See! I'm not as late as I was before! You're welcome! I love you! Here it is, part 2 of Currents!

Disclaimer: I would bring Boyd back if I owned Teen Wolf but he's not back, so no.

"I'm coming up only to hold you under
And coming up only to show you're wrong
And to know you is hard; we wonder...
To know you all wrong; we warn.

Ooooooooh Oooooooooh
Ooooooooh Oooooooooh

Really too late to call,
So we wait for morning
To wake you is all we got
To know me as hardly golden
Is to know me all wrong, they warn.

At every occasion I'll be ready for the funeral
At every occasion, once more, it's called the funeral
At every occasion, oh, I'm ready for the funeral
At every occasion, oh, one billion day funeral..."- The Funeral by Band of Horses

So, let's see shall we? Scott and Stiles are off to the vet, to see if they could save Deaton but I wasn't invited because they left without telling me! Boyd and Isaac are off to help Derek – whatever that means. I haven't seen Lydia since our Calculus class in the morning, seriously, where has she disappeared to? And Allison?! Was she even at school at all? I haven't seen her either.

I'm all alone.

Putting things in my locker – surprisingly with no twin either. Hm. Things are getting awfully fishy.

Sigh.

I don't even like fish!

"Hey Abby,"

"Blasphemy!" I screamed, while jumping, hearing the familiar voice right next to me. I closed my locker to see Cora, casually leaning against Aiden's locker with the familiar Hale smirk. I placed a hand over my heart, instinctively and asked, breathing deeply, "Was that really necessary?"

"Of course it is,"

"You Hale's," I grumbled, closing my locker. "So, what's up with the unexpected visit? You don't even go here. Oh, Mean Girls, haha."

She blinked, shook her head, and then went on explaining, "I – um, you're gonna' hate me so much for this but remember this is all Derek. I completely disagree with him and I think he's an idiot for breaking up with you, a distraction? Really? You're anything but a distraction, he needs you, he doesn't realize it yet but he does. Look, my brother's an ass -"

"Cora!" I interrupted, "What uh – what does he need?"

"The key to the loft," she replied, sheepishly.

"Oh."

"He doesn't want the Camaro back because he knows how much you love it and -"

I cut her off, giving her a weak smile, "Cora, it's uh, it's okay." And then, I pouted, "I'm still keeping the Camaro."

I took out my key chain ring from my tote, that had an assortment of keys on them – house keys, car key, bathroom key (because that's always fun), garage key and…loft key. I unhooked the loft key from the key chain and placed it in her awaiting palm.

"I'm sorry," she mumbled, placing a hand on my shoulder and I shrugged.

"I've been through breakups before, I think I can handle this," I lied, hoping she wouldn't hear my heartbeat.

She gave me a look of disbelief but let it pass and said, "I also came here for another reason, and you're probably gonna' hate Lydia for this."

"What are you -" she ignored me and walked past me, to the hallway fire alarm. Um. It's okay I'm confused here, right? Then, she pulled it! Is she insane!?

I immediately started darting my eyes around the hallways to see if any passerby's saw the stunt she pulled. They were all too busy running for their lives, good. She doesn't even go here! She could booted or something, I don't know!

Cora walked back over to me and took my wrist, with me yelling in hysterics, "Are you insane?!" She rolled her eyes at me and just pointed to a door in front of us. Coach's office. Why was I staring at Coach's office. Okay, whoa.

What was Aiden doing in Coach's office?! Without Coach?!

Cora then started dragging me across to Finstock's office while I complained, "Seriously, doesn't this place have any cameras, they were here like a month ago."

She didn't reply because at that moment we were standing right in front of the office and then…*GASP* HOW DARE YOU, LYDIA?! HOW DARE YOU?! I TRUSTED YOU. I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU!

I gasped, loudly, while my strawberry blonde BFFL sputtered to give me an explanation. "Wow!? 0/10, would not befriend, I am judging you!"

She didn't get a chance to say anything because Cora cut in, "You don't have very good taste in guys, do you?"

"Amen to that, sista," I snapped my fingers.

Lydia gave me a deadpanned stare and spoke, monotonously, "Abby, c'mon,"

"Nope, I am giving you the silent treatment miss. Good day -"

"Abby -"

"I said good day!"

Lydia blinked in my direction – probably knowing I can't be mad for more than ten minutes – and looked over at Cora. She scoffed and was about to walk out of Finstock's office, but Cora blocked her way. Um. What's going on now?

"Is there a problem?" Lydia asked.

"Derek would kindly like to ask you to stop seeing Aiden, which means if I catch you with him again, I'm not gonna' pull the fire alarm, I'm gonna' pull your tongue out of your head." Cora threatened.

"Oh dayummmmmm girl, you've been to Derek Hale's school of reasoning with people, haven't you?" I wondered, raising an eyebrow at Cora, who glared at me in return.

"Sweetheart," oh Lydia, she's getting the sass from me, I'm telling ya, "my last boyfriend was a homicidal lizard so, I think I can handle a werewolf. I mean, Abby can."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't drag the innocent brunette into this,"

"Pfft innocent," my jaw dropped.

"Strike number two missy," I humphed at the redhead.

She rolled her eyes and was about to reach for the door handle but Cora stopped her, grabbing her wrist. "Um, Cora -" I was interrupted.

"Let go," Lydia grunted, twisting her wrist around Cora's grip.

"Maybe you should -" I'M TRYING HELP YOU LYDIA. STOP INTERRUPTING.

"I said -" AH YOU GOT CUT OFF. HA.

"Let go," Stiles? "She said, let go,"

"Aw," I marveled, "Stiles to the rescue, I'm so proud." I wiped a nonexistent tear from the corner of my eye.

"Your mother should've swallowed you."

"Not gonna' lie, harsh, but I've heard worse things come out of your mouth."

A Ouija board? Wow. Okay. Why am I even here? Oh right, it's free period and I have nothing better to than to watch the girl I'm ignoring call the holy spirits to save Deaton. Um.

"A Ouija board?" Lydia asked, unimpressed.

"A+ for your observation," I added, sarcastically. She turned to gave me a death stare and I gave one back, saying, "Don't think I forgot! You lil' deceiver,"

"Whatever, you'll forgive me in a few minutes," I sighed, knowing it was true. Sigh. Curse my heart of gold.

"Anyways," Stiles intervened, "it's also called a 'Spirit Board' and it's worth a shot."

"Shot in the dark," Lydia replied, as I looked around in the lit classroom.

"She has a point," I commented.

"Would you just try it, please?" Stiles asked, rhetorically, somewhat annoyed. "Let's not forget who this is for; Scott's boss, the guy who's saved our collective asses in more than one occasion."

"He also has a point," I said, again, patting Stiles on the shoulder.

"Okay, so, do we all do this?" Cora asked, motioning to the pointer thing of the Ouija board.

"Yeah," Stiles answered, "yeah,"

"This is freaky," I muttered, placing my hands on the bottom of the pointer.

"You guys ready?" Stiles asked, looking around at all of us.

Lydia pursed her lips, before replying, "Yes,"

"Yeah," Cora added, rolling her eyes. Jesus, roll them any harder Mini-Hale.

"Noo -" I saw the look Stiles gave me, "-yes, yup, totally, let's do this."

"Alright," Stiles took a breath before asking, "Where's Dr. Deaton?"

We waited. And waited. And waited. Isn't this thing supposed to move by itself or something? Or did the movies lie to my face? We all looked over at Lydia who was tilting her head to the side.

"What?" She spoke up, with a puzzled face.

"Are you gonna' answer it?" Stiles wondered, motioning the board.

"Oh, I don't know the answer," yeah, no shit, "I thought we were asking some sort of spirit."

Stiles and I shared a look before Cora asked, "Well, do you know any spirits?"

Lydia shifted her gaze over to us, then pointed as Cora, saying, "Is she for real?"

"Oh my god, is this happening? This is really happening right now," I groaned, while we all stopped touching the pointer for the Ouija board.

Then, Stiles took out a set of keys from his backpack and said, "Okay, these are Deaton's keys from the clinic -"

"Did you steal them? Did you steal a stolen mans' keys?" I scolded, smacking him upside the head.

"No, I didn't steal them!" Stiles argued, recoiling from my hit and then looked over at Lydia, "Close your eyes, I'm gonna' put 'em in your hand and we're just gonna' try and see if you can feel out for his location; it's called Psychometry." I hate any kind of -metry.

"Do you find this completely unreal or is it just me?" I asked Cora, quietly.

"Nope, I agree with you."

"I'm not a physic," Lydia retorted.

"You're something! Okay, justLydia, put out your hand!" Stiles exploded. Lydia rolled her eyes, but nonetheless, obeyed. Stiles slightly hesitated before placing the keys on her open palm and she yelped, grabbing Stiles' attention immediately, "They're cold,"

Stiles' eye twitched so much that I thought they'd fall out his head and I couldn't help but let out a little laugh.

So, I said, trying to pacify him, "Lydia, this guy is about to pee on all the things you love, so please, just concentrate."

"Yeah," Stiles grumbled, "we're trying to save lives here, for the love of god…" he trailed off, getting the stank eye from Lydia but she did as he said. She started fumbling the keys around in her hand, her eyebrows furrowed in deep concentration, and we all stared at her, intently.

"What is it?" Stiles asked, "What do you see?"

She opened her eyes, still held onto the keys, and sighed, "Nothing,"

I exhaled loudly and shifted my gaze over to Stiles, "Any other ideas in that head of yours?"

"This is the last thing I have in mind," Stiles replied, searching through his bag and pulling out a pencil with an, "AH HA!" He flipped the pencil out right in front of Lydia and said, "Automatic writing,"

"Excuse?" I immediately spoke up, wondering if he was on drugs or not.

"Psychography, it's writing produced from a subconscious physic ability," Stiles explained.

"Automatic writing?" Lydia repeated, her eyebrows touching the roof of her head. Stiles nodded and Lydia, once again, sighed but grabbed the pencil and started to do something on the notepad. Was she…drawing? She's drawing. Seriously?!

"Lydia, what're you doing? What – what the hell is that?" Ooo, Stiles is peeved.

"A tree," she answered, nonchalantly.

I seriously think Stiles' head is about to explode, oh lord, "A…tree?!" I swear, I think I just saw a vessel pop. "Lydia, you're supposed to be writing words, as in sentences! Something like a location, something that would tell us where he is!"

"Well, maybe you should've said that," Lydia said, sheepishly.

"Isn't she supposed to be some kind a genius?" Cora asked, just as annoyed as Stiles.

"Genius: yes…psychic: no," she told us. "Honestly, I don't know why you're even bothering with me anyway, especially since it's obvious you should be talking to Danny."

Stiles and I shared another look before simultaneously asking, "Wait, what, why Danny?"

"Because," a new known voice answered for us, we all looked up to see Scott holding onto his shoulder – how did he, whatever, "last night he was a target, but he wasn't a sacrifice." What...

Suddenly, the bell rang, causing all of us to snap back into reality and get to where we're supposed to go because that was the last bell of the day. We all scrambled to get out while I questioned, "How are we even gonna' talk to him? Isn't he like, on a bunch of meds?"

"Maybe he isn't," Scott said, hope lacing voice. He then pulled out his phone and quickly said, "I'll meet you guys there."

"Why?" Stiles asked, hurriedly. Scott turned around to show his phone to all of us and it was a text from Allison, saying that she thinks she found something. Hm, fishy, fishy, very fishy I'm liking it.

Scott pointed at us and said, "I'll meet you there." Stiles and I nodded before looking at each other and we started walking towards the exit

"You think you can get some sort of weapon first?" Stiles asked me, the second we reached the parking lot.

"Why – why would I need a weapon? We're going to the hospital, not Jurassic Park."

"You can never be too sure, okay?" I sighed but nonetheless, nodded and he gave me a quick hug before walking over to his Jeep.

Cora wordlessly followed, leaving me with Lydia. "I'm upset," I sneered at the strawberry blonde.

"I know,"

"Just FYI, I don't like him,"

"I know," she smirked, knowing that I was on my way to forgive her.

"I do not approve,"

"I know,"

"Ugh! Curse strawberry blondes! You owe me -"

"- a slice of coconut cream pie, with chocolate coating, I know," she finished, flipping her hair and patted my cheek before speed walking over to the Jeep. I hope she realized how many times she has bought me the 'please forgive me' coconut cream pie.

I turned around to walk over to the Camaro and hurriedly got in, starting up the car. I wiped underneath my eyes to remove any smudging eyeliner and saw none, go makeup! I reached for my tote to grab my lip gloss and unscrewed the wand. I looked into the rear view mirror and gasped, fumbling with the tube of lip gloss.

TWINS IN THE BACKSEAT! I REPEAT, TWINS IN THE BACKSEAT!

I closed my mouth – internally screaming – and held up a finger, knowing where this was leading to. I was going to be taken. I needed Liam Neeson.

"Hold on a sec," I calmly said to the Alpha twins in my backseat. I looked back into the rear view mirror and saw them share a look of confusion, but I was still getting down to my business.

I put on my lip gloss.

I placed the wand back in the tube and put it back in my tote. I sighed, wiping off any misplaced lip gloss and clicked my tongue, "Proceed,"

Almost immediately, I was yanked out of the drivers seat and – oh god, you have got to be kidding me, of course, No Shoe Nancy.

"Fu -!"

And the shitty day continues.

"I mean, guys, you could've just asked for like, an autograph or a picture? You didn't have to kidnap me." I grinned as the two twins were roughly grabbing my upper arms and dragging me into Derek's building. Of course, I was the bait. Couldn't Stiles be the bait? Jeez.

They said nothing. No Shoe Nancy walked ahead of us without sparing me a glance. Cool.

"Did you guys know, that I once had a dream where I was flirting with Leonardo DiCaprio and I asked him, 'what's your sign?' and he said, 'DiCapricorn,' and I laughed so hard, I woke up."

Nothing.

"People who bite into ice scream scare the shit outta' me, like seriously,"

Nada.

"One time, my mom was carrying her I-Pod and a slice of pizza but she tripped and dropped her I-Pod but she held on tightly to the slice of pizza and I'm so glad I know where I get my priorities from."

Nein.

We were in the elevator now.

No sweet elevator music.

"I'm gonna' need a three year long nap after this," I sighed.

No Shoe Nancy rubbed her forehead. OH LOOK! MOVEMENT! "What did Hale even see in you?" She whispered, almost inaudibly.

"Ya know, I always thought it was my wit and charm but now, I'm thinking it's because of my hair – Garnier is powerful."

One twin spoke up, "Why aren't you devastated that you guys broke up?"

"How do you know I'm not? I've got a very convincing mask, twin."

"Ethan," he corrected.

"Ah, the one that wants my Danny's D, would mind like, not doing that?"

He barely even glanced at me before giving his twin a look.

"Hey, I could see, ya know." I growled.

"Wish you couldn't talk," okay, that was definitely Aiden.

"I could easily chop your balls off for even touching my best friend."

"Now I could see why you were a distraction. I actually feel for him."

That made me go rigid and it kinda' hurt – just thinking about it. I whispered, shakily, "H-how do you know about that?" I'm really worried that my lying skills are getting better, they shouldn't be.

"I hear everything."

"You lil' slut," I retaliated.

Aiden turned his head to glare at me and the elevator stopped, making him cover my mouth as I squealed in protest. Seriously?!

"Wait for my signal," No Shoe Nancy mouthed to the twins and they both nodded obediently. They're like guard dogs, jeez.

Aiden, Ethan, and I stayed off the the side – well, I didn't have much of a choice. And then there's No Shoe Nancy over there trying to make a grand appearance by ferociously yanking the door open. Harsh. Poor door.

"Gonna' be honest Derek, when Ennis died, I thought to myself: I'd just go for it. Find you and kill you, wherever you stood. Then, I remembered, how you surround yourself with these teenagers – hiding behind them." Wow. Rude. "And I thought, what's a girl gotta' do to get you alone?"

Was that the signal? Apparently, because I was being hauled once more. This time, Ethan's claws emerged from his fingers and placed his hand in the front of my neck – well, shit.

I licked Aiden's hand and he recoiled it so quickly, I thought it ripped off. He wiped it on himself before glaring at me and I smiled cheekily at him but then I looked in front of me.

O.

Derek, Isaac, and Boyd looking very angrily at the twins and No Shoe Nancy.

"Alright," I spoke up, "on the bright side, I didn't wear heels today." I looked at the floor of Derek's loft, which had a good foot of water. "Um, I think you got a lil' leak somewhere,"

"Oh, my god, Ethan please hold her neck tighter before I kill her myself." He didn't hold my neck tighter. GO ETHAN! Not really but hey, he didn't slaughter me, so it's okay.

"Whoa, No Shoe Nancy, calm your boobs, I'll shut up now and play damsel in distress."

"You and me, Derek -"

"- sex thing -" I sang, trying to stall this whole situation.

" - that's it, I'm killing her - !" she turned to growl at me and I held up my finger, and from the corner of my eye I could see Ethan moving his lips around so that he wouldn't smile. GO ME!

"You need me for bargaining purposes, seriously though, continue with your threats. I'm not going anywhere – clearly."

She sighed, deeply before turning to look at Derek, once again, who did have humor dancing around in his eyes but every other part of his body was…deadly – hot – but deadly.

"You and me, Derek, or they tear her apart, what do you say? You think you can beat me one on one?"

I blew out a loud raspberry, could these threats go any slower? Derek motioned Boyd and Isaac to move out of the way – nice job trying to show them I was a distraction, babe. Real nice. That lie ended quicker than taking a piss.

Derek growled, "I'm gonna' rip your throat out, with my teeth."

I excitedly patted Ethan's hand, the one that was on my throat and yelped, "I've heard that one before!"

They both roared at each other – although I'm pretty sure Kali's roar was directed toward me but we'll never know for sure. And then, Derek pounced on her and it was the start of Battle Royal. With Alpha's.

Claw swing, punch, kick (thousands of those), claw swing, climbing, growling, claw swing, foot swing, punch, and it took so much for me to not scream in absolute terror when Kali hurt Derek.

I let out a small squeal when No Shoe Bitch swung her foot, hitting Derek on the jaw. I wanted to close my eyes shut, but I couldn't. I wanted there to be some kind of help but there wasn't any. When Kali grabbed Derek by the nape of his neck, I couldn't hold it in any longer and I gasped out, "No!"

Suddenly, Isaac skid his way across the flooded floor and both of the twins let go of me, dropping me on the floor, about to fight him off but he just ran past them and wrapped his arms around me, huddling me inside his chest. Sparks, millions and millions of sparks erupted from the water while Isaac held me tight and shielded me away from them.

I turned in his chest to see what happened and all I saw was Boyd jump in front of the two Alpha's, protecting Derek from the currents. I gaped, my heart pounding against my chest and realized I couldn't breathe. I took in a deep breath when I heard Kali say, "Take him!"

The twins immediately obeyed her orders and grabbed Derek by the wrists and shoulder, cupping his hands. Kali lifted up Boyd and that's when I understood what she was doing, what they were all doing. I instinctively lurched forward, yelling, "No!" But Isaac's hold on me was too strong. And I was too late.

Boyd was impaled into Derek's claws.

I abruptly felt a ginormous amount of panic flush through me and my instant reaction was to hold onto something, and it turned out to be Isaac's t-shirt. I could hear Boyd's croaks from here and for the first time in my life, I wished that I was deaf. I wished that I was blind so that I couldn't see Boyd's pain-stricken face or Derek's defeated one.

I could already feel the tears start to spring.

I barely heard Kali because I was in shock, but she said, "I'm giving you till the next full moon, Derek, make the smart choice. Join the pack." She walked over to where Isaac and I were and I scurried in deeper into Isaac's body, his arms wrapping around me once more. "Or I'm killing all of you," I flinched when she walked past us and I glared as hard as I could at the twins, while Ethan had somewhat of an apologetic glance but I still glared.

Derek and Boyd were talking about something. We were too far away too hear – well, I was but the way that Isaac's hold tightened around me, I knew he could hear everything. I heard Derek's and Boyds' small gasps and voices crack and my heart broke with every word they spoke.

A small tear made its way down my cheek when I barely heard, but did hear, Derek's stammering voice say, "I-I'm sorry,"

I clenched my jaw and slightly sniffled when Boyd fell from Derek's hands, plopping down into the water. I scrambled away from Isaac's chest and slowly stood up, watching from my stance that Derek's fingers were trembling and here I was – doing absolutely nothing.

I hurriedly made my way over to them and crouched down beside Boyd, my hands hovering over his body, seeing if I could do anything that my mom taught me, anything. Then, I heard splashes beside me and I turned to see Cora and Stiles make their way over to where we were. My jaw wouldn't obey with me, it was still in shock, just like the rest of my body.

Cora bent down beside Boyd, checking his pulse and cradling his head, instantly bursting into tears and as an instinct, I slowly wrapped my arms around her. And she immediately accepted the sign of comfort and placed her head on my shoulder, wrapped her arms around me, and started weeping immensely. I quickly tightened my hold on her, letting her sob on my shoulder and snuck a glance at Derek – immediately regretting it because of the entire year I knew Derek, never once have I seen tears in his eyes.

And with Cora, I let a few tears slip out too.

And that, is the end of Currents. My heart still hurts. Review guys!
