"This is going to be fun." Kira Yamato smirked as he sat in the Divinity Gundam's cockpit, glaring at the 24 newly arrived Borg cubes, casually firing the World Devastator Cannon on the METEOR's left beam saber arm at the cube which he had just freed the Phoenix from, the Borg ship vanishing within a massive explosion.

Suddenly, two of the cubes broke off from the firefight and warped away, continuing on their route to Federation Space. The Divinty Gundam instantly broke off from its battle with a tactical cube and followed the pair of massive ships, with the Phoenix trailing behind the angelic mobile suit a few seconds later. Quickly realizing that they were being pursued, both cubes increased their speed, leaving trails of flashing light behind them.

"This is Admiral Yamato. Two Borg cubes have broken through the blockade and are heading for Earth. We can't let either of those ships enter our solar system. All ships and mobile suits under my direct command, focus all weapons on those two cubes."

As the Phoenix sped through space, spewing thousands of energy blasts and various types of torpedos at the pair of cubes, all of its hanger doors opened, the huge vessel quickly launching its entire compliment of warp-capable ships and mobile suits. Kira couldn't help but notice that the RX-78NT-1 Gundam Alex, in full armor mode and equipped with one of the recently developed Warp Strikers, was among the millons of mobile suits which had been deployed.

The Warp Striker was a very new Striker Pack, one which allowed a mobile suit to reach speeds up to warp 9.95. The Warp Striker had the appearance of an Aile Striker, but with glowing blue wingtips, in addition to allowing the equipped mobile suit to reach warp velocities, the Warp Striker carried a pair of beam sabers which were stored between the top set of wings while a pair of beam pistols were stored below the bottom set of wings.

"Kira, on their current course and speed, those two cubes will reach Earth in less than ten minutes." Lexi's voice spoke through the communications system.

The two Borg cubes blazed forward, continuing on their route to Earth. They were mere minutes away. Suddenly, the cube on the left increased speed, leaving trails of flashing light behind it, while the cube on the right fell maintained its current speed and began to launch various mobile suits, mobile armors and fighter craft.

"How dare you copy my Gundam?!" Kira roared, as the first machine to be launched by the cube was clearly a Borg copy of the Divinity Gundam.

Suddenly, Admiral Yamato's voice came over the communications system. The crew of the Phoenix listened as the admiral spoke. "This is Admiral Yamato. The first Borg cube has increased speed and is still heading for Earth. We can't let it reach our homeworld. All ships in Phoenix team, focus every weapon on the first cube."

The Phoenix instantly increased its speed and swooped around the trailing cube, taking a few shots at the huge vessel as it headed toward the lead Borg vessel. The image of the massive ship came up on the Phoenix's main screen.

As the Phoenix began to fire on the lead Borg ship, the METEOR-clad Divinity Gundam moved to combat its Borg counterpart in combat. The arms of the METEOR Unit quickly folding backwards and allowing the Divinity to engage in close combat.

"I will make you pay for stealing our mobile suit designs!" The amethyst-eyed man screamed as the Divinity ignited the pure white beam saber on its left wrist and slamming the energy blade against the dark purple blade of its dark twin.

"You humans are most amusing." The voice of the Borg Queen spoke through the Divinity Gundam's speakers, as her image appeared on one of the small communications screens.

"According to the Excalibur's weapons manual; when machine guns, missiles, mobile suits, Gundams, Evangelion Units, nuclear warheads, beam weapons, positron cannons, temporal inversion cannons, phasers, photon torpedos, quantum torpedos, chroniton torpedos, singularity torpedos and anti-matter torpedos fail...RAM THE MOTHER FUCKER!" The voice of Lexi Yamato roared as she stood on the bridge of the Pheonix, as the ship continued to speed towards the leading cube. A few short seconds later, the entire front-end of the massive supercarrier was surrounded by a glowing white energy shield, and an instant later, the massive ship slammed into the cube, completely destroying it and sending the debris hurtling into the trailing cube.

Kira couldn't help but grin as the Collective's voice boomed through the Queen's copy of the Divinity Gundam. 'Cube 475 destroyed. Extensive damage to Cube 509. Sensors: offline, transporters: offline, tractor beams: offline, weapons: offline, sublight drives: offline, warp engines: damaged, transwarp engines: minor damage...Begin regeneration all systems.' The voice of the Collective continued. 'Priority task change: Regeneration of Cube 509; priority 1. Assimilation of planet 001; priority 2.'

"Still think we're amusing?" Kira smirked, even as he landed a rattling kick to the chest of the Queen's mobile suit, knocking it away.

"No." The Queen replied, as her machine surged forward and again engaged the Divinity Gundam in combat. "Now you're just annoying!"

"Aww, poor baby!" Kira mocked, even as he fired a pair of railgun shells into the enemy mobile suit, once again forcing it away, failing to notice that the second cube, along with the Phoenix and its support units, had dropped out of warp.

In a city on Earth called Tokyo, the roads were roaring with cars, trucks and vans of all makes, models and years, and of horns going off, even though it was after midnight. The people walking down the streets, all day long, every day as they went about their daily routines. The normality was suddenly shattered, however, as dozens of glowing green energy beams lanced down from the sky and impacted the city, with some of the energy blasts effortlessly slicing their way through skyscrapers before then slamming into the ground and leaving nothing but scorched earth behind.

After the first bombardment, most the remaining skyscrapers quickly lowered themselves into the ground as the city began to convert into is combat mode. As the other buildings lowered into the ground, the roofs of the skyscrapers that remained above ground opened up, revealing numerous ground-to-air missile launchers, anti-aircraft guns, flak cannons, high-energy beam cannons, phaser arrays, positron cannons and even torpedo launchers.

The few civilians that hadn't made it to shelters watched in muted horror as a second volley of energy beams came streaking out of the sky, only for a dome of white energy to flash to life above the city, enshrouding it and sparing it from further damage. Less than ten seconds later, however, the sky lit up with a million falling stars, each one with a slight green tint.

About 150 miles west of Tokyo, conversations quickly began to die out as a steady thumping boomed in the distance, getting closer as each second passed. Many of the soldiers; human, pony and even gryphon, stopped what they were doing and began to look around, trying to find the source of the noise. Among the gryphons was one named Gilda, her gaze unable to reach farther than the nearby trees.

The thumping got considerably louder, making the ground shake under Gilda's paws. She stood up and traced the sound to somewhere among the trees, and was able to make out a few of them getting crushed under whatever it was that was causing the noise.

"Gundam!" One of the human sentinels called out. Immediately, a metallic roar quaked the ground and a trio of artificial lights turned on, blinding the troops and revealing the shape of a massive, black and grey, mechanical monster walking towards the camp, its bright green eyes burning with malice.

Several tall, bipedal figures broke from the tree line and began assaulting the camp. The loud explosions of the Borg weaponry were all that could be heard besides the cries for help of other troops. Gilda's eyes widened and she dropped both her energy sword and assault rifle, turning around and running back into the maze of tents.

Explosions surrounded her as she ran. The projectiles fired by the Borg effortlessly pierced the flesh of the troops that were running with her, making them fall, either dead or unable to move. She saw as the explosions ripped some of them apart, leaving nothing more than a mess of burnt innards spread on the ground.

A massive figure landed in front of her, blocking her path. The machine stood up and looked at her, giving off a laugh that was only audible due to the loudspeakers which were built into the machine's torso armor, then it aimed its weapon at her. She dodged and leapt into the air while spreading her wings, flying as fast as she could manage in order to avoid the wrath of the creature. She continued flying, unsure as to where she was heading, the only thought in her head being escaping.

Her wings flapped with all of their strength, pulling her away from the camp. She glanced back to see the smoke of the burning tents rise into the sky. The metallic monsters stood in the middle of what used to be the last camp of the formerly glorious Gryphonic army, firing its arm-mounted cannons at those brave, injured, or stupid enough to remain in the area, reducing them to nothing but a mess of bone and flesh.

Floating high above the island nation of Japan, in a stationary orbit, sat a single Borg cube, its shields brightly glowing with a neon green light as it was pelted from all sides by a myriad of various types of energy blasts and torpedoes.

On each side of the cube were six mobile space stations; a pair of Equestria's cylindrical Orbital Friendship Platforms, a pair of Starfleet's mushroom-shaped Spacedocks and a pair of Celestial Being's hourglass-shaped PLANTs. All six of the stations were unloading all of their weapons on the stationary cube, even as it sent wave after wave of triangle-shaped drop pods towards the surface.

"Stay the hell away from my planet!" Kira Yamato's enraged voice shrieked as the Divinity Gundam, still docked with its METEOR Unit, came screaming out of the blackness with every single long-range weapon firing as fast as possible. The amethyst-eyed man scowled as he quickly realized that the Borg had already adapted to all of the Divinity's heavier beam and plasma weapons, while the rail gun shells were simply vaporized by the ship's shields. "Adapt to this!" Kira roared, as he unleashed all 36 of the Divinity's DRAGOON units, all of which had recently been modified to fire either normal beam blasts, or energy blasts matching to power of the World Devastator Cannons which were mounted on the METEOR Unit.

The 36 remote weapons rapidly moved through the void, effortlessly dodging the weapons fire from the cube, before finally unleashing brilliant red energy beams, the three dozen energy blasts striking the cube in the exact same instant, quickly turning the ship's hull a deep crimson, before the vessel finally exploded in a massive fireball.
