Thank you for reviewing my story. I really appreciate it.

I don't own Bones.

His phone ringing, Booth placed the report down that he was working on and answered it, "Booth."

Booth, it's Angela. I think I found our smoking gun. Danny Beck sent over a list of employees working for Akio Himura along with their pictures and I used that information to see if any of them would should show up in the parking garage where Sarah Curtis was killed. I found someone there that shouldn't have been. His name is Osamu Kurosawa. He's listed as a personal assistant of Akio Himura. I made sure and Himura and Kurosawa don't live in that area so Kurosawa wouldn't have had any reason to be in that parking garage. I found him on the same floor of the parking garage as the one Sarah Curtis parked on at around the same time as her death.

Pleased with Angela's work, Booth responded, "Nice work, Angela. Real nice work. I'm going to call Bones and see if she's found anything that we can use. Thanks." Ending the call, he called Brennan, "Hey, Bones, you got anything on Sarah Curtis's case? Angela may have found the murderer but right now it's just circumstantial."

I wish I did Booth, but since the body was cremated there really wasn't much of the bones that I could study. I have been going over the evidence that the police sent me and it would appear that the coroner did a very good job of recording all of the evidence. Sarah was strangled and from the prints on her neck and the pictures of the hyoid it would appear it was done with hands and not with a rope or belt. The coroner was able to get a partial print from Sarah's neck, but he wasn't able to match it up with any of the prints he had in any of the databases he had available. The partial print didn't match Charles Ruby, so the coroner was certain that Ruby was in the clear.

"Okay, well, Angela may have someone the police can look at after all." Checking his note, Booth continued, "She found someone named Osamu Kurosawa in the parking garage on the same floor around the time that Sarah was killed. He works for Akio Himura. I'm going to contact Nake and give him what we got. Angela is going to send some emails to the Tokyo police and hopefully they can take it from there."

It doesn't seem very satisfactory to let someone else take over our investigation.

In agreement with his partner, Booth sighed, "Yeah, I agree, but we don't really have jurisdiction to investigate in Japan and the cops over there are pretty good. Now that we can give them something to work with it should speed up their investigation. It looks like Sarah is going to get justice after all."

I'm glad. Are you going to meet me for lunch?

"Sure, just let me finish up this report I'm working on and I'll be right over." Flipping his report over, Booth picked up a pen, "I'll see you in about a half hour."

Taking a crispy french fry from Booth's plate, Brennan popped it into her mouth and chewed it with relish.

His soup a little too hot, Booth stirred it with his spoon trying to cool it down, "This summer sure has sped by. Parker is going home in a couple of weeks and it just seems like he just got here."

"I think he's had a lot of fun." Picking up her fork, Brennan poured a little dressing on her salad and spread it over her spinach leaves, "He really loves the summer camp at the Jeffersonian."

His attention captured by Caroline as she entered the Diner, Booth waved at her and smiled, "Hey Caroline, want to join us?"

Sitting down next to Brennan, Caroline waved at a waitress to place an order. "I might have a little time to spare. I heard that you gave the Tokyo police some evidence to point to whoever killed Sarah Curtis."

Booth's soup now cooler, he spooned up some of the vegetable soup and smiled, "Yeah, Danny helped Angela find a suspect so that's done. Charles Ruby's career at the CIA is over too."

Unconcerned about the Ruby, Caroline shrugged her shoulders, "If I had jurisdiction I'd go after him, but I don't damn it. Still, at least he's out of the CIA."

Swallowing some of his soup, Booth licked his lips, "How's the Poydras case coming along?"

Her waitress standing next to her, Caroline placed her order to go, "I don't really have time to eat it here. I have a meeting in my office with Deputy Director Stark in thirty five minutes. . . . The Poydras case looks like a slam dunk. He was asking for a deal this morning. That's what the meeting with Stark is all about. I'm inclined to take it, but we'll see. How's Parker doing? I haven't really seen him this summer."

Leaning forward, Booth smiled, "Parker was enrolled in the Science Summer Camp at the Jeffersonian and he's been having a blast. They've been doing some pretty cool experiments."

"Uh oh." Shaking her head, Caroline protested a little mildly, "Better be careful or those eggheads over there are going to turn your boy into a squint."

Irritated with Caroline's attitude, Brennan placed her fork down and turned to face the older woman, "What's wrong with Parker enjoying himself and would it be terrible if he decided that he liked science enough to pursue a career in a lab?

Placing his hand over her hand, Booth shook his head, "No, Bones, it wouldn't be terrible. I want Parker to do whatever makes him happy. If he decides that science is something he'd be interested in then I'll back him all the way. Caroline would too." His gaze now upon the prosecutor, Booth asked, "Wouldn't you?"

Amused that Booth was being so protective of his wife's feelings, Caroline smiled. "Oh sure." One of the waitresses vigorously waving at Caroline from the counter, held up a to go box and smiled. Her visit over, Caroline stood up, "I have to go, Cher'."

Watching her leave, Brennan shook her head, "Sometimes I don't think she really appreciates science like she should. I've helped solve a lot of cases that would never have been solved without my help."

Silently, Booth picked up his spoon and started to eat his now cool soup.

That evening, Parker was enjoying a game of chess with Brennan when the phone rang. Answering the phone, Booth was surprised to hear Rebecca on the other end, "Hey Rebecca, would you like to talk to Parker?"

Yes, but I need to talk to you before I talk to him. My father has had a massive heart attack, Seeley. I have to come back to the States to see about him. I should be there tomorrow night. I need to pick up Parker when I get there. Dad wants to see him. I . . . I don't know how bad it is, but . . . but this may be the last time that Parker will get to see his grandfather, Seeley. I know he was has two more weeks with you, but . . . you understand don't you Seeley?

Sad for Rebecca and his son, Booth replied, "Sure I do, Rebecca. When do want me to have him ready to go?"

I'll be there around seven tomorrow night. If you could have him ready when I get there, we'll drive up to Baltimore then.

His gaze moving towards his son, Booth frowned, "Alright. I'm sorry to hear about your father, Rebecca. He's a really nice guy and I hope he recovers."

Thank you, Seeley. Dad always did like you. Now if you'll let me talk to Parker, I'd appreciate it.

Waving his son over to the phone, Booth handed it to Parker and gripped his shoulder in sympathy, "Your Mom needs to talk to you, Buddy."

Taking the phone from his father, Parker sensed something was wrong and placed the phone to his ear. Nervously he said, "This is Parker, Mom."
