Chapter 50

"What….is this?" Hideko let out with wide shocked eyes to see what was before her. Mizuki was shrouded with what seemed like a skeletal creature. It just came out of no where. The Hyuuga girl stepped a few steps back after meeting the glaring eyes of the Uchiha girl. Mizuki's Mangekyou burned with rage. She had an overwhelming power, one that even Hideko knew was going to be give her trouble.

Mizuki clenched her teeth, as her body was in so much pain. She looked down at her shaky hands. She felt as if ever cell of her body was burning. She gazed at what seemed to be a ribcage that surrounded her, with a pink spiritual fog. After questioning what was going on, she came to realize what the creature was. It was the guardian, the third ability that one learned when the Mangekyou Sharingan was awakened, Susanoo. Mizuki was told about such power by her father, but what confused her was how did she get such a power ? She also was told one had to awaken two other abilities before Susanoo was able to be used… She pushed such thoughts away, recalling that the power wasn't going to last long. Her head shot up at the Hyuuga girl.

"I'm going to end this now." Mizuki ignored all the pain her body was going through as she made her first move with her new power. She lunged at Hideko, making the spiritual creature slash at her with it's claws. Hideko cursed under her breath before jumping out of the way. Mizuki's Susanoo kept trying to slash her.

"Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm!" Hideko tried to blow out an attack at one of Mizuki's vital spots, but the attack canceled once it even touched the creature. Mizuki took notice of this and made the creature try to catch her opponent.

Hideko jumped back, making sure she had a good distance from Mizuki. She was trying to understand why her attack didn't work before pulling out two small scrolls and set them uprightly down. She then clasped her hands together, kneeling down quick before Mizuki could even come close to her.

"Twin Rising Dragons!" She yelled as the scrolls shot up, spinning around in the air. Hideko then jumped in the middle of the twirling scrolls. "Take this!" she snapped as she sent a huge number of different weapons straight to Mizuki, some of them including paper bombs. The Uchiha girl didn't move, as she let the attack hit her right on. Smoke filled within the air while the explosives detonated. Hideko did not slow down as she continued throwing her weapons, uncaringly if Mizuki's remains were disintegrated. After the last few were thrown, the scrolls dropped to the ground just like Hideko. The Hyuuga girl panted quietly as the smoke began to clear. She snickered amused, as she thought her attacks must have ended Mizuki's life. Before she could even get up, a skeletal hand shot out of the debris, grabbing her in a tight hold.

"I'm sorry Hideko…but…" Hideko's eyes widened to see Mizuki still standing, unharmed from her attack. It seemed like the creature itself was a shield as none of the weapons passed through it's body. Mizuki's Mangekyou narrowed at Hideko. "I'm done with you."

The wolf man stared at Chan in shock to see his skin boiling red as everything around the boy was being pushed away.

"The fourth gate, gate of pain, Open!" Chan was entering once again into the gates like before. His veins popped out around his forehead.

"You're a genius Chan and you're a hard worker," Guy mused as he was training Chan in an open field. "So if you work very hard like your father did, I bet you will learn this technique with ease," he gave a thumbs up to the Genin. Chan rolled his eyes. "This new technique I'm going to teach you is forbidden."

This got Chan's attention. The boy raised an eyebrow at the man.

"But it should be used…only when the time comes…."

The boy frowned at this. "What do you mean when the time comes…?"
Guy placed his hands on his hips, and for the first time in the boy's eyes, the man seemed serious. No smile was present on the man.

"There is a reason why it's forbidden…"

Chan began feeling his patience run down. "Just tell when I can use it."

"The time for you to use the technique should be…"

A smile made its way on Chin's lips.

"Maybe this isn't the time to use it…but…" he said through his gritted teeth. "I'm not taking any more chances! The fifth Gate, gate of limit, Open!" Chan screamed as chakra violently surrounded him. The wolf man creature decided to attack now before the boy made his move.

"Fang Wolf Fang!" the creature spun his body violently to shoot at the boy.

"The sixth Gate, gate of View, Open!" Chan's eyes shot up dangerously before he smashed his fist right at the wolf's face. The werewolf was sent flying back but it twirled his body, claws digging into the ground before he hit a tree. He didn't even have a second to think as Chan ran at him with great speed, roundhouse kicking him away before teleporting behind him and kicked the wolf harshly on his chin. The creature was sent up to the sky. Chan then teleported in front of him in the air.
"Morning Peacock!" Chan screamed as he began to strike the creature with countless punches. The punches were set ablaze by the high speed. The wolf man couldn't react to the attacks. His body violently getting pummeled, its eyes widening in shock.

"Eat this!" Chan snapped as he punched the creature down with great force. It slammed harshly onto the hard ground before the transformation Jutsu that the creature was in vanished. Takeshi and his wolf lay on the ground, unconsciously. Chan also dropped to the ground hard, his body shaking with pain as he panted hoarsely. He really went over board… He laid on the ground, unable to move a muscle, but couldn't help but smile at the thought that he beat Takeshi. He tried to look over where Takeshi was, but slowly darkness consumed him, knocking him out.

Miso watched his enemy intently. His clones ready for any attack as Katsuo called forth many flying bugs near him.

"There is no way you can win," Katsuo hissed. Miso's clones looked at the original one who took a deep breath. The clone next to him began to help the original form a chakra rotating ball on his hand.

"Please…this time… let it work," Miso said under his breath. He hoped he could pull off the Rasengan at least to take down the majority of the bugs.

Katsuo noticed the chakra ball and set his bugs at Miso and his clones.

"I'm not going to let you do a thing!" he snapped. Miso's clones jumped in front of the original and got into a stance.

"Eight Trigrams Vacuum Wall Palm!" all of them released powerful waves of their chakra at the bugs, killing a good number of them, but they couldn't stop the rest that went around and attacked them. All of Miso's clones vanished except for the one that was helping him with his Rasengan.

Miso felt his heart beat fast when he saw the Rasengan stabilize in his hand while the bugs were enclosing on him. He quickly ducked down, sending a lot of his chakra to the bottom of his feet as the clone directed his hands at Katsuo's direction.

"Eight Trigrams Vaccum Palm!" he yelled he shot out his chakra straight to where Katsuo was, killing the bugs that were in the way, making an open path for Miso who sprung at Katsuo, with great speed, just in time to avoid getting eaten by the bugs that attacked his last clone. Katsuo's eyes widened to see Miso shot at him.

"Rasengan!" Miso cried out, slamming the ball of chakra at Katsuo's stomach. Bugs had immediately gathered like before to try and take most of the damage. "Not this time!" Miso rammed his attack full on, destroying all the bugs that shielded the boy before the enemy's eyes widened and he screeched in pain. The Rasengan grinded against Katsuo's stomach before it sent him flying back through the forest. Miso collapsed on his hands and knees, while all the bugs that were behind him spread away.

"Fuck all of you!" Hideko screeched with hatred at Mizuki after she had saw, with her Byakugan, Katsuo and Takeshi taken down by the other two boys. She struggled from Susanoo's clawed hand that kept a tight hold around the girl. It slowly raised Hideko's body up, Mizuki watching the girl with a hard look.

She didn't say a word as she had Susanoo slam Hideko's body hard on the ground with enough force to make sure the girl would stay down. Mizuki coughed out in pain as the creature slowly diminished into thin air. The Uchiha girl kept coughing, blood flying out from her mouth. She staggered back before falling to her side. The girl panted, shutting her eyes hard, deactivating her Mangekyou Sharingan. She knew the side affects of using such powerful eye technique would leave her vulnerable at the moment, and mentally cursed herself for lacking chakra to heal herself. The Susanoo ate away a lot of chakra…

"That power is a double edge sword, isn't it?"

Mizuki's shockingly opened her eyes, fear creeping in her heart as she heard the mocking voice of Hideko. She forced herself to sit up to see Hideko getting up, the same purple glow as the earlier Jashinists had consuming the Hyuuga's body. Hideko chuckled darkly, a twisted smile bearing at the Uchiha girl.

Miso forced himself to stand up, staring at Katsuo who like Hideko, glowed purple as he walked back to him. The boy's grin twitched with a hunger look for vengeance. Someone was behind him. Someone that Miso knew very well.

"Aunt Hanabi?" The boy stuttered. The woman watched at the boy with heartless eyes, with a purple glow to them too.

"I told you three to wait," Hanabi lectured his student annoyed. "Now looking for the ten tails is going to take a while."

Miso couldn't believe his aunt was looking for his teacher too. Why? Why were she and her students trying to kill them and take Tobi away? Why did they have the same glow like the other Jashinists?

"Don't worry sensei…. We'll find him," Katsuo mused before looking at Miso. "Just give up…" Katsuo didn't even show any reactions to the injuries that his body received. "You three are dead…"

Miso activated his Byakugan and glanced to the directions of his friends. His eyes widened to see both of his teammates were down while their opponents were closing in.

Chan was still out cold while Takeshi and his wolf loomed over the boy. He pulled out a kunai, kneeling down next to the body. He raised his kunai over the boy's head while at the other side, Hideko pulled out a scroll to summon a sickle as she was going to cut off Mizuki's head.

Miso placed his hands together, making ten clones.

"Go help Mizuki and Chan!" Miso shouted at his clones. He thanked his Uzumaki bloodline for having more chakra than the average shinobi. The clones were about to set off, but bugs popped from the ground and began devouring them. Miso panicked. He and his friends were going to die if he didn't do something. The bugs were glowing purple as they surrounded the boy like walls.

The boy felt his eyes water up. He felt weak as he couldn't fight against his aunt and Katsuo alone at the same time saving Mizuki and Chan. He was terrified, but had one more trick under his sleeve that kept him have his hopes. He bit on his thumb, drawing out blood before clasping his hands together. Bugs began to come at him. Miso shut his eyes hard, screaming as he gathered up all the chakra he could get. Even hoping the mysterious chakra he had before would come too.

"Die!" Katsuo franticly laughed, but stopped when a wall of wood shot from the ground and covered Miso, blocking him from all the bugs. Katsuo froze as two hands took a rough hold of his ankles and dragged him down to the ground. Hanabi jumped back, glaring at the spot where her student disappeared to. The bugs once again dispersed which was a sign that Katsuo was taken down.

"I should have known something was off about you…" Hanabi frowned and turned around to see Tobi, standing on a tree branch, glaring down at her. "Your students were too harsh on my students to be considered 'normal'," he said coldly. His wounds over all healed. He placed his hands together into a sign to uncover Miso from the wooden wall. The boy looked around, puzzled at what had happened before spotting his teacher on the tree. His eyes lit up, a smile widened.

"Sensei!" Miso yelled with glee. He was happy to see him alive. He wanted to hug him, apologize for abandoning him before. He felt tears trail down his cheeks before he wiped them away with his sleeve. The tears were from relief. The boy also noticed how his teacher wasn't wearing a mask. The man's face was visible and from his expression, he was not happy. The boy remembered about his teammate's states. "Sensei!" the boy got his teacher's attention. "Mizuki and Chan are in trouble!"

Tobi didn't seem change his expression. "Don't worry about them."

Miso blinked with confusion.

"They're in safe hands."

Takeshi was going to ram his kunai down at the boy's head but someone hooked kicked him hard to the ground. His wolf was going to attack the intruder, but failed as he was thrust kicked away harshly.

Koichi quickly kneeled down, making sure Chan was breathing by checking his pulse on his neck. The older teen sighed in relief and pulled the younger boy's body over his shoulder before running off, to get the boy medical attention.

Mizuki's mouth hanged open to see Keiko slam a fist straight at Hideko's face. Hideko cried out in pain, hitting the ground hard on her side, but she didn't stay on the ground for too long as she jumped to her feet and glared at Keiko. The older teen stood in front of Mizuki, with a serious look.

"I knew you were a bitch the first time I met you," Keiko said annoyed. "Then again, it's not your fault you're being controlled…"

Mizuki looked up at Keiko, unable to understand what the girl meant by her words. She gasped as a white hand emerged besides her and clutched her right arm.

"Don't worry," Keiko turned to the Uchiha girl. "He's going to give you chakra."

Mizuki felt her body regain power and instantly she began to heal herself. Her hand glowed over her chest. Keiko offered a hand to the girl before pulling Mizuki up to her feet.

"Your friends are safe too."

"Uchiha are nothing more but fucking cheaters," Hideko hissed. Keiko glared at the girl.

"Says you."

"What do you mean she's being controlled?" Mizuki asked the older teen. She was meaning to ask her ally.

Keiko pointed down to her lower abdomen.
"She and her teammates have something implanted around this area," she explained. "It's releasing a dark power that's consuming them."

"How do you know this?" Mizuki asked with doubt.

"Let's say we have a friend that only he could sense it," Keiko smiled.

Mizuki glanced over to where Hideko was, placing her hands together before gathering up purple chakra around her.

"If we want a chance to save her, we need to work together," Keiko told the younger girl as she got into a stance. Mizuki's hand stopped glowing over her chest and gave her ally a nod.

"Alright…" she activated her Sharingan, but winced in pain. She grabbed her head, feeling dizzy as she quickly deactivated her power.

Keiko took notice of this.

"You alright?"

Mizuki nodded, straightening up to see Hideko's awaken her Byakugan with a dark malice to it. The veins around her eyes popped out more.

Mizuki was thinking about what Keiko said. Supposedly the Hyuuga girl was being controlled… Was this the reason Hideko tried killing her? How long were she and her teammates under the influence of Jashin? The girl had so many questions in her mind and couldn't help but hate this so called Jashin more. Not only was the cult sacrificing people, trying to take her sensei away, but they had the nerve to control others against their free will? Then again how did Hideko and her teammates get controlled? She decided to keep her questions on hold. She had to rip whatever was in Hideko's abdomen and free her from whatever possessed her before she could get her answers. It was a good thing she had her mother's medical skills. She quickly pulled out a kunai as Hideko lunged at them with bloodlust.

"Watch over him," Koichi told the cloaked man that had risen from the ground. The teen placed the unconscious boy on the ground. The cloaked man noticed one of Chan's legs was seriously injured. The leg was almost ripped open and was losing a lot of blood. Both heard howls come to their direction. "They're coming," Koichi reminded himself that he had to stop the possessed Genin without killing him.

"You sure you can take them both, alone?" The cloaked man asked his 'student'.

Koichi turned and narrowed his eyes to where he could smell the stench of the wolf boy. Their surroundings was hard to see as it was very dark; the only thing that lit up the place was the dark purple moon above them.

"Of course," he got into a defensive stance, both hands up as he closed his eyes, trying to listen to his surroundings. The cloaked man took Chan away with him into the ground, leaving Koichi alone. He heard leaves crunching near him.

"Fang Wolf Fang!"

Koichi's eyes shot open with bright red eyes just in time to jump over Takeshi, who had taken the form of a werewolf once again, tried to use his vortex attack on the boy. Koichi twisted his body with great speed, in midair. "Wood Release: Roots Technique!" The teen yelled as roots shot out of his arms and slammed down on the werewolf, binding his limbs into the ground. The werewolf cried out, struggling from his restraints. Roots were all over the creature's body. Katsuo stood over the imprisoned creature, with Sharingan eyes looking down. He had three tomoe in each eye.

"Too easy."
