Logan dropped her off at TM the next morning. They were voting on Clay. She sat in the clubhouse. Tig kissed the top of her head as he walked by. She nodded to the others as they walked by her. Clay came out of the chapel and walked toward the garage. She walked outside to sit on the table by the ring. Chibs came out a few minutes later to get him. Jax jumped him as he got close to the clubhouse door and threw him into a table. They pulled Jax off of him. Jax stormed back into the clubhouse and went to the chapel. Bobby took Clay's Kutte from him. He walked into the clubhouse to go talk to Jax. Jocelyn hadn't budged from her seat. Happy looked over at her. She shrugged. He went to get his tattoo equipment from his dorm room. She got up from her seat and walked down the hall. She sighed. He looked up at her.
"What?" he asked.
"You gonna be the one to do my first tattoo?" she asked him.
"Better be the only one you come to for tattoos little lady,"
She laughed. He moved about his dorm room, ensuring that he had everything would need for that night when he blacked out Clay's tattoos. She watched him for a minute.
"Don't you have something to do?" he asked.
She rolled her eyes.
"Don't like me hanging out anymore?" she asked.
"Hap, we gotta go," Bobby said.
He stood up and walked out of the room. She followed after him. He left with the rest of the guys. She went back out to the office. Her phone went off while she sat there.
(LS) hey beautiful
(JC) hey
(LS) Lunch today?
(JC) I'm the only one here,
(LS) I'll bring it to you.
(JC) Ok
She put the phone on the desk. Dog came walking into the room. She looked at him.
"What?" she asked.
"We are locking it down," he said.
"What?!"
"They just called and said to lock it down."
"Jesus,"
She picked her phone back up.
(JC) can't do lunch
(LS) why not
(JC) going on lockdown.
She sighed heavily.
(Dad) get your boy to the clubhouse
(JC) he ain't part of this
(Dad) get him there now, don't argue with me
(JC) Seriously?
She switched back to Logan's message
(JC) my dad just told me to tell you to get here and go on lockdown with us
(LS) really?
(JC) yeah
(LS) on my way
She got up and started to prepare the office. Once she was done there, she ran for the clubhouse door to start getting them ready to go. Jax had to go to the hospital to get Tara and the boys so he took Chibs with him. She got the sweet butts to start preparing the dorm rooms. She had pretty much taken over Gemma's job getting the club ready for their lockdown. She sent V-Lin and Rat to the store to get food and stock the kitchen. She got Dog to lock down the garage and get all the cars that were not club vehicles out of the garage.
"Logan's here," Wade told her.
They headed into the clubhouse. Logan looked worried.
"It's going to be all right," she told him.
"You sure?" he asked.
She nodded. As the club began to fill up, she went into work mode. Tig sidled up next to the boy who was showing interest in his daughter.
"She's gonna make a great old lady one day," he said.
"What do you mean?" Logan asked.
"Heard that you were looking to prospect some time,"
"Yeah I've thought about it."
"Well then you need to see the whole thing before you make that choice."
Logan nodded. Jocelyn skated by him to get drinks to some of the guys. She glanced over at him and smiled. He looked at Tig.
"I gotta go," he said.
Logan nodded. He watched Tig get up from the seat and walk out. Tig and Clay headed out somewhere. Jocelyn walked over to Logan.
"What did he say?" she asked.
"Nothing really. Asking me about prospecting when I'm old enough," he replied.
She nodded. Chucky came in with a shipment of alcohol. She didn't think anything of it. He started unloading it. She leaned back in the chair. A crow eater walked over to her.
"Need anything?" she asked.
"Nah, I'm good. Logan, you need anything?" Jocelyn asked.
"Nah," Logan replied.
"Let me know if you do," the woman smiled.
"He's seventeen, Stephanie, back the hell off," Jocelyn snapped, standing up.
The girl backed away. Logan rolled his eyes. A little later, her father showed back up with Clay and Jax's very pissed off ex-wife. She went to the dorms with Jax and Tara. Jocelyn could hear yelling coming from down the hall coming from Wendy. Jocelyn looked at her father.
"I have to wait on her and then take her home," he said.
"She looks mad," Jocelyn said.
"Oh she is,"
"I don't see that ending well for Jax."
"Yeah?"
"I barely survived a custody battle with your mother and she was doing drugs at that point. It's hard to deal with."
Wendy came storming down the stairs. Tig looked at his daughter.
"That's my cue," he said.
She nodded. Jax came down the stairs after they left. He gave out all kinds of orders. Then he disappeared into the chapel. Happy got his stuff set up to black out Clay's tattoos.
"I didn't know he did tattoos," Logan said.
"Yeah, he's amazing at it," she replied.
"You really grew up like this?"
"I did."
"Wow,"
"I know right, it's crazy. It's my life though."
Logan nodded. He had always thought the MC was doing good in Charming, even with all the nonsense that was going on. He hadn't told Jocelyn but he lived next door to Juice for a while. Juice had spotted Logan being beaten on and stepped in a few times. Jocelyn got up and walked out to the garage with Logan right behind her. She watched them begin the black out on the tattoo. She watched Gemma leave the clubhouse. Jax had told everyone that they could head home. The Irish had their money and they thought it had ended everything. Jocelyn was stuck until her dad was ready to go. She leaned against the bay door watching Happy work. He was determined. She tried to read the look on Clay's face as the needle crossed his skin. The others were standing there watching. Happy moved to the reaper on Clay's arm. Bobby pulled off before Happy was finished. Her father was still gone. She was waiting on him to come back but knew he was meeting Jax for something. He had been sitting on Wendy's house at Jax's request. She had no idea what he was doing. It wasn't going to be good, she knew that much.
"I gotta get home," Logan said.
"All right, I'll see you tomorrow," she asked.
"Sure will, babe."
He kissed her before he left the lot. She turned back to Happy working. Her father pulled back up on the lot as Logan was pulling off it. She watched him park the tow truck and park it. She walked over to him as he got out. He put his arm around her shoulders. She smiled. He kissed her cheek.
"Did Logan leave?" he asked.
"Yeah that was him leaving," she said.
Tig nodded. He took his daughter home after everything was done with Clay's tattoo. Jocelyn headed up the stairs. She was over all the drama with the club. She hoped this was the end of it. She went to her room to get clothes. She needed a shower. After her shower, she went to get her and her dad something to eat before going to bed. She had to go to the lot again the next day. She figured that Gemma wasn't coming in.
