Buck rung the bell to the flat. he tapped his foot as he heard the shuffling coming near. The door flung open and the scruffy mutant emerged.
"Hey Victor, how you doing?" He smiled, handing over a bag of natural stances.
The older man sniffed at the bag, "Is that what I think?"
"Yep, couldn't think of anything else to get you while I was there," he smirked, "Got Logan this cola pack," he set it on the table, "Where is he?"
Vic inhaled the catnip deeply, "Runt is getting ready. Your kid brother coming?"
"I'm not sure, think he's hanging with his friends today," he shrugged.
"He's missing out, those Russians know how to grill some lamb."
"How are they grilling inside? Isn't that a fire hazard?"
"Everything Tony does could be considered a fire hazard," Logan waltzed in, "It's already cooked, he's just warming it. Now let's go, they won't wait forever."

Rhodes looked in the home section with a muse. Good looking places. He smiled and sipped his tea. Maybe he should move to a bigger place, that way when Tony got his house inevitably destroyed again he'd have more room. Two bedrooms is great for a bachelor, not so much for someone who often has two or more someones bunk.
"Colonel?" A man interrupted his lunch, "You have a visitor sir."
He tapped the intercom button, "I'm about finished with my break, send them in."
A man walked in, adjusting his sunglasses.
"Shouldn't you still be pretending to be dead?" He smiled up.
"Only in public," he closed the door and took a seat, "How you doing, son?"
The Colonel shrugged, "They finally got all my papers right and dropped the 'lieutenant' off. How about you?"
"Being dead is busy work," the director set his glasses on the desk, "Did you think about what I said?"
James smiled and leaned back, "What's to think about? More money and more days off. Just waiting for you to tell me when."
"I think the time is now."

Tony fidgeted as he waited for Steve. Slowly the blond came forth from the building. He looked less than perky.
"Long day?" He watched as the man climbed in the front seat.
"No longer than normal. We're going out to have a new assignment."
"Whose 'we'?" The genius pulled out, not even giving the man a chance to buckle up.
"Extraction. And we as in everyone," he leaned back, "Going to get Bucky?"
"Nope, mama already got him," Tony marked as he pulled on the expressway. One less task for him.

"Everyone full?" Rhodey asked as he took the dishes, "I'm sure you are," he could see Bucky holding his tight stomach.
It was family movie night so they had requested Jarvis play the Jurassic Park trilogy. Something they could all agree on.
"I'm full," Tony marked, leaning into the pillow.
"Good, you guys can start the movie. I'll be there soon," James told them. It was mostly him dumping the paper plates and bones, washing the few dishes that were there.
It took him all of fifteen minutes to give everything a clean and such. He washed his hands and walked to the front room, expecting Tony to instantly disassemble himself from Steve and climb on him.
He smiled, seeing the three men huddled together on the floor, leaning into the pillows from the couch. Rhodey just took the blanket from the couch and covered them all before he sat on the lazyboy.
"Nothing like a quiet night of movies, eh Jarvis?" He smiled, wrapping himself in another blanket and eating some popcorn.
"I agree."
Know it took forever, I didn't die. But I was working on a surprise for you guys. You'll get to see it in about a week. If you haven't seen Avengers 2, go see it. Much love, Rie :)
