Clara woke up abruptly, but the pain in her head kept her glued to the floor. She moved her hand up to her head to feel another bump forming right next to the one that was still healing from last week. Lovely. When she gained her surroundings she realized she was lying right next to the swimming pool, like, if she rolled a little to the right she would have been submerged in water, so she guessed that was pretty lucky. She looked into the water and realized Scarlet wasn't as lucky as she was.

Still falling under water was the blonde haired girl, her eyes closed and mouth open. Reacting quickly and ignoring the pain in her head, Clara got up and jumped into the water to grab her mate. The cold water shocked her body, making more pain shoot through her. She sunk a little and swallowed some water. She felt helpless and useless as she tried to stay above the surface.

She mustered up as much strength as she could in her bruised arms and lifted up the woman sinking next to her. She pushed her over the side and onto the concrete, knocking Scarlet's head on the hard stone. Clara then pushed her sore muscles to the limit as she tried to get out of the pool. She badly scraped her knees, making blood drip down her legs. When she was finally back out of the pool she rushed over to Scarlet, who hadn't yet stirred. Using all the force she could muster up, she pressed down onto Scarlet's chest, doing exactly what she remembered for the CPR class Mr. Maitland made her take. Then she remembered.

"Two hearts." She then moved to the right, pressing down and then blowing air into her lungs, Left, right, lungs, left, right, lungs. She heard a gurgling noise come from Scarlet's throat, and flipped her to the side so she could vomit. After her stomach was emptied, she started stirring. Clara smiled.

Scarlet got up quickly and was already on her feet.

"What happened?" Scarlet asked, a little bit of shock in her voice.

"You mean the swimming pool or..."

"No before that, how did we get knocked out?"

"The TARDIS started trembling, like the Doctor was flying it." Clara said.

"Her, and no, we haven't moved- Oof!" Scarlet was cut off as Clara embraced her in a hug. "Ow, why does my chest hurt?"

"Because I gave you CPR stupid! You were drowning, I almost lost you." Clara hugged her tighter.

"Ow OW Clara that hurts!" Scarlet yelped.

"Sorry, you just really scared me." She let go.

"It's fine, you saved my life, thank you." She then inspected Clara. "Did you get hurt?"

"Yeah, I got a bump on my head and basically my whole body is bruised, but-" Before Clara could say she would be fine, Scarlet's hands were cupping Clara's head. The golden dust spread from her to Clara, seeping into her skull. Clara felt a cooling sensation numbing the hot pain in her head. When the cool was gone, so was the pain. Clara looked up at Scarlet, and then smacked her on the shoulder.

"What was that for, using up your years like that!" Clara yelled as her hand moved away from Scarlet.

"Well this is the second concussion you've gotten this week..."

"So!?"

"You could get some brain damage from that! Plus, we still need to find the Doctor's fucking bowtie museum and I don't want you to be in pain." Clara paused.

"But what about you?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me."

"I always worry about you." Clara smiled. Scarlet smiled back, she didn't know what to say. Her mother used to say that to her when she told her not to worry. Before it was about homework and exams, now it's about concussions and drowning. She guessed there was a pretty big difference.

"Clara?'

"What?"

"Is it just me, or did that door just appear." Scarlet said, pointing to the metal vault-like door that had just spawned on the other side of the swimming pool.

"Haven't seen that before."

"Maybe the old girl will help us after all."

"Yeah, all it took was a concussion and one of us almost drowning."

Fortunately, it was the TARDIS helping them. The vault-like door automatically rolled to the side and revealed...a woman. The short woman that was probably in her forties sat behind a desk that read, WELCOME. She had blonde hair and blue eyes and was of course, wearing a bowtie. She had a nametag that read "Heidi". Scarlet walked up with Clara closely behind her.

"Hello, welcome to the International Bowtie Museum! How may I help you?" Heidi said with a cheery voice.

"Hello...I'm sorry? Did you say international?" Scarlet asked.

"Yes, Miss, all these bowties have been donated from around the world to here in Palm Springs." Heidi answered. "All of that and more will be covered in today's tour."

"We will take it then." Scarlet answered smiling.

"Okay." Heidi said, tapping away at her computer. "That'll be 50 dollars please." Scarlet turned back to Clara.

"Do you have any money?" She asked her.

"I've only got a couple of pounds, and I don't think they do exchanges." Clara stepped up to the woman's desk. "Excuse me, do you know a man called the Doctor?"

"Well, yes." She said pointing to a picture on the wall. "He is one of our main supporters." The picture was of the Doctor and some bearded man shaking hands. They were both wearing bowties.

"Well," Clara said. "This is his sister."

"Can I see some ID?" Heidi asked. Scarlet pulled out her psychic paper and showed it to the woman.

"Sorry about the confusion Ms. Smith, a tour should be starting soon down that hallway." She said giving them tickets. "Oh! And here's a pass for the gift shop, one free bowtie, enjoy!" Scarlet and Clara walked down the hallway, completely covered in bowties.

"When did the Doctor tell you he 'adopted' me?" Scarlet asked.

"Right after he picked me up. He seemed pretty excited about it too."

"Oh." Was all Scarlet could think to say. They walked out of the tiny main desk area and into a bright open room with people bustling by. Who knew a bowtie museum could be so busy.

"Are we still in the TARDIS?" Clara asked.

"No, the door was kinda like a portal...to Palm Springs." Scarlet paused, making out what she had just said. "Wait, didn't the Doctor say he was going to Palm Springs?"

"Do you think he's here?" Clara asked.

"He could be anytime right now, but he could here."

"Wait, hold on a second!"

"What?" Scarlet asked confused.

"You said this isn't in the TARDIS, which means that this museum doesn't belong to the Doctor!"

"You're a genius, that means none of these belong to him!" She paused. "That idiot made us come her FOR NOTHING!" Her voice got louder as she spoke. Clara could see the anger in her eyes.

"So we could leave right now." Clara said, glancing towards where the tour was starting.

"Yeah we could." Scarlet agreed. They both paused, glaring at the door they came through and at the tour group that was slowly forming.

"I kinda want to take the tour." Clara said.

"Me too...you know, to see if the Doctor's here." She said, trying not to sound lame.

"Yeah, well, the tours starting." They both walked over to join the tour, afraid what was in store for them in the future.
