Dragging across the dark forest floor, under roots and rustling dried leaves was the shadow sand hand of Mother Gothel. It was making its way towards the now abandoned tavern: The Snuggly Duckling. It took 'her' a bit but she soon came across the disheveled building. The sign was hanging by one chain link, all the windows were smashed. The wooden door was slightly ajar, pushing the door open a bit more the hand slowly slunk in. It collected dust from below and a few pieces of broken bottles and glasses.
Across the way a woman's voice was heard. "Pitch, dear, there is no point in getting worked up. You need to relax, we'll have them in our grasp soon." Eris was lounging on the bar with a glass of wine in her hand. She was gently swirling it around as her red eyes looked upon the pacing Pitch.
Pitch looks at her before shaking his head. "No, you don't understand Eris, I have tried to bring one of those insufferable guardians to my side once before and you know the outcome of that."
Eris just gently rolls her eyes as she puts down the glass and sashay's herself over to him and started to massage his shoulders. "But darling~ They are not guardians yet," She whispered in his ears.
Pitch pushed her hands away as he angrily replies,"and NEITHER WAS HE!"
Eris placed a hand on her hip. "But this time will be different, you have me to help~" She walks around to his front. "Do you know their fears yet?" She asked.
"No." Was his simple answer. "There is something blocking me at the moment,"
"Which is?" She asked with a draw of her voice and a raised brow.
"I DON'T KNOW!" He snarled before slamming a fist on the bar and making the leftover glass dance and clatter before a few fell off and smashed upon the ground.
Eris shakes her head and looks over her shoulder as she heard the sound of sand scraping against the wood floor. "Dear, we have a guest,"
Pitch looks over and saw the hand. "Pathetic." He muttered before bending down and grabbing it and smashing the hand into a pile of dust once more.
"Pitch, don't just throw the sand away, I believe it has something to show you, I can feel it," Eris said as she moved over to where he was and wrapped her arms around his neck and looked over his shoulder.
He looked at the dark sand in his eyes and muttered, "Fine,' He then let the sand go into the air and it swirled around to reveal the scene in which the dark sand Mother Gothel was in. It viewed the scene through her eyes. When the tower fell and everything went dark, Pitch gave a loud snarl and threw the sand out of his hand and it scattered across the floor to be among the dust.
"THEY ESCAPED!"
Eris's eyes glinted when she had seen what the dragon girl could do with the shadows. She knew she would be useful. Putting her little seductive voice on, she leaned over and whispers into his ear as she played with the hair on the back of his neck. "Dear~ That dragon girl, she can manipulate shadows...just...like..you."
Pitch's eyes widen a bit and he bit his lip in thought as his anger quickly diminished. "She did….How is that possible?"
"She holds hidden powers….and so did that other girl, I mean she toppled the tower in...one blow," Eris murmured with a grin.
PItch's golden eyes glinted as he was getting convinced. "Yes, you are right Eris, those two are useful. We need them, but how?" He asked as he turned to her.
"This is how we will do it," She smirked before leaning in and started to whisper a plan into his ear. His eyes somehow lit up and he started to laugh maniacally.
