Context: For Anna, this is one of the first confrontations from the delinquents. Before this, she was at least verbally bullied once and maybe slapped around...

*Cling*

The delinquent fell back, stunned. Anna stepped forward, brandishing a metal baseball bat. She held it up like she'd seen Yamamoto hold one.

How do ya like me now, bastards?

The whole gaggle of them stepped back too, eyes on the baseball bat. Then, without any warning, she rushed forward, poised to strike. The delinquents stumbled backwards as one, bumping into each other and stepping on another's toes.

Anna tossed the bat to the side and hightailed it to the courtyard of the school, which was completely clear. She clutched her bag close to her chest, so it wouldn't limit her movement as she rushed past the gate, down the street, and through alleyways.

She finally stopped in a dark alley. Pushing herself back onto the wall, she slid down to the ground. She clutched her back tightly, gasping for breath.

"What a…. What a first….." She breathed out. A first time being bullied. And only because of the infamous Jenna. "Damn…."

Her breath back, she stood back up and brushed off her clothes. Hanging her bag off her shoulder again, she poked her head out the alleyway. Deciding the mob had better things to do, she pushed off for the Sawada Household.

"So you prefer flight over fight." Anna flinched and whipped around to find Reborn, perched on the wall bordering the street and a home.

. . . .

Anna's mouth opened, but nothing came out. She looked away and to the ground, looking for an answer.

…yeah.

"That isn't bad." Reborn noted. "For someone like you, flight is easier."

Like me?

"You're a small target, and quick. Though you could work on turning." Reborn explained. "But in the end, fighting really is important."

You mean bluffing.

"That too. You do it wonderfully." Reborn nodded his head with some appreciation.

I don't feel happy.

"I didn't think so."
