Chapter 51
The two men sat side-by-side; Kurt giving Blaine time to absorb these new feelings. He rubbed soothing circles in the small of Blaine's back while Blaine sat with his eyes closed. After a few minutes of silence, Kurt took his hand. Squeezing it gently, he asked, "Are you ready?"
Turning his body towards Blaine, he waited patiently for his husband to open his eyes. Blaine sensed Kurt's gaze and blinked twice to clear the remnants of the tears that clung to his dark eyelashes, then shifted so he could look at Kurt. He found sapphire jewels peering into his honeyed eyes and his breath hitched at the warmth and love that shone there.
"I love you, Kurt. More than anything." Blaine murmured, his voice breaking as he was overcome with the depth of his feeling for this man. "I love how you know me. I love how you support me. I just…"
"I know," Kurt whispered as he placed his soft pink lips to Blaine's. Lingering, he held his breath as Blaine returned the kiss. He felt Blaine part his lips to let the tip of tongue trace the crease of Kurt's mouth. Kurt shivered in response, loving that even the gentlest of kisses would always produce this feeling. Blaine felt his husband shiver and loved knowing that he was the cause of his husband's reflexive action. With that, he moved his free hand to the back of Kurt's head where he could tangle his fingers in Kurt's hair. Tugging and pulling Kurt's hair elicited a wanton moan from the designer who had surrendered to the urgency of Blaine's tongue as it licked and pushed its way into the warm wet hollow of Kurt's own mouth. Tongues met in a familiar dance, and the two men languished in the taste and feel of each other.
Their bodies exploded with the sparks of the physical connection and they drew closer, Blaine pushing Kurt back to lie on the bed as his mouth shifted to ravish his husband's neck and jaw. Feeling his husband writhing beneath him, Blaine began to unbutton Kurt's linen shirt and trailed kitten kisses as the alabaster skin was exposed. Pulling the shirt out, Blaine pushed it back over Kurt's shoulders, baring skin that begged for marking. Blaine placed his lips on the warm skin, just below the collarbone, and began to suck. Nipping and chewing lightly, he urged the dark blood beneath the transparent skin to pool there. Noting Kurt's whine at the pleasant pain, he used his tongue to lick over the damaged skin, soothing the heat from the body's natural reaction. Sensing that Kurt had relaxed from the tender attention to the mark, he bit down and sucked hard, one more time, to ensure the mark would remain for the weekend.
"Mine," he growled as he bit.
Naughty words that spewed from Kurt's mouth confirmed the desired effect and Blaine's mouth released the tortured patch of skin.
He pulled Kurt to sit up with him, observing the obvious bulge in his husband's tight jeans. Palming that bulge, gently pushing against the taut denim covering, he surveyed his wrecked husband and grinned a devilish grin. "Are YOU ready?" he challenged.
"Ohhhh, Blaine," Kurt groaned. "I can't see your parents like this." His now stormy emerald eyes searched his husband's face. "You expect me to go out there after this? You're not going to finish?! What are they going to think?"
Blaine's hand was still massaging the throbbing bugle. "They'll think exactly what it looks like. You should have heard the shower comment they made before you joined us!" Blaine laughed as he related his parents' comments about their showering together.
"Now, let me take care of this," he squeezed, "and we'll go."
"Mmmmmhmmmm," Kurt hummed as his eyes fluttered closed when Blaine unzipped his jeans and wrapped his hand around a leaking and fully engorged cock.
"No underwear, Kurt," Blaine admonished. "And my parents here. Naughty boy." He was stroking, fingers insistent in their pressure and motion, drawing a deep breath from his designer husband. Leaning over, he licked the rosy tip, kissed it, then engulfed his husband, taking him deep and swallowing. That motion alone caused Kurt to arch and thrust, delivering the results of his gushing climax down the open cavern of his beautiful husband's throat. Blaine sucked and swallowed through Kurt's orgasm until he was soft on his tongue. Backing off, he kissed the tip, and ordered, "Stay."
He went to the bathroom where Kurt heard water running. He smiled to himself, knowing his husband was going to take care of him. Blaine returned with a warm washcloth and cleaned Kurt, then tucked him back into his jeans to zip them.
"I'm going to be thinking about this," he palmed Kurt's groin, "all the time we're out with my parents."
"I think I like that," Kurt purred, starting to feel his cock twitch in response to the subtle stimulation. He closed his eyes to give into his husband's ministrations and allowed himself a few moments of self-indulgence.
Returning to reality, Kurt asked. "Won't your parents know what we've been up to? You're not worried about what they'll think?"
He reached for Kurt's shirt to rebutton it. "They aren't dumb, Kurt. I think they'll be able to sense what we've been doing, but I'm in love with my husband and I'm not ashamed of it. I respect them, but I won't hide the fact that I love my husband emotionally and physically."
"I'm still embarrassed. My hair's a mess now, thanks to you and I'm sure my mouth looks like I kissed a beehive," Kurt whined. He stood to look in the vanity mirror. His hand flew to the open collar of his shirt where he could see a part of the now purpling mark. "Blaine Devon Hummel-Anderson!" he turned to address his now-smirking husband. "It's NOT supposed to show!" he barked.
Blaine grinned and reached to draw Kurt to him. Burying his head in the crook of Kurt's neck and shoulder, he offered a slight apology. "I'm sorry, baby, but you are just so sexy and scrumptious, I can't help it." He pressed a kiss onto the warm skin. And another. And another. "I love the feel and taste of you," he uttered between kisses, still tasting Kurt's essence.
Kurt was about to be drawn back in to Blaine's seduction when he realized what Blaine was doing. Just as Blaine's searching mouth found that sensitive spot, Kurt yanked on the tight curls at the nape of Blaine's neck. "Don't you dare…" he threatened breathlessly, without much conviction.
"I don't think you really mean that," Blaine growled as he suckled again against the dark red mark. "Tell me you don't love it," he challenged, sucking harder. "Come on, baby, tell me to stop."
Kurt's moans were both lovely and filthy at the same time. Blaine captured the moans in his own mouth as he covered Kurt's in an open-mouthed kiss, ending in drawing the breath from Kurt. His husband collapsed against him, held by Blaine's strong arms. "Mine," he growled again into Kurt's mouth, finishing with a quick peck to the swollen pink lips of a speechless Kurt.

Kurt and Blaine returned to their living room to find Mr. and Mrs. Anderson already there. Blaine's father was sitting in a chair with one of Blaine's AMA journals in his hand although he wasn't really looking at it. His wife was standing near the bookshelves, looking at the different books and pictures Kurt had carefully arranged there.
Mr. Anderson looked up when he heard the two men enter the room, quietly discussing their plans. His eyes went straight to the fact that they were holding hands. Blaine froze when he saw where his father was staring. Kurt felt his hesitation and raised Blaine's hand to press a kiss to his knuckles.
Looking at Mr. Anderson, the couple saw a smile, then heard the man address them. "I'm happy that you are so comfortable with us that you can act normal," he reassured them. "I'm sorry if I was staring. I've never seen my son physical with anyone and well, it's satisfying, you know, seeing you, Blaine, with someone." "And happy," he added.
"Thanks you Father, that means a lot to me. I don't want to be self-conscious around you and Mother," Blaine explained. "I love Kurt and we are an affectionate couple. I hope you can accept that."
"Of course we do, my dear," Laurel offered, joining the conversation. "It may take some time getting accustomed to the two of you, but we fully support your relationship and we had already agreed before we arrived that we are comfortable with the fact of you being with a man. Seeing the two of you together…" Laurel was getting emotional and couldn't finish so her husband jumped in.
"What your mother is trying to say is that we can see the love you share. Seriously, anyone can see it and feel it. It just feels…..right." Eric Anderson stopped to search for more words. "Please be yourselves. Love each other and don't be afraid to show it."
Blaine was tearing up again and Kurt reached to swipe the falling teardrops from his cheeks. He smiled through his tears and spoke, "Kurt and I are so happy you are here." He rushed to hug his mother and his father stood, inviting a hug as well. Kurt watched the family reconnecting after so many years. His heart was warmed and he felt the tears accumulating and threatening to spill.
"Oh, my blotchy face," he murmured, then laughed when he saw that the others heard him and were laughing, too.
"My vain husband," Blaine offered lovingly to his parents as he flew back to swoop his perfect husband in a tight hold. Kissing the end of Kurt's cute turned-up nose, he grinned as Kurt crinkled it in response. "I love you, baby," he cooed.
"Hmmmmmm." Kurt sighed.
"Ok, you two, don't we have some shopping to do?" Laurel chuckled.
"Yes!" Kurt exclaimed. "Yes, we do!" Linking his arm in hers, he escorted her out the door while Blaine ushered his father out.
Settled in the car, the four adults talked about the plans for the weekend. Kurt described his family Thanksgiving Day traditions and Blaine volunteered his traditions of watching football causing Kurt to gently roll his eyes. Blaine smirked at his husband, while Kurt batted his eyelashes in apology.
As they neared the town, Blaine gave them a mini-tour before driving to the downtown area where he would drop off his mother and Kurt. His mother and father listened as Blaine pointed out the park with the duck pond they liked to visit, the local fairgrounds where they browsed the farmers' market each Saturday morning, Kurt's father's garage, the library with the children's play center, the hospital and sprawling medical center, the city hall, the their favorite coffee shop and they ended up in the quaint town square. Lima had recently encouraged renovation of the downtown area and a number of merchants had opened boutiques, specialty gourmet food stores and small cafes. The streets had been closed and it was now a pedestrian mall, landscaped with trees, flowers and fountains. Benches were scattered along the walk ways and twinkling lights hung in the trees and bushes, creating a magical effect even during the daylight.
Pulling over, Blaine stopped the car and addressed everyone. "Have fun, you two!" he encouraged his husband and mother. "And don't spend all your money in one place!" he playfully lectured, wagging his finger. Kurt's eyes sparkled as he leaned forward to bite at the waving finger. They laughed when he missed so he just leaned across the console to kiss his husband. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Laurel do the same. Blaine saw Kurt's eyes grow wide and looked in the back seat to see his mother and father sharing a tender kiss. His heart swelled as he witnessed the love between his parents.
"Our reservations are at 2:00, so we'll meet you there," Blaine reminded them.
Kurt nodded and mouthed, "I love you."
They heard his dad chuckle and say, "Yes, we all know, Kurt. You can say it out loud." He laughed again, then continued. "Blaine, he loves you." Looking back and forth between his wife and his son's husband, he ordered, all in fun, "Now out and off with you, Kurt and Laurel, I want to get in the front seat and go see where Blaine works!"
The four adults laughed at Eric's excitement to spend time with his son. Waving at the car as it pulled into the traffic, Kurt and Laurel stood watching their men leave. As soon as the car was out of sight, Laurel tugged Kurt's coat sleeve to get his attention. With a gleam in her eye, she giggled, "I've got the black card!"
"Me, too!" Kurt exclaimed. "Oh my, we're going to have some serious fun. Let's go see what kind of damage we can do in the next few hours."
"Oh, Kurt, you and I are going to be spectacular friends! Lead me to the most expensive exclusive boutique."
Kurt took her hand and pulled her toward the avenue of shops. Opening the door of Chez Lisette, Kurt saw his mother-in-law give an approving nod to the shop's décor and hand-selected merchandise. Laurel quickly spied an antique brooch displayed on a center console table and hastened to ask a salesperson to remove it so she could look at it closely. Kurt had turned to browse in another area, fingers tangled in a scarf display.
"It's perfect," he heard Laurel decide on a purchase. "I'll take it."
Kurt selected two scarves, knowing one would bring out the deep brown of Laurel's eyes. Presenting them for purchase, he watched as Laurel exited the store and stood outside the window with her head bowed.
Curious, he approached her quietly. "Laurel?"
"Oh, Kurt, I don't want you to think I'm forward, but I was drawn to this and just had to buy it for you. I so hope you like it." She held out her gloved hand to reveal a delicately carved lily brooch adorned with sparkly diamonds and glittering emeralds.
Kurt's hand flew to his mouth which was now shaped as an "O." His blue-green eyes glistened was tears of joy as his mother-in-law presented him with the most beautiful gesture and believing that she couldn't know that lilies were his favorite flower.
"It's stunning, Laurel," he whispered. "I absolutely love it."
He blinked away the streaming tears. Pulling her into a warm hug, he asked, "How could you know that this is perfect? Lilies are my favorite."
Laurel drew back to look at Kurt. She smiled knowingly and spoke softly. "I saw a picture on your mantel. It was you and a small child. Yours, I am assuming. And you were choosing a bouquet of lilies from a floral vendor in an open market. New York, I'm thinking. And I could see the joy in both your eyes. The way you were looking at each other while he was pointing out flowers." She stopped to watch Kurt. "I just had to get this for you." She hugged him again and whispered, "When you're ready, I'd love to hear about him."
Kurt held her tighter as his heart was lifted. He nodded. "Yes, I want to. When Blaine is with us and Eric can share our story."
Breaking out of the hug, Kurt took a deep breath, then fastened the brooch on his black cashmere jacket. He wrapped his arm around Laurel and laughed. "You're my new best shopping friend," he declared. "So, let's shop!"
Yes, this holiday weekend was turning out so much better than expected. He was so happy for Blaine and his family. And he was happy to be a part of this new family. He couldn't wait to see Blaine and tell him of his mother's miracle gift.
