As soon as Emily let go of Alayna's hand, she felt death approaching her. It crept over her body gradually like a blanket being slowly laid across her. She felt the numbness and tingling, as it started at her toes. It slowly trickled upwards toward her head and she couldn't stop it. And when she took her last breath and felt her last heartbeat, it all came crashing down. And then before she could try and fight it. She felt herself fall downwards, out of her body.

She let out a frantic scream, as she quickly covered her eyes with her hands. She kicked her legs over and over and suddenly it was done. She no longer felt the falling sensation, but she did feel something weird. She felt like she was standing upright and then she heard it. She heard a familiar humming coming from the corner of the room and bravely uncovered her eyes.

Her breathes immediately hitched in her throat and tears formed in her eyes. She took a step forward, as her shoes clicked against the hardwood. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She stood in a dimly lit room, as a very familiar blonde haired woman sat in the corner. She cradled a baby close to her body, as a joyous smile grew on her lips. She gently rocked her chair back and forth, as she hummed several lullabies.

"Mom." She whispered softly, as she covered her quivering lips with her hand. But her mother paid no attention to her and Alayna's eyes widened. She watched her closely, taking in every move her mother made. She wanted to remember this, because it was so beautiful.

"You're destined for great things Alayna Rose, never forget that." She said softly, as she smiled down at the baby. She carefully ran her fingers over the sleeping babies head and cooed at her.

Alayna walked closer and looked down at the baby in her mother's arms. And then she panicked, she knew exactly what was going on. The baby her mom was holding was her and she knew what that meant. She knew that she had died for sure.

"Ah, crap!" She yelled into the air, as she stomped her foot. She ran her hands manically through her hair and frantically looked around. She puffed her cheeks out, as she tried to think of what to do.

"Shit! I'm in a memory thing, I'm freakin' dead! How the hell did Sam and Dean do this? I know I have to keep moving." She said to herself, as she looked back at her mom one last time. She let another smile fall on her lips. She hadn't seen her mom in so long that it was nice to be reminded of what she looked like. How her sweet voice sounded when she cooed at her. She almost forgot what it was like to be around her. To have her for support or have her there in general, and then she realized how much she missed her. But she had to keep moving along and she knew it.

She slowly walked to the door in the room and quickly threw it open.

"Bye, Mom." She whispered and reluctantly walked out of the room.

She shut the door behind her and sighed, as she looked around. She curled her lip in disgust, as she walked further into the room. It was her house back from her universe; more specifically it was her living room. She heard lots of yelling and screaming coming from right beside her and she cringed. She turned her head and sighed. She remembered this scene very well. This was the day she asked him for a divorce.

There she was in a nice dress, as tears streamed down her face. Jordan, her ex-husband, stood there frantically yelling at her. His arms waved back and forth, as his face drew closer and closer to hers.

"I will never divorce you, Alayna! You're worth too much to divorce." He yelled and Alayna held up the divorce papers and forcefully slammed them into the counter.

"Why do you care so much now?! Huh?! You never did before! So sign the damn things and let's get this thing done and over with. I want you out!" She yelled at him, as she poked him in the chest. He heaved with anger and grabbed onto the pearl necklace that lay around her neck. He gripped his fingers tightly around it and pulled it apart. Pearls instantly fell to the floor around her and she narrowed her eyes angrily at him.

"Understand this, Alayna; your parents will never support this! They're the reason I married you in the first place!" He yelled and Alayna shook her head back and forth.

"You're such a bastard! I'm not a business deal! I'm a freakin' human being! Sign the paper or I'm leaving and taking all of my money with me!" She yelled back and then the real Alayna remembered what happened next and she wanted out. She felt the urge to leave the room, because she didn't want to see it.

"God I have got to get out of here!" She mumbled softly, as she walked across the room. She quickly walked toward the back family room and stopped right in front of the glass sliding doors. She rested her hand on the doorknob until she heard it. She heard the slap in the other room accompanied by heavy breaths. A slight cry escaped memory Alayna's lips and she looked shocked. She stared into the angry brown eyes of her husband and another tear fell on her cheeks.

"You, you hit me!" She whispered in disbelief and Jordan huffed with attitude.

"I'm going to Sara's, see you later." He said, as he shook his head back and forth. Memory Alayna's jaw fell open and she looked to the ground. She heard him quickly walk off and open the front door.

"That's right. I'm running off to my girlfriend's house. I'll see you tonight and I expect dinner." He said coldly and stormed out of the house. She could hear the roar of his sports car coming to life and then he quickly left the driveway. He left her astonished and a mess of pearls to clean up.

The real Alayna walked away from the back door and walked back into the room. She crossed her arms over her chest, as she watched her memory self-fall to the floor. She cried loudly, as her head banged up against the cabinet.

Alayna pursed her lips and sighed. "Don't you worry, your life gets way better. In a few months that asshole will be dead and you'll live the best year of your life, well minus the cancer. But then you meet someone you never would have expected. He'll make your life worth living. So chin up, Me, you're going to belong one day. You won't be some trophy wife that he never cared about. You won't have to cry in the shower because you can't give him a child. You won't have to cry period because your life takes a dramatic turn! So screw the cancer, screw Jordan, and screw this life. You rock." She let out a chuckle, as she watched herself grieve on the floor.

It was a real wake up call for her. She saw the depression, the sadness that plagued her memory self. And it was all because of her shit life, but it all changed. The moment Crowley and Dean stepped into her life; she knew her life made a turn for the better. And she wouldn't change it for the world, even if she was dead now. She knew she lived a full life, but she still didn't want to leave them.

"Because in the end that bastard Jordan gets what he deserves, death. And a painful one at that!" She said joyfully and then looked around the room again. The lights in the room began to flicker and she sighed, as one by one the light bulbs blew.

"Guess I have to keep moving." She said, as she walked toward the back door again and finally walked through it. She carefully closed it behind her and as soon as her hand left it, it disappeared. It was replaced by a cream colored concrete wall. She heard the beeps and random noises and she knew. She knew she was in a hospital.

An instant smile appeared on her face, as she watched the next scene unfold in front of her. Tears poured onto her face from happiness. She watched herself huffing and puffing in pain. Hair in a sweaty mess, as nurses generously held onto her hands. They offered her support in her time of need. She forcefully dug her chin into her chest, as she pushed again. Her face turned a deep red, as the nurses slowly counted to ten.

"You have to push harder, Alayna, just a few more!" She watched the doctor say, as he patted her memory's sweaty leg lightly. This was the best day of her life. This was the day her sweet little Emily was born.

Alayna continued to push harder and harder. But she grew weak and shook her head back and forth.

"I just can't do it!" She cried out, as she threw her head back into the pillow. "I'm too tired!" She cried out again and the doctor sighed.

"Alayna, I can see that head! There's lots and lots of hair, but you won't get to see it unless you push. Just a few more! Once we get the head out, you'll be done!" He said in a raised voice and Alayna smiled at her own reaction.

Memory Alayna just rolled her eyes and huffed. "Fine!" She retorted quickly, as she brought her chin back to her chest.

"Now, Alayna, give me three more sets of pushes and we'll have her out!" The doctor said sternly and Alayna glared at him. She gritted her teeth, as the nurse began to count to ten again. Alayna pushed harder than she had before and the doctor grinned from ear to ear. He quickly grabbed a blue bulb aspirator and stuck it into Emily's nose and mouth.

"Alayna, you can stop." He said softly, as he maneuvered Emily's shoulders out and then her feet followed. Alayna's head flew back into the pillow, as she tried to catch her breath. Emily's frantic cries echoed through the room and Alayna grinned, as she turned her head to catch a glimpse. There she was, lying on the baby bed. Emily's little arms stiffly moved around in the air, as she cried louder.

The real Alayna walked over to baby Emily and smiled down at her.

"You're the light of my life." She whispered and then she heard it again. Light bulbs broke sporadically all over the room, as darkness almost enveloped Alayna. She sighed, as she found the nearest door and walked through it.

Alayna's smile continued, as she saw the next scene in front of her. But something caught her off guard and she looked down at her arm. A sudden burning sensation started creeping across her flesh and she gasped from the pain. Tiny red burn marks began to creep up her arm and she sighed. She knew what this meant, but she figured this is where she'd go.

"Oh great not only am I dead, but I'm headed straight for hell." She said sarcastically, as she lifted her head to the beautiful scene in front of her. She tried to focus on it before the inevitable happened.

Alayna watched as herself and Crowley lay on their old bed together. He softly ran his fingers over her very pregnant belly. He bent down to kiss it. He let his lips linger and he chuckled.

"I never thought I'd love this so much." He whispered and Alayna ran her fingers through his hair.

"Have you thought about any names?" Alayna asked quietly and he smiled against her skin. He shook his head back and forth, as he continued to stroke her stomach.

"Well, it's a girl, how about Crowley Jr.?" He asked playfully and Alayna laughed hard. She playfully hit his shoulder and he smirked up at her.

"I should have known you'd want a Crowley Jr., but it's a girl like you said. How about Charlotte? That was my mother's name." She said softly and Crowley shrugged.

"I've known too many Charlotte's in my life and I didn't like any of them. How about Claire? That's a respectable name." He said, as he placed his ear onto her stomach. She shook her head back and forth, as she gave a disgusted face. She stuck her tongue out in disgust and made a noise.

"Bleck! I hate the name Claire. I use to have a friend named Claire and she and I didn't end on good terms." She said, as he stared up at her. "I guess you never realize how many people you hate until you have to name a child." Alayna added with a smile and Crowley shrugged.

"How about Emily? I've always loved that name and it's very respectable as well." He asked softly and Alayna immediately smiled.

"I had a cat named Emily once, named her after the girl from Hocus Pocus. I love that name, it's so beautiful." She said, as she closed her eyes and repeated the name in her head. Crowley smiled and kissed her belly again.

"Then Emily it is." He whispered against her stomach. She softly ran her fingers through his hair again and agreed.

"Yes, Emily it is." She said and the real Alayna was in tears again. She had almost forgotten how they decided on Emily.

"This is a lovely memory." Castiel said, as he awkwardly looked around. Alayna jumped and her eyes widened.

"Christ, Cas, you scared me!" She shouted in surprise, as her whole body jumped. "But I've never been so happy to see you!" She shrieked, as she threw her arms around him. His eyes darted back and forth, as he slowly and awkwardly wrapped his arms around her.

"Yes, I am healing you at the moment. I just came to retrieve you and bring you back." He said stiffly and she slowly left the hug. She looked up into his eyes and smiled at him.

"Thank you, Castiel. You're awesome, now let's go!" She said with demand, as she looked down at her burning skin. Castiel looked down at her and shook his head.

"Yes, let's go before you descend completely." He said and she rolled her eyes.

"Castiel, before we go, can I ask you something?" He shook his head, as he urged her to go on.

"Cas, I'm pregnant, is the baby...is the baby ok?" She asked carefully and he shook his head.

"He is safe and sound in your womb. No harm was done to him and he will live, but that's why time is of the essence. We need to leave now." He said, as he grabbed onto her arm. And before Alayna knew it she could feel the cold floor beneath her.

"It is done." Castiel said, as he searched the wide eyes of everyone in the room.

"What is…?" Sam tried to ask, but Alayna abruptly gasped and shot her body up into the sitting position.

"Holy mother of sin, that was awful!" She yelled, as she brought her hands to her head. She quickly covered her eyes, as her head pounded with a headache. Her chest heaved up and down, as she gasped for air. Sam put a hand on her back, as he sighed.

"Are you ok?" He asked with concern and Alayna shook her head back and forth. She uncovered her eyes and stared at him.

"No I'm not ok! I'm turning into you two!" She said with a grin, as she looked over at Dean. A smile immediately erupted onto his lips and he nodded at her.

"How so?" He asked curiously and she scoffed.

"Because when I die I come back to life." She said playfully and Dean rolled his eyes, as he continued to shake his head.

"Well it's good to have you back. You had us all worried." Sam said, as he rubbed her back lightly. She nodded her head and smiled.

"It's good to be back." She said softly and she looked up at Crowley. His jaw was on the floor, as he stared at her.

She chuckled softly and crawled toward him. "Miss me?" She whispered and he smiled. He threw his arms around her and pulled her in for a hug. He tightly clung onto her, as he pulled her onto his lap. He never wanted to let her go again.

"You have no idea." He whispered softly and kissed the top of her head.
