They drove in mostly silence. When they finally made it to Central, Yoki drove right into a pothole. Heinkel and Alphonse got out of the car and tried to lift it out. When they finally got the car out, they all piled back in and Yoki continued to drive frantically.
"You could at least thank me!" Yoki cried, not paying attention to where he was going. As such, he ran right into a lamp post. After they all settled down form the impact, Renee jumped out and began running. The others followed closely behind her. When they ran out of an alley Al stopped.
"Is that..." Al said. They watched the smoke rise from the buildings. Renee grimaced and began running again. Heinkel suddenly jumped back, staring at the ground. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Al asked.
"Do you sense something?" Renee asked. A low rumbling came from underground, and bright blue lights shone. As they watched in awe, an eye opened up under Al's feet.
"Al!" Renee yelled, running towards him, but held her back. Tiny black shadow hands came up, grabbing onto Alphonse, his body slowly disintegrating. "AL!" Renee cried trying to reach out to him.
A/N: R.I.P. Fu and Captain Buccaneer, your sacrifice was not in vain.
sorry that this chapter is so short. There isn't a lot of Al's group going on in these past episodes, like none at all in some episodes. I just had to work with what I had. Plus as I said, my computer is deciding to act up, I'm typing this up on my iPod XP but please read and review. Thank you!
