A/N: This has time skipped two week to the Rumble as I want to hurry up and get on with the Wyatt, Evolution and Shield feud! (:

Aria's Shield

I looked between the two men as they stared at each other from opposite sides of the room. The tension was so thick in the air, filled with issues that needed to be resolved... that I hoped could be resolved.

Tonight had been the Royal Rumble. The result of it made me fear for the future of the Shield.

Flashback to earlier

"I got to tell you boys, I know you can notice my energy, my swag is off the charts right now-" I heard Roman say to Dean and Seth as I walked into their locker room, I chuckled under my breath; loving the idea that Roman had swag. "-I'm feeling confident that I've got the winning number tonight."

Dean wrapped his arm around me as I came to stand by his side, but his eyes remained on Roman. "Oh yeah?" Dean challenged. "What number do you have?"

Roman's eyes matched Dean's challenging gaze. "You better stay tuned. You'll find out later." He simply answered.

I looked to Seth as it was clear we both noticed how tense this situation just got. I especially could feel how the answer Roman just gave was the wrong one to Dean, but I noticed he was forcing himself to stay calm. "Guys..." I chuckled awkwardly, trying to break up what was becoming serious.

"If I tell you my number will you tell me your number?" Dean questioned, leaning forward slightly. His tone remained friendly, but there was something about it which made it...not. Like he was hiding a hidden resentment. I didn't like it.

Roman thought about it for a moment. "Sounds good, go ahead." He shrugged in response. Once again, not giving Dean the answer he wanted.

Dean paused before suddenly exclaiming. "I'm not going to tell you my number! How do you even know that I don't have two numbers?" Dean shot at him.

Here we go again.

Over the last two weeks, Dean and Roman in particular had been frequently bickering about the Royal Rumble. Each taking sly shots at each other. Tension was so high between the Shield I was afraid of what it was leading up to. I was fed up of listening to them both. Their egos were standing in the way of a really great thing that they both have; that they both could lose if they don't stop.

"Nobody has two numbers." Roman dismissed with a scoff.

"I've got all the number." Dean yelled over Roman.

I rolled my eyes at the two men and stood between them. "Enough." I said sternly, looking at one and then the other. "This is ridiculous! The only number that is important tonight is three. The three of you need to work together tonight. You're a team, you're brothers, just...stop-" Neither man said anything. They both didn't want me upset so did all their taunting with their eyes.

After a few moments of silence, both turned and went to opposite directions of the locker room. I placed my hands on my hips and sighed; I couldn't wait for this Rumble to be over with. I get that it was every man for himself; I just didn't want this to tear them apart.

"You've nailed that puppy dog look." Seth said to me as he watched his team mates separate.

"I've been working on it." I replied with a small sigh.

"It'll be ok, Aria." Seth put his hand on my lower back as he dipped his head low to make eye contact with me. "Tonight may be every man for himself, but at the end of the day, we will still be the Shield and we will continue to dominate this company. I know it and so do they."

"I hope you're right."

"Always am." He smiled. "Relax." He placed his hand on my shoulder.

I gave Seth a parting smile as I moved closer to where Dean was. "I need to get a drink, come with me?" I asked him.

Really I just wanted to give him space away from Roman. Any longer they were in a room together I was sure they'd rip each other apart. Dean didn't say anything, but he shoved his hands in his jacket pockets and began walking towards the door, not bothering to look back at his team mates.

I sent Roman a small smile to let him know we were ok before I followed Dean out. I waited until Dean and I were around the corner before I stopped and leaned against the wall. Dean stopped when he noticed I had and walked so he was now standing in front of me; hands still deep inside his jacket. "Yeah?" He simply said, knowing that I wanted to say something.

"You ok?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He shrugged. "You?"

I gave him a small nod. When he followed with nothing else, I spoke up again. "With my match being cancelled...I was pretty gutted earlier."

There would only be a few matches scheduled on the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and I wasn't surprised when it was the Diva's match that got the cut. Me and AJ were set to face Kharma, Eva and JoJo, but that wasn't going to happen, not tonight anyway. Instead, it was moved to the Elimination Chamber. It wasn't a great feeling when I first found out about the match being cut; I felt ready for Kharma and was disappointed I couldn't show the fans what I could do now. It felt like the work I had put in over the last month had been wasted, but then I saw it as an opportunity to improve over the next few weeks and really come out with a bang.

"Yours shouldn't have been the match to be cut, kid." Dean spoke, bringing his hand out of his pocket and placing it on my waist, bringing me into his chest. "I wanted to see you, I know you're ready."

"It's ok." I placed my hand over his chest and smoothed it up to his shoulder. "I'll just kick her ass next month." He smirked at this. "So... everything alright between you and Roman?"

Dean peered down at me, fully aware that I was fishing. "They're fine." He dismissed with a frown.

I raised a brow at him doubtfully. "I have all the numbers!" I put on my best Dean Ambrose impression. His lips twitched back into a smirk at me. When he didn't give me an answer, I knew I wouldn't be getting one. "Do I get to know your number?" I asked instead as I shyly glanced up at him.

"You wanna know my number, huh?" Dean asked. He looked down the corridor making sure there was no one around to overhear us. His head then dipped down, level with mine. He brought his lips real close to mine, I thought he was going to whisper to me his number, but instead he pressed his lips to mine. I sighed into the kiss, bringing my arms around his shoulders. He pressed his body against mine, forcing me up against the wall and deepened the kiss. A low growl escaped his lips when I slid my tongue into his mouth. He briefly pulled away from me, resting his forehead against mine as his eyes remained on my lips. "Eleven." He revealed, in a low voice.

"Eleve-" I went to repeat, but his lips were back onto mine. This time the kiss slowed down. I could feel his stubble prick against my chin as he brushed his lips over mine. After a few moments, I shyly pulled away, turning my head away from his to hide the obvious blush. I knew he knew as a low chuckle escaped his chest.

"Every time." I heard him murmur with amusement.

"Don't you have a Rumble to prepare for?" I shot at him along with a playful glare.

He straightened up to his full height. "Don't go telling your little friends my number, alright?"

"Your number is safe with me." I told him as I pushed his wet hair out of his eyes. As my eyes connected with his, they instantly casted downwards as a thought weighed heavily on my mind; this did not go unnoticed my Dean.

"We'll be alright, kid."

"Really?" I replied; just wanting to hear more. "I hate seeing you guys-"

"I wasn't talking about them." Dean cut me off. I gave him a look of confusion. "What happens tonight, what could happen any night; it's always going to be me and you." His eyes refused to leave mine; they were hard and stern.

"What are you saying, Dean?" It came out in a quiet voice.

"I'm not saying anything, Aria."

I didn't believe that. "You're not going to do anything stupid tonight, are you?"

"I'm going to do what I have to in order to win. Just like Roman and Seth will do." I didn't like talking about the prospects of the Shield breaking up. I understood that eventually they would all go their separate ways and have incredible solo careers, but I didn't want them to end up hating each other like most tag teams did. "And I trust that you'll be my side-" Dean spoke, recapturing my attention. "-whatever should happen."

I frowned and looked down at the ground. "I'll always be by your side, Dean."

End of flashback

I grabbed my bag from the floor and went to head towards the door. I didn't get far as Dean pulled me back to him. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked lowly, his brows furrowing down at me.

"You need to sort this out." I told Dean as I looked towards Roman. "Between you guys." Dean's eyes followed mine and frowned over at Roman who shared a similar expression. "I'm hanging with Becky tonight; Brad's not here so..." I trailed off, waiting for Dean's next move. "I'll be back later tonight."

His hand slowly unravelled from my arm; he didn't say anything, but I took that as my permission to go. I knew going was for the best, they had to sort this out for themselves without any interruption from me. I kissed his cheek and left the room, finally able to breathe when I got out. I wasn't prepared to stick around and watch them fight.

I questioned my decision all the way to Becky's room, but ultimately this was their problem, not mine. I even stopped half way with the intention of going back; I didn't like not knowing what the future held for the Shield.

"Aria..." My eyes lifted off the ground to... BO! He had a small gentle smile on his face mixed with a look of sympathy as he noticed I was sad. "Hey, little buddy." He added and put his hand on my shoulder. He also bent his knees so he was level with me. "I watched everything that happened in the Royal Rumble tonight. I understand you must be upset about your friends fighting." I nodded. "Gosh!" He then exclaimed with a sad expression; which I had never seen on Bo's face before. I made Bo sad, no! "That's got to be such a pain in the neck!"

"It really is, Bo." This man was always there when I needed my spirits lifted.

"But listen, life isn't about the destination..."

"It isn't?" I asked, looking up at him; inspired.

"It's about the journey!" The fixated smile stretched back onto his face. "And soon, they will realise that losing an argument is better than losing a friend." My lips stretched into a smirk as I tried not to laugh; the man was really cheering me up; but probably not in the way he would want. "All you have to do...is BOlieve!"

"Bo..." I turned my head over my shoulder to see who was interrupting my Bo time. My jaw dropped when I saw a woman leaning against the wall with a seductive smirk on her face. She was at least 6ft tall with the longest legs which her dress barely covered up. Her long blonde hair curled between her very exposed cleavage. I then looked back at Bo who looked like he was dressed to be on a date. I could not imagine Bo with a woman! Especially not this kind of woman!

"Bo, you dog!" I fist bumped his arm.

"Aria…you cat!" He then fist bumped my arm.

"No, that's... never mind." I didn't think he knew how that worked... but he smiled widely as if he did.

"You coming, big boy?" She asked him, twirling her hair around in her fingers.

I just couldn't bolieve it...

"I'm coming." Bo waved at her before turning back to me.

"Oh I bet you are, Bo." I chuckled lowly under my breath.

"Just remember, Aria, if you bolieve, you can achieve!" Bo left with the blonde much to my shock. Who knew that would be his type of woman!

"Fandango loves blondes..." Someone breathed into my ear causing me to jump at the close contact.

I turned around to see Fandango staring down at me with a similar seductive look that the blonde had on a moment ago. I held my brunette locks between my fingers and looked back at Fandango. "Sorry..."

He started to do an Elvis hip swirl which I slowly backed away from.

With no further interruptions, I made it to Becky's room.

Flashback to earlier

The Royal Rumble was incredible so far, especially for the Shield. Despite Seth coming in at number 2, he was still in it along with Roman and Dean who had worked hard to eliminate a lot of other superstars. To my relief, they had been working as a team.

Any cracks in the Shield that I had witnessed over the last few weeks could not be seen. I was getting increasingly nervous as more and more superstars became eliminated.

"See, you were worrying for nothing!" Becky nudged me.

Kane got eliminated.

Brad heavily sighed. "Well, I can't say I'm not surprised." He announced. "Next year I'll go in to represent the authority, save them some embarrassment."

Dean had the cutest look ever on his face when El Torito entered the Royal Rumble. He looked to go after him, but got distracted by Fandango who intercepted his way. Instead, Roman picked up El Torito effortlessly and threw him over the ropes. "I see a new feud starting."

As Roman smirked over the ropes at El Torito, I saw Dean hovering behind him...

I squinted my eyes at the TV, what was Dean doing?

My question was answered. My mouth fell open as Dean rushed behind Roman and tried to throw him over the top rope. My mind went back to our earlier conversation; had he planned this? Roman had gripped onto the ropes and fell to the mat instead of the floor; he was still in.

Seth shoved Dean away. "What are you doing?!" You could faintly hear Seth yell.

I could feel Becky and Brad's eyes on me. Brad then nudged tissues my way. "I don't need these." I tossed them away from me and kept my eyes on the TV.

"Denial." I heard Brad whisper. "Aww."

"It doesn't mean anything. They all said it's every man for himself." I tried to dismiss.

"Aww..." Brad continued.

Cesaro got up and whilst Seth and Dean were arguing, he tried to eliminate them both. All three men were hanging onto the ropes, battling to stay in the ring. I watched with a frown; not knowing how to handle what Dean had tried to do. I would always support Dean, but that didn't mean I had to agree with everything he did.

Dean and Seth were still clinging onto the ropes and just as it looked like they would break free...

Roman.

Roman, with all his force, threw all three men; Cesaro, Dean and Seth, over the top rope causing them all to crash to the floor. The referee signalled to their elimination.

Dean and Seth sat up in shock at they looked up at their partner who shook his head in disappointment at them.

Brad placed the tissues back in front of me, he then tapped my knee.

I stood up and left the room. I needed to do damage control before this was blown out of proportion. I refused to let this be the end of the Shield. I knew that eventually it would come down to them eliminating each other, but Dean should have waited, they still had plenty more men to take out.

I heard Dean before I saw him.

I could hear him taking his anger out on whatever he could find. His fists would crack against the wall, he would kick whatever was in his way. He was on a path of destruction. I didn't even think I could calm him down.

His temper only got worse when a crew member ran into him, Dean grabbed him by his shirt and threw him up against the wall. "Why don't you get the fuck out of the way, asshole?" Dean shouted in the man's face as his face turned red with anger. All kinds of veins were showing on Dean's arm and his knuckles were going white with how much strength he had clasped around this man's shirt.

"Dean!" I gasped in horror. His head snapped in my direction, but the look of anger in his face...in his eyes did not fade. "Put him down!" I cried out.

Dean's fingers tightened in the man's shirts whose eyes were wide with fear, but Dean released him. "Get the fuck out of here." Dean warned the guy who ran off as fast as he could.

I stared in shock at Dean, not wanting to say anything in case I got my head bitten off too. Dean's mouth curled into a snarl when he saw the look on my face and then he punched the wall three times, letting out howls of anger.

As Dean went to go for a fourth time, I grabbed his fist between my two hands. "Please-" I said softly to him. "Don't."

He scoffed in a laugh and forced his hand which had been through the wall; through my hair. He then brought my head close to his. "Don't what?" He asked in a mocking tone. His eyes widened, his brows raised when I didn't reply. "All this means dick to me." He spat. "All I really wanted was Randy Orton's head on a stick-" He hissed at me. "At Wrestlemania, I was going to be the man to do that. I was." His hand fell from my hair and he turned away from me. I breathed out slowly, trying to remind myself that he was just pissed off. I looked at him, not knowing what to say. "Your silence speaks volumes, Aria." He drawled with sarcasm. "So please, the floors all yours-" He opened his arms up. "What's on your mind?" I didn't say anything, this wasn't the time, not when he was so angry. "C'mon-" He stepped closer to me. "Tell me what's going on in that beautiful head of yours-" His hands went to either side of my head as he walked forward causing me to walk backwards. "I know there's something you want to say to me." He bent his knees so he was level with me. "That pretty little mouth wants to yell at me. You wanna tell me I'm scum, don't you?"

I brought my own hands up to cup his face. "Stop." I told him sternly, looking straight into his eyes.

"Say it, Aria." He retorted through gritted teeth. "Let me have it." He tilted his head. I shook my head, "Aria-" He growled demandingly.

"You want me to blame you?" I asked, narrowing my brows at him. "Easy. Done. You screwed up, Dean." I told him what he wanted to hear.

"Ah, she speaks." He kept his face close to mine.

"You should have worked as a team until the final three, I thought that was the plan." I slipped my hands into his making sure he wouldn't pull away from me.

His teeth grinded together and he looked down at the hand that was keeping him close to me. "I wanted it, Aria. I didn't care who I had to screw over to get it. I wanted Orton." He snarled. "I wanted to take him out so he could never come the fuck near you again." He pulled his hand out of mine, but kept close. He straightened up to his full height, towering over me; causing me to take a step back. "That's how much control you have over me-" He yelled out in frustrration in a ramble like a crazy man. In doing so, his arms reached out and trapped me between him and the wall.

"Don't blame this on me, Dean. I wouldn't have wanted you to do that." I reached up and pressed my hands against his chest. He almost looked hurt at that, but Dean quickly covered up any emotion he was feeling. "It's ok." I soothed him. I could see how frustrated he was with himself; maybe he just needed to hear that. "You-" I started, but I stopped, not knowing what to say to him. Instead, I tip toed up and pressed my lips to his. He didn't respond, instead he closed his eyes and just appreciated the feeling of my lips on his. As I went to go back down on my feet, his hand went to my lower back, lifting me back up to kiss him.

He pulled his lips away briefly, but kept his forehead resting on mine. " "Still going to stick by my side, princess?" He asked with a frown as if fearing the answer.

"I'm still here, aren't I?" I retorted and pressed my lips back onto his. "I'm not going anywhere." I ran my hand through his wet hair, my face staying close to his. It was times like this I could really see the vulnerably to Dean.

End of flashback

"How is Dean?" Becky asked as she poured me a glass of wine which was strongly needed at this moment.

"I don't know." I shook my head. "I don't know whether it was best to leave him or stay by his side, I just want them to work it out."

"I'm sure they will." Becky reassured. "They're honestly the best thing in the WWE right now, they'd be fools to let what happened get in the way of that."

I nodded in agreement. "You should have seen Dean after." I shook my head. "He gets into this crazy mindset where he is on a whole other level of anger." I tried to explain. "He's not there-" I pointed to my head. "He's not Dean-" I massaged my fingers against my temple. "He gets to this point where he feels everyone's against him and he needs me there to let him know that's not true."

"What would you have done if he really did turn against Roman tonight?" Becky asked me. "Full on took him out, I mean."

"What can I do?" I asked her and took a long sip. "I love him."

"So you would stick by him?"

"I wouldn't be happy with it and by all means, I wouldn't stop talking to Roman or Seth, but I would stick by him."

"Aww." Becky teased. "So when's the wedding?"

"Ha ha." I rolled my eyes. "I don't think Dean would do that."

"The wedding?"

"No! Turn on Seth and Roman!" I exclaimed. "Dean...I think what he searches for most is a family. Because of his own family life, he's fiercely loyal; to me and to them."

"When you put things like that; I really think you and Dean belong together." I smiled at that. "You're the good he needs and after what sounds like a crappy life, he deserves a good girl."

"He said he wanted to get to Wrestlemania for me." I replied as I looked down at my wine glass. "He really wanted to take on Randy. I think he feels like he let me down or something."

"Aw Dean-" Becky put her hand to her heart.

"You're making me just want to go back and hug him." I said as I shook my head. "I hope they're doing ok."

"I think you were right to give them space." Becky told me. "They need to settle this on their own and not through their peace maker." She reached over and topped up my glass. "Dean's a big boy, I'm sure he can hold his own." She finished before looking down at the table where her phone started vibrating; Brad's goofy face popped up on the screen. "I'll be a minute." She smiled and picked up her phone.

As I watched Becky walk into her room with her phone pressed to her ear, I felt my own phone vibrate in my hand. I couldn't help but feel relieved when I saw Dean's name flash on my screen. We travelled together, we worked together, we were with each other so often it was weird to be apart. Looked like we were both feeling it.

I lifted myself off the couch and slid the door open to the balcony. "Hey." I answered softly.

"Hi." Dean returned with. "You alright?"

"Yeah." I looked out at the view. "It's quiet over here without Brad." I tried to make conversation, hoping to get something back from Dean. "How's everything over there?"

"It's fine." Dean murmured. "We're going for a beer." I smiled when I heard that. "Did you want to come out? I'll come get you."

"That's really tempting." I rested my head back. "But I think you guys need this."

"Aria, we're fine. Come out."

"I'll be back in a few hours." I answered. "We're fine too, you know."

Dean fell silent for a moment. "Can I see you?" He asked.

I looked down. "Have you been drinking?"

"I'm not drunk, Aria." He stated dryly. "I can be outside your friend's in two." I looked to where Becky's room was which she still hadn't come out of. "I just want to see you." He repeated in a murmur. He did have a slight slur his voice so maybe he had had a few beers beforehand, but he was right, he wasn't drunk.

"You've got two minutes." I said softly and walked back into the main room.

Flashback to earlier

It seemed I had finally calmed Dean down, but it didn't last long. We had just seen Roman almost win the Royal Rumble, but he only just missed out. Seth had found me and Dean, but he hadn't said anything; he was also still reeling from his elimination.

I had my arms around Dean's neck in preparation for Roman's appearance, but it was pointless. Dean tore from my arms and half-heartedly strode towards Roman. "Was it worth it?" Dean's lip curled, leaning back and stretching his arms out. "Huh?"

Seth stayed quiet, but the look of irritation of his face was clear. I wasn't counting on him to break this up.

I squeezed through the small gap that was between the two big men and tried to push them apart. "Leave it, Dean." I told him sternly.

"Every man for himself, it's as simple as that." Roman shrugged with a cool exterior. "I made a name for myself out there tonight, so yeah, it was worth it. You would have done the same thing if you could, hell, you even tried-" Roman sneered causing Dean to walk forward but this only squeezed me between the two.

"It's over now, it's done." I said, looking between the two. I couldn't get either man's attention. I kept attempting to push Dean back, but every time he effortlessly walked forward again. "Dean-" Dean purposely pushed me out of the way to get to Roman causing my back to bump into Seth's chest, who's arms wrapped round me to keep me from falling.

Roman's eyes snapped to where I was before looking back harshly at Dean.

"Something you want to say?" Dean shot at Roman.

"If there was something I wanted to say, I would have said it." Roman retorted back to Dean. Dean half laughed in Roman's face and began walking away. "I do have something to say, actually."

Dean spun back around and tilted his head, "You got something to say?" His brows raised up; mocking him.

"Yeah I do." Roman stated calmly. "Touch her like that again and I'll make sure you won't be able to feel them fingers anymore."

Dean's eyes shifted to me with slight confusion as if he hadn't realised what he had done. He frowned back at Roman, "You don't trust me with Aria?" He stepped forward, looking fully prepared to defend himself against the accusion. "I am the last person that would hurt her-" Dean emphasised as his voice raised; his fingers curling into a fist which he did when he was tried to get control of himself. "But if that's not good enough for you then whatever." He spat out, raising his shoulders to his neck. "I'm out of here."

I sighed as I watched Dean leave; I was hoping for more of a reconciliation. Instead, I was used as a scapegoat. "You alright?" Seth murmered to me. I nodded in response. He gave me a simple nod back before following in Dean's direction leaving me standing with Roman.

I don't think Dean meant to push me; I don't think he even realised he did it. He was so fired up that he couldn't see anything beyond his rage. Dean had made it his mission to protect me and couldn't accept Roman protecting me from him.

"You were awesome out there." I leaned up and hugged the big man. "You may not have won but you sure as hell have left an impression."

"Thanks baby girl." He murmured, returning my hug.

End of flashback

I opened the door to find Dean leaning against the wall; waiting for me to come out. Becky was still on the phone. I slipped out, leaving a small gap in the door so I could get back in. "Hi." I said shyly. "Have they already gone down?"

"Yeah." Dean answered simply. "Sure you don't want to come out?"

"I think I need a quiet night in." I said as I leaned against the wall. He nodded. "Was there a reason for you wanting to see me?"

"I don't know. I just did." He stepped closer to me, slipping his hand into mine. "Maybe to even make sure I haven't fucked things up." He said quietly, eyes piercing mine. Again, he wore a mask, trying to conceal his emotions, but I could see what happened earlier was playing on his mind.

I shook my head. "No." I smiled to reassure him. "If anything, I think I'm getting better at handling you."

"Handling me, huh?" He bit his lip and looked sideways at me; his gaze then turned to looking up. "I was glad you were there. I would have probably put that guy through a wall, got fired or some shit." I thought back to the crew member that he had scarred for life.

I nodded, "I'm sorry tonight didn't go how you wanted."

"I'll get Orton another way." Dean dismissed.

"I don't need you to do that, Dean."

"I need to, Aria." He turned his body towards me. "And trust me, I will." He leaned his arm beside me and put his free hand on my waist, turning my body into his. "I didn't mean to push you."

I reached out and ran my hand over his now dry hair. "It's ok." I said softly. I pushed his hair out of his eyes and then trailed my hand down his cheek. "I know you don't feel great about tonight, but I thought you were incredible."

"Yeah?"

I nodded. "I felt so happy watching you. I always do." I admitted to him. He lowered himself down and pressed his lips onto mine. I encircled my arms around his neck and kept him with me. "You're making me want to come out." I whispered to him.

"You're making me want to stay in." His eyes shifted between mine.

"I didn't mean what I said earlier about you screwing up. You do what you need to do, Dean."

He nodded and traced his fingers along my shoulder. "I like having you around, Aria." He spoke quietly as he watched his fingers brush down my body. "I know I can be a dick." I let out a small chuckle. "But you are the... you're the best person I've ever known." I had no idea where this sentimental side of Dean was coming from, but I liked it. His eyes fell from mine, "I need you."

"Aria?" I heard Becky call from inside.

I could have strangled Becky at that moment.

"I better go." I told Dean softly. He nodded and leaned down as I reached to hug him. "I love you, Dean." I whispered to him. He kissed the side of my head and let me go.

I almost ran after him as he walked away. I could feel the butterflies flutter in my stomach. Months on and Dean still had that affect on me.

I slipped back inside the room. "There you are!" Becky said, pulling a new bottle out of the mini fridge. "Who were you talking to?"

"Dean." I answered with a small smile.

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah. It is." I held my glass up to her for a refill. "He's a good man." I told her. "Although he doesn't believe it."

"Have you and Dean been to your apartment yet?" Becky asked me, sitting back down.

"We've ordered the furniture." I replied. "My mom, dad and Toby are out there at the moment to accept all the deliveries. I think we were planning to officially spend our first night there this weekend."

"Moving in with a boy. How did your parents feel about that?"

"It's Dean, what do you think?" I retorted with a smile. "My dad is such a fan girl. Dean could cheat on me and my dad would still defend him."

"Count yourself lucky! My dad really doesn't like Brad." Becky laughed. "Brad literally does not act any different to my dad then he would with you or Ted. My mom, of course, loves him."

"So does mine." I pulled a face. "He still has it in him with the 45+ demographic." I smirked.

Me and Becky continued to talk about everything that had happened over the last few weeks. We talked about Brad, Charlie... Dean. Becky even told me some of Brad's juicy secrets.

"That's so weird!" I laughed.

"You can't tell anyone." Becky said sternly. "He'll kill me." I just kept laughing. "What about you?"

"What about me?" I asked, taking a sip.

"You've kept tight lipped. What's been going on?" I just shrugged gingerly. "Don't give me that. You used to tell me everything might I add."

"There is something." I answered whilst swirling my wine around in the glass. I was constantly questioning myself whether I felt the need to tell her because I had been drinking, but I was just desperate to share it with someone, to maybe even get some advice.

"Oo." Becky folded her legs in anticipation as she leaned forward. "Go on."

I rolled my head back. "I don't know if I should say."

"You should definitely say." Becky pressed. "It's not good to keep secrets, Aria!" She replied with some weird whining noise. "I promise it will stay between you and me." I still kept quiet. "Look, I told you about Brad's-"

"I really wish you hadn't." I stopped her, cringing about the conversation all over again.

"Aria! You can't just get me excited and then not tell me!" She whined. "Just say it! I'm not here to judge...much." She muffled.

I sighed heavily and pulled myself up to sitting up straight. "Ok, uh..." I took another long sip of my wine. "I think..." Becky made a large hand gesture for me to go on. "I think Seth...kinda, sorta, maybe, likes me."

"...I could believe that."

"What? Why?" I didn't think anyone other than me was noticing it. Had Charlie too?

"From what I'm starting to remember of my uh...wedding night-" She cleared her throat. "He was pretty full on with you."

"Full on how?" I asked her, resting my head on the couch.

"His arm was around you, he scared away any guys who came near you, I'm pretty sure he had a-" She put one finger up causing my eyes to widened. "I mean, at first I thought he was just protective of you since you're dating Dean, but him liking you, that definitely makes sense."

"I did not give him a..." Becky smirked as I didn't say the word. "I did not get Seth excited." I used instead.

"You totally did." She teased "But go on, I'm intrigued. What makes you think he likes you?"

I frowned. "You're going to think I'm awful."

"I'm married to Brad..."

"Good point." I half smiled. "Ok...well... he sorta… kinda...maybe...kissed me."

The only part of Becky that moved was her eyes which widened twice the usual size. "No!" She gasped. "When?!"

"When we were in London..." I answered timidly.

"But he was still with...oh no..."

"He was drunk and I pushed him away!" I quickly said. "He said it was a mistake and that he just missed Charlie and seeing me half naked-"

"He saw you half naked?!"

"...Maybe I should start from the beginning."

"Yeah, that would help." Becky reached for the wine and poured the rest of the content into her glass. "I'm ready."

I told her everything that I could remember, even the smallest of details that I could scrape from the back of my mind. She sat there with numerous facial expressions, at times she was shocked, at times she was amused and at times she cringed on my behalf.

"I think you are bringing this on yourself!" She laughed. "Oh Aria!" She cringed again, she found this hilarious.

"How!?"

"You keep getting naked in front of him!" Becky said loudly, giggling over her wine. "What do you expect?!"

"I don't get naked! Not fully!" I exclaimed in the same level of volume. "It's not like I plan for him to see!"

"And how many times has this happened with Roman?!" Becky asked. I opened my mouth to argue, but shut it right up. "How many?!"

"None." I mumbled.

"I didn't catch that."

"None, ok?!"

"I rest my case." Becky folded her arms.

"I've been stressing about this for months, how have you made this situation funny?" I moaned. "I blame the wine."

"You're stressing too much. Just enjoy the attention! I would! Seth Rollins is hot." Becky said with a slight slur.

Such lightweights.

"But I feel bad!" I whined. "I didn't tell Charlie and I didn't tell Dean. Now I've waited too long."

"Which in my opinion was the right call." She answered back.

"Really?"

"It was a drunken kiss. You don't know how many Ted has tried to put on me." She rolled her eyes. "Idiot." She said, thinking about Ted.

"And everything else?"

She shrugged. "I think it's cute that he has a crush on you."

"We're not in school, Becky." I pouted at my drink. "It's not cute, it's awkward."

"You can't tell me you don't enjoy the attention, not even a little?"

I glared at her over my drink. "Ok maybe it's a little flattering."

"Knew it!"

I buried my head in my hands, I definitely felt like a teenager at a sleepover again; talking about boys. "But I love Dean!"

"So?! I have a crush on half the guys in the locker room! It doesn't mean anything!" Becky argued.

"I do not have a crush on Seth Rollins." I said sternly.

"And I don't have a crush on Fandango!" Becky wiggled her brows.

"Eww." I scowled in disgust. "He talks in the third person."

"That's hot." She pointed out.

"That's weird." I shot back. "Besides, he likes blondes."

"I've been blonde before, I can go back!"

"Brad." I coughed

"Oh yeah..."

"And I have Dean." I cuddled the pillow to my chest. "I don't want anyone else. Just Dean." I smiled.

"Ok hypothetically-" Becky started causing me to groan. "If Dean wasn't around and Seth asked you out, would you?"

"Maybe, I don't know." I grabbed onto my head which was spinning slightly. "I like Seth, he's my friend. I don't want him to do something that we can't come back from. I do really like him... as a friend, to make that clear."

"Look, I'm sure this is just a temporary thing until he meets someone new." Becky tried to reassure me. "I even heard he was seeing that new girl...Odette from time to time."

"Yeah, Odette." I shook my head.

"What's wrong with Odette?" Becky asked. I sighed and searched for her on Instagram. I found one Odette had actually asked to take with me and being next to each other really showed the resemblance. I passed my phone to Becky. She looked from my phone to me, then back to the phone, then back on me. She did this a few times until. "Dude's got it bad..." She handed me my phone back. "Maybe that's his way of getting over you, doing your doppelganger!"

"That doesn't help!"

She just laughed. "You know, I'm actually offended you didn't tell me any of this sooner."

"The little people knew the better." I told her.

"Who does know?"

"Uh...Punk?"

"You told Punk and not me!"

"I didn't want you to feel bad for not telling Charlie!" I protested. "I didn't want to make you choose or anything!"

"Fine, fine, I get it. Is Punk the only one who knows?" She asked. I looked away sheepishly. "Oh c'mon! Who else?"

"Uh..Roman." I coughed under my breath.

She looked even more surprised now then when I told her I thought Seth liked me. "How the hell did you tell Roman Reigns over me?!"

"I didn't tell Roman." I replied defensively. "Seth got drunk with him and said a few things-"

"You left that bit out." Becky spoke. "What did he say?"

I knew I was now blushing. "Punk overheard them and apparently Seth said some inappropriate things."

Becky waited for me to go on and went I didn't. "And..."

"He has quite the filthy imagination." I cringed and laughed at the same time. "I can't believe I'm telling you all this!"

"I can't believe you didn't tell me all this sooner!" Becky retorted. "And that I was the last to know."

"Well not the last." I casted my eyes downwards. "Dean still doesn't." I sighed lightly. "And that's what stops me from enjoying it. If Dean knew half the stuff Seth has done, I don't think he would ever look at him the same again. He didn't have a real family growing up and the guys are like brothers to him. I can't take that away. I don't want him to blame me-"

"It's not your fault, Aria. These things happen." She replied. "You guys are always in each other's faces. You travel together, work together, he sees a lot of you. You're the female that is always there so he's attached himself to you."

I nodded in agreement. "I keep hoping that it will just pass by and sometimes we'll have good days when nothing happens. Then something minor will happen and it may not mean anything if it was somebody else, but with Seth, it makes it awkward."I scratched my leg and sighed. "I don't want this to blow back up in my face.

Flashback to earlier

I was listening to my music as I sat on a crate. I had Dean's Shield jacket on and was just waiting for the final match to begin; The Royal Rumble. We were half an hour away from what was stressing me out the most. I closed my eyes and tried to relax by listening to music, but this was interupted when I felt the weight shift next to me. I opened my eyes to see Seth had jumped up and took the empty space.

I took an earphone out of my ear. "Hi." I said to him. "Shouldn't you be getting ready?"

"I was going for a run when I saw you here." He replied. "You ok? You haven't been hanging around much today."

"I thought I'd give you guy's space. Things seemed pretty intense back there."

"We're three men with big egos, of course things will be tense." He smiled and placed his hand reassuringly on my thigh. "What are you listening to?" Before I could stop him, he stole my ear phones.

"I can explain..."

I may or may not have been listening to the Frozen soundtrack.

"Man, I have got to see this movie." He chuckled, pulling them out.

"It relaxes me and I needed that after 'if I tell you my number, will you tell me yours'?" I mocked the Shield's earlier conversation. Seth chuckled at this. "Why is everyone so secretive about their numbers?"

"It gives us an advantage." Seth replied.

"How?"

"Ever heard the saying 'knowledge is power'?" He asked.

"I guess." I gave a playful eye roll before looking up at him. "What's your number?" I said, taking a long shot.

"You really want to know?" Seth replied with a small smile. Like Dean did before, he looked around to see if anyone was in ear shot. He leaned back when he was satisfied. "Two." He said to me. I was really surprised he even told me. "You keep that to yourself, ok?"

"Number two-" I leaned back with him, bringing my legs up. "That's rough."

"The best wins always come from the guys who enter early." Seth told me. "It gives me a chance to show what I can do." I nodded in agreement. "It's too bad about your match. I was really excited to see it. For what it's worth, I think you were ready."

"I would not have liked to be the guy who told Kharma the match was off." I replied. "She'll have something in store for me tomorrow night."

"Nothing you can't handle, right?" Seth said as he hopped off of the crate. "I better go, but I'll see you later tonight."

"Good luck." I stood up to go find somewhere to watch the Rumble, but Seth gave me a hug which took me by surprise. I waved him off and left trying not to over read things.

When I turned around to head off, I found Hunter leaning against the wall with the smallest of smirks on his face as he watched me. I froze in my spot and wondered how long he had been there.

He pushed himself off the wall and began walking past me. "Aria." He greeted with that smirk still intact.

End of flashback

"I am just...mindblown. Aria Hayden-" She shook her head with an amused smile. "What else are you keeping from me?!"

"Well..."

"I'm going to need to open another bottle, aren't I?" Becky asked.

My head was yelling at me to shut up, but I couldn't. I just kept on going. "Do you know when I said three was my 'magic number'?"

"Technically-" Becky replied, "It's only two since Dean turned out to be your first."

"Well..."

Becky's mouth fell open. "What!?" She said excitedly. "There's another guy?! Aria, you-" She slapped my thigh. "Who the hell is it!" I just grinned to myself. "Aria Hayden, if you don't tell me right now...I'll call Seth right now and ask for a strip tease!"

"No!" I gasped. I had definitely drunk too much. "Don't do that!"

"It's ringing!" Becky announced.

"Fine, fine, I'll tell you!"

"Ha! I was bluffing anyway!" Becky grinned.

"Hello?" Seth's voice came through Becky's phone, her eyes widened. She then threw the phone to me. Like a hot potato, I threw it back. "Becky?" His voice came through again. "You girls ok?"

"Say something!" I hissed in a whisper to her.

"Hi Seth." She finally answered him, a little too cheerily. I slapped my hand against my forehead. She took him off loud speaker and pressed the phone to her ear. "Yeah, yeah, everything's fine...Aria?" She then looked at me with a smirk. "Yeah, Aria's fine. She's had a little too much wine-"

"Don't tell him that!"

"Why we called?" She repeated what he had just said. "Well...we were talking about strippers-"

"Where are you going with this!?"

"And we realised you guys have the perfect uniform to perform in...uhuh...yeah...ok...how much?" She once again repeated what he asked. I'm pretty sure he was fully aware Becky wasn't fully with it. "Let me check my purse." She reached over, half falling as she reached for it. "Alright, I have...two dollars in my purse..." I was shaking my head knowing that I would be teased about this tomorrow. "Oh, that's too bad. Maybe next time, yeah?"

"Oh my gosh." I buried my head in my hands.

"Alright Seth...you too...yeah I'll tell her. Bye!" Becky hung up her phone "I like him!"

"Strippers?!" I shot frantically at her.

"Hey, they could be strippers!" Becky exclaimed. "They totally have stripper theme music...Sierra, echo, hotel-" She deepened her voice. "The Shield. Dun dun, dun dun, dunnnn."

"Do you know how much abuse I'm going to get tomorrow?!" I asked her.

"Relax." Becky dismissed with her hand. "Besides, I heard Roman and Dean in the background, sounds like the Shield are ok!" I felt relieved to hear that. "Seth sends his love by the way." She winked.

"It's not funny." I said to her.

"It's cute!" Becky dismissed. "Seth Rollins is like a puppy!"

"But I'm with Dean, I love Dean!"

"I'm sure it's harmless." Becky rolled her eyes dramatically. "What's one or a couple of boners, huh?" I glared at her. "Who is the other guy?" She brought the conversation back round. Damn, she remembered. "Don't think I've forgotten." She slammed her wine glass down, spilling it in the process. "It's Seth, isn't it?!" Becky gasped. "Aria!"

"It's not Seth!"

"It's totally Roman!"

"No!" I moaned. "It's not Roman, it's not Seth!"

"Then who?!"

"It's..."

Who do you think it is!?

I wanted to move the match back to Elimination Chamber so I could have more time to build a feud between Kharma and Aria!
