Day (November)

Today proved how being friends with someone, letting emotions rule your head, is the ultimate disadvantage. See, you know that trainee I mentioned on Halloween? Turns out there was a valid reason why she freaked out when she saw me. She and I are old pals. I mean, a girl the same age as me who still wears blond pigtails? I should have guessed. I'm sure you can.

As part of her training, she had to participate in a therapy session with me. Alone. People would be observing from outside, of course, though it was still a big step. She must have built up to it by observing other sessions first, I doubt they'd throw her in at the deep end. Or maybe I'm wrong – after all, isn't that what life does? It's not about chance, though I do admire the connotation of chaos which is indirectly linked to chance. Whichever way she was made to lead my therapy, it happened.

It went fairly well, though I could tell she was nervous from the start. Well, more like terrified. I could smell it on her. She tried her best to hide it, but I seem to have a tendency to bring out people's weaknesses. It wasn't her fault, none of it was. She asked me the most procedural questions I've ever heard, and I tagged along with them, just to lead her into a false sense of security. Then I got bored. It suddenly dawned on me that my time at Arkham Asylum was done, that I was no longer welcome. I had to leave. You know what I'm like, I just… do things.

I decided to leave so I did.

I gave no inclination to H… her as to what I was about to do. Instead, I simply leapt from across the desk, shoved her into a wall (she was in my way, I didn't intent to harm her) and broke out of the door. There were two doctors guarding the door, so I barged past them and flew down the corridor. They pursued me until I reached the double doors, the entrance to the asylum, where another couple of security guards stood. I backtracked a little so the doctors ran past me, I grabbed a Taser from one of them and electrocuted the other with it while elbowing the one I stole the Taser from, so they both fell down. In those precious moments, I swiped a gun from one security guard and shot him with it, a kill shot to the head. I aimed it at the other security guard, who surrendered immediately, though I slid the gun down until it aimed at his knees, both of which I shot in rapid succession. When he fell I clutched his hair so his head was held up, looking me in the eyes.

"Remember me." I whispered to him, let his head fall, then I laughed while I left. I laughed excitedly. I laughed manically. I laughed insanely, some might say, but I'm not insane. Oh, I'm in the right frame of mind, I'm telling you now. Don't you ever forget that. HAAhahahahAhaAHah
