Chapter 54

The next couple of months had passed in a very busy blur for the three Anderson-Hummel boys. After they had arrived back to New York, they had moved into their new house. Devon loved it because it had a garden that was big enough for not one swing but three, it was important that they all had one each so there would be no fighting, or at least that is what Devon said. Kurt had been reluctant at first, accepting a house from his inlaws that hadn't been to accepting of him to begin with felt a little as though they were trying to buy their way in. Blaine had told him it wasn't the case but if it was something Kurt really wasn't comfortable with then they would give the keys back. That's what Kurt wanted to do, that was until their pipes burst in the kitchen and they needed to move out because as Devon had shouted, 'I can't swim yet daddy we can't live underwater!' So they had moved, and as much as Kurt had said it was just temporary, they loved their new house and Kurt didn't want to leave.

Not to mention the house was practically fully furnished, and was decorated decently for their likings. Kurt was getting bigger by the day, at least that's what it felt like to him and all he wanted to do was eat and sleep, everything else was starting to feel like a real effort to him.

"Babe you okay?" Blaine asked as he walked back into their house. Kurt was laying on the sofa, a position that for the moment seemed to be the comfiest thing he could find.

"I'm sleepy." Kurt grumbled grabbing a cushion and cuddling up to it.

"I know." Blaine said softly. "You didn't have a great night last night."

"They was kicking." Kurt sighed, he went to sit up but Blaine rushed over and helped him. "Thanks."

"I hate seeing you so defeated." Blaine whispered sitting down beside him. "I know that you're carrying our babies, but I wish I could just take that away and have you okay."

"I'm okay." Kurt said, taking Blaine's hand in his. "Three months to go and we will have two screaming babies on our hands."

"Three months." Blaine smiled, his thumb brushing against Kurt's knuckles.

"Why aren't you at work?" Kurt asked, his head resting on Blaine's shoulder.

"I asked if I could have today off, I wanted to spend some extra time with you." Blaine smiled he pressed his lips to Kurt's temple and felt his lovers eyes close.

"We have a wedding to plan." Kurt smiled lazily.

"We can plan that later, right now I am going to run you a nice bubble bath, then I am going to give you a massage and you and those babies are going to get some sleep."

"But our wedding.."

"Kurt, we can have the most expensive, spectacular wedding in the world, or we can have a nice church service, or hell we could go to Vegas and get married by Elvis, I don't care as long as at the end of it you are my husband." Blaine smiled, stroking his hair.

"Really?" Kurt whispered.

"Really. I just want you." Blaine pressed his lips to Kurt's softly and pulled him up to his feet, one hand resting carefully on his lower back to help support him. Kurt had been getting dizzy recently, the Doctor's had assured him that it was just because of his balance and that everything was fine.

"Just want you too." Kurt smiled.

Blaine led him up to the bathroom and as promised ran Kurt an amazing bubble bath, he helped him in and ran his fingers slowly over the bump, he was sure he could feel little legs kicking at his hands and when he saw Kurt wince he knew it must have happened. "They like you." Kurt smiled.

"Should hope so." Blaine giggled.

Kurt smiled and relaxed against Blaine who had moved behind him and was gently rubbing his shoulders. "How was Devon when you dropped off?"

"Excited as always." Blaine smiled. "They're studying space this week."

"He should be a pro." Kurt mused.

"Wants to take his space rocket in to show everyone." Blaine said.

"If he's good maybe he can." Kurt said, closing his eyes and taking in the relaxing feeling of Blaine and his magical hands.

"I love you." Blaine whispered against Kurt's skin, when he realised Kurt had fallen asleep he smiled and gave him a quick wash, he rinsed his hair proud of himself for not waking him up. Once he had let Kurt sleep for half an hour he gently woke him up. "Baby, come on, let's get you to bed."

"Don't wanna." Kurt grumbled.

"Come on sweetie." Blaine chuckled and helped him up. Blaine helped him out of the tub and wrapped a towel around his waist and helped him to the bedroom. "Let's get you into some sweat pants so we can relax on the bed."

"Will you sing?" Kurt asked yawning. Blaine smiled watching him, he looked so much like Devon it was unbelievable.

"Anything for you." Blaine smiled, he pressed his lips against Kurt's temple and helped him step into a pair of sweat pants.

"Love you." Kurt yawned, once he had his sweat pants on, Blaine tucked him up in bed, using the special maternity pillow to help Kurt get comfortable.

"Sleep tight okay, baby, I'll come and say goodbye before I pick Devon up."

"You didn't sing." Kurt pouted, rubbing his eyes a little.

"Oh, sorry." Blaine chuckled. "What do you want me to sing?"

"Something." Kurt said tiredly, before Blaine could even think of a song to sing Kurt had already fallen asleep.

Blaine grinned and tucked him up in bed, kissing his cheek. "God I love you." Blaine whispered before walking out of the room, he tidied up some of Devon's toys and started to make Kurt's favourite dinner, he was ready to pamper his husband, it had been a long couple of months and knew it would get tougher but at the end of it it would be worth it. They would have two little additions to their family and Blaine couldn't wait for them to arrive.
