Chapter 33
Kamui caught up with Subaru after Transfiguration; thankfully Fuuma was ranting full force about the homework, "EXAMS ARE OVER WHAT ARE THEY PLAYING AT?!"
Usually Kamui would've mentioned something to Fuuma to calm him down, but right now he was glad his boyfriend was distracted. "Subaru?"
"Hmm?" Kamui's twin was putting his books away in his bag, a wedding band on his left hand and a Slytherin class ring on his right; both catching Kamui's eyes.
"I...I want to apologize…"
"What for?"
"I…should've believed you and Hokuto sooner about Seishirou…"
"What about Sei-kun?"
"He's not…all that bad…I mean I still think he's a perverted bastard and there's still things about him I don't get, but I guess I can say for now I'm glad you married him."
"Thank you, and it's true. Seishirou has a much bigger heart than he lets most people know." Subaru paused to hug his brother. "I have to go, Head Boy duties call, and now that you accept Sei-kun more, maybe you and Fuuma can get even closer."
"OH FABULOUS! IT'S TRUE! You had a hard time getting close to him because he's Sei-chan's little brother and you hated Sei-chan for so long. I don't know, I hear wedding bells in the future OHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
"HOKUTO!"
"Eh? I'm speaking the truth! You and Fuuma have been together for two years it could happen!"
"Fuuma's not like his brother, he's not overly protective! Or possessive. Or a pervert or great at keeping secrets."
At this Hokuto's eyes narrowed. "He's more like him than you think."
"Why would you say that?"
"Because I'm your big sister and I know everything, come on, Potions awaits!"
"CAN YOU NOT REMIND ME?!"
Fuuma had joined them and draped an arm on Kamui's shoulders. "Stupid subject. Shouldn't exist."
"Neither should pro Quidditch." Kamui hadn't meant for his jibe to come off so harsh, but apparently it had.
"Ah, well sadly both exist huh? See you guys later, I'm skipping this class."
"Fuuma, wait—"
"Whatever for? My dreams shouldn't exist according to you, so maybe according to me; we shouldn't exist. I have a call to go make." In a swish of black the taller male was heading off to the third floor.
"Kamui, I know you're upset about him leaving, but well, Fuuma has a lot to live up to and since Quidditch seems to be one thing that Fuuma is better at than say, the rest of his family, jibing at him like that? Not the best idea."
"How? How did Subaru and Seishirou do this? I don't understand, I don't want to be away from him, not ever, but I just may have done that."
"Let him cool down then talk to him." Subaru had reappeared by his siblings' sides. "If he's anything like his brother, it's best to let him cool off."
That was the rub though. Was Fuuma like his brother? Hokuto seemed to think so and usually she was right about such manners. Likewise, even though Kamui had known Fuuma since they were kids, but Subaru had been housemates and classmates with him for the past seven years.
So did he trust his instincts or trust his siblings? At this point Kamui didn't know anymore.
