CHAPTURE 52

MASTER POV

He pulled back as he finished the last bit of his work off. Rose frowned at her new memories and her grip on him tightened. He smiled as she curled into him in her sleep. He gently kissed the top of her head.

Now she had no one to leave him for. She thought the Doctor was some evil manic, she thought that Jack was a poor brainwashed soul, and that her parents never loved her. He had become the only person in her life. He became the only person who ever cared for her, the only one to protect her, and the only person that loved her. The only reason she would leave him was if she found out the truth, and he was not going to let that happen.

He stayed there for a while. He would have stayed longer, but he began to get restless. Plus there were no signs that another night fit was going to start. He gently pulled out of himself out of his embrace. He walked to the control room to tinker.

The TARDIS now trusted him. It worked with him and they now got along fine. Most of the time it did exactly what he wanted it to do. He was ecstatic when he found out the Doctor had tried to enter, and even with his key the ship refused to let him in. It even alerted the Master about it when he got there a few hours later. Now, like Rose, the ship was completely his.

Soon he began to get hungry so he went to the kitchen. He bit his tongue when he saw Rose sitting at the table with a plate of untouched toast in front of her. After all this work today she only slept for four hours. She should of slept for much longer, especially with the major mind change.

Her mind was still piecing all the new memories he gave her together. She should be asleep while it happened so that her mind rested as it worked everything out. She should have been asleep for roughly twelve hours. It was not exactly dangerous for her to be awake while her mind settled, but it should give her one heck of a headache.

He knew now that all the will power she had was going to stay awake. He had told her mind to sleep, and she did, he just did not tell her to stay asleep. So she woke herself up. Her body seemed to fight her on this also. She was pale and there were dark circles around her eyes. Maybe a really strong sleeping drug would work.

He would let her stay awake for a while, and then he would slip off to the med bay to get the strongest drug he had. He really needed to work on getting her to sleep more, more than every six days. If she kept this up then it would kill her.

He sat down on the table beside her "Hey" and grabbed a slice of toast.

She said nothing but starred off into space. He clicked his fingers in front of his face but nothing happened. Ok, he needed to get her to sleep now. He waked to the med bay and got what he needed. She was in no condition to eat or drink anything so he would have to inject it in her. He put it into a needle. He put in a little more than a normal dose for a human would be.

He went back to the kitchen to find Rose in the same position as she was in the first place. He walked over and injected it into her arm. She flinched slightly and her eyelids began to drop. He once again carried her to the bed room and put her in the bed. Then he told the ship to alert him if she woke up.

He walked back and forth in the hallway. He was worried about Jackie. He could care less about her happiness, but she was very close to the leader of Torchwood. The last thing the Master needed was Torchwood hunting him down. He would have to do something about Jackie.

After a bit of thinking, he thought of a way he could keep a promise to Jackie. Just not in the way she had imagined. Rose was asleep, and would hopefully stay that way, so now was the perfect time to act. He set the coordinates for a week after he picked up Rose. Jackie would be waiting for them.
