They were all waiting for him to explain. The whole court was looking his way, the judge, ushers, jury and public gallery, all eyes were on him. Including Darrel's, he foolishly looked up and made eye contact with Darrel. He didn't look at all remorseful. He still held that air of you-can't-touch-me about him. It made his skin crawl. He couldn't draw his eyes from Darrel, the more he looked his way the harder it felt to look away. It was like looking a car crash about to happen. You know it's awful to watch but you can't help but look. That's how he felt now. His head was screaming at him to look away, back to the jury or the judge but he just couldn't. He could feel the walls beginning to slowly close in on him and warp out of shape.

Aaron screwed his eyes shut, willing himself not to lose it now. Not now in court of all places. He tried to remember what Paddy had told him to, 'breathe, take it easy.' So that's what he tried to do.

"Mr. Livesy?" The judge called for the third time, snapping him from his reverie.

Aaron cleared his throat. "Sorry." He said, he had no idea what he was supposed to be answering to or saying.

"Mr. Livesy, you were then explaining to us you version of events by the road side." The judge prompted, looking rather irritated.

"Er. . . yeah sorry." Aaron mumbled before composing himself a bit better. "He kept pushing me. Tried to force me to . . ." Come on Aaron you can say it, he said to himself. 'Cause hell, if he wanted him locked up he was going to have to. ". . . He tried to force me to have sex with him." There he said. "Kept pushing me down and tearing at my clothes." Now he was saying it he couldn't stop himself, the words were just tumbling out of his mouth. He'd not even said this to much to Jackson or the police. "I didn't think he was going to stop- I actually thought he was going to. . ."

"It's okay Mr. Livesy." The judge assured him. He needn't carry on if he didn't feel like he could.

Darrel's lawyer cleared her throat. Obviously Aaron's admition hadn't gone down to well with her. "If I could continue please ma'm." She asked the judge who nodded for her to do so. "Mr. Livesy you also caused several abrasions to Mr Kendall's torso and face, If I'm correct, you then went on to attack Mr. Kendall later that day."

Aaron couldn't deny that. He'd pinned Darrel up against Dale head's wall when he returned to the garage that same day.

"There are witnesses there to prove that you did." She added with a satisfied smirk.

"I'm not saying I didn't." Aaron told her truthfully. "I pinned him up against a wall."

"Exactly." She grinned before looking down at her papers once more. "The next time you saw him was at a party wasn't it?"

Aaron nodded.

"You were still with Jackson at the time but yet as soon as he left you alone you went searching for Mr. Kendall yet again who was still with Mr. James." Darrel's lawyer continued. "You don't give up easily do you Mr. Livesy? Mr. Kendall had tried to tell you at the garage that he wasn't interested, that he had a boyfriend. But yet you thought you could try your chances."

"It wasn't like that, not one bit." Aaron gritted out through his teeth. He couldn't help stopping the lies get to him.

She ignored him an continued. "When Mr. Kendall refused your advances once more you turned nasty didn't you?"

Aaron shook his head.

"You hit him over the shoulder with a large, heavy object." She pushed. "Before running, leaving an injured man on his own."

Aaron shook his head again. It was self defence.

"But that doesn't bother you." She hinted. "You often strike out against people with violence. You've a record of that haven't you? Mr. Walsh, your boyfriend, you attacked him before."

How dare she bring that up. That was forever going to haunt him, no matter how guilty and sorry he felt about it. People were always going to bring back for him.

"You've got form Mr. Livesy." She grinned like the cat that got the cream.

"You're unbelievable." Aaron spat, trying his best to keep his temper in check. "Do you get kicks out of sprouting lies to get criminals off?" He shot at her, Harrison's warning completely forgotten about.

She laughed. She's gotten him to lose his temper, show his colours. "But I'm not lying am I? You did attack Mr. Walsh and Darrel. But I'm not the unbelievable one am I?" She said. "You are, after everything you done to Mr. Kendall, he still went to see you a few weeks afterwards to talk to you, make you see what you were doing wasn't right. You attacked him yet again!"

Aaron let out a laugh. "Yeah I attacked him. But once again it was self defense! I was the one that was landed in hospital don't forget, close to death, bleeding to death at the bottom of the stairs." He roared at her.

She grinned back at him, making his blood boil even more. "Even so Mr. Livesy, you still attacked him. You mere tumble down the stairs was an act of self defense, given half the chance you would have done much worse to my client."

A mere tumble down the stairs? What was she on? Aaron was blinded by pure rage now. She was lying, twisting his words, his past against him.
