'Yes Master', his two favourite words in the English language when they were spoken by Stephanie. He couldn't help himself from leaning forward and pressing a kiss to her lips, "Baby girl you are amazing."
Baby girl? That was the cutest and most adorable nickname that Hunter had ever given her and it made her blush and grin like an idiot. "Master I am not that amazing or special, I am just your slave and I want you to be happy."
"No no no, we can't do this because you want me to be happy, this can only be done if and when you are actually ready. Please don't say that you want to do this because you feel it is something that I want from you right now." The last thing he wanted from her was for her to agree to something that she didn't actually want as it was really going to test her.
"Did you not hear the part where I was talking to Rebecca telling her how excited I was for it? Depending on what it involves will depend on how excited I actually am." There was a chance she would get in trouble for back talking like that but she didn't want him to think she was agreeing for any reason that wasn't her personal desire.
If she said she wanted it and was excited then he was going to have to listen to her and go with it. "There are two options, we start with me building you to the edge and then you wear the balls and see how long you last or you can just wear the balls for twenty four hours and see how many times you cum."
"So I choose between the two? Does the first one include orgasm and then the balls are removed?" Her mind was filled with all sorts of different images of what was going to happen because she knew so little.
"Yes you pick between the two different options and yes, if you pick option one the balls are removed after the first orgasm as it just tests your limits."
"Option one please, just for today. I assume option two will happen also and I'm okay with that, I just didn't get enough sleep to handle that today."
Now he felt bad about even suggesting it, the last thing he wanted to do was force something on her when she was utterly exhausted, "Maybe we'll hold it all off until next week."
Would telling him that if he did that she'd be really mad be a bad idea? Right now she was thinking yes so decided to just play it nicely, "I don't need you to hold it off Master, I already said that I am excited and I already said that I wanted to do it. You don't need to say we won't do it just because I am tired, I can handle the first option."
"But can you? You were just too sensitive to be touched."
"That was then, this is now. The stimulation has stopped and the sensitivity has hopefully lessened and even if it hasn't I'm sure you could find another way to bring me to the edge because you do seem to have that power over my body."
Hearing her say that he had a power over her always made him happy but they had wasted a lot of time and he really wasn't sure that they should risk it and get caught. "I will give you a few hours and if you have free time and can come back then we will do it."
He was turning her down? Removing herself from his grasp she stood up and dressed herself. "I should go. I will see if I can come back later but I can't promise anything." She didn't give him a chance to respond before she yanked the cover from his window tossing it to the side and then left the cell shutting and locking the door behind her again.
For the rest of the day she completely ignored Hunter's cell, she actually stayed as far away from it as she possibly could because she didn't want to be even slightly tempted to go near him.
After a long day at work she was so relieved to get home and see only Cody's car, as much as she was grateful for Rebecca and Shawn caring for her she didn't want to have to talk about today to Rebecca when she was this tired, she just wanted to eat, maybe have a bath and put her feet up.
When she walked in to the house she could smell dinner cooking and she was so relieved that she didn't have to worry about what she wanted to eat. Hanging her coat and bag over the edge of the banister she walked through to the kitchen and immediately picked up one of the two glasses of wine that was on the top and downed the contents in one.
"Bad day?" He didn't need to be Einstein to know that something was up when she downed her glass of wine in one as soon as she entered the room; there was also the fact that she looked slightly frazzled that added to his suspicions.
Pouring herself a new glass of wine she barely even looked at her best friend, "I'm fine, my day was fine, everything's fine."
"Of course it is, I also still believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny. You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to but for what it is worth I thought you would have had a bad day hence the wine already being poured for you."
Although he expected her to have a bad day he probably wasn't expecting her bad day to be caused by Hunter. "Okay my day sucked, I did not get nearly enough sleep for its level of sucktitude and I just want to get drunk or sleep to forget that it happened."
The word 'talk' wasn't mentioned so he wasn't going to push it, he decided to just get on with dinner and let her talk if she wanted to or just get drunk if that is what she so desired.
Slowing down her drinking she didn't have more than two more glasses throughout the wait for dinner and the meal itself, although she wanted to get drunk she had work in the morning so needed to drive early and had to be sober for that.
Sat in front of the television Stephanie stifled a yawn, she was going to have to get an early night soon but before she did she needed to get the Hunter thing off her chest, the longer she sat there doing nothing the more that it began to bother her. "I don't know where I stand with him, one minute he is okay with starting the orgasm training and the next he is telling me to come back later."
"From that am I to interpret that you're mad at him?"
"I don't know." She wasn't even sure if she was mad at him or if she was just feeling unworthy.
He wasn't sure how she didn't know if she was mad at him or not but he would work with it and see if he could actually get anything out of her. "If you're not mad are you disappointed? Neglected? Unloved?" Those were the only three words that he could come up with that could match an emotion.
It wasn't neglected or unloved, it was . . . . pointless. "I feel like my presence is pointless, like it isn't me he is seeing or thinking about but somebody else. He said it was me he was thinking about but it is hard to believe him when his actions sometimes say that he doesn't want me around."
"Are you sure that you aren't just being dramatic? I know that you aren't always the biggest fan of Hunter because you have no confidence in yourself so are you sure it isn't just that?"
She was so positive, she didn't like that he made her feel this way but it was reality. "I am sure that I am not being dramatic. When you are in the middle of pleasuring somebody and they close their eyes and seem to drift off what would you think?"
Now that she said that he understood, "I take it all back, maybe it isn't you. What did he say?"
"That he was thinking of me, he was imagining what he wanted to do to me when he got out. Why would he need to do that when he had me right there? I think that he was thinking of somebody else and the training thing was too scary for him as he didn't really want to do it with me and that is why he said to come back later."
"Did you go back later?" Because of how she was he had a feeling he knew the answer but he wasn't going to assume anything as she had a habit of throwing him for a loop.
Snorting she shook her head, did she look crazy? "Do I look stupid? He can go fuck himself if he thinks that I'm playing second best to anybody."
"Even if it was second best to an image of you in his mind? I have never been in jail myself but I can't help but think that especially now when you are locked in your cell for twenty four hours a day that all you have for entertainment is your imagination. Taking this in to account don't you think you are being harsh on him? What if that was one particular image that he liked and he couldn't get it out of his mind?"
Why did it always feel like her best friend was sticking up for him over siding with her? "You know what; I'm too tired for this shit. If you want to date him then be my guest but I am going to bed."
"Steph wait." Except she wasn't waiting, she was just continuing for the door, "I'm sorry." There was no acknowledgement that she had heard what he had said, she didn't pause, wave or slow down in the slightest. Sighing heavily he collapsed back in to the chair defeated, he didn't mean to upset her, he just wanted to make her see that there could be more to the story than she was giving him credit for. Even if she was exhausted there was no reason or excuse to act like she was but he knew it was her defence mechanism, Hunter had still to completely disable it so it was going to keep coming back up.
After she left the lounge Stephanie went upstairs and just crawled in to bed, she didn't bother cleaning her teeth or anything, she just wanted to sleep.
The next morning when her alarm went off she slammed her fist down on it, she didn't even remember setting her alarm she had been that tired but she did not appreciate the interruption to her much needed sleep. Rolling out of bed she padded in to the bathroom to shower and begin the process of getting ready for the day.
Once dressed she headed downstairs and the first thing she did was make some coffee, it wasn't that she necessarily needed to wake up, she just felt like she needed coffee to deal with the day. Much to her relief she managed to get through a cup of coffee and breakfast without seeing Cody, not wanting to push her luck she left for work before he could make an appearance.
When she got to work and they began to list what needed to be done today she was quick to offer herself up to look over security footage to see if they could determine the ring leader of it all, not only did she not have to be around her colleagues but she didn't have to be around or go anywhere near Hunter either, it was a win/win for her.
He had been on edge all day waiting for her to come back to him and then she didn't, he didn't know if she was too busy working or if she was avoiding him and he couldn't find out either as he was stuck in his cell.
Time ticked by and the day seemed to be getting longer and longer as he was sure that Stephanie was still working but as the lights were turned off he realised that she had disobeyed him, she hadn't come back at all, not even to say goodbye. Laying down he couldn't sleep, there were so many thoughts of Stephanie, his reduced sentence, his day release and the way that she was running from him all of the time that he just couldn't get sleep to come to him.
All night long the best sleep that he got was dozing, a deep sleep completely evaded him but the fact that he was stuck in his cell all day meant that he could sleep through the day also, he was hoping that there would be a period of time where he wouldn't want to sleep though, he hoped that Stephanie would come by with an excuse for yesterday.
The only way that he could tell the time was by when meals were served so when breakfast was served he knew that she would be starting work soon, when lunch was served he knew that her day was almost half over which meant that the chances of seeing her were getting slimmer and he wasn't happy. By the he had dinner he was angry but by the time lights went out he was pissed off, he didn't know why she was avoiding him but was about ready to punish her for it, she hadn't even come by just to say hi so that he knew that she wasn't avoiding him so obviously she was.
Lying on the bed staring at the ceiling he couldn't help but think of Stephanie and nothing but Stephanie. It was as he was lying on the bed that he came to the realisation that she was it for him, he may have already realised that she was a special enough sub for him to want to collar but knowing this went deeper than that and he wanted her to be his forever frightened him to the point where he knew that sleep was not going to come to him tonight.
After a long day sat staring at a monitor looking over hours and hours of footage they had finally found the right footage that showed who the ring leader was and they had found enough footage to convict him for certain and to nail a couple of his associates along with him.
Rubbing her eyes as she finally walked out of the room she couldn't help but stifle a yawn, staring closely at a monitor for hours at a time was exhausting.
"McMahon."
Slowly turning on the spot where she was standing she didn't want to be dealing with this right now. "Yes Sir? Excuse me if I yawn but I have spent all day staring at a monitor so my eyes are seriously strained and I am exhausted."
"Did you get anywhere?" That may not be why he was here and why he wanted to talk to her but he always wanted updates on the status of the investigation.
"The footage is just being put together for you. We have singled out the ring leader to it all and there are a couple of other inmates that seem to be heavily involved so you can review the footage tomorrow and decide what action to take. Is that all you wanted me for?" The sooner that she could go home the better.
"Actually it wasn't what I wanted to see you about at all, sorry. I spoke with inmate Helmsley yesterday and mentioned to him that I would like to reward him for the actions that he took in saving your life and that is where you come in."
Her stomach dropped and her heart started beating out of her chest, what had he said? Her boss seemed incredibly calm but if she was mentioned in regards to his reward then she was petrified as off the top of her head no rewards would possibly require her permission or anything similar. "How exactly do I come in to that conversation? You're the boss so surely you can determine what the correct reward is without my input?"
The Governor couldn't help but shake his head at her. "You really think that I am coming for your input on his reward? I am actually coming to you for your consent for me to put forward his request."
She was now more nervous than she had been before, why did he need her request to put forward his request? "Uh, okay. What exactly is his request?"
"He wants day release to his house so that, in his words, he can have a shower and some decent food. I told him that with his record the chances of that happening were slim so he said that he would be willing for you to accompany him on this day release so then if he had an officer with him the board might be more willing to grant it. Would you be comfortable about accompanying him and actually willing to do it?"
Was he serious? Hunter had actually requested day release and for her to accompany him? Her mind was blown and as a result she didn't have the words to answer him.
"You can think about it overnight if you wish. I know that it is a lot to ask because you will be alone with him and will have no backup so I understand that you may need to think long and hard before you agree to it."
Thinking about it overnight would be good, she could talk it over with Cody and get his opinion despite the fact that he annoyed her greatly sometimes he did give good advice, most of the time. "I would really like that please. After staring at a monitor all day I would appreciate the chance to clear my head and think it over after doing that. I will let you know my answer first thing in the morning though, you have my word."
"Not a problem McMahon. Have a good evening and I look forward to your answer tomorrow."
"Thank you. Goodnight Sir." Walking past the Governor she went straight for her locker to grab her bag and get out of there, she had already stayed past the end of her shift and now she had Hunter's day release to think about she wanted to put as much physical space between the two of them as she could manage.
