A/N: Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. If you get a chance drop a review or send me a PM and let me know what you think.
"The baby looks good," Dr. Childs said as she moved the transducer over Olivia's skin. "He's looking good for thirty weeks...about seventeen inches long and three and a half pounds."
"Wow...he's already three pounds?" Olivia asked while starring at the monitor.
"He's a good size, he'll start filling out significantly these next eight or nine weeks," Dr. Childs told them. "Have you had any braxton hicks contractions?"
"Just a few every once and a while...they never hurt," Olivia replied, wiping the gel off of her skin. She could feel Elliot's eyes on her but she didn't look at him, she knew he would be upset she didn't tell him about the contractions and it was reinforced when she heard him sigh.
Dr. Childs nodded, "That's normal. As long as they aren't painful and you aren't getting more than four in an hour you're fine." She looked over the chart, "I'm actually going to get you set up to have a 3D ultrasound in a couple of weeks."
"Why? Is everything alright?" Olivia asked quickly.
Dr. Childs smiled and rested her hand on Olivia's shoulder, "Everything is fine. The 3D ultrasound just allows us to get a closer look at the baby and it gives the parents a real chance to see what their baby looks like. You can usually see their facial features clearly...sometimes their lips are moving or they're sucking their thumb and you can see all of that."
"That sounds nice," Olivia smiled and visibly relaxed and she looked to Elliot who just nodded his head, listening to Dr. Childs.
"I'll schedule it for two or three weeks from now...it gives the baby more time to plump up and get cuter," Dr. Childs chuckled. "You know the drill, if anything feels off or you have any questions give me a call."
"I will," Olivia nodded, shaking her hand.
"Thank you," Elliot said, following suit.
"My pleasure. Have a nice holiday and don't take on too much with the move...you still need to rest," Dr. Childs said before leaving the room.
Olivia got down from the table, grabbing her jacket and doing her best to zip it up but with her belly in the way she couldn't exactly see the zipper. Elliot watched her and did his best to suppress a chuckle but she heard him and shot him a glare, "Are you going to help me or just sit there and laugh because you're pregnant wife can't zip her damn coat?"
He stood from his chair, standing nose to nose with her, "Are you going to start telling me when you're having braxton hicks contractions and anything else that's going on with you and the baby?"
Her head dropped and her hands stopped fiddling with the zipper, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you...I know they're harmless and I didn't want to worry you."
"I worry about you no matter what," he sighed, zipping her coat up around the bump. "I worry more when you keep things from me."
"I'm sorry," she said softly, taking his hand in hers and giving it a gentle squeeze. "I'll tell you when anything happens, I promise."
Ducking his head he kissed her lips softly, "Okay."
"Thank you by the way...for zipping my coat," she smiled and he chuckled.
"Anytime," he said kissing her again. "Let's get out of here."
Elliot and Olivia walked hand in hand down the busy streets of New York. The whole city was ready for Christmas and with it coming in just two days, all of the people were bustling and there were piles of snow lining the streets.
Elliot held her tightly to him, "I love this time of year."
"Me too," she said looking up to the sky as the snowflakes hit her face. "It makes me feel free."
"I know what you mean," he said, holding his bare palm out and watching the snowflakes melt as they hit his warm skin. "The city is always crowded...there's always people around that it makes the city feel so small...you never realize how big the world really is."
"We need to get out of the city more," she said wrapping her arm around his middle.
"The only other time I've felt like the city wasn't just suffocating me was in Hawaii with you and when my mom bought her place on the beach...I never admitted it to her, but I understood why she moved out there," he confessed.
She gave his hip a squeeze, "When's the last time you went out and saw her?" Elliot gave her a guilty look and she raised an eyebrow, "When?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Probably around the same time you went and saw her."
"El...I know you don't have the best relationship with her but you'll miss her when she's gone. I know from experience," Olivia sighed as they started up the stairs of their building.
His hand found its place on the small of her back as he helped guide her up the steps, "I'll call her and set something up. Will you go with me to see her?"
"Anything you want, baby," she agreed, giving him a soft kiss on his jaw.
It was finally Christmas Eve and while Noah had been in bed for hours, Elliot and Olivia were still awake wrapping presents.
"I think we went a little overboard," Olivia said, taping down the corner of the wrapping paper on her box.
Elliot chuckled as he stacked his box on top of the dozen that were already lining the wall, "I didn't want to say anything."
"Well I couldn't help it," she chuckled. "I wanted to make sure they all got what they wanted."
"I know," he smiled and pushed off his knees giving her a kiss, "And I love you for that."
She kissed him again, cupping his cheek while her mouth explored his. Pulling back breathlessly, "Okay, let's hurry this up."
"What's the rush?" He chuckled, handing her another toy and taking one for himself.
Olivia smirked and seductively looked him over, "I need more of you."
"Well, we could always finish this later," he argued.
She corked a brow, thoroughly enjoying that she could get him worked up the same way he did to her, "Not an option because once I get you in bed I'm not leaving it until tomorrow morning."
Elliot adjusted himself and let out a groan, "We need to hurry this up then."
"There's only a few more," Olivia chuckled and smiled when she caught the look Elliot was throwing her way.
"This isn't fair," he mumbled, throwing the present over with the other ones.
"Careful with the toys there, Stabler," Olivia scolded in a mock serious tone. "This is the last one anyway."
"Good," he growled, taking the wrapped present from her and pushing it aside. One hand cupping the back of neck and the other one wrapped around her waist he kissed her...deep and passionately.
She moaned as he trailed feather light kisses over her jaw and down her neck, "Oh El."
He nipped and sucked at her skin, his fingers found the bottom of her shirt and his hand slid underneath, finally touching her warm skin. His thumb brushed the underside of her breast and kissed down her chest, "I want you."
"Not here...we'll regret it in the morning," she moaned, trailing her hand between them, squeezing his thigh and feeling him shutter when her hand rubbed his hardened length.
"Hold on," he murmured into her neck, one arm holding her against him and the other wrapping around her thigh as he sat back on his legs, pulling her into his lap.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as her lips found his, "Be careful."
He stood up, pulling her closer to him and her legs wrapped around him, "Always with you." Laying her back on the bed his lips went to her neck, sucking her pulse before moving to her earlobe. His hands tangled in her hair, "This is better."
Olivia smirked, "I told you." Her fingers went to work on his belt, quickly undoing it and pushing his jeans down over his hips.
"Why do you still have your clothes on?" He growled, sucking her neck while his hands pulled at her sweater.
She lifted her arms over her head and the sweater followed, "Better?" He nodded against her neck and she felt his hands run down into the back of her pants.
"Now these," Elliot mumbled while kissing down her chest. Gripping the band of her pants he pulled them down her legs, tossing them down next to her sweater.
Olivia looked up at him with hooded eyes, watching him as his eyes raked over her body, "You see something you like?"
He shook his head and looked into her eyes, "I see someone I love...you are absolutely beautiful."
"I love you," she said softly, cupping his face in her hands and bringing him down to her. She kissed him hard, sucking on his bottom lip and taking all of his mouth.
"It's midnight...Merry Christmas," he murmured, kissing behind her ear.
Her fingers ran through his hair, "Merry Christmas."
Olivia woke up Christmas morning wrapped in Elliot's arms. She could see the snow coming down outside through the window and there was a chill in the air. Snuggling in closer to him, his arms held her tighter, his hand rubbing her belly and she felt the baby kicking.
"We could never forget about you little one...Merry Christmas," Elliot said softly.
She kissed his chest, "It's our first Christmas together."
"First of many," he added, kissing her forehead. "I have your gifts for you if you want them?"
"I have yours too," she said reaching into her bedside table and pulling out two small wrapped boxes with a bow on them.
Elliot walked to the closet and rummaged in the back, walking back out with three small stacked boxes tied together with a ribbon.
"You can go fist," he smiled, sitting on the bed next to her and giving her the gifts.
Olivia smiled, taking the gifts from him and sitting up to rest against the head board.
Unwrapping the first box inside of it she found a small blue gem that matched the one she had on her necklace for Noah.
"So you have one for the baby now too," he told her.
She kissed his cheek, "Thank you...I'll put it on when I get ready today."
"Open the next one," he encouraged.
"Okay, okay," Olivia chuckled, tearing the paper away from the second box. There was an infinity ring that matched her wedding band except it was blue.
"I got you a blue one for our boys. You can stack it with your rings...they told me it was in style right now," Elliot said, taking the ring from the box and slipping it onto her finger.
Olivia admired her new ring, "It's beautiful but what about..."
He cut her off, "Open the next one."
She started on the next box, pulling the top off she found another infinity ring that was yellow.
"This one is for the Stabler kids...Kathleen liked yellow the best. I wanted you to have things that represented all of the kids," Elliot told her, slipping the next ring on her finger and kissing where it sat.
Olivia kissed his forehead, cupping his face in her hands and kissing his lips softly, "I love them, El. Everything is beautiful...Thank you so much."
He kissed her sweetly, "You're welcome, but I have one more thing for you...for us."
"You gave me enough already," she argued but he kissed her instead.
"I got us a weekend at one of the swanky hotels so we can have some alone time and relax before the baby comes," he murmured, kissing her cheek.
She pulled his face back from hers, "Are you serious?" He nodded his head and she kissed him again, "That's going to be so nice."
"Tell me about it," he chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"Okay, now open your gifts," she said handing him his presents.
Elliot unwrapped the top box and pulled a silver watch.
"I had it engraved with the day we met," Olivia told him, turning the watch over so he could see it.
5/14/98
"It feels like yesterday," he said softly, rubbing his thumb over the date.
She kissed his jaw, "I know...it's crazy."
"Thank you," he smiled, kissing her forehead.
"Open the other one," she smiled and rubbed his arm.
Elliot tore away the wrapping paper and popped the top off, "No way."
"Yes way," Olivia chuckled, enjoying how happy and excited he was.
"Season tickets for the Yankees next year? This had to cost you a fortune," he stuttered.
"Fin knew a guy," she chuckled and he smirked.
"You're amazing you know that?" Elliot smiled kissing her deeply.
"I love you," Olivia murmured against his lips.
He pulled back, kissing her once more, "I love you too."
"What time are your kids coming over?" She asked, stroking the side of his face.
He looked over at the clock, "About a half hour...they wanted to come over and watch Noah open his presents."
"Awe, that's so sweet...I don't know how much fun they'll have though," she chuckled, laying back against the bed.
"They'll love it...I think they're coming in pajamas too so don't worry about getting ready," Elliot told her, laying down next to her and wrapping his arm around her waist.
Olivia turned in his arms, resting her head on his chest, "Well that's easy then. We'll just have a big brunch since they're all going out to Kathy's parents."
"Sounds perfect," he mumbled into her hair. "I can't wait to see how excited Eli is about his present."
"Oh yeah, Don's dropping it off at nine. He wants to see Noah open his gifts," Olivia said, rubbing her hand over his chest.
Elliot rubbed the side of her belly and kissed her temple, "This is going to be an amazing Christmas...for all of us."
A/N: Part two of the Stabler Christmas should be up by Friday if I don't get it done tomorrow.
