Secret Wars Spider-Man Part Three Finale
It has been a week since the destruction of the hero base. By now they were all acclimated to their new home and were still licking their wounds from Amon's last attack, but the United Forces were due tomorrow and everyone. And everyone, Korra especially, was itching for some payback.
Jason himself had been getting familiar with his new suit. He found out that he could put items in his suit and could pull them out when in what he dubbed 'suit mode'. But he hadn't been able to test out how far his camouflage went as far as clothing variety, but once this was over he was sure he may not have to wear another coat ever again.
As of right now, most of the heroes were resting for the battle to come, Korra and Mako were currently a Equslist rally for any information that may be useful. Jason himself was on his watch shift outside the entrance to the new hideout, he, Daredevil, and Wolverine had made a three man shift rotation throughout the day.
Jason had made a effort to keep his Spider Sense under the radar of other heroes, not that he didn't trust them, but it was his trump card. He didn't want it slipping out to the super villains somehow, he couldn't think of a way but still.
The sound of voices drew him out of his thoughts, "-doesn't mean that we shouldn't do anything. I mean we can't let Hiroshi keep badmouthing me like this." Korra's voice stated as her and Mako came into view in their disguises.
"He's just saying words Korra. Didn't you ever hear that saying about sticks and stones?" Mako asked as the young adult repelled from the ceiling via webline.
"I'm kinda with the Avatar on this. You guys know how bad they wrote about me in the paper?" he asked as he dropped to the ground and walked along with the two towards the door.
Korra nodded, "Thank you. And unlike you, I have free range to punch the guy in the face." she said, hitting her fist against her open palm for demonstrative purposes.
As the three entered the base, they caught sight of Asami and Bolin playing with Pabu. The small mammal had been a sort of troublemaker around camp, but in the playful sense instead of the literal. At one point he snuck into Jon-li's tent and swooped his heart shaped underwear and dragged them all over camp with the matchstick trying to toast him.
Everyone, Ben in particular, laughed themselves near death.
Asami's attention went directly to the Firebender. Six foot pole O-Rou. You don't want any part of that. he thought as he continued walking past the four as Asami made a pointed question at her boyfriend. Looking over to Wolverine who was sitting against one of the makeshift building, he looked up and nodded before going on his shift.
Jason continued his pace towards the large shack the heroes had been using as a command center, opening the door he saw that Captain and Cyclops were discussing something. "If we all hit Amon at once we could definitely take him down, so why aren't we doing it?" the visor wearer asked.
"It's not that simple. Even if we manage to capture Amon they would try their hardest to take him back. And if we killed him they would just put his right hand man in charge." the Captain pointed out.
Spider-Man decided to join in, "But Amon is the only guy we know who can currently take people's bending away. But who knows? He could have trained someone else to take his place if that happened. He's crafty." he chimed in, making the other two heroes look his way. "Um...should I go?"
The Captain shook his head, "No you're right. Amon has had time to think about about every scenario. He primly has a contingency plan for everything." he said, running his eyes through the holes in his mask.
Cyclops let out a sigh, "Yeah. But still I want to do something other than pretend we're dead." he said, leaning back against the table. Ever since the destruction of the original base, Amon had been spreading that the heroes were defeated and on the run.
What was surprising is that a good number of people had been outraged by the news, the people who had been saved by one of the heroes at one point or another. The outrage made a divide in the nonbender community, the ones who just wanted to be heard, and the more extreme who wanted worldwide equality.
"Korra was telling me that Amon plans to spread his 'peace' all across the world. There's no way he could have that many people could he?" Spider-Man asked with some concern. He knew that the world was making a effort to dismantle the Equalist party, the only place left with any was Republic City, but still.
The two leaders looked at one another, "That's a low chance but..." Cyclops started.
"But you may have just given us a idea Spider-Man." Captain said, turning to large map on the table. Scanning over the parchment, his eyes trained on the Equalist barracks, a large training base near the edge of the city that the Equalist Troops were currently occupying. "We've been trying to think of a target to hit just to show Amon we're not out of this fight. Taking the fight to his troops is the perfect statement." he stated.
Jason was silent for a moment, "I gave you...you of everyone, a idea? Quick somebody call the papers!" he joked.
"First thing's first. 'We need to meet up with General Iroh." Captain stated, his gaze locking onto the map's Bay Area.

It had been an interesting few weeks for Xang. He had just finished up training at his camp a month ago, and a week after he had been shipped into General Iroh's company. And from what he heard about the other General, Bumi, he was fairly relieved at that.
But after seeing the reports of what had been happening in the city, he would be lying if he said that he wasn't nervous. His training had consisted of him fighting human opponents, not mech tanks and meta humans. But Iroh had worked hard on his strategies and Xang was trained to trust ha commanders.
The Earthbender sighed as he rolled over on his bunk, before he left his base, he gave Akiko a call and asked her where everyone was. Kong and Lee both left the city a full week before the shit hit the fan, Akiko herself got out the day it happened, but no one had seen or heard from Jason.
Not that it worried him, he knew that Jason was smarter than all of them combined. He probably did the smart thing and found a place to hold up until this all blows over.
Jason was no hero, Xang knew that.
The Earthbender shook his head and shut his eyes, "He's so gonna owe me for saving his ass." he said with a confident smile. He was part of the United Forces, no one could beat them.

"Ok so how can you tell?" Jason asked his companion. He and Daredevil had volunteered to take lookout duty for the United Forces. The pair had been at the docks for a few hours now and the rest of the heroes were due any minute, their job was to warn them of the ship was early.
"I can hear what a ship sounds like so the fog is not a problem." Yuji said, looking out towards the water with a bored look on what his visible face allowed.
"No I mean how do you know that it'll be the UF? Couldn't it be like a cargo ship or something?" Jason asked.
"I can smell what the hull of the ship is made of. Iron is usually what cargo ships are made of, steel is what UF cruisers are comprised of." he explained, flicking a rock into the water and 'watching' the crib rations the mostly still water made.
Jason was silent for a moment, "You should have called yourself something other than Daredevil. I mean if you can do that, maybe Five, for like the senses?" he suggested.
Yuji have him a look that questioned his seriousness. "First off, it would be four. Second, why would I want the bad guys to know I'm blind?" he asked. It was true that no one knew that Daredevil was actually blind outside a few supervillains and heroes, no street level thugs did though.
"What are they gonna do? Shout really loud when they see you. Oh wait! I got it! HellHound." he suggested as a new superhero name.
"...that's actually pretty good." Yuji admitted with a shrug. "But my hearing is the key, not smell." he pointed out. "Besides it sound like o have a sidekick that's dressed as a-" he stopped himself abruptly.
"Like a what? A puppy?" Jason asked.
"Can you be mute for one second?" Daredevil asked as he tried to focus on what his sonar was picking up.
It was Jason's turn to give him a look, "You realize that this is me your talking to right?" he asked before looking to Daredevil was. All he could see is fog at the moment, but the way Yuji was acting, there may be something else out there.
The sound of footsteps broke the slice, making the young adult look back to see all the other heroes approaching them. Suddenly Daredevil stood up beside him, "It's them. The Untied Forces!" he said excitedly.
The other heroes started to smile at the news, finally they could take the fight to Amon and stop this once and for all. But Mako wasn't entirely convinced, he scanned the wharf and docks of the city for any Equalists. "Where's the resistance? Amon would know that they were coming right?" he asked, making everyone else take notice.
"Stay alert people." Captain ordered as he took his shield off his back and onto his arm.
Spider Sense is silent...I don't like this. Jason thought cautiously. When things like this happen, it makes Jason feel like his bad luck is actually spreading to people close to him somehow. "Anyone else hear that?" Wolverine asked, unsheathing his claws.
Daredevil pulled out his billy clubs, looking up towards the air.
KABOOM!
The sound of explosions rang out through the air from the water, looking out to the United Forces ships he saw columns of water shoot upwards into the air. "Mines!" Cyclops called out as he ran to the edge of the water and shot a constant beam across the water in front of the ships, destroying the explosives in that area.
"Korra, you get in the water and try and clear a path for them to the-" the mutant stopped when he heard it. The sound resembled that of bee buzzing in the air, but instead of a single insect it sounded like someone kicked their hive.
The heroes looked up to the sky, passing the skyscrapers where vehicles that were small, pairs of wings on each side and a rotor in the front. "When does Hiroshi have the time to keep making evil things!?" Bolin asked as Korra dove into the water.
"Heroes take them down!" Iron Man rallied as he erupted from the ground with Thor and Phoenix and the Human Torch right behind him.
Spider-Man looked at the biggest person there, in this case Ben Grim, "How's your throwing arm champ?" he asked. The Thing gave him a grin before leaning back as his arm cranes back with a open palm. Jason jumped into the air and onto his open palm as one of his legs barely left the ground.
Ben threw him with all his might, sending the young adult into the air like rocket along with the others. As the other heroes who could actually fly took out the aircrafts, Jason could only fire a webline to one of the passing planes and go along for the ride.
Climbing up the webline, he crawled along the tail and under the belly of the plane, stopping a few feet away from the rotor before firing webs at the propeller and making the plane into a large paperweight. As the pilot bailed, the plane started to spin out of control, Jason ran down the belly of the plane and leapt as it turned upside down.
Looking down towards the sea, he saw another plane flying down towards one of the ship's ahead of him. Landing on the wing of the plane, the aircraft dipped down from the impact. Sliding down the wing of the plane, he pulled his leg back and kicked it into the propeller, breaking it off the plane entirely.
"You may want to bail dude." he said as he ran over the cockpit. Leaping off the wing, he was caught in midair by Iron Man under his arms, "Thanks, last time I did a high dive it kinda turned to a belly flop." he explained, thinking to his 'swan dive' when Amon attacked the arena.
"Did the thought that this is a bad idea ever cross your mind?" he asked as his shoulder folded apart and fired a missile at the wing of one of the planes, sending it crashing into the water between the ships.
Spider-Man shrugged, "Meh, I'm used to masking bad decisions." he said as he saw Thor alam his hammer down on the wing of one of the planes, causing the aircraft to go down and crash into the water as well.
He looked at the damaged ships, two of the original three were already sinking and the last one wasn't in and good condition. Jason couldn't help but grit his teeth in anger, after all the hard work they put in to try and stop Amon this is what it got them.
Slipping out of Iron Man's grasp, he fired a web to one of the retreating planes as one of the bombs detonated on the crowsnest of the final ship.
I'm not letting these guys win without learning something of my own. Jason thought as he summoned a Spider Tracer to his palm and thee it to the tail of the plane in front of him. Suddenly the aircraft banked left in front of a building, "Ok i admit this was a bad-"
Wham!
Jason found himself smacking against the sheer glass that covered this side of the skyscraper. What's worse is that his webline was still attached to the plane, causing him to slide across the glass with a aloud squeaking noise.
Letting go of the webline, he stayed against the glass for a few minutes as he felt where the Spider Tracer was going until it was out of range and sight. "Well...that happened." he muttered as he lifted himself off the glass and rubbed the side of his head that came into contact with the glass.
Looking at the bay, he grimaced when he saw their reinforcements' destruction. "Perfect. That's just what I needed." the hero muttered before shooting a webline to a skyscraper and swinging down towards the docks where the other heroes were gathered.
A young man was being supported by Korra with one arm, his left sleeve was completely missing with a minor burn on his flesh, Jason recognized him from when he saved him and Firelord Zuko months ago. General Iroh of the United Forces.
"Are you hurt sir?" Captain asked with concern as he took Korra's place in supporting his weight.
"I'm fine Cap. Just a little scratched up." the general said. It was a little strange to hear the Captain of all people call him 'sir' but Iroh didn't show protest. The general looked over to the black costumed hero with a small smile, "Nice to see you again Spider-Man...I hope we don't keep meeting like this."
The hero put his hands on his sides with a smirk under his mask, "I don't see that happening anytime soon jarhead. Come on, let's get you somewhere safe." he said, the Captain nodding in agreement before leading the general towards the large sewer drain they came from.

In the wreckage of the United Forces fleet, a plank in the water held one particular Earthbender. His eyes groggily opened, "Aw...shit." Xang grumbled as he rose his head from the plank.
"Hold it! Don't move!" the Earthbender looked up to see a barge with Chi Blockers on the edge of the ship. Their gloves leveled towards him threateningly, two of them pulled out animal restraint pole with wired loops on the end of them. Hooking them around his arms, they lifted him onto the barge where he was promptly chi blocked.
Lifted onto his knees, his head was pulled back to see Amon himself, behind him were other benders from his platoon, "Do not worry. You shall be cleansed after this." he said, moving behind the scared Earthbender.
But as scared as Xang was, he was still a United Forces graduate. "Fuck you scar face." he growled out as Amon placed his thumb on his forehead, accepting his fate.

"We anticipated Amon's Mech Tanks as well as his Chi Blockers. But these aircraft are another story." Iroh explained as Dr. Chapal attended to his wounds, a few of the heroes gathered around him to listen to the general.
Korra nodded in agreement, "Whatever plan we come up with, Amon had met us almost every step of the way." she said sadly.
"We've been using freedom fighter tactics for the past month to combat him, it's put a few kinks in his entire operation as a whole, but still we need to come up with a more solid strategy and more people if we want to win." The Captain added. He knew that you could have as little as ten people to hurt the enemy, but without the right support, that was all they could do.
Iroh looked down at the ground before meeting the eyes of the group, "Amon may have countered us at every move, but we're not out of the fight yet." he said with determination in his voice.
"I like this man's attitude!" Bolin exclaimed with excitement. "How are we not out of the fight yet?" he asked, wanting to know exactly how he came to that conclusion.
Chapal wrapped a bandage around Iroh's arm before he slid off the table, "A second wave of reinforcements is already on it's way along with S.H.I.E.L.D. But they'll suffer the safe fare as my fleet of we don't take out those aircraft. Do you have a radio I could use?" Iroh asked.
Korra smirked with triumph, "I know just the man for the job." she said.
A few minutes later, the heroes were gathered around the hobo who brought them there as he plugged in his morse code radio. "And who is the recipient of this top secret message?" he asked as he cracked his hands.
"Commander Bumi, leader of the second wave of the United Forces." he said, causing Jason's eyes to widen. He hadn't seen his uncle his Christmas, he occasionally wrote to his uncle but still, this wasn't the conditions that he didn't picture meeting him in again.
As Iroh relayed the message to hold at Red Sand Island, the heroes led the general to the war table that they had set up. "We were planning on hitting their barracks today, take out as many of the troops as we could." the Captain explained as he pointed to the highlighted portion of the map.
Spider-Man pointed to the mountain range surrounding the outskirts of the northern part of the city, "I saw the planes head this direction. They couldn't have a facility to house them in the city so they its be somewhere out here." he reasoned.
Iroh nodded, "If we attack both of them at once then Amon will be defenseless. We can leave at dawn tomorrow." he said decisively, getting nods of agreement from the others. Asami in particular had a set look on her face, she looked like she was ready to end this, and Jason admired that.
Tomorrow. This ends. he thought positively.
"Wait." Korra said, making everyone turn to her. "Look I know that this is a good plan. But I can't do it. We've been running and hiding from Amon since this started and I'm done with it. I'm going to take the fight to him." she said, her eyes showing her determination.
From the looks on everyone's faces, it was clear that not everyone completely agreed with her decision. Spider-Man was the one who finally broke the silence, "You may be right." he finally said, making everyone look at him. "With us attacking his air support and his troops, he'll lose whatever tricks he has up his sleeve. This could work." he said.
The others seemed to think it over, "My grandfather trusted Avatar Aang. So ill thrust your judgement. But it still isn't wise to attack him alone." Iroh stated.
Mako stepped forward and walked beside the Avatar, "She won't be alone. I'll go with her." he said, putting a hand on the avatar's shoulder to show his support.
"Then it's settled. Tomorrow. We bring this war to a end." Iroh stated with determination in his voice.

The young adult could barely sleep that night, the idea of not having to wake up to the smell of mildew, to actually sleep in a bed, and be able to be Jason O-Rou instead of Spider-Man the whole day. He missed being able to act normal, to not worry about if Equalists attacking them.
He'd get to see his friends again, his family, and have a chance to see Akiko again. But first thing was first, takedown Amon from his pedestal, then see his loved ones.
The heroes decided to divide into three teams. Bolin, Asami, and Iroh would attack the airstrip. Korra and Mako would take down Amon. And the rest of the heroes would draw the Equalist's attention to the barracks on the near outside of town.
Spider-Man watched as Team Avatar bid each other well, he wanted to go with one of them honestly. But it wasn't his part to play, instead he joined the heroes, walking beside Wolverine and Captain as they made their way down the large pipe that lead towards the edge of the city. "Farewell valiant heroes!" the hobo who led them there in the first place called out.
The young adult couldn't help but see the irony that only the wise homeless actually saw him as a hero when almost everyone else saw the opposite. It was about a hour of walking, everyone has been doing that a lot lately, before the heroes stopped in the middle of a tunnel.
"Here we are. Right under them. Hulk, if you would." Iron Man said, the giant pushing past him before cracking his neck. The green Goliath crouched down as far as he could go before launching himself directly up through the ground and topside.
The rest of the heroes followed the heavy hitter through the hole in time to see him get knocked over their heads. The Hulk slid across the concrete before slowing to a stop, Jason looked over and he swore his jaw dropped.
Gathered in front of the main barracks was a line of supervillains, Dr. Doom, Magneto, the Enchantress and the Wrecking Crew, Kang, and Dr. Octopus all waiting for them. "Heroes." Doom started, "Surrender now, and we may be merciful." he said.
The Thing pushed through the crowd, "Not a chance metal mouth. IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" he declared as he and the other Heroes charged behind him, Thing met doom as the other heroes clashes around them.
Ben rammed his fist into Doom's chest, sending his feet sliding against the concrete ground. The dictator changed his gauntlets as Ben once more charged forward, as he was about to fire, his back and slammed with a hard hammer like object.
The impact from the blow felt from Mr. Fantastic sent Dr. Doom fly lying forward as The Thing swung a uppercut, the force sent him into the air where he was promptly blasted by the Human Torch down back to the ground where he was promptly hit with a Invisible force into the side of the Barracks. The Fantastic Four charged after their enemy as the Hulk jumped overhead.
The lot was mostly deserted except for a few trucks, the Goliath grabbed two of the vehicles by their bumpers. Turning back to the future Conquerer who floated in midair as Iron Man's repulsers clashed with Kang's blaster that folded out the top of his chair.
Throwing the trucks at the time traveler, they collided with his shield, giving Iron Man the opportunity to blast Kang back towards Ms. Marvel who side swiped him, knocking Kang from his chair and onto the rooftop of a nearby building as the remains of the truck fell from the sky.
Just as the metal was about to hit the ground, it stopped in midair before being pulled towards Magneto and breaking into pieces to block Cyclop's' eye blasts. As the X-men leader free his attention, Iceman slid around on the ground, using one hand to make ice to slide on, while firing ice at him with his free hand.
The brotherhood leader shot the metal shield at Cyclops, sending him crashing into Phoenix with a hint of pain from the both of them. The two traveled past Wolverine and Thor as they battled against the Enchantress and the Wrecking Crew.
That justly left Spider-Man to battle Doc Ock, later of the two charging towards the hero and knocking him into the hole the Heroes emerged from. "How fitting that you shall die where you belong, beneath the ground." Doc said as two of his tentacles carried him and the other two jabbed towards the young adult.
Spider-Man leapt above the first one and grasped the second, rolling over it and releasing it before falling to the ground. "Well how rude Ock. I get this swanky new getup and you don't say a thing!" he said jokingly.
He fired globs of webbing at the villain, Otto lowered himself back to the ground and threw all his tentacles it'd towards the young adult. Spider-Man dove to his left, dogging the arms as he landed on his hands and springing himself into the wall.
"Do you ever shut up!?" the ex scientist exclaimed as he swung his extra arms through the air, knocking a Spider-Man off the wall and tumbling across the ground.
The hero slowly got up onto his knees, "Sorry, my fans expect a certain amount of quippage in each battle. And I'm behind quota this week." he said as he dodged a metal arm that would have hit his head.
Hopping onto his feet, Ock attached his upper tentacles to the ceiling by his claws and lifted himself into the ceiling while his lower arms shot forward forward, the hero jumped above the two only to have Ock's boots collide with his face as his legs where grabbed and his back slammed into the ground.
Tossing the hero aside Doc Ock dropped to the ground. Spider-Man quickly recovered and charged. Ock swiped both of his lower arms towards the hero's legs as one of his upper tentacles shot forward over his shoulder.
The young man leapt above the two that aimed for his legs, he then knocked the third tentacle away with his forearm as he used his other hand to fire a webline at Otto and pull himself close. The arm he used to block the reticle swung it's first forward into his face, the force knocking Otto onto his back.
His arms pushed himself off the ground and back onto his feet ready to fight.
His arms shot out towards the hero one after another, Spider-Man cartwheeled out of the way of each arm, dogging them as best he could. Pressing off his hands, his body turned upside down in midair, raising his hands he fired globs of web balls at his chest.
The ex-scientist clutched his chest in pain, the bruises already forming from the impact of the projectiles. Spider-Man meanwhile fired two weblines past his shoulders and metal arms and pulled them back, taking a few steps for good measure before shooting himself forward.
Doc looked up in time to see a pair of feet slam into his face. The force sent him skidding across the floor, Otto struggled to raise his head before falling back to the floor unconscious. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, and still not word about the new suit. Dissapointing, didn't your mother ever tech you-"
The floor was suddenly yanked out from under him, he was slammed against the Nets pipes running along the ceiling and then the floor before being tossed down the tunnel. "My mother was a saint! Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important places to be." Otto said as his four arms grabbed sections of ceiling with their pinchers before pulling and taking off the rock ceiling.
The tunnel was now blocked, and Ock had gotten away. Jason sat up from the ground and looked at the cave in, "Places to be...why do I have a sinking feeling about that?" he asked himself before leaping up through the hole and seeing that the battles where over.
Magneto and Dr. Doom where absent from the gathered villains in the center of the lot. "So anyone else feel off about this or is it just me?" Jason asked as he joined the heroes surrounding their enemies.
Iron Man and the Captain shared a look before turning to the group of Amon's henchmen, "So, anyone wanna share?" Iron Man asked. None of the prisoners spoke a word, "Ok then. Phoenix?"
The fiery haired mutant stepped forward and focused her attention on the wrecking crew, out of all the ones captured they where the easiest minds to probe. Scanning over what they knew and overheard, her eyes snapped open in surprise. "Amon captured the Airbenders! And he's going to take their bending away at the Pro Bending stadium!" she exclaimed.
Jason's heart leapt into his throat at the news, before anyone could say anything, he leapt into the air and fired a webline into the air and swung away. Ok think! No time to panic, you can't panic! Asami and them must be at the airfield by now, so Mako and Korra may be taking care of Amon right now. he mentally reasoned.
The hero fell to the ledge of a building, sprinting over the tiles his momentum made him go flying off the ledge. Shooting a webline to his right he dipped down over the streets before going into the air and shooting another line to the row of six story buildings on his left.
He needed to get to the arena.
(000)
Spider-Man flicked his wrists out in front of him, shooting two weblines to buildings on either side of him and pulling the webs down. The momentum he carried made him zoom through the air to the top of a towering building, landing on the pointed top.
Looking down to the road that led to the arena, Jason cursed when he saw the Mech Tanks standing guard out front near the entrance. He wanted to swing in there, punch Amon a few times for good measure, and save his family, but he needed to do this covertly for the moment.
Leaping from his perch, he fired a web downward to the side of a building. The line carried him through the air before he attached another thread to the edge of a building, angling himself out towards the bay.
Jumping off the end of the webline, he dove down into the water. He began to swim, the suit making his hands webbed to increase his speed. Hmmm...never thought of that before. Maybe I should have made a Spider Suit for the water with that? he thought as he rose to the surface for air before diving back under and swimming to one of the arena's supports and climbing up the side of the large structure.
Climbing in through a window, he looked both ways before sprinting down the hallway. He was in the upper part of the stadium where only maintenance was allowed, so he figured there wouldn't be many people in this section of the stadium.
Opening a door, he found himself in the catwalks, the Equalists had put up a number of banners with the Equalist symbol on each of them. The stage where games took place on was packed to the brim just as the stands. In front of the arena was a stage with s depiction of Amon on it. "Ok, can't draw attention to myself, less I get myself caught." he muttered as he ran along the rim of the catwalk.
Just like at the revelation, the stage was flooded with smoke as Amon rose from a trap door in the floor. The crowed cheered as their savior came into the light. Jason couldn't help but curse under his breath, Korra and Mako may not have gotten him, but he was all too happy to take a crack at him.
"Thank you all for joining me on this historic occasion." Amon said with gratitude as he rose his hand up to the crowd. "When I was a boy, a firebender struck down my entire family, and left me scarred." he began, telling his tale once more. "That tragic event began my quest to Equalize the world."
"That's a lie Amon!" a famine voice called out, making the leader snap his head upwards to the referee stand beside the arena. Korra and Mako unmasked before him proudly, "Or should I call you Noatak?" she asked.
The crowd began to stir, "Calm down everyone, let's hear what the Avatar had to say." he said, deciding to let her speak.
Korra looked out to the crowd, "Amon has been lying to you. The Spirits didn't give him the power to take people's vending away. He's a blood bender!" she said, pointing to the masked man. The crowd actually seemed to believe her, almost everyone knew what blood benders where capable of.
Oh that hypocritical son of a bitch! Just for this, I'm gonna slap him. Literally, I will slap him. Jason thought as he got into position above Amon's stage.
"How desperate you must be to make up such tales Avatar." Amon stated calmly.
"Your family wasn't killed by a firebender." Korra said, "His father was Yakkone. And his brother is councilman Tarrlock." she explained. Spider-Man was actually being surprised by what he was hearing, Tarrlock was a piece of garbage sure, but still this is one weird family if this is what his brother and dad do.
Amon let out a short laugh, "What a amusing tale. But I will show you the truth." he said as he pulled his hood down and undid the back of his mask.
Slowly, Amon began to remove his mask, Jason couldn't help but gasp when he saw Amon's face, it had a burn on it. Apparently everyone thought so too and gasped at the scar that covered a good portion of his face. "This is what a firebender did to me." he said as he pointed to his face.
Jason has to admit, actually seeing that scar, he could understand why Amon has done what he did. Hell he actually may have done the same if he was in his shoes. "I wouldn't leave yet avatar. You'll miss the main event." Amon said as another section of the floor rose, revealing the Airbenders.
And that's my cue. Jason thought as he dropped from his position onto the stage. But before he did, he had to say something. "Your face looks like bacon!"
Landing I n front of Amon with his back to the Airbenders, he couldn't help but sme at his own joke, "Listen up, step away from the endangered species and maybe I won't make you have to get a new mask." he threatened as he raised his fists for a fight.
The crowd voiced their displeasure at the sight of the hero as the Chi Blockers began to circle around him. "Wait." Amon said, making the men and women freeze and look at Amon. "Spider-Man, I had hoped that you wouldn't side yourself with the benders in this conflict." he stated as he stepped towards the hero.
"Really? Couldn't imagine why." he said as he kept his guard up. He didn't trust Amon for a second, even if he had his sympathy.
"Spider-Man, when the Green Goblin attacked the city, you saved me along with the city council members. I haven't forgotten that." he said, making the hero's mind flash back to that fateful night. "Spider-Man, I offer you what this city has never had, a chance to be a real hero to the people. By my side. If you let me cleanse the Airbenders, then you are more than welcome." he offered, making the crowd mutter in bewilderment before calling at the young adult to take his offer.
Spider-Man narrowed his eyes, "Amon don't you see what your doing? Your using this power that you have to doc tact what to do with other people's lives. Isn't that why you do this? To not let this happen?" he asked, making the crowd fall silent. "Look, you need to give this power up before you go past the point of no return."
Amon's eyes narrowed behind his mask, "Do you take me for a fool? Who amongst any of the benders or heroes has ever wanted to give up their powers?" he asked, causing the crowed to nugget in agreement.
Spider-Man raised a goat to his chest before he spoke proudly. "I have. Because I've learned time and time again that with great power, there must also come great responsibility." he said, causing the entire place to go silent at his words. "God knows I've wanted to hang up my webs and live a normal life. But I can't do that, I refuse to do that because I can't-no, I won't let any innocents get hurt when I'm able to do something about it." he said with steel running through his veins as he spoke.
Amon sighed, "Then I'm sorry. Take him." he ordered, making the Chi Blockers rush him. Spider-Mam covered two of them with webbing, making them fall to the floor. His sixth sense made him lean back to avoid a left hook from one of the men. He stepped forward with one leg and rose his other knee into the Equalist's side, making them clutch the area before being struck on his chin by a fist.
Two more charged towards him at once, one of them swung a wide kick at him, like before Spider-Man leaned backwards, lifting his leg up and landing a kick to the side of their head as he balanced himself on his other leg. He tucked the outstretched leg in before shooting it forward into the second chi blocker's gut.
As more of Amon's lacked ean forward, they where blasted by fire along with their leader off the stage by Mako and Korra. The three ran to the Airbenders and began to free them, "We really must stop meeting like this." the hero said as he undid the kid's bindings. "Everyone, please fallow your nearest Avatar to the exit." he said as Korra led them towards the exit.
Crashing through the door, Korra shut the door behind the as the Airbenders caught their breath, "We need to get to Pema and the baby." Tenzin stated.
"Prison Break!" Meelo shouted in his own way of agreement.
Spider-Man looked at Korra, "I'll make sure they get out of here. You take on crispy." he said. Korra nodded in agreement before the two split up. Tenzin led the way through the building, "Anyone else in the room? Guards? Prisoners?" the webhead asked as they turned a corner.
"Two guards and Lin Bei-Fong. We need to get her out as well." he said as they approached the door. The young man charged ahead of him and tore down the metal door and turned. The room was set up so that there was cages running alongside two of the walls with a window on the far end.
Two Chi Blockers were guarding the cage where both Lin and Pema where sitting. The four looked to the in time for two weblines to attach to the Chi Blocker's chest and pulled into a clothesline. Walking to the door, Jason felt a immense sense of relief, "Ladies, and baby, how about we move you to your upgraded suite?" he asked before tearing the cage off it's hinges.
The two grown women stood, they both flashed a look of shock, "Spider-Man look-" a metal tentacle collided with the side of his head, sending him into the far wall.
As the tentacle retracted, Spider-Man shakily stood up to see Doc Ock on the other end of the room, standing in front of the now open window. "Oh that's just perfect." the hero growled out as he stood, he looked towards the Chief of police, "Go! Get them out of here!" he ordered.
Lin nodded and pulled the mother towards the exit where her family was awaiting her before they left. "Ah yes, always the hero Spider-Man. How nobel to get the defenseless civilians out of the way. You really can't stand seeing anyone hurt can you?" he asked as all his arms shot towards the hero.
"I can learn to make a exception." he stated as he leapt forward past the arms, landing a strike on Ock's face, he didn't stay in one place for long, he sidestepped around dock as he ducked under one of his tentacles, swinging his knee into Doc's gut.
He drew his arm back before shooting his open palm to the side of the ex-scientist's head. The blow dazed him long enough for Spider-Man to leap over Ock's head and fire black webbing in his eyes, wrapping it around his head in the process.
Ok, I really hope this doesn't cause permit ate brain damage...actually now that I think of it, I still haven't gotten him back for burying all that crap in me when his lab was flooding. he thought angrily.
Moving behind the scientist, he tucked all the metal limbs under his arm and pulled, "No wait! What are you-GAAAAAHHH!" Otto cried out in pain at the feeling of his metal link being severed forcefully.
One by one, the arms snapped from their position on his harness. Throwing the extra limbs aside. Doc Ock feel to his knees, being webbed up by the hero for good measure. "And with that good sir. I leave you." he said before walking away and webbing the door shut behind him.
"Ok. I'm sure Tenzin has gotten the rest of them to safety so-" Spider-Man reasoned as he traveled down the halls, only to hear Korra scream. He broke into a full sprint and turned the corner past the training gym to see Mako on the ground, and Amon moving in on a limping Korra.
Thinking fast, he shot webbing at the leader, Amon looked past Kirra and easily saw them coming. Amon raised his hand out past Korra. Jason recognized the feeling of his body betraying him, Korra was right, he is a bloodbender. "You've both been pests long enough. And it's time I've felt with the both of you." he stated as he stepped forward towards the pair.
"No!" Korra proclaimed as she threw a fist out to Amon.
Instead of fire like Jason expect, it was air.
The force from the blast knocked Amon back down the hall. The act both shocked Spider-Man and broke him free of Amon's control, he ran up beside Korra, "I can Airbend?" she asked as she looked down at her fist. Her eyes locked on Amon, "I can airbend!"
"Let's put it to work then shall we?" he asked as he pelted Amon with a barrage of Web shots, making him block the projectiles as Korra hit him with wave after wave of Airbending blasts. Amon got closer and closer to the window at the end of the hall with each blast. When his back was practically up against the glas, he threw both his arms out towards the pair, making them freeze.
The feeling of pins and needles going through his body almost made Spider-Man scream in pain, but he big back. Just gotta...get one more shot in! he thought as his mind processed the pain. The suit, reading his thought, fired a glob of webbing from his chest to Amon's mask, blinding him.
Korra took this opportunity to kick her foot out, sending a wave of Airbending with enough force to launch him out the window.
The two were silent, the only noise was their heavy breathing. "We...we did it." Korra said with a smile.
"Nah...you did." he said, looking over at the avatar as Mako began to stand behind them. Korra suddenly felt the weight of the battle and slouchedto her side, Mako was there in a I stand, holding her on his one shoulder.
The sound of the crowd outside made the three heroes run to the window. "Oh son of a bitch...he lost his bacon." Spider-Man joked as he saw Amon in a funnel of water lifting him in midair. His mask, along with his scar was gone. And his loyal fans were all outside the stadium to see. "Korra. How's your right hook?" he asked.
She gave him a triumphant smirk, "Got a good one left." she said.
The young man fired a webline at Amon while he was looking at the crowd. He began to run back down the hall, pulling Amon back towards the window that he was sent out of as Korra gently pushed Msko aside and wound her fist back.
The last thing Noatak saw before losing consciousness was Korra's fist.

"Wow...and I thought Verrick was flashy." Jason muttered from atop the Pro-Bending arena. Hanging in the air above the city wa the S.H.I.E.L.D hellicarrier. A mobile fortress that put airships to shame, the troops had arrived just in time to take Noatak/Amon into custody along with his brother who was on Air Temple Island.
Iron Man nodded beside him, "When Fury wants to make a statement, he does it loudly." he said in agreement. He looked down to where Avatar Korra was being welcomed by councilman Tenzin.
Spider-Man informed both him and the Captain that Amon had succeeded in taking her vending away. "She'll get the help she needs. Until then, we all need to pick up the slack. The Captain stated on the other side of Spider-Man.
Jason stood up from his perch and turned to the heroes, "So it's over. The Secret War... kinda feels weird that I'm gonna go back to fighting muggers and triads after this." he stated, glancing back out towards the city. He just helped save the world, and he was still letting that sink in.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to the Captain, "Spider-Man, you did good. But don't start thing that taking care if street level threats is all your good for. Your a hero son, remember that." she said, making a smile grow on the young adult's face.
"Thanks...both of you. Look, I kinda need to go check on some things. See you guys around?" he asked as he turned back to the ledge of the building.
"Definitely kid." Iron Man stated before Spider-Man Sean dived off the building and fired a web to one of the street lamps and swung back towards the city.
"So what do us think? Was I right?" Tobi asked as his faceplate lifted up to show his face.
The Captain smiled with a nod, "He has a lot of potential. He's got experience, and the fighting skills to back it up. He's going to be one of the greatest." he said with a sure tone in his voice.

The Air Temple Island remained surprisingly untouched for being the base of Amon's operations. The only place that seemed to be occupied was the temple where Tarrlock was stored at. The airbending family had decided to rest at home as they waited for Bumi to arrive with reinforcements.
Pema was currently looking down at Rohan beside Tenzin, "You think he's ok?" she asked, looking down at the infant. She had her mind on her nephew since they left, sometimes she feared the worst could have happened to him, but Tenzin reassured her that he would be ok.
The rest of the family, plus Team Avatar, occupied the living room, "Jason will be fine Pema. He's smart, he probably got out of the city." Korra pointed out. In truth she was also somewhat worried for her friend, Jason may have been gifted with his mind, but he honestly looked like he would never win a fight.
Mako nodded, "Yeah, it may be a while before we see him again." he said, Bolin and Asami nodding in agreement with their reasoning.
"Oh wow, I'll try not to be hurt by that." the entire room turned to the entrance to the parlor where Jason stood, in his usual garb but with the addition of hair on his face. Aist the entire room rushed him with Pema and Tenzin in front.
Pema and Tenzin wrapped him up in a almost bone breaking hug, "Oh thank the spirits your alight. I-I-I was so worried." Pema said as she planted loving kisses on her nephew's forehead.
The kids tacked him as they said how much they worried, missed him, and was so glad to see him. After prying them off him, Bolin helped him up and each of them have him a one arm hug, "Good to see you man." Bolin said, knocking the base of his hand against the hero's shoulder.
Korra pulled him into a hug, "I'm so glad your safe." she said before pulling away and Asami replacing her.
Jason never really noticed until this point, but they where all very genuine with their relief. It wasn't like saying that they missed him when he hadn't seen him for a month, but they actually worried about him.
If they only knew. He thought to himself as he looked at the bundle in Pema's hands. "Jason, let me introduce you to your new cousin. Rohan." she said, lifting the infant's face up to meet his. Jason smiled before lightly poking his nose, making the baby smile and gurgle in approval.
Jason then looked at Korra and have her a look of sympathy, "I heard what happened. I'm so sorry Korra." he said, making the Avatar's head bow slightly at the reminder.
"Yeah well...Katara is the best healer in the world, we're all heading down south to see what she can do to help." she explained.
Jason nodded at the plan, "I'd come with you...but I've kinda been sleeping in garbage piles for the last month-" he said, making everyone take a cautious step back.
"For a month!?" Pema asked in shock. "Eat, shower, rest. Now." she ordered, poking the young adult in the chest.
"Y-yes ma'm."

After doing the bidding of his aunt, he emerged from the bathroom in time to see his uncle's ship pull in climate to the island. By the time he reached the docks, he was giving the kids his best impression of a howler monkey. "Jason my boy! I'm so glad your ok!" he said, wrapping his nephew up in a almost bone crushing hug like before.
"Good to see you too uncle Bumi." Jason said as he returned the embrace. Looking over his shoulder, he saw the entire Team Avatar, Airbending clan and Chief Bei-Fong on Oogi.
Jason walked over to them and looked up at Korra, flashing her a smile. "Hey. It'll work out. Promise." he said, making the tired avatar give him a weak smile before saying goodbye to everyone.
As the bison flew towards the south, Jason looked towards the city, "No Amon. No Equslist's. No problem. Bring it on, whatever comes next." he said confidently.
Not knowing that his next enemy was closer than ever before.
AN: And we are done with ACT 4 ladies and gentlemen!
Now aside from the obvious changes to this part of the Korra canon, I want to point out that I will be covering the six month time skip between books 1&2.
Also, I feel I should point out that last chapter, I named the doctor at the North Pole in Torma's journal after the person who created the idea for the black suit in the first place.
Also for those who haven't heard, there was a 'leaked' post credit scene to Avengers Age of Ultron. In it, we see a window washer scrubbing the outside window. As he wipes downward, we see the next Spider-Man!
Now I don't know if this is real or not (I really hope it is) but I recommend you check it out if you haven't already.
Until next time guys, bye:)
