Chapter 53
There was no way to tell the time, or how it passed, and quite frankly, Jade didn't care. She wanted out and it would happen. Her babies needed her. She had a family to look after and care for. A burning need for freedom coursed through her veins and vengeance raged in her very soul.
Those that got in her way would be killed.
Something was different this time around when the humans left. A viscous smirk visibly appeared on Jade's lips as the last puny human left her torture chamber. Someone forgot to start the slow liquid nitrogen drips that kept her immobile by being injected straight into her veins.
Now it was time for revenge.
Once sure no one was near to hinder her escape Jade tore at the wires and tubes connecting her to her tormentor's devices of choice. Alarms went off with a shrill screech and flashing red lights, signaling the disconnection from said devices.
Ever so slowly the vengeful woman opened her eyes. All around her was white. The walls, the floors, and the equipment; everything was white. It was all so sparklingly clean that she could see the reflection of her eyes on the wall in front of her as she sat up.
One spot was blue, and another was red.
Ratchet was swearing every being responsible for the attack on the base to the pit and back. He had been right all along that the humans would attack them. There was a brief moment where the medic was glad he had ordered Bumblebee to stop all contact with the young Samuel. Oh, the youngling had put up a fight about it, but in the end he had listened. It was for the best though. With the attack it was obvious that the majority of humans wanted them offlined and by being near Samuel, Bumblebee would be putting him and his femme in danger. Didn't change the fact that the yellow and black mech still sulked for a good two orbital cycles though.
Now they were scattered, the humans their enemies and hunting them down. Prime had ordered no contact and to hide. This was what the Autobots were disgraced to. Hiding from the humans they had tried so hard to protect for fear of attack. It made Ratchet's energon boil at the thought of his daughter out there somewhere, captured by the enemy.
Primus he wanted Jade back! Nothing was the same without her. There was no one to keep the twins in line, to entertain the sparklings, to be the listener and emotional support that so many Autobots needed. Jade was one of the last pure beings the old medic had seen with his own optics. The others mainly being her sparklings; his grand-sparklings.
Speaking of them, Ratchet wondered where in the pit they were going.
He had stealthily put a tracking code on each sparkling so that he would always know where they were. They were currently heading toward want looked like the state of Ohio; had been ever since they had been separated from the adults during the battle.
Cursing again the brightly colored mech sped up. He needed to protect his grand-sparklings at all costs. Jade would have his head if he didn't. His next intake was rather shaky as he worried about his daughter held behind enemy lines. A deep seated fear crept up on him, making him worry for her just as much as he worried for her sparklings.
How much would this change Jade?
Primus, he hoped it wouldn't change the femme much.
Lockdown looked at all of the information that the insect human had given him. Though he loathed to do it, the deal he had struck with the fleshie was the best way for him to find Optimus Prime. Several files caught his attention, causing him to turn back to them and reread.
Most of the files were on sparkling. Mainly, those were full of approximated ages, medic information, personalities, and the few abilities they had. The bounty hunter honestly couldn't remember the last time he had even heard of a Cybertronian sparkling being made. The Creators hadn't told him of any of this so he assumed it was the work of the Allspark.
The file that intrigued him the most though, was that of a red painted femme designated Jade. She was bulky in frame, but still showed the natural curves of a femme. Sturdy looked, probably could take a punch or a missile and more. Apparently this femme was the adopted mother of the sparklings and had raised them as well as she could while protecting them from the war. She was an experiment of the humans working under the guise of Project M, a young human femme forced into a sparkless metal heap of slag by a forced Allspark shard. Extremely active carrier programming, low self-esteem, determined; this femme had all the instincts of a survivor, but none of the experience needed to properly use said knowledge.
On principal Lockdown did not harm Cybertronian sparklings if he could help it. There were so few of them that he highly doubted that the Creators would care much if he let them stay online. The femme he also hadn't known about until his alliance. She was intriguing and he wanted her for his collection. He was still debating on whether to have her locked up or merely a prisoner chained to him at all times. She was certainly a decent looking femme, especially with those heel extensions the Autobot medic had put on her to help her self confidence. He wouldn't mind having her serve him and Primus he would have fun breaking her mind and spark as she would obviously fight him.
He liked them feisty. It made for more fun and amusement when he went through the process of making her submit to him fully.
One the plus side, he would also be able to interact with the sparklings in her care. Vaguely he wondered where the little group of Cybertronians were at the moment. Their adoptive carrier was in the hands of Project M so where were they? More importantly, how were they surviving without their carrier?
