"Summer!" I groggily woke up to my name being yelled out. I groaned as I shifted on the couch.
Yes, I fell asleep on the couch. I was way too tried to go to my room and deal with Aria last night with the fight and all. I lightly blushed at the memory of last night, which woke me up completely.
"Summer! Where did you go, and why did I have to go with those two to that place?!" Aria grabbed me by my shoulders, pulled me up, and shook me to the point of me almost peeing on myself.
"Aria! Stop before I piss!" I yelled as I grabbed her hands. Aria froze and let go of me. I sighed. "I forgot about a prior engagement I promised to attend." Aria rolled her eyes. "And since I also promised to take those two to Muku..." I zoned out as I remembered our last conversation.
Right, it was like I was daddy's little girl finally moving out, but daddy didn't want me to leave because of the dangers out there, thinking I couldn't take care of myself.
"Summer?" Aria snapped her fingers. I shook my head. "You okay?"
"Yeah, just, um, did Mukuro say anything about me?" I asked, feeling guilty for some reason and uncomfortable from holding in my pee.
"That's what I wanted to tell—"
"Summer!" The twins yelled together as they came downstairs. I clenched my jaw from having to hold in my pee that really wanted to burst out. "What the heck—"
"Sorry, I gotta go pee!" I yelled as I ran past them to get to the bathroom.
I made it and sighed in relief as I let out all the urine in my bladder. I looked around for a towel. I found one and decided to take a bath, so I can hopefully make it on time to school. I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, remembering I have to make an appointment to fix my braces, and ran to my room to grab a uniform. After, I checked my watch as I climbed down the stairs. My eyes widened.
"Guys!—" I stopped once I saw the twins waiting by the door for me. I couldn't help but smile. I tied on my shoes and snatched up my bag. "Let's go! We might be able to make it before the bell rings!" We ran out the door and sprinted to school.
~ Le Run to School ~
We stood there panting by the front gate I looked at my watch. I smiled.
"We—" The bell rung. I looked up with fear as I saw Kyoya come out from behind the front gate. "—didn't make it." I gulped.
"You're late, herbivores." Kyoya smirked. He seemed to particularly leer at me, which made me think back to last night again.
Kyoya is still pissed from when Tsuna ordered him to go away. And he is going to take that anger out on me. I gulped once again.
"Detention, for all three of you." I blinked.
What?
He gave us our detention slips. I noticed he took longer to write mine out compared to the twins. I took hold of the paper, but Kyoya still held it. I looked up, barely looking at him in the eyes. He smirked down at me before finally letting go.
"Hurry to class before I bite you to death." Kyoya growled. I nodded and pushed the twins into the school quickly without running.
~ Skipping Le Class Time To Lunchies ~
"Guys, why is Kyoya so annoying?" I complained once we settled on the roof.
"Don't say that Summer-chan!" Tsuna then whispered. "He could hear you." I rolled my eyes.
"I already have detention with him, where he's probably going to kill me anyway." I begrudgingly took a bite of my sandwich. "I'm so dead. If you don't see me tomorrow, you'll know why."
"Hibari's not that bad, Summer." Takeshi said with a weak smile.
"Are you fucking kidding me, baseball idiot?! That bastard is—"
"Wait." Ray spoke up, stopping the conversation. "Summer, you have detention with Hibari?" I frowned at the question.
"Yeah, my slip said to go to the disciplinary office, where he basically lives." I answered, having a bad feeling.
"Ours said to go to a classroom." Ray referred to himself and his brother. I felt my heart stop.
"You mean I'll—"
"—be all alone with Hibari." Reborn popped in. I felt myself go cold.
"Reborn!" Tsuna yelled with a frown. He turned to me. "It'll be okay, Summer-chan." Tsuna patted my shoulder. I felt warmer from his kindness.
"I don't know about that, Tsuna." I said with a grim expression. Tsuna frowned.
"I have an idea." Reborn spoke up once again. I glared at him.
"It better not involve another fight." I growled at him. "It was one of the reasons I was late and got detention in the first place."
"No." Reborn shook his head before jumping up on Tsuna's shoulder. "Why don't you," Reborn patted Tsuna's head, "tell Hibari that you and Summer have plans?" My eyes widened along with Tsuna's.
"I—" I cut Tsuna off.
"I don't think that's a good idea. Kyoya will just wait until the end of the month and bite me to death, probably along with Tsuna. Or, he'll explode before hand and still bite us to death." I explained with a glare pointed at Reborn. "Why do you want me to get killed so badly! I'm not even your student!"
"What are you guys talking about?" I paused and looked at the other four people up here.
Oh, right. Explanation time.
"Um, we—"
"Dame-Tsuna, Baka-More, and Hibari had a fight yesterday to determine who would get to order around the other two." Reborn explained.
While Takeshi and Hayato complained about not getting to see the fight, I looked at the twins. They looked at me with a raised eyebrow and disappointed looks. I looked away with shame.
That made me seem like a totally ass. It's like I abandoned them in order to get two dogs.
"You sure, Summer?" I snapped my head to look at Tsuna who was right beside me. I blushed lightly because, 1: He was pretty close to me, 2: He said said my name without a suffix, and 3: He looked so adorable with his concerned, huge, brown eyes. I mentally slapped myself. I said I would wait.
"Yeah. Better to get it over with now than later." I shrugged as I peer behind him to see Reborn starting to twitch as Hayato basically wined about not have gone to the fight. "You might want to calm them down." I turned Tsuna around to let him see. He shrieked before going over to them. I turned back to the twins.
I blinked. Why are they smirking?
"Uh, I'm sorry I—"
"Oh, I see now." Rye nudged his brother. "Little Summer wanted to be possessive." I frowned in confusion.
"What?"
The twins scooted over to me. "You like the Vongola Tenth, don't you?" I blushed once I heard them say that in sync. They laughed at me, capturing the attention of the other four. I blushed even more.
Luckily, the bell rung before anyone could ask why I was blushing. And considering that the twins were laughing at me, I'd like to think that they have already forgiven me.
