Hello readers. I'm happy to say this chapter is over 2500 words. :) I think it's good. As you'll see I added another Cannon character. I know a few people PM'd me about the bionic army. Just to clarify. They are not Cannon. They are not the same as Krane's army from the show and their story is different. I am adding a cannon soldier but don't know if he will continue after the battle. Not everything is planned out yet. What I do say is this chapter deals with and introduces key points in the plot. I'll stop talking and let you read for yourselves. :)

Niko was panting by the time the simulation was over. He'd always thought he was a good fighter in the past but he realized he had a lot to learn. He'd been upset when they wouldn't let him use a gun. It was what he was good at, but they thought he needed to be well rounded, trained in hand to hand as much as with weapons. It wasn't like he was useless in hand to hand combat. He rarely ever lost a fist fight but this wasn't a fist fight. They taught him a fighting style that they said was similar to his fist fighting with some karate and judo with some acrobatics thrown in. He'd picked it surprisingly quickly. He'd held his own at level 3 on the machine after only seven hours of training. He was worried though he wouldn't be ready. This fight was approaching fast and he wasn't strong enough to take on a bionic teen, let alone an army.

"You're improving" Chase said, walking up behind the boy. Niko sighed. "I'd like to talk" Chase said, sounding like a request not an order.

"Ok" Niko nodded, a little wary. He'd spent little time with Chase and knew he was still slightly upset about his time with Marcus. Chase led the boy up the stairs and past the bedrooms. Chase had decided to use the small sitting room that he had not too long ago. They entered silently.

"Sit" Chase said, taking a seat himself. Niko sat down across from him. He instinctually took in his surrounding in case there was a fight. With a shock he realized his gun was no linger strapped to his belt. He'd left it in the lab.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" Niko asked. Chase blinked and ran a hand through his hair.

"Adam mostly" He said.

"Mostly?"

"Yea mostly" Chase replied. "You and him are close."

"Yes" Niko told him even though it hadn't been a question.

"You care about his safety?"

"Of course" Niko grumbled. He didn't like being questions. He was fine with not being trusted but when someone started questioning his motives it got him angry. Chase nodded, a look in his eye saying that he could tell what Niko was feeling.

"I just had to make sure" Chase said. "I needed to see if you were lying and I couldn't do that with everyone else in the room."

"So is that it?" Niko scoffed.

"No" Chase said sternly. "I needed to know I could trust you." Niko looked at him questioningly. "Mr. Davenport won't want you fighting" Chase continued. "I have to agree I don't think you will be ready by the time fighting breaks out. It feels like we are approaching the end."

"I'm not going to stay out of this fight!" Niko growled. "I'm not a cowered! I will fight and win!"

"I'm not asking you not to fight" Chase said. "What I'm suggesting is something me and Bree were discussing as you trained." Niko listened with pursed lips. "Bree has come across a new ability" Chase said. Niko could hear the tiny pride in his voice. "She can now make others around her move as fast as her, cast her ability out to surround multiple people."

"And how does that help me?" Niko asked. Chase smiled.

"Bree can view the world in slow motion" Chase explained. "It's necessary because if she were to be running at her speed she wouldn't be able to see anything. It's as if time has slowed." Niko still looked confused. "If she was so to use that ability on you or the room we are in it wouldn't feel like we were running fast. It would feel like we had more time and we would. If we were to train at that speed you could accomplish training at twice the speed if not faster. Do you understand?"

"I think so?" Niko said slowly. "I'd get more time to train because time for us would be moving slower than it really is." Chase nodded.

"You're quick." Chase chuckled. "It took Adam far longer to understand." Niko felt something between pride and annoyance.

"He's not as dumb as you think" Niko hissed. He stood up, glaring at the brother of his boyfriend.

"I didn't say he…" Chase coolant finish his sentence because Niko slammed out the door. Chase sighed, leaning back on the soft chair. He closed his eyes and listened to Marcus making his way up the stairs. Chase kept his eyes closed when he heard the door open and close.

"Mind if I join" Marcus asked. Chase nodded. He didn't see Marcus Smirk and was startled when the other boy sat on his lap. Chase's now open eyes saw the evil smirk the android was giving him.

"There's room next to me" Chase chuckled.

"I'm perfectly comfortable" Marcus smirked. He wrapped his arm around Chase and leaned into him. "Perfectly comfortable" he repeated, softer. The minutes ticked by as the boys just cuddled in comfortable silence.

Marcus was the first to break the silence. "Do you think it will work?" Marcus asked.

"What?" Chase mumbled, drowsily.

"The plan with Bree, do you think it'll work?" Marcus clarified.

"I think so" Chase sighed. "I hope so." Marcus nodded.

"It'll work" He said confidently.

"How do you know?" Chase asked.

"Because you came up with it" Marcus said, firmly but kindly. Chase gave a small smile before closing his eyes again.

"I'm worried" Chase admitted. "We aren't ready. We haven't found a way to break the Triton app.

"We only came up with the idea this morning" Marcus countered.

"But I've been thinking about it all day and I don't know if we can hack it." Chase said, angry at himself.

"If we had one of the soldiers we could examine their chip for information."

"But we don't" Chase grumbled and if we try to kidnap one of them the battle will begin.

"We'll find a way" Marcus promised, kissing Chase's cheek.

Jack sat in a lab, far more advanced than his creator's. There was so much tech here. It wouldn't be too hard to complete faze one of his plan. As was expected of him Jack sat at the large computer typing in simulations. Krane wanted to control his sibling-cousins and that's what he would get. Jack smirked. But it would not be what he wanted.

His fingers flew across the keys. He had super intelligence but he was not as smart as Chase and Marcus. It would take weeks to complete this. By the end of the day he had succeeded in creating a proper theory of how he could take control of the triton app with his chip. It would be a long and hard process though with difficult codding and fragile, unstable tech. Plus that's only if his theory is correct. He was certain it was but there was still that possibility.

The digital clock on the plain white wall read 10:43. It was late and his energy was drained. He would get some rest and start back up with it tomorrow. Those were his intentions when he left the lab but halfway through the compound he heard an argument. Everyone had already gone to sleep at 10:30 so something sneaky was going on. He stalked silently to an alcove just across the hall from the two boys arguing.

He recognized one S-3 he believed he was called. Average height, brown hair, somewhat built and definitely attractive. He was arguing with someone smaller. He didn't know the girl he was arguing with but he could tell she wasn't what she appeared to be. The girl had silky black hair that fell just past her waist. She was darker skinned and had piercing green eyes that seemed to glow in the light. It wasn't the green he'd seen Marcus and the soldiers give off when they were angry or upset. It was her natural eye color and it was giving him the creeps.

The girl, even though he knew her to be bionic looked like she wouldn't be much of a threat but the way she held herself spoke something else. Not only was she giving off an aura of strength but S-3 had a look in his eyes that barley hid the fear inside him. This girl was something strong and he didn't want to be discovered.

"This is insane" S-3 growled. It's treason.

"No it's rebellion. Come S-3 you know we can take him. Even with his power the ten of us can take him. If you become our eleventh there is no chance we will lose.

"He will kill us" he said he said more quietly, glancing over his shoulder. They were talking too loud. They couldn't be discovered. "Even if we do overthrow him not all of us will make it out alive." The girl glare upward.

"We are strong and our brothers and sisters will follow us. Together we can take this word. Krane wants to eradicate the humans, kill almost all of them but that is a waist. Why kill them when we can force them to their knees, make them our slaves our subjects. Together we can make these pathetic humans worship us. We will be Gods."

"This is dangerous" S-3 muttered, glancing around again. "I'm not sure B-1"

"Think about it" she growled. "But don't take long. Soon we shall make our stand. Soon Krane will fall." The girl vanished in a puff of black smoke. Jack waited to move. He still couldn't be found out. He watched as S-3 leaned against the wall and sighed. He ran his hand through his brown hair that already looked bedridden. Jack assumed he'd been doing that a lot during the conversation.

"Stupid girl" he growled so quietly even with his super hearing Jack had a difficult time making out. Finally S-3 vanished just like his soldier companion.

Jack shook his head in shock. There was a rebellion! Or was this a trick, a trap. Did Krane set this up knowing Jack would hear? His loyalty may be being tasted. Should he inform Krane, say nothing, or approach the girl for help. No he couldn't ask for her help. They may both want Krane to fall but she had a very different reason, a reason Jack did not agree with. He would have to decide by morning. His actions may determine his and his plan's fate.

Marcus led Chase to their bedroom. The moon a long ago risen high into the sky and the stars were shining down. "Reminds me of that night when we were on the run" Marcus whispered, eyes looking far away.

"Yea" Chase agreed. That had been a good night. They had spent time together, alone, sharing a moment of love and affection. "We're not on the run anymore though" Marcus sighed, tilting his head and staring up, out the window.

"We still won't have much time together to be alone" Chase said. "Once things hit red we'll be scrambling, preparing for war."

"War" Marcus nodded, a frown replacing the smile.

"I never thought I'd ever fight in a war" Chase whispered. There was fear in his voice. "I never thought we'd really have to fight, at least not to this extent. We were meant to save people not fight a war." Marcus nodded, understanding completely. This was out of both their comfort zones.

"We'll fight together" Marcus said, grabbing the other boy's hand. "As a family."

"As a family" Chase agreed.

"And we shall not fail" Marcus added. "We're strong and we fight for what's right. This war will end in our victory and there will be as few deaths as possible." Chase paled at the thought of having to take someone's life, let alone a kid, a kid not in control of his actions. "I understand" Marcus said, gripping their hands tighter.

"I love you" Chase whispered. Marcus turned to face his lover.

"And I love you" Marcus replied. He brought their lips together in a soft kiss that held so much more meaning than any before it. Marcus let his hands rest on Chase's hips. When their lips separated they shared a long loving look.

They both knew it was time. They loved and trusted each other. They knew without a shadow of a doubt this was forever. Together the two boys walked hand in hand to the bed. Chase lifted Marcus and placed him in the center of the bed. He followed, covering Marcus so they were chest to chest.

Marcus reached up and Chase let his shirt be pulled off him. Hands roomed his chest. Marcus wanted to memorize this. He wanted to know every part of Chase, his Chase. Lips met once more and Chase began to undo Marcus's belt. When it was finally unclipped he used his molecular kinesis to pull off the pants. Marcus gasped, startled. Chase took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, though he laughed when his pants came off in the same way as Marcus. They both now were only wearing boxer-briefs, exposing Chase's muscles and Marcus's flawless skin.

Chase pulled away. He looked down at Marcus. He was beautiful. He was perfect. To show Marcus how he felt he bit down on his neck, sucking lightly. Marcus gasped. As Chase did that Marcus ran his hands down Chase's back. Marcus chuckled at the reaction he got from squeezing Chase's but.

"I want you" Marcus moaned. They stared into each other's eyes, now filled with lust.

I'd like to thank everyone for reading. I hope you enjoyed the Chapter. I know I enjoyed writing it. I know I posted a little late but I'm working on a paper for class and didn't have much time to finish it. Another reason is that there was only one review. I was very disappointed in that. It was the same for the chapter before that too. Please review because wont post the next chapter until I get three reviews. That's a lie but I would appreciate it if you do. Thank you for reading again and if you want you can read more lab rats oneshots on my profile page. If you have any suggestions PM me and if you want me to write a one shot for a specific pairing please message me.
