Did you guys miss me?
Well, to compensate for my absence, I've posted up a new chapter for you. And I'm sure that what happens here wouldn't be what you'd expect, hm? That being said, hope you enjoy and I'll be sure to put up another chapter later. Until then!

Ienzo's Diary – Entry 9
I've noticed that Ansem is busy with Luna again. He was interviewing her, but then things went a different direction when other people came in and saw her. One was someone called Myde, who lives in the castle but is not involved on heavy duties like Aeleus or Dilan would be. The other was Lumaria, the garden caretaker. I didn't catch what was going on exactly, but I'm certain that there was high tension stirring between him and Ansem; what for, I don't know and I don't care about.
It has been five days since that incident, and I was afraid that I'd never be able to observe Luna again. But what luck that I was wrong!
I was able to find a chance to enter the infirmary one night when Ansem had just finished his last checkup on Luna before retiring for the night. It was mostly dark, and not many people were around to watch over the hallway where the infirmary and the study would be; that was the best opportunity for me or else someone would suspect that there was a malicious intruder lurking about in their midst.
The infirmary was very quiet, save for the soft beeping of the monitors scattered around the room, and was lit just enough to keep the place from being too dark and frightening for the patient; that's something I certainly don't mind at this point. Just so lucky for me, Luna was in a strong sleep, not stirring one bit even as I walked over to her. It's rather intriguing to see just how innocently she sleeps through the night as well as look so vulnerable. In that state, she could very well be leaving herself wide open to anyone wanting to do more than touch her – perhaps kidnapping her. I could very well be a danger myself, especially because I kept having many thoughts running through my mind…One part of me wants to leave her be and just observe her from afar, while another side wants to just take her away from everyone and keep her where I could easily find her. But why do so? She's only a child. That doesn't feel right…
No, no, I mustn't think about it. Focus!
As soon as I was near her, I couldn't help but touch the curled ringlets that were spread around her head, wondering if anyone ever noticed that her style and appearance truly does give off the impression of a doll. As I was doing this, Luna shifted her head a bit; I was almost afraid that I'd forced her to wake up…But to my relief, she didn't rouse from her slumber and continued to rest without being disturbed.
As she slept, Luna sometimes would spill out a few words at a time like she did the last time I came in to see her. While it was rather amusing to hear her talk in her sleep, I had this seething paranoia that she might let out names that I would despise ever since hearing them from weeks ago.
Sure enough, a nerve got hit when she let the name 'Riku' slip out of her mouth again.
I nearly lost all self-control for a moment the instant I heard that name, but I managed to stop myself from acting aggressively by grasping the railing near the bed and held onto it tightly until I finally calmed down.
What happened afterwards was what I had trouble comprehending: as soon as I was calm, I contemplated the idea of examining Luna with utmost discretion, if simply to sate my curiosity. As I searched her, I spotted something around one of her wrists that caught my attention. It seemed to be a black bracelet of sorts with a red gem secured to the trinket. I was about to reach out and take it so I could look at it, but then I heard something moving softly yet swiftly at the same time. I was forced to look up toward the back of the bed, and to my greatest shock, I saw that something was completely off about the shadow – or rather, a shadow that doesn't look like Luna. All I could see was a black shadowy figure hovering at the wall, staring murderously at me with violet eyes like a night creature. Then, that same shadow's hands somehow emerged from the darkness and lunged out as though to drive away a potential threat.
I was able to avoid being captured, but not without one of its claws scratching my arm in the process. My injuries were at the minimum, but still I knew it would be best not to stick around and let myself get attacked again.
Sadly, I had no choice but to leave the infirmary before any alarm is raised with my presence, especially on Luna's account.
…But what was that thing that behaved so protectively with Luna? Honestly, I don't remember ever seeing it any day I've seen her. Perhaps whatever is in there with her has a reason for being there, or it might be something else entirely…I don't know.
Whatever it is, I've made an enemy out of it. I will not let that shadow drive me out and get away with it. That thing is no better than Ansem, trying to block Luna from me.
