The Half – Chapter 53: Consumption
A few more days would pass, and Kyo's hair had faded more to black. The longer she stayed, the more she found herself trying to take off, but was always forced back to the ground when black Rukh would be the things to aid her. She had been forced into sparring with Hakuryuu once more, and an attempt to go against Kougyuku. But with her arms and now legs to fade with black as well, she had to force herself into trying to think of other methods on how to provide her own energy. The third eye upon her forehead remained and Kouen had gone on business for a while. At least now she was given a bit more lacks. But without his watch, the dark magi was to take over and use her as a toy of entertainment. That's how she had been forced to fight again.
But with Kouen gone, she had gained a little more freedom to wonder, and had begun her own personal training. It left her tired the next morning, but her body was quick in adapting as she forced herself till she passed out, to build up a longer lasting stamina. Her ability to rely on her own self strength began to push the black coloring of a dark Djinn was retracting slowly. But still not to ever be enough to get rid of it.
More days past, and Kouen had returned. No longer would he be patient with the female half djinn. She had escaped his grasp for too long now. And he was a man who sought for information. It would take the yanking of Judar to pull her down from the rooftops that she now used as her place of resting, rather than to find herself using the crown prince's bedroom again.
"Come on you…" Judar complained, and yanked Kyo by the wrist as he shoved her to the foot of Kouen's desk once more. Everything seemed the same, as the female, this time, caught herself from falling to the floor like the last time.
"Now…I would like you to tell me how you know my Djinn. It seems that your tie with him goes back further than just something recent." He sat up straight in his chair as Kyo stood before his desk.
"Why the hell should I say anything!? You're poisoning me here, and I don't have to tell you anything!"
"If you share, I will let you go."
"The hell you would…!" she growled as her hands turned into fists, and more of her hair began to fade, she still wasn't very good at holding her temper against this man. "I don't know how I know him, ok!? I don't remember anything as to how I know the other djinns as well…! I just-"her sentence was cut short as a large tremble shook the whole room, and would also shake the palace.
"Looks like we've got company…" Judar chuckled, and looked out a window as a barrier was then reflecting in the sky. A small hole in one spot would prove that something had somehow made its way in threw the barrier.
Kyo's eyes widened as she slightly gasped and ran to the window. "SINBAD!" she yelled, and jumped out the small window upon a higher up floor. Her senses pushed away as she forgot about how she was being eaten away by the dark Rukh, and she ran across the roof tops, closest towards where Sinbad could be seen with a few others.
With a stern look upon his face, Sinbad stared down, as his form was of that of Baal's The Sindria king had somehow managed to throw a lightning bolt threw the barrier, enough to shake the ground nicely. With him would be Alibaba and Aladdin, as well as Yamuraiha, who sat upon her staff. It had taken a long while to convince Sinbad to hold back in taking off the day after she had been taken. They had to come up with a strategy as they would be breaking rules by attacking the Kou Empire; but with the fact that Judar being the one to kidnap something that was from Sindria and take her to their own. Walked on the grounds of a retaliation of striking back in taking what was his.
With his arms at his side, and his hands clenched into fists, he soon spotted Kyo who stood a top of a roof. A slight relief to the Sindria King crossed his mind in seeing that she was still alive, at the least, something that was a new feeling to him.
"Uncle Sin… something's wrong with Kyo." Aladdin spoke as he narrowed and focused his eyes on Kyo. "Dark Rukh won't leave her. I don't like it…"
"Sinbad!" Kyo yelled again, and began taking off into the sky.
"I don't think so." A voice came out as Judar grabbed onto Kyo's wrist and threw her downward against the roof tops, her body skidding across the tiles, as like a repeat of what he did to her on Sindria.
"JUDAAARRR!" Sinbad yelled, as he launched at the barrier again. But he would be shoved back from his attempt, making the dark Magi chuckle with a smirk.
"What's the matter, Sin? Can't break through?" he chuckled again, and looked back to Kyo, as she had somehow managed to get back to her feet. The kimono dress she had been forced to wear, had now had one of its sleeves ripped off, and the slit in the bottom remained present, showing a leg as she braced herself in a more steady of a form.
"I'm... gonna… kill you…!" she yelled at the dark magi.
"There!" Aladdin yelled, pointing at Kyo as the dark coloring could be seen covering just about all her exposed arm and leg. But it was only to get worse from there. "If it covers her whole body, she'll be just like those dark djinns…!" the blue haired magi made mention to the other three that were in the air with him. Their shock to look the same as they all turned their eyes to the half djinn.
"I'm not going to let you go until I get what I want…" a new voice chimed in, and Kouen would be standing behind Kyo. He grabbed onto her wrist with his hand.
"Ow…! Hey!" she barked at him, trying to break free, but his grasp was tighter than she could break free of. His words were too soft for Sinbad's group to hear, but with Judar's ears to here this declaration, it only signaled that he could do what he pleased in keeping the Sindrians out.
"Let go of me!" Kyo yelled, as the darkness in the coloring on her skin began to consume over her more, and creep its way up her neck. Her hair fading upward more as her anger began to evolve. But it soon made mention to her what she was doing to herself, as her body began to feel tired and tired with the more of the consuming; her strength leaving her slowly as she was still recovering from the skid across the tiles.
