Amber's POV
Oh my God! It's my wedding night. I'm so scared! Right now I'm in the tent thingy.
"Ambs, calm down" Nina said, trying to calm me down.
"I can't!" I screamed in her ear. I must have done it too loud because she accidentally fell over.
"Sorry Nines" I apologized.
"It's okay" she said as she got up. I started to calm down a little. I thought of happy thoughts. Alfie and I married. But then I thought of something else. What if he's only marrying me because of the girls? What if I wasn't pregnant? I thought about this but then I remembered High School. The way he kept begging and the way I kept rejecting. The look on his face when I finally said 'yes'. I realized that we love each other. Soon, it was time to walk down the aisle. My dad walked me down it. The priest said some things but they weren't important to me. I was just staring at Alfie's eyes.
"You may now say your vows" he said. Alfie went first.
"Amber, I've known you since we were 11. And since the first day I saw you, I knew it was love at first sight. I tried most of my High School life trying to get you. You shot me down a few times but, it was worth it because if I didn't try, I wouldn't have you. And that would be a tragedy. You're beautiful, funny, and most people don't see it, but you're really smart. You're a caring mother and a great partner. I don't know where I would be without you". I felt tears starting to well up in my eyes.
"Alfie, I know it didn't seem that way but I've loved you since the first time I met you. I rejected you a lot but, I was just too young and blind to see that I really love you. I wish I'd realized sooner that you are incredibly smart, funny and amazingly cute. I don't know how I would live without you in my life". I could hear Nina crying in the audience.
"Then by the power invested in me and the country of England, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride". he kissed me softly and I could hear people wooing in the audience. He carried me out bridal-style to the reception.
Reception
Mara's POV
The reception was so fun.
"Follow me" Jerome said. He took me into the gift room.
"Jerome, is this really the best time to do this? I'm not objecting, just asking" I said. He chuckled.
"As much as I want to do that, it's not what I had in mind. Close your eyes" he said. I did.
"Open" he said. When I did, I saw him on one knee holding a velvet box with a diamond ring in it.
"Yes!" I squealed. He slipped it on.
"It's beautiful" I said.
"Just like you" he replied. I blushed. Best Night Ever!
