This episode of Death Battle is written by Zivon96.
Zivon: How do you make any hero more awesome? You give him control over one of the elements.
DAM: And if that doesn't work, you give him a few upgrades, like turning him into a freaking robot!
Zivon: Like Kopaka Nuva, the Toa Nuva of ice, and Cyber Sub-Zero the cryomancing cyborg Kombatant.
Hazzamo: He's Zivon, that's DAM and I'm Hazzamo, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and abilities to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Zivon: There have been two men to bear the title of Sub-Zero, a pair of brothers born in Earthrealm and descended from Cryomancers, an Outworld species with the ability to generate and control ice.
DAM: Cryomancers are essentially alien Canadians, being able to live in extreme cold. However, they replaced their trademark saying 'sorry' all the time, for freezing people and then smashing the ice. Note to self, do not piss off Canadians other than Zivon.
Hazzamo: The Cryomancers control ice by manipulating and freezing the moisture in the air. As a result, they can freeze their opponents solid, create ice blasts and even form weapons out of ice. Some of them, like the Sub-Zero brothers even appear to have ice forming over their arms.
Zivon: The brothers who would become Sub-Zero were born to a Cryomancer father and an American human mother, the brothers inheriting their control over ice from their father.
DAM: The father, however, proved to be a bit of a dick, as he decided "fuck my wife wanting to see her kids, I'm taking these little bastards back to China with me." And so he did, signing them up to join the Lin Kuei, where they became trained assassins and were probably touched inappropriately.
*Technical Difficulties: Please Stand By*
Hazzamo: When being trained as Lin Kuei Assassins, both brothers would be taught the fighting styles of Dragon and Shotokan. Shotokan is a school of Karate, meaning that it focuses on striking with punches, kicks, knees and elbows as well as open handed techniques. Shotokan is a school of Karate that focuses on strength and speed, though those who advance far enough in the school are also taught grappling and throwing to a certain extent, but the most predominant style in Shotokan involves fluid and powerful striking. Dragon, meanwhile, is a style of Shaolin Boxing, with the stance based off the mythical Chinese Dragon. Students of Dragon will learn to strike hard with mainly the hands before learning to do so in a much more fluid motion.
Zivon: It was these martial arts and Cryomancer abilities that caught the attention of Shang Tsung, who hired the elder Sub-Zero Bi-Han to fight in the Mortal Kombat Tournament.
DAM: Yeah, that idea didn't go so well. Bi Han entered the tournament, but he promptly got dragged literally down to hell where he got his ass handed to him by everyone's favourite undead ninja, Scorpion. Scorps then proceeded to murder Bi Han, tearing out his skull with the spine still attached to it. Nice one Scorpion.
Zivon: Angered at his brother's murder, Kuai Liang, aka Sub-Zero the younger, entered the next Mortal Kombat Tournament in Outworld to find and punish his brother's killer. Though Sub-Zero was able to defeat Scorpion, destiny intervened afterward, as he was abducted by his own Lin Kuei brothers and forced into the Cyber Initiative, the push to turn all the Lin Kuei into machines.
Hazzamo: Once he had gotten his... upgrade... Cyber Sub-Zero was born and made into a servant of Shao Kahn and was sent on missions of Konquest to Earthrealm.
Zivon: As a cyborg, Sub-Zero kept all the abilities and skills of his previous life, being just as adept at martial arts, if not more so thanks to his metal limbs inflicting extra damage. He also gained the abilitiy to fire ice bombs, use his ice slide, disassemble and reassemble his limbs at will, and perform his fatalities and x-ray moves.
Hazzamo: His x-ray move is called "Cool Down" and in it he jumps behind the enemy and uses a massive ball of ice to crack open their skull like a watermelon before forming an ice blade and jamming it into their back and out the front. His fatalities are "Kold Fusion" where he freezes both himself and the enemy before self destructing, destroying both of them, and "Brain Freeze" where he fires remote control shuriken right into their eyes and into the brain to make a nice brain smoothie by activating both of them.
DAM: Sub-Zero was sent to earth as an enforcer of Shao Kahn's might. But then he was beaten by the Earthrealm Kombatant Kabal, which somehow restored his soul and mind. Mortal Kombat logic everyone. Got a problem? No matter what it is, just beat the shit out of it and it'll somehow fix itself. Want to get a date with a hot chick? Beat the shit out of her friend. Want to bring back the mind of a brainwashed cyborg? Beat the shit out of him and hope for the best. Douchebag suspending the greatest quarterback of all time? Discredit him and beat the shit out of him."
Zivon: Though for some reason it didn't work on Sektor or Cyrax, even after Sub-Zero beat them both up at once.
Hazzamo: Cyber Sub-Zero is as tough as they come, having gone up against both Cyrax and Sektor at once, as well as the Shokan warriors Goro and Kintaro. At the same time. Do I need to remind you of how huge those fuckers are?
DAM: Even with all that, Cyber Sub-Zero is far from the perfect fighter. He's lost his fair share of matches as both a human and cyborg, and he never was able to avenge his brother's death. Not only that, but as seen in the first Mortal Kombat movie, his powers can be turned against him if someone he's fighting has a supply of water handy, as it froze thanks to his ice powers and impaled him. Smooth move there, frosty.
Zivon: That said, Sub-Zero was formidable as a human, and as a cyborg he has only gotten stronger.
Sub-Zero throws an ice grenade in his chest cavity. "You are not so fearsome."

Zivon: In the time before time, the Great Spirit Mata Nui was the ruler of the Matoran Universe, and ruled them under the law of the Three Virtues: Unity, Duty and Destiny.
DAM: Hah! You said duty...
Zivon: As a security measure, should anything happen to Mata Nui, six warriors known as the Toa Mata were created to defeat whatever threatened him, and restore the Great Spirit to his power. And one of the most powerful of those warriors was the Toa of Ice, Kopaka.
Hazzamo: Kopaka was the second in command of the Toa Mata, and had complete powers over ice and snow, with the ability to control, create or absorb both snow and ice. In fact, in his first appearance, Kopaka's control over ice was so great that he could stop an avalanche by tapping it with his sword. He then returned to looking at clouds.
Zivon: Washing up on the island of Mata Nui in pieces and with no memory of his life before then, Kopaka soon learned of his destiny to work with the other Toa Mata to bring Mata Nui out of a comatose state imposed by the evil Makuta. To do this, he would have to collect the six different Kanohi Masks hidden all around the island, and gain all the powers therein.
DAM: Kopaka already wore the Kanohi Akaku, the great mask of x-ray vision, granting him both the ability to see through solid objects and also telescopic vision through the mask's telescopic lens. Man, what I wouldn't give for one of those.
Hazzamo: DAM's perversions aside, Kopaka also collected five other masks from around Mata Nui: the masks of levitation, shielding, strength, speed and underwater breathing. While he can't use more than one power at a time, he can switch between any of these masks with just a thought.
Zivon: With all six masks in hand, Kopaka and his team descended into Makuta's lair and managed to defeat him. After this, the Toa returned to the surface to find, big shock, another threat, the Bokrok swarms, and after defeating them, Kopaka and the other Toa would be changed forever. They were exposed to the substance Energized Protodermis, a mysterious liquid that will do one of two things to anyone exposed to it: kill them, or, if they're destined, transform them into a new, more powerful form.
DAM: So this stuff could either kill me or make me into Super DAM? I have to go find some of this shit!
Hazzamo: As hilarious as it would be to watch you try to find a mythical substance that could kill you, we have a show to run.
DAM: Aw...
Hazzamo: Anyway, Kopaka and the other Toa Mata emerged from the Energized Protodermis in all new forms. No longer were they just Toa. Now, they were the Toa Nuva. Faster, stronger, and with greater elemental powers, the Toa Nuva were more powerful than ever.
DAM: However, this change came with one major downside. All those masks that they fought so hard to reclaim? Yeah, they were lost and the Toa now needed to find a whole new set. It was worth it in the end though, as these new Kanohi Nuva Masks were also way stronger. I'll bet he could use that new mask to peep from even further away.
Zivon: DAM's continuing perversions aside, the change also made Kopaka more durable, adding extra armour made of protosteel to his already armoured body. Protosteel is a metal so refined that it takes either incredibly strong elemental powers, or another piece of protosteel to damage it. That's right, it's another one of those "stronger than titanium" alloys. Not only this, but Kopaka also carries a shield made of the stuff, as well as two protosteel ice blades that can be used as either twin swords, a double ended sword or can be attached to his feet to be used as ice skates or skis.
Hazzamo: Kopaka's elemental powers were also strengthened, allowing him vastly superior reserves of elemental energy, as well as heavy resistance to the cold, to the extent that he could spend days in a raging blizzard and complain about nothing more than the noise of the wind.
Zivon: Kopaka's ice powers extend even beyond there. He can create ice blasts, flash freeze enemies in a foot thick shell of ice with just a touch, and can whip up a snowstorm with a wave of his arm. He has also frozen over an entire lake by sticking the tip of his sword in it.
Hazzamo: Kopaka's ice is so cold and so solid that he was once able to create a raft made of ice to cross a river of lava.
DAM: And if all that wasn't enough, Kopaka can call upon the last resort of a Toa: the Nova Blast. Gathering up pretty much all his elemental power, Kopaka can create a blast of ice so powerful, it will annihilate or freeze anything for miles.
Zivon: A normal Toa can use his or her Nova Blast to cover about a mile, but thanks to the extra power of the Toa Nuva, one of theirs can, and has been seen to cover an entire island. A Nova Blast from his teammate Gali managed to completely drown the Island of Karzahni, wiping out everything on the island with a tsunami from hell. The only downside, it takes a bit of time to charge up if he really wants its full power.
Hazzamo: Kopaka's also not entirely reliant on his powers alone, since when his Nuva Symbol, the source of his ice power, was stolen, he was able to track down all the Kanohi Nuva with no elemental powers at all.
Zivon: That said, Kopaka is far from a perfect warrior. Despite his insistence that he is best off on his own, his biggest accomplishments and victories have all been either with the help of his team, or with at least one other Toa.
DAM: Not only that, but if his Symbol is taken from his possession or the possession of his people, he will lose all his power. What a shitty deal, hear, have this amazing power, but only if you have this pointless item in your possession.
Hazzamo: In spite of all this, Kopaka is never one to back down from a fight. When the Matoran are threatened, he will show those who threaten them that justice is very cold.
Kopaka stabs his blade into a lake and freezes it solid. "Rahkshi, washed and chilled."
Kopaka Nuva
Height: 7'2"

Weapons and powers:
Can Create, Control and Absorb Ice
Protosteel Blades/Skates and Shield
Protosteel Armour

Weakness:
Many victories accomplished with help of other Toa
Powers tied to symbol that can be stolen, costing him all his powers
Zivon: Alright, the combatants are set, and it's time to end the debate once and for all
Hazzamo: We've got Cyber Sub-Zero, the cyborg cryomancer ninja, and Kopaka Nuva, the hero of ice.
DAM: It's time for a Death Battle!
A frozen wind blew through the ice village of Ko-Koro, but not a soul moved in response. A look inside the village would quickly reveal why, as nearly all Matoran villagers in sight were either frozen or outright dead or unconscious. If one were to follow a trail of footprints through the village, they would lead past the villagers and into the Suva Shrine where the Nuva Symbol of Kopaka Nuva rested. Cyber Sub-Zero casually walked past the frozen guards at the entrance as he reached for the symbol. "Mission complete." He muttered.
Suddenly, as he was about to grab the symbol, a blizzard began out of nowhere, fierce and freezing winds flying all around him, massive amounts of snow blinding him. From the other end of the shrine, a voice rang out. "What's that there?" It asked, cold and hard as the mountain the village was built upon. "Oh yes," it said, a wall of ice separating the ninja from the shrine. "It's mine."
Seemingly just as it began, the blizzard ceased, all the snow flying into a figure that stood across from Sub-Zero. It was Kopaka Nuva, blades and shield at the ready.
The two cyborg warriors of ice stood on opposite ends of the shrine, glaring at each other. Only one was walking out of here.
FIGHT!
Sub-Zero made the first move, launching an ice grenade at Kopaka, but the Toa shifted to his mask of shielding, the grenade covering the front of his domed shield in frost. Kopaka lowered the barrier, switched back to his mask of x-ray vision and leapt at the cyber ninja, ice blade raised. Creating a blade of ice, Sub-Zero blocked the attack, but Kopaka struck him with a backhanded strike from his shield, knocking the ninja on his back. He moved to finish him off when Sub-Zero fired a blast of ice from his chest, Kopaka reacting just in time for the blast to hit his shield instead of his chest, but Sub-Zero was well willing to take advantage of the distraction, kicking him in the center of the shield and knocking him away so he could get to his feet.
Once back on his feet, Sub-Zero created and hurled several large balls of ice, all aimed at Kopaka's head. Kopaka blocked the first one with his shield and leapt over several others, but one lucky shot hit him in the chest. Sub-Zero sprung into action at this and re-created his sword, charging at the Toa of Ice. Kopaka raised his own blade and the two began exchanging blows, their blades becoming a blur of motion and sparks as they traded shots.
After a particularly effective parry, Sub-Zero leapt over the Toa and planted a kick in the back of his head, throwing him to the ground. A blast of ice later, and the Toa was frozen to the ground in a shell of ice. "I tried to warn you." Sub-Zero muttered, stepping away from the frozen Toa and toward the Symbol again. As his back was turned, however, he failed to notice Kopaka rising to his feet, the ice from his attack disappearing into his body.
"And I should have warned you," Kopaka said, catching the ninja's attention. "Toa don't go down easy." Without another word, Kopaka whipped up another blizzard with a wave of his sword. Surging forward and leaping over Sub-Zero, he grabbed his symbol and placed it in his pack. "You want it, you'll have to catch it." With those words, Kopaka ran out of the Suva to the steep slopes of the mountain. Splitting his sword into its two halves, he threw them in the air and leapt up in a flip after them, catching the blades on his feet as skis.
Realizing his target was getting away, Sub-Zero formed a snowboard out of ice and sped down the mountain after the Toa. Turning to see that the cyborg was gaining on him, Kopaka amped up the strength of the storm around them, winds whipping at them as they sped down the sloped of the mountain. Opening his chest cavity, Sub-Zero fired a blast of ice at Kopaka, but the Toa strafed to dodge it. With the storm growing stronger by the second, Sub-Zero knew he had to catch up soon, or he'd lose his target completely.
Firing a trio of grenades, Sub-Zero hoped to catch Kopaka, but the Toa leapt over the ensuing explosions and disappeared into the thickening storm. Sub Zero made to follow him, but as he did, he felt the ground disappear beneath his makeshift snowboard as he fell into a massive gorge hidden in the storm. He cried out as he fell.
Kopaka watched him fall as he hung onto the wall of the gorge with his two swords in the wall and his shield on his back. He allowed a slight smirk to grace his mask as he watched the ninja fall. Switching to the mask of levitation, he pulled his swords out of the wall and descended gently to the bottom of the gorge. May as well check and make sure he was dead.
Reaching the bottom of the pit, Kopaka saw the scattered parts of his opponent all over the ground. "Never stood a chance." He muttered as he prepared to ascend again. A stirring noise caught his attention however.
The Toa of ice turned to see the scattered limbs of his enemy were assembling themselves, before his eyes, the battered form of Sub-Zero soon standing before him. "No more running." The ninja declared, re-forming his ice blade.
"Fine by me." Kopaka said, re-forming his twinblade and taking out his shield.
The two stared each other down for a time before they both charged as one, swords meeting as the echoes of their duel were heard across the canyon. Kopaka spun his blade in a circular motion of constant attacks, but Sub-Zero, being the smaller, lighter fighter was much more agile and was dodging his attacks and even making some of his own, none of them being able to breach Kopaka's protosteel armour.
Finally, it seemed Sub-Zero had had enough. Throwing his blade at Kopaka, he charged, blocking his sword being a perfect distraction for the Toa, allowing him to get past his shield and disarm him, grabbing Kopaka's blade and kicking him in the chest, disarming him and tossing the weapon aside. With his enemy disarmed, Sub-Zero began his attack anew, though as he did, he couldn't help but notice the temperature beginning to drop. And that his opponent was the source of the change in temperature.
Kopaka grimaced as he blocked blow after blow on his shield. He had a plan in mind, but if he was interrupted, this fight could easily go to his enemy. For now, he played it safe, using his shield to absorb Sub-Zero's attacks.
Having had enough of Kopaka's shield, Sub-Zero tossed another three ice grenades at Kopaka's feet. The grenades went off, sealing Kopaka's lower half in a foot thick layer of ice. As the Toa began to absorb the ice, Sub-Zero slowly moved in on his prey. He noticed, however, that above them the storm had ceased, the temperature in the area had dropped to nearly fifty below, and the source of the drop in temperature was coming from Kopaka who was now glowing white with wisps of frost coming off his body.
"I told you," said Kopaka "You never stood a chance." With those words, the Toa Nuva took a deep breath and let his control over ice slip, the energy he had charged since he was disarmed being released in the massive Nova Blast. It began as a blizzard, but the snow soon became hail, and the winds dropped hundreds of degrees below zero, the hailstones massively increasing in size until they resembled boulders of ice. Within the confines of the gorge, the force of the blast was re-directed upon itself, making it all the stronger and crushing Sub-Zero under a rain of massive hailstones, ice spears and a three foot layer of ice. By the time it had all ended, Kopaka slumped over in exhaustion as he absorbed the ice that still bound him. Freeing and retrieving his blade from the ice, he walked over to where Sub-Zero was frozen, half his body crushed by a massive hailstone, while the upper half was impaled by an ice spear. To make sure his opponent didn't simply reassemble himself, Kopaka drove his blade into the ice, right through Sub-Zero's head, splitting it in half like a log filled with blood and brain matter that spewed out from the crack in the ice.
Pulling back his sword, he sheathed it and walked away from the frozen, sealed corpse of the cyber ninja.
K.O.!
DAM: Damn, that was cold!
Zivon: While Sub-Zero was definitely the faster of the two, mask of speed notwithstanding, Kopaka was by far the more resilient. He's constructed from a superior alloy and with the extra protosteel plating, he can take one hell of a lot more punishment. Yes, Cyber Sub-Zero was able to beat both Sektor and Cyrax at once, but Kopaka was able to survive an all out fight against all his teammates who are just as powerful as him, and in the end he was able to outlast four of them. Not only that, but he has also fought more dangerous foes like the Rahi-Nui and Bohrok-Kal without the aid of his ice powers. On top of that, while Kopaka and Sub-Zero both could create ice, Kopaka had the distinct advantage of also being able to control and absorb it as well, meaning that Sub Zero's attacks could only delay him for so long. With one of his most powerful tools nearly useless right out the gate, Sub-Zero is at an immediate disadvantage, especially when put up against the one factor he simply couldn't beat: Kopaka's Nova Blast. A Nova Blast has the power to level an entire island, so the second Kopaka was able to finish charging his, Sub-Zero was doomed, since a Nova Blast has the power to level an entire island in one shot. Once charged, the battle went to Kopaka.
Hazzamo: Sub-Zero may have been a skilled fighter, but against Kopaka's superior powers and armour, he just couldn't win.
DAM: Kopaka was just way cooler than Sub-Zero.
Zivon: The winner is Kopaka Nuva.

Pyramid Head
A man with black, spiky hair wrapped in a cloak wanders through an abandoned, decrepit building. All around him he could hear the sounds of whispering, distant screams, and opening and shutting doors. It was nothing new to this experienced man of similar horrors, merely ignoring it as he walked on through the halls and further into the heart of the building. Soon, all around him went silent, the man freezing in place as the only sound was the eardrum-destroying squeal of metal, heavy metal, being dragged over a concrete floor. Out of the darkness soon emerged its source, a man with a massive, metal cage shaped like a pyramid lying on his shoulders. Dragging behind the man was a massive blade, shaped like an oversized knife. The figure froze as it appeared to look at the man in black, who only responded with his own cold stare. The figure reached back with its other hand and grabbed the lengthy handle of the gigantic knife, lumbering towards the man once more. The man reached over his shoulder and grabbed a long handle, drawing it back over his head and producing a massive sword, the motion parting his cape and revealing a black set of armor underneath. He aimed the sword before him, glaring through his one open eye at the Pyramid Head and kept the point of the slab of iron at him. "Another apostle to be put down for good." Guts declared.
Ready to Walk the Blade's Edge?
FIGHT!
Guts lunged at Pyramid Head with sword raised, the monster getting the great knife's broad side up to catch the Dragonslayer's blade with an explosion of sparks. Guts pressed his sword down with all his might, grunting and straining his every muscle in his arms to cut the pyramid off the monster's shoulders. Pyramid Head's hand shot out into Gut's chest, grabbing him by the rim of the armor by his neck and hoisting him off his feet. Guts choked for air as Pyramid Head looked up at the swordsman, bringing his arm and Guts back then throwing him down the hall, tumbling to a stop and gasping for air. Guts looked up as Pyramid Head made his way down the hall, great knife dragging behind him. Without a moment to lose, Guts reached into a pouch on his chest and produced a throwing knife, hurling it at Pyramid Head and striking him right in the stomach. The monster froze in its tracks, not taking its face off of Guts as it reached for the steel sunk into its stomach, harshly ripping it out and tossing it aside. This gave Guts the time to affix a crossbow to his mechanical arm, grabbing the crank on the side and firing off a hail of bolts at Pyramid Head. Dozens of arrows stuck into the monster's chest and stomach, a few bouncing off the metal head but one flew through one of the numerous small openings on it. Pyramid Head grabbed his head and reared back, as if in pain, and thrashed about the bloody bolt knocking around inside before falling back out. The monster looked back at Guts, only to find the swordsman before him and swinging his sword at Pyramid Head. The flat of the blade slammed into Pyramid Head's side, throwing him into the wall and crushing him between the two hard objects. Pyramid Head fell to his hands and knees, fingers still tightly wrapped around the grip of his great knife. Guts brought his leg back and planted the toe of his boot into the monster's chest, cracking a rib and making the monster roll back several times over. The swordsman was on him once more, sword pointing down at Pyramid Head's chest and brought before his face. Just before he could bring it down, Pyramid head swung his great knife up at Guts' shoulder, slicing through his armor and partially through the bone. Blood spurted from the wound as Guts shrieked in shock, Pyramid Head sliding his blade out of the wound and allowing Guts to grab his shoulder and step back. Pyramid Head used his blade as a crutch to push himself back up to his feet, turning to find Guts glaring at him. "Why won't you die yet, you freak?!" Guts growled.
Pyramid Head grabbed a close bunch of bolts in his chest and ripped them out, dropping them to his side. Guts tossed his crossbow aside and charged ahead at the monster, bringing his sword overhead and swooping it down at Pyramid Head. Guts' assault ended without warning, his pupil dilating as he looked on at Pyramid holding the blade of Dragonslayer in his hand, having stopped it with little more than a cut palm, blood dripping down his arm. "What…what are you?!"
I haven't encountered anyone this tough against my sword since Zodd. Whatever he is, I have to be careful and not underestimate him.
Guts pulled his blade back, slicing deeper into Pyramid Head's hand and spilling more of his blood. Guts spun around, using his cape to dazzle the monster and take away his focus as he brought his blade around to cut his body in half. His blade was stopped by the great knife once more, held out beside Pyramid Head's side and stuck into the ground for further resistance. Guts smirked as he whispered, "Gotcha."
Guts brought his mechanical arm back and threw it at the point of Pyramid Head's head, crumpling it inward with the sheer force of his blow. Pyramid Head stumbled back, shaking its head wildly once more in pain. Guts brought his blade overhead to finish the monster, only for Pyramid Head to turn on a dime and thrust half his blade through Guts' stomach. The swordsman opened his mouth and yelped in shock, blood pouring down his chin as Pyramid Head lifted the blade up and Guts off his feet. The monster reared back on one foot and delivered a powerful front kick to Guts' abdomen just below where he had been impaled. Guts soared back into the wall at the opposite end, crashing into it and making a large crack in the wooden wall, falling to his hands and knees and letting the blood pour from his stomach, back, and mouth. Panting and fading fast, Guts wearily got to his feet and stood on weak legs, looking up to find Pyramid Head bring a metal pipe back over his shoulder. The monster hurled it at Guts, the sharpened, narrow end functioning as a spearhead that drove through Guts' chest, skewering him and pinning him to the wall. Guts' breathing grew weak and shaky, blood now uncontrollably flowing from his mouth. Pyramid Head regained his great knife and once again shambled after Guts, now seemingly having lost consciousness. The monster now towered over the helpless swordsman, grabbing his blade in both hands and readying to finish off Guts. The swordsman smirked as a piece of armor behind his head slammed over his head, engulfing it in a pointed, wolf-like helm. "That's right, come a little closer, sunshine."
Pyramid Head paid no mind to his, raising his massive knife up high to split the swordsman in two like a log. Before he could swing down on Guts, he aimed his left palm at Pyramid Head's face, the palm flipping downward to reveal a hidden barrel. An explosion of sound and smoke erupted from the barrel, a cannonball soaring out and striking Pyramid Head right in the middle of the ridge running up his face and out the flat back. Blood ran down over Pyramid Head's shoulders, back, and chest, the monster losing the grip on his sword and letting it fall and impale the ground behind him. The monster fell to his knees, basting in his own blood as a berserk Guts ripped the javelin from his chest, bringing it up in his free hand and ramming it down into Pyramid Head's hunched over back, ramming it down through his spine and out his backdoor. Now pinned helplessly to the ground, Pyramid Head only watched as Guts grabbed his sword off the ground, bringing it up and throwing the blade down onto Pyramid Head's collarbone. With a clean, horizontal swipe, the blade split Pyramid Head down across his chest and to the side opposite where the blade had entered. The corpse's heavy top half teetered balk as its lower half stay on its knees. Guts leaned forward and let out an inhuman roar at the corpse.
K.O.
Guts, his head now free of his hound helm, reaches into his pouch and produces a small, spiked object with a fuse. He strikes the fuse and tosses it over his shoulder, sticking to the corpse's metal head, and wandered on his way through the building. The small object suddenly gave off a large explosion, engulfing and destroying the entire pyramid in its blast.
