Prompt: Kensi and Deeks are stationed on an aircraft carrier together. They're both trying to get back to their bunks when a sudden storm hits.

As more waves crash into the boat, Kensi and Deeks both fly into the wall on their right. She yells, almost involuntarily.

"You literally aren't scared of anything-" Deeks mutters as he gets back up on his feet, "-but you get freaked out when a boat starts to sway?"

Kensi grips the wall for balance as she stands back up. "First of all- this is a ship, not a boat, and second of all-" She falls over again. Deeks grabs a handrail and manages to stay standing. "-there's a difference between begin freaked out and being thrown into a wall."

He rolls his eyes and offers her a hand. "Come on, partner. I've got you."

She grabs his hand, stands up, and then another wave hits and Deeks practically falls on top of her.

"Wanna repeat that last part again?" she asks, eyebrows raised.

He chuckles. "I'm on top of you, so technically I still do, in fact, have you-"

"I am literally going to murder you if you don't get off of me within the next five seconds."

Deeks widens his eyes and reluctantly pries himself away from her. "As you wish."

It isn't exactly what she 'wishes for,' but Kensi can't really say, "No please, continue lying on top of me for as long as you'd like. I'd love that, actually. That would be great."

Well… she could. But she isn't going to.

Kensi lifts a hand in the air towards her partner and he pulls her up wordlessly. They both start walking again, actually making some progress this time around.

"Where's your bunk?" he asks suddenly.

She snorts. "Wouldn't you like to know."

"Not like that, I'm just asking."

"Of course you are."

"Kensi."

"Fine, fine. If you must know, I'm right next to you."

Deeks lifts his eyebrows. "And how would you know that? Has someone been checking to see who was assigned to which barrack, perhaps?"

God, he isn't even subtle about their thing anymore. Kensi can't say she minds it. "Don't get your hopes up. Hetty told me."

His voice raises an octave. "Ahhh, did she now?"

"Yes. She did."

"I'm sure she did."

"Why are you acting so weird?"

He shrugs. "I dunno. Maybe because you know where my bunk is and you've been all over me tonight."

"I fell!"

Deeks sighs. "That's what they all say."

"I don't know what you're insinuating here, Deeks, but if I were you I'd really-"

She's silenced as the boat suddenly thrashes to the right. Kensi slips, yells, falls, and pulls him down with her.

He breaks into a smile and she can't help but do the same. "That was an accident."

"I'm sure it was," Deeks replies with a laugh and a quick wink. He pulls them both up from the ground and watches his partner starts to collect herself.

As Kensi begins walking away he smiles, thinking about the fact that she grabbed his hand just before taking the tumble.

Maybe, just maybe, someone was a little 'freaked out' after all.
