"Dean." Castiel uttered and tapped Dean's closest body part which happened to be his posterior. The Winchester knocked his head on the car roof, surprised by the sudden grope and maneuvered out of the car.
"What the heck Cas!" He rubbed his head glaring at the bewildered angel. Castiel pointed outward toward the street. Dean turned and froze. He didn't know if the street lamp was playing tricks in his sleepless mind, but if Castiel was seeing it then it must be true.
Dean's lips parted and quivered as he uttered the name of the silhouette that was standing in the distance. "S-Sam?"
"Dean?" Sam called out wanting to hear his brother's voice again. He let go of the Alien and rushed toward the slightly illuminated figure.
"Sam!" Dean bellowed out finding himself rushing toward the person running toward him. As he neared the figure the person's features became more familiar and real.
The brothers embraced each other tightly in the dark parking lot. They closed their eyes trying to savor the moment of being rejoined. Dean thanked an empty god for his brother's return. Sam was still processing the fact that in a chance of a billion to one, he found his brother at the edge of Nevada.
"It's good to see you, man." Dean broke the hug and stared at his brother in the bad lighting.
"You too." Sam cracked into a grin. In the shimmer of his eyes Dean could have sworn Sam was about to cry.
"It's good to see you again, Sam." Castiel approached them behind Dean. He extended a hand but received a genuine hug instead. He frowned and left Sam to a one sided hug.
"It's good to see you too, Cas." Sam answered. He didn't care that the angel didn't return the favor. In Fact he missed the angel's awkwardness.
"So where were you? We've been searching everywhere for you." Dean asked.
Sam let go of Castiel. "In the sky, Wyoming."
"Yah. I heard." Castiel answered.
"You...you heard my prayer?" Sam frowned.
"Yes. But I was barred from going to you. Some unknown force was blocking me."
"Huh." Sam sighed. Then from the corner of his eyes, he spotted Niro walking toward them.
"Oh guys. This is Niro. He...she...it saved me from the angels that kidnapped me. Niro's actually been helping me get back to you."
Dean raised an eyebrow at the alien. It looked a lot sharper than Syth and although shorter than them, it had a condescending look that made them feel inferior. "Thanks, for looking after my brother." He extended his hand in gratitude.
Niro looked at the hand and shook it. "He's a hand full. Don't let him out of your sight. He doesn't know how to drive a plane."
Sam made a shy crooked smile.
