Number 51! Holy crap. I'm so glad that you guys are enjoying it so far. Also, I would like to mention that I am really sorry for uploading late, I'm back in college now and had work late last night so I didn't have a chnace to upload or even finish this chapter. I'm not looking forward to Terminus, even though it is coming up. We all know who they are! Anyways, we should get started. Disclaimer, I don't own The Walking Dead, just my ocs and plotlines.

Naomi's Pov

Me, Daryl and Beth run through the woods, the snarls and growls folowing us makes us move faster even though all we want to do is lay down because we have been on the move for two days. Trying to avoid the walkers but they seem to be everywhere.

Two walkers appears in front of Beth and I, so I grab my knife and stab one in the head. I hear a gun click. Shit, Beth has ran out of bullets. I see Daryl hit the walker away with his crossbow before we take off once again. The many walker snarls following us. I don't know how long we've been running for until we break from the tree line into a field and we collapse onto the ground, panting. We can have a break. We manage to lose the walkers that ha been following us.

Hours later...

We sit on the ground, staring ahead at nothing. I still can't believe it. Hershel's gone. The prison is gone. Everyone is gone. Beth hasn't cried yet about her dad. Well, she did at the prison but I think she is bottling the rest up.

"We should do something." Beth says and I glance up at her. Like what? "We should do something." She repeats, looking at both me and Daryl. "We aren't the only survivors We can't be. Rick, Michonne, Emma, Jamie, they could be out here. Maggie and Glenn could have made it out of A block. Ashley, Hayley and Adam could be out here. They could've. You're a tracker." Beth reminds Daryl, standing up determined. "You can track. Come on. The sun will be up soon. If we head out now, we can-" She pauses after me and Daryl give her a look. There is no way we'll find everyone after the prison. They could be anywhere. Or not at all. They could all be dead. She huffs. "Fine. If you won't track, I will."

She storms off into the woods into the dark. I look at Daryl.

"We can't let her go out on her own." I tell him, standing up. I hear him shuffling and I see him now following after Beth. I follow after him, making sure he is in my line of sight.

Next day...

We have been tracking all night. When I mean 'we' I really mean Daryl tracking for Beth's sake even though it is a waste of time. What happens if we find them dead? Beth's hope is way too high and she'll be devastated if that ever happened.

That was when we come across some footprints.

"Could be Luke's. Jamie's or Molly's. Whoever they are, it means they're alive." Beth says, looking at both of us for our opinions.

"No. This means they were alive four or five hours ago." Daryl argues. I guess he is trying to dampen her spirits incase we do find them dead.

"They're alive." Beth tells him.

I see Daryl go a bit further. "They picked up the pace right here. Got out in a hurry. Things went bad." Daryl explains.

"Wouldn't kill you to hbe a little faith." She aays and then looks at me. "Either of you." She adds and I roll my eyes.

Daryl scoffs "Yeah, faith. Faith ain't done shit for us. Sure as hell didn't do nothing for your father."

I wince at his words. Wrong thing to say. A very wrong thing to say.

Beth flinches and turns to a berry bush. "They'll be hungry when we find them."

Daryl sighs and hands her a bandana. She doesn't turn around but still carries on picking the berries. Daryl taps her and she reluctantly turns around, her hands her the bandana.

"We'll just see how far they've gone." I announce and Beth nods. Daryl just grunts in confirmation.

After collecting the berries we carry on walking, we didn't get very far until we come across another trail. Once again, Daryl did, not me and Beth.

"What?" Beth asks Daryl after a dark look came across his face. It was a mixture between anger and sadness.

"That ain't walker blood. The trail keeps going." Daryl tells us, pointing at the blood. Oh god. I hope it wasn't Jamie who came through here.

"They fought them off." Beth says, with too much hope in her voice.

Daryl shook his head at her. "No. Got walker tracks all up and down here. At least a dozen of them."

"Great. I just hopw they got away in time." I announce and Beth nods eagerly. Daryl gives me a look saying 'stop giving her hope'. Which is kind of hard for me since I have a crush on her and just don't want her to give up. Not like me and Daryl have.

A twig snaps and we all get in a defence position. Daryl with his crossbow. Me and Beth with our knives. We all glance around, trying to find the source of the sound, which is difficult since we are covered in a forest. A walker's snarl becomes louder followed by a gasp and me and Daryl spin around to see Beth struggling with a walker. Daryl tries to take aim but Beth and the walker are moving around too much which is making it difficult for Daryl to take a shot. I rush forward and kick the walker in the back of the leg, causes it to stumble and let go of Beth. It growls at me and grabs me and I hold it at bay, struggling a bit until Daryl manages to shoot an arrow at it, piercing through it's skull. I feel the blood splatter on my face.

I glance at Daryl. "Thanks." I tell him and he nods.

"Come on." Daryl says before walking off. Beth grabs my hand and we follow after him.

Soon enough, we come across some train tracks. But I notice some dead bodies on the floor. What is left of them anyway. We go closer and I notice the children's shoes on the floor, with some blood splatters on them. I sigh and close my eyes. Oh god, please Jamie please not be one of those kids. I look away and see Daryl staring at the ground. I think he hopes the same thing.

Beth sobs, breaking through the silence and I put my hand on her shoulder in support. She got her hopes up and I think she realises it.

Jamie's Pov

I sit on a rock as I watch the perimeter while Maggie is sharpening her knife and Sasha is fixing Bob's shoulder, when he got shot at the prison.

I walk over to Maggie.

"We'll find 'em." I assure her and she smiles at me.

"How are you feeling?" Maggie questions me.

I nod. "I'm good. A lot better than before."

"That's good. You'll need all of your strength when we look for Glenn, Emma and Daryl." Maggie says and I nod.

"Yeah. And Ashley and Beth." I add and I see Maggie hesitate to nod before she agrees. Doesn't she believe that Ashley and Beth are alive out there?

She walks to Bob and Sasha and I follow her.

"How's he doing?" Maggie questions Sasha, nodding her head to Bob.

"Bleesing stopped. He'll be alright. Got the water to our backs. Decent vantage points from the bank. I'm thinking we camp here for the night." Sasha explains and I frown. We're staying here? We need to look for the others.

"That's good. You three should be safe here." Maggie says and I whip my head to face her.

"You're kidding me, right? I'm going with you to find my mom and dad." I say to her, pretty determined so she knows that there is no room for a discussion.

Maggie nods and looks back at Sasha who looks like she does not like the idea at all. "The bus got out. Glenn got out. I'm gonna find him. Emma should be on the bus so she got out too."

"Maggie." Sasha mutters, sighing a little. "With any luck, the bus is gone. It was heading east down the main road."

"If we follow in that direction, we might be able to pick up its tracks."

"With just Jamie? He's only just gotten better. And you both have knives and one hand gun between you both." Sasha argues, pointing at my gun with just six bullets in.

"I'm out of ammo, so, yeah. Just Jamie's gun on us. I couldn't find Beth or Ashley. I know Glenn and possibly Emma got out and I know which way they went. We're gonna get them and we're gonna come for you. All four of us are." Maggie says.

"Maggie." Sasha hisses.

"We're going." Maggie barks out.

"We cannot split up. Not now."

"We're going, Sash." I say to her and she glances at me.

Me and Maggie walk off and I hear two sets of footprints behind us. Well, they're both coming.

We have been walking on the main road for a while. I can't wait to see mom, dad and the unborn baby again. Dad is probably on his way to find the bus right now anyway, so hopefully we'll run into him because he doesn't give up on family.

"You could have helped me stop them." I hear Sasha say but I stay facing forward. I don't want them to know that I can hear them. I think Maggie is doing the same thing. "If you're trying to make me feel sorry for you, it's not working."

"Damn, it means I let myself get shot up for nothing." Bob sarcastically replies.

"The odds of us finding them... We should be out looking for food, shelter." I hear Sasha reply.

"Yeah, why is that?" Bob questions her.

"So we can live." Sasha responds in a 'duh' tone.

"Then what?" Bob asks her.

"What?" I hear her snap in frustration.

"Maybe we disn't survive just to keep surviving." Bob says and I frown. What does that mean?

"Shit happens. Not everything has to mean something." Sasha points out to him.

"No, it doesn't have to, but it can." Bob assures her.

"If you make it that way, and that's what it seems like we're doing. And I'm done with that." Sasha says and I stop walking at what is ahead.

A bus. Not just any bus. The bus. From the prison. Shit. No. Mom. I sprint towards it, Maggie right at my heels with Sasha and Bob hurrying after us, calling our names. We look through the dusty windows when snarling and many walkers come into view. They died on the bus.

We walk to the door, Maggie is about to open it when Bob and Sasha stop us.

Maggie turns to them. "You should go."

"Maggie, Jamie, stop." Sasha orders us when we're about to open the door again.

"I have to know if he's in there." Maggie argues.

"I need to know if my mom is in there." I push and Sasha looks away in thought.

What seems like forever when it was only a few seconds, she sighs and nods. "Fine, but we do it together. Smart. We'll let them out one at a time. Two of us should be at the door... in case they stack up against it." She explains and I nod.

"Me and Maggie will be killing them. You two guard the door. We need to see their faces." I tell Sasha and she nods.

"What he said." Maggie says, looking at me.

Sasha sighs and nods, giving in at our pleads. Her and Bob get ready at the door while me and Maggie have our knives out, ready to take out each walker and hopefully not our family. We need to know if they are in there. Sasha quickly opens, leaving only one walker out while Bob and Sasha close it to prevent the rest from coming through. I quickly kick it in the knee and stab it in the head. Not mom. Not dad. Not Glenn.

Sasha does it again but this time it goes wrong.

"I can't hold it." Sasha grunts before the door swings open and all the walkers tumble out.

I stab a few more and I hear Bob shooting his gun. That's when I see Maggie stand there before going after the last one. Smashing her head in on the side of the bus.

"I'm sorry." Maggie says.

"But they got away." Sasha mutters in confusion as I look at each of the faces.

"They were good people. All of them." Bob says and I nod in agreement. Double checking the faces once again.

That's when Maggie hops on the bus.

"You should let me." Sasha tries to stop her but Maggie goes deeper inside. After looking for a pregnant woman and my dad but never finding them, a smile grows on my face.

"They're not here." I murmur lowly in happiness and both Sasha and Bob look at me.

"What?" Bob questions, not hearing what I said as I said it pretty low.

"Mom or dad ain't here. That means they're still alive." I tell them and Bob smiles but doubt comes onto Sasha's face but I ignore her.

I can't have her negative thoughts saying that they are not alive. They are. They should have been on the bus, well... mom mostly but there was not a pregnant women on the bus which means she's still out there. Even though it is somewhere that I don't know but she's still alive. And dad won't ever give up on us. He'll search for us until he falls.

Soon enough, Maggie steps off the bus smiling.

"He's not here. Emma isn't here or Daryl. They're still out there." Maggie announces and I grin.

"Let's go find 'em." I say and Maggie nods in agreement. Bob just smiles and Sasha nods, sighing.

It's a very good day, especially after the day we had.

New POV

Me, Abraham, Rosita and Eugene are driving along the road until we see a collapsed person on the floor, in protective gear and a woman beating the shit out of a dead prick. Abraham stops the truck.

"Hope you enjoyed the show, assholes." The woman shouts, throwing down her gun.

We all get out of the truck and look at her.

"You got a damn mouth on you, you know that? What else you got?" Abraham asks her and she just points at a man on the floor.

"What happenes to him?" I question and she shrugs.

"I don't know. He just collapsed." She says and I tense. Please, don't be bit. "He's not bit." She adds and I relax. Never mind.

"Let's get him in the truck." I announce and Abraham nods at me. Rosita rolls her eyes at me and Eugene hums in agreement.

"That seems the most acceptable option." Eugene says.

Fine, he's the boss. He's the key to save world so if he agrees, we need to do it. He knows the cure so it wouldn't be fair if we disn't save these people now, would it?

And.. that's it. Sorry it's short but it was all I could do to cut it off. Plus I'm really running low on sleep so this is the best that I could do. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the chapter! Please leave a review, I would love to know what you think.
