'll be fine. She just needs to stay an extra night for observation," said Tokiya. He nodded towards her door. "You can go see her."

"Yay, I got lots of cute things for her to enjoy!" Natsuki said as he ran into the room.

"Calm down will you?" Syo called out after him, following close behind.

"I hope the kids aren't too disappointed over not being able to finish their mother's song either," Ren said as he too walked towards the room, "or that Cecil's too upset over coming back for no reason after all."

"Is he doing this on purpose?!" Yuina snapped.

"Most likely, knowing him," said Masato.

"So that's the real reason Cecil's returning?" Tokiya asked as he leaned against a wall, "he's coming for the song?"

"Kind of," Otoya admitted.

Tokiya sighed again.

"Don't worry, we'll handle him," Masato promised.

"Yes, but it still doesn't change anything. That song still seems to be causing nothing but trouble!" Tokiya said. He turned and started to walk away.

"Mr. Ichinose, where are you going?" Yuina asked.

"I just need, I need to think a little," said Tokiya as he kept walking, "I'll be back. I'm still spending the night with Rui after all."

"Do you think he's really okay?" Otoya asked.

"Those old wounds really seem to have hurt him, so who knows," said Masato.

"I'm going after him!" Yuina declared, "I can't help but worry about him. Can I have your word one of you can stay with all of the children until I return?"

"Uh sure," Otoya said, right before Yuina took off after her boss, as fast as she could. Both he and Masato watched as she practically ran after Tokiya.

"So does this mean Tokiya won again?" Otoya asked, trying to hide his disappointment.

"That may still remains to be seen," said Masato.

"Mr. Ichinose!" Yuina shouted as she chased her boss through the hospital. He either didn't hear her or was choosing to ignore her, up until they both came to the entrance. Tokiya walked right out and headed to the parking garage. Yuina tried her best to keep up, until she found him lookingaround the garage in frustration.

"Mr. Ichinose?" Yuina asked as she walked up behind him.

"Where's your car?" Tokiya asked immediately.

"What?" Yuina asked.

"Where's your car? You can either give me your keys or take me home yourself. Either way, I got to get to my house!" Tokiya said.

"Okay, okay I'll take you home real fast," said Yuina pulling out her keys and leading Tokiya to her car.

The two drove on in silence. Until Yuina decidea to break the silence by asking a question, "sir, was there something you needed at the house?"

"Hmm," was all Tokiya would reply.

"Will this take long?" Yuina asked.

"I don't know," Tokiya replied.

Yuina bit her lips. 'I hope nothing crazy's going to happen,' she thought.

When they finally arrived at the house, Tokiya didn't wait for Yuina as he quickly headed in by himself.

'What's he doing?" Yuina asked herself as she ran in as well. "Mr. Ichinose?" she shouted as she came running in, only to see Tokiya coming out of his office holding a few pieces of paper in his hand.

"Sir, what is that?" Yuina tried to ask. Tokiya however surprised her even more by opening the door to the music room and storming in.

"That's not...," Yuina tried to say as she followed. There she saw Tokiya taking a seat at the piano.

"Sir here," he suddenly ordered, pointing to the spot on the piano bench next to him.

"You want me to sit next to you?" Yuina asked.

"Yes, do it now!" Tokiya said forcefully.

"Okay," Yuina said, quickly doing as she was told.

"Play this," Tokiya ordered pointing to the sheet music.

"You want me to play it?!" Yuina asked in surprise.

"Yes, do it now," Tokiya said, "hurry, before I change my mind!"

"Uh okay," said Yuina. She gently started to play the score as best she could. As she did played the start, she noticed Tokiya looking really down. It almost made her stop.

"Keep going, until the end," Tokiya suddenly said, as if reading her mind.

"Right, yes sir," said Yuina. She soon came to the parts she and Kazu had first added together.

"Play that again," Tokiya said suddenly.

"This part?" Yuina asked, playing her and Kazu's part again.

"Yes, play it again," Tokiya said. Yuina did as she was told. "Who added that part?" he asked once she finished.

"Um, well, Kazu and I sort of added it together. I had just played something at random to play along with the part your wife first wrote and Kazu helped me write it down," Yuina explained.

"Hmm," Tokiya said, "please, continue."

"Right, yes sir," said Yuina. She played on and on until she finished the last part Natsuki had added just the day before. Then she stopped and looked towards Tokiya who was still sitting next to her. He was focused on the score on itself, not making any kind of noise.

"You know, I don't think Haruka had this melody quite in mind when she first started this," he said at last.

"Oh," said Yuina, "then I guess this is all just a waist of time." She was about to reach over and grab the sheet music, when Tokiya grabbed her hand first.

"But," he said, "I could see her making something very similar. It's just that good."

"You think so?" Yuina asked, "so does this mean you like it?"

"Yes, I actually do like it," said Tokiya.

Yuina was shocked to hear that from the same man who had told her not too long ago, the same music had led to his beloved wife's death. "But, sir, don't forget, this song is what killed her, killed your wife."

"I know, that part at the beginning still stings," Tokiya said, "but," he reached out and gently glide his fingers across the paper, "this song, this song is a special gift. It's wonderful and it still feels like it's Haruka trying to reach out to us from beyond." He sighed, "I'm confused, how can something be so wonderful and hurtful at the same time?"

"Sometimes that's just how life works. You have to take good with bad, and know which one is going to usually win," Yuina said softly.

"How is it you usually seem to have something so silly but true to say?" Tokiya asked.

"When you're sick a lot, you usually only have a lot of alone time to think and ponder stuff," said Yuina.

Tokiya actually chuckled at that comment.

"I supposed," he said as he stood up from the piano bench. He walked over to the two big windows and looked out.

"Sir?" Yuina said as she watched him. He didn't respond to her voice. "Sir, what does this mean exactly?"

"I don't know for sure. more conflicted than ever before," he said. Yuina felt something tug at her heart. She was feeling a huge sense of wanting to comfort the man, so she slowly got up and walked over to him, and gently wrapped her arms around him.

"If you don't want it finished, or maybe we can it again when maybe you're more ready for it," she told him softly."

Tokiya looked at her, "you think those guys and the children would be willing to be that patient?" he asked.

"I am, I don't think it'd be right for you to have to suffer more than you have," said Yuina, "and I'll stand by your side in this the whole way."

"You're willing to make enemies with the guys and the children? Because you know they won't be too happy with you if you side with me over not letting the song get finished," Tokiya pointed out.

"It'll be worth it, if I feel it's right," said Yuina. She suddenly felt Tokiya's hand wrapping around her waist.

"You really believe that?" he asked, pulling her closer.

Yuina had to do her best not to let herself panic over the closeness between the two of them.

"Yes sir," she maintain.

"Even though you put so much work into this too?" Tokiya pointed out.

"It's not like I was a professional composer like your wife. This was my first time even trying it," said Yuina.

"Still, it was good work," said Tokiya, pulling her closer, "tell me, despite my feelings or the feelings of the others, do you want to see this song finished? Do you want to share this with the world?"

Yuina had to think a little bit about it. The melody, the way it flew, the warm feeling it gave her when she or Kazu played it. "Yes, if there was no complaints, I'd love to see that song finished and shared with the world!"

Tokiya smiled at her.

"I guess then, even if I don't get involved with this, I can't keep it back. I have to let it out," he said.

"Are you really going to be okay with that sir?" Yuina asked.

"Yes," Tokiya said, "I'll be just fine with it, especially if I have you to help me through the bad." As he said that, Yuina noticed he was about to lean in close to her.

"Tokiya!" the two suddenly heard Otoya shouting, "Yuina, are you two here?"

Suddenly he appeared in the doorway to the music room and found Tokiya and Yuina in their comprising position. "Uh, what's going on here?" he asked.

"What do you want?" Tokiya asked.

"I uh, I was getting worried about you and when I realized Miss Kyouou's car was gone I figured she took you home or something. I just wanted to let you know, I'm willing to take the fall for the kids by telling them it was our idea to stop working on the song. You know, so we don't have a repeat of Kazu's anger at Masato's house," said Otoya.

"I appreciate that but it's not necessary," Tokiya said as he walked to the door, "I've decided to let you finish it."

"You have?" Otoya asked surprised.

"Yes, I've had a slight change of heart. Why don't you go back to the hospital and tell the guys yourself. Miss Kyouou and I will follow shortly after."

"Uh, sure?" Otoya said.

"Yes, good-bye now," Tokiya said as he shut the door in Otoya's face.

"But," Otoya tried to say as the shut with a bang. "Damn, looks like did win after all, again."

"Uh Mr. Ichinose," Yuina said as she watched Tokiya shut the door in Otoya's face and walked back to her. "Sir, shouldn't we be getting back to the hospital?" She tried walking to the door, only to be stopped by Tokiya.

"There's no rush, we have a few minutes to spare," said Tokiya.

"For what exactly?" Yuina asked, not sure if she was ready for the what was coming next.

"For this," Tokiya said as he once again pulled towards him, and this time actually kissing her.
