Short fun fic that demolishes the fourth wall. Enjoy!

Kilgharrah, the Great Dragon, knows all, for reasons undisclosed to the minds of men. As such, there are many mysteries or events that are unknown to us more may seem to not make sense that the Great Dragon is privy to the reasons behind. Fortunately for us, the Great Dragon has chosen to share his wisdom with those who wish to possess the knowledge of the ages and the future of Albion.

Or, Kilgharrah answers letters about some bigger plot holes.

How is it that Camelot's dungeons are so easily broken out of, yet nothing is ever done about their security?

A Very Confused Camelot Guard

"Ah, young mortal. The dungeons possessed by Uther Pendragon and his predecessors were made to hold those who did not have magic coursing through their veins. It is only those who are gifted, or aided by those who are gifted, who are able to reach freedom from behind those steel bars."

Several times over the years Camelot and her surrounding kingdoms are referred to as the "Five Kingdoms." But more than ten Kingdoms have visited Camelot- nearly all of them with a Princess as their sole heir. How is this possible?!

-A Very Frazzled Geographic Advisor

"There are several kingdoms throughout the land of Albion, all of which will one day come under the rule of the Once and Future King. The Five Kingdoms refers to a group of kingdoms that are closest to each other both geographically and political power. It is these five Kingdoms that have amassed the greatest armies and wealth, which one day Arthur must fight to unite together."

Why was Morgause smuggled out of her father's castle and no one seemed to know about her birth except Uther and Gaius?

-Very confused season 2 Morgana

"The Lady Gorlois was long an admirer of the magical arts, and came from a long line of sorceresses and Priestesses. She had promised her first daughter to the priestesses for her to be raised in their ways and Morgause was kept a secret from all except her parents and the physician- Gaius. Even during the Great Purge, Morguase was one of the few Gaius did not give up in exchange for leniency. It was his one act of mercy that may have doomed us all."

You claim that you want to see Arthur be king so that magic can return to the land via Camelot, yet you nearly killed Arthur and scorched half of Camelot to the ground when you were released. Why?

-An Irate Sir Leon

"The anger and sorrow I have borne for the past twenty years is one that no mere mortal can ever understand! Uther Pendragon locked me away and his sins demanded vengeance from the blood of my kin. Arthur would have been fine…probably. "

Who was King before Uther? Sometime it sounds like Uther conquered the Kingdom when he was Arthur's age, other times they make it seem like Camelot has stood for ages, and the Pendragon line with it.

-Geoffery of Monmouth

"Kings have come and gone from Camelot many times throughout my lifetime. Every powerful kingdom makes enemies, and Camelot is no exception. It has stood, as destiny foretold, in wait of the Once and Future King to claim his rightful place on the throne, and to reverse the sins of his father upon the magical people."

Am I still Gaius' apprentice? Or am I just Arthur's manservant? Gaius still sends me on errands, but rarely trains me in anything like he did the first three episodes- I mean months- that I was here. Does Gaius have any other apprentices? Am I allowed to have more than one job?

-Overworked Merlin

"You are Emrys, the greatest sorcerer to ever walk the earth. You are the key to Arthur's destiny, young warlock, for without you the Once and Future King will never succeed in his destiny of uniting Albion."

You said Aithusa was a good sign for Albion and Arthur's future. So why did Aithusa heal Morgana, and why did she stay with her, and never learn to talk? How does Morgana know Aithusa's name?

-Balinor, the confused dragonlord

"The workings of destiny are greater than you can imagine, and we are all tools of fate. Aithusa's path was one that foretold before even I was born, and necessary for the path of Arthur and the young warlock."

Wait, how did I get away from you without you knowing? How did I go missing for three years and neither you nor Merlin bothered to look for me?

-Aithusa

"…I will not be your answer for everything with no payment in return!"

….And…he flew off. Shocker.

Cyrptic old bastard.

Well this was fun to write! I'll probably make this a recurring segment, since its short and easy to write, so leave comments on any Merlin plot holes that you want Kilgharrah to explain (or cryptically not-really explain, since that is what he does best.) As always, thanks for reviewing, reading, favouriting and following! Happy holidays : )
