Daughter of the Deadman II

Hey, all. OK Explanation Time...I have a serious addiction to WWE2K14 because I FINALLY managed to to get a PlayStation 3 and a copy of the game. I've been playing it to no end, and I have created both Angel and Kristy and Uploaded them to Community Creations. I won't put my Username here, but if you've got a PS3, just go to the Search thing and look up Custom Superstars and put in Hart Princess or Dead Girl and you'll find them.

I've also been trying to replicate this story on the Story Designer, but I did something stupid the other day. I saved Part 2 over top of Part 1! So, it'll be up when I can get it done and I'll be doing Raw only in 1 month chunks just so you guys know.

But now, to relevant business here, I would have got to thank Randy's Viper Girl for helping me with this chapter. Thanks also to: Cena's baby doll, Wolfgirl2013, tomwilliams1990, kakashishot, and Randy's Viper Girl for their reviews.

See ya at the bottom!

Chapter 55: The Fallout

It was three hours later and everyone was in the waiting room at the hospital. Bret, Owen, Davey, and Kane had all fallen asleep an hour ago. Nattie and Tyson sat there, quietly whispering to each other every once in awhile, but other then that not saying much Kristy had sent a text to Adam and told him to meet them there. He had arrived about half an hour after that and was now hugging Kristy who had been crying non stop for the last hour. Not only that, but she had pulled out her hearing aids and refused to speak to anyone. Wyatt was sound asleep next to them on the couch. Lea was sitting on David's lap with tears rolling down her face and David himself was wide awake, watching the Deadman pace back and forth across the room. All of them understood how he felt.

It had been three hours since they had brought Angel in and they hadn't heard anything. The last time Taker had spoken to the doctor, he had snapped at them to do whatever they felt was needed to get Angel back on her feet again. Then the doctor had told everyone to go to the waiting room and as soon as they had any news, they would come and tell them. Taker growled under his breath. Just then, the doctor finally came in. He looked exhausted. He didn't even get a chance to speak before Taker jumped all over him.

"It's about damn time! Now, where's Angel? How is she? And what the hell have you been doing to her all this time?" he snapped.

"Mr. Calaway, please. I know you're very upset, but we've been working with Angel for the last three hours." the doctor said.

"Why the hell did it take so long? Is she OK?" David asked.

"She's...OK, but she isn't. We pumped her stomach to get rid of the chloroform. We did blood work and that came back alright. But when we did chest x-rays, we found something troubling. At some point when she ingested the chloroform, it must have gone down the wrong way. She hasn't been able to breathe on her own for the last little bit." the doctor said.

"I didn't even realize...I was just happy to see her relatively safe..." Taker said.

"It's alright, Mr. Calaway. But we've hooked Angel up to a ventilator to help her breathe. She's been drifting in and out of it. It took us longer to do things because when she would come to, she would seem very frightened and it took coaxing to let us get near her." the doctor said.

"Angel...doesn't like hospitals...or doctors...or paramedics..." Kristy whispered, putting her hearing aids back in.

"Ah, well, that makes a lot of sense. Miss, I notice you have hearing aids. Did you happen to understand what I told Angel's father?" the doctor asked.

"Angel's dying isn't she?" Kristy asked.

"No, Kristy. She's not. She just can't breathe right now. She got chloroform in her lungs at some point. We didn't notice when we found her because we were happy to see her, but she was having breathing problems. But she's not dying. Just...drifting in and out of sleep." Taker said.

"I can read lips, so I kind of knew what Uncle Taker was saying. But I can also tell by the look on his face." Kristy said.

"I'm fine, Kristy. And you don't have to be scared of Angel dying. She's not going anywhere." Taker said.

"Are you sure?" Kristy asked, looking worried and scared.

"Angel not going! She get better!" Lea snapped at her.

"Lea, don't be like that, sweetheart. Kristy is scared right now. It's hard to explain, but every time one of us gets very hurt, she gets scared we'll go away." Taker said.

"She's always been like that." David said.

"But...Angel not go anywhere..." Lea said.

"We know, but it's hard to explain, Little One." Taker said.

"Otay. Daddy, can we go see Angel?" Lea asked.

Taker nodded. Lea hopped off David's lap and ran to Taker. She took his hand. Kristy stood up too, but Taker shook his head. He told her that he would go with Lea first to see if Angel was really alright and if she looked alright. Kristy sighed, but nodded anyway. Taker and Lea followed the back to the Trauma Unit. Taker was stunned when he saw Angel. She was sound asleep, but even so she looked ill. He hadn't noticed it before. Taker sighed and picked up Lea so that she could see her sister.

"Angel look sick, Daddy. She not doing good." Lea said.

"It's because of the bad stuff in her body, Little One." Taker said.

"Oh...I not think Risty should see Angel..." Lea said.

"You don't think Kristy should see Angel right now?" Taker asked.

"Yeah. Risty not see Angel yet. She too sick and Risty get scared." Lea said.

"That's probably a good point, Little Lea." Taker said.

Lea beamed. She reached over and kissed Angel on the cheek. Taker sighed and kissed Angel on the forehead. Lea said goodbye to her sister and Taker took her back to the waiting room. Everyone was waiting for him. Even Bret, Owen and Davey were awake now. Kristy sighed and stood up. Taker shook his head.

"What?" Kristy asked.

"I don't think that you should see Angel right now, Kristy. She doesn't look so well..." Taker said.

"We'll go with her, Deadman. It isn't going to do her any good not to see her." Bret said.

"That works." Taker said.

Everyone left the waiting room and headed to the room where Angel was situated. Taker took Lea inside and everyone else followed him. Taker knew when Kristy caught sight of Angel because she let out a scream and turned and tried to run away. Luckily, Owen, Davey, and Bret stopped her. She started to cry. Owen closed the door.

"Hey...don't cry, Little Kristy." Taker said.

"She's as white as...well, I'd say she's as white as Sheamus, but this is no time for puns." Kristy said.

"I've never seen her so pale. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen her this sick before." Bret said.

"Is it the chloroform that's making her so sick?" Kristy asked.

"Probably. We have no way of knowing how much or how often Jennifer used it on her." Davey said.

"When I get back in the ring, she's first on the hit list! I'm not letting her get away with this!" Kristy snapped.

"No, Kristy. Don't. It was Hunter. Hunter was using Angel to get at me." Taker said.

"I'll go after him." Owen said.

"No!" Kristy said.

"Kristy, I have to. Bret can't anymore. It's my job now." Owen said.

"But...what about...he...well, you know..." Kristy said, stuttering.

"Kristy, breathe, sweetheart. What is it?" Taker asked.

"She's worried, Mark. Kristy has sight as well as guardian and she's remembering what she fears most. Hunter hurting Owen." Beth said.

"Kristy, I'll be fine. Don't worry." Owen said.

"Daddy?" Lea asked.

"What is it, Little One?" Taker asked.

"If he trying to get you, why he hurt Angel? Why he not hurt me tead of Angel?" Lea asked.

"Because, Little One. I'd kill him if he hurt you and he knows it." Taker said.

"Otay. I...wish it me that sick..." Lea said.

"Lea, why would you say something like that, sweetheart?" Bret asked.

"Because then Angel not be sick!" Lea said.

"Lea...sweetheart..." Taker said.

"Great. Look what you've taught her, Kristy." Bret said.

"I didn't teach her anything!" Kristy told him.

"You're the one who always says "It should be me" when Angel gets hurt." Bret pointed out.

"Bret, don't you start." Owen snapped.

"Risty no teach me that. I just not understand why he hurt Angel and not me. That all." Lea said.

"Sweetheart, I know that sometimes people think that I love Angel more then I love you, but that's not true. I love both of you. But if he had have done to you what he did to Angel...I would have killed him. And I mean that literally." Taker said.

"He's right. It's one thing to hurt Angel. It's another thing to hurt you." Bret said.

"And what is that supposed to mean?!" Kristy asked.

"It means, Kristy, that Lea is just a baby and she means a lot to Angel. It's just like if someone was to hurt Wyatt. Hurting a little child is probably the worst thing in the world and it means that someone has no heart. Like your mother." Owen said.

"I guess you're right..." Kristy said.

"Besides, Angel can fight this and bounce back from it, it's just going to take awhile. Lea would never have been able to handle the amount of chloroform that Jen put in Angel's body. It would have killed her." Beth said.

"Aunt Beth...were you there...the whole time?" Kristy asked.

"Yes. And I should have done something to protect her. But Jennifer would have thought Angel was using her powers and it would have been worse for her." Beth said, looking upset.

"Jen would have done something worse then what Hunter had already planned." Bret said.

"Bethy...how many times did Jen make Angel drink water laced with chloroform?" Taker asked.

"Three times. Maybe more. It was hard to tell with all the screaming." Beth admitted.

"Screaming?" Kristy whispered, looking frightened.

"Jennifer and Hunter screaming at her to shut up." Beth said.

"Let me guess. She was saying that I was going to come and get her and there was nothing they could do about it and they didn't like that." Taker said.

"You got it, Mark." Beth said.

They were interrupted by the door opening. To everyone's complete shock, Shawn Michaels came in. He looked upset. Everyone was sure that he had been crying. What they weren't sure of was why exactly. Kristy turned and glared at him.

"What are you doing here?! This is your fault! If you had been able to exercise control over your daughter, this wouldn't have happened to Angel! Get the hell out of here!" she snapped.

"Take it easy, Kristy. He had no idea. And before you ask, I know because he looked just as shocked as I probably did and you know how I am with reading people. I'm good at it." Taker said.

"No, Taker. She's right. If I had just exercise a bit of control over Jen, she never would have done this. I'm sorry, Kristy. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I swear I didn't." Shawn said.

"I...well, just so you know, Jen's not getting away with this, Shawn. I'm going after her." Kristy snapped.

"I would expect nothing less from a Hart. And I really am sorry, Taker. When Kristy is done with Jen—providing there's anything left of her—I'm taking her off the road for as long as she needs to be to learn that she can't run around WWE doing whatever she wants. Just like I had to." Shawn said.

"You mean, you're actually going to let me get my hands on your daughter?" Kristy asked.

"If that's what it takes for her to learn that the things you say—and in this case do—have consequences, then yes I will." Shawn said.

"Thanks, Shawn." Kristy said.

"So...is she going to be alright? She looks pretty sick from over here." Shawn said.

"She is. We know that they forced her to drink chloroform laced water at least three times. Maybe more then that because she wouldn't keep quiet. She's got it in her lungs too. She can't even breathe on her own right now and who knows if there will be lasting effects." Taker said.

"Damn it! I never thought...y'all have to know...I never thought Hunter would do this. I swear to God, I didn't know." Shawn said, breaking down in tears.

"I know you didn't know he'd do that. I believe you." Taker said.

Just then, there was a commotion from the other side of the room. Taker looked back and saw that Angel was stirring. He walked over and took her hand, telling her that it was alright and that everyone was there and if she wanted to open her eyes, she could, but if she wasn't ready yet, that was alright too. After a minute, Angel seemed to sigh and settle back into a peaceful sleep again.

"Papa Taker, why you tell her she not have to wake up?" Wyatt asked, speaking for the first time.

"Because, Little Guy, if we let her sleep, she won't be in pain. And it will help her get better if she rests." Taker said.

"Oh...Mommy...I see Aunt Angel?" Wyatt asked.

Kristy sighed. Part of her wanted him to see Angel, but the other part was dreading it. No one had any idea how Wyatt would react. Kristy walked him over to the bed and lifted him up. Wyatt didn't say anything. His eyes went wide and he reached over and started pulling on the tube that was helping Angel breathe.

"Wyatt, stop! Don't do that!" Kristy said.

"But...it hurt Aunt Angel!" Wyatt said.

"Wyatt, sweetheart, it's helping her to breathe." Kristy said.

"NO! It hurt her." Wyatt said.

"Wyatt, stop it. If you pull that out, Angel won't be able to breathe!" Taker told him.

"Papa..." Wyatt said, bursting into tears.

"Oh, no." Bret and Owen said at the same time.

"Mark, you shouldn't have screamed at him. He doesn't know what that is, so he thinks he's hurting her. Now, what is he going to think of you?" Beth said.

"Come on, Baby Boy, he didn't mean to. Papa Taker is just very upset right now. He didn't mean to yell at you, I promise he didn't." Kristy said.

"Really?" Wyatt asked.

"I'm sorry, Little Guy. I'm just really upset. But see that thing that the tube is connected to?" Taker asked.

Wyatt looked around. They watched as his eyes went from the tube in Angel's mouth to the machine that it was hooked up to. Then his eyes fell on the IV lines in her arm. He started to cry again.

"It's OK, Baby Boy." Kristy said.

"But...why Angel have stuff?" Wyatt asked.

"Because it's helping her to get better. This is something our powers can't fix, Baby Boy. If it was, I would do it in a heartbeat, but I can't. Guardian powers don't work that way." Kristy said.

"Mommy...how you know I think that?" Wyatt asked.

"Because you have the same look on your face that I did when I asked Nana Beth about the powers. She explained it to me. Guardian powers can fix some things, Baby Boy, but they can't fix everything. Guardians are there to heal and help when they can, but this is something we can't fix." Kristy said.

"And Daddy and Uncle and me not can fix it either." Lea said, looking sad.

"We know, Baby Lea. See Wyatt, this is something that none of us can fix. Only the doctors can." Kristy said.

"What that beep noise?" Wyatt asked.

"That's Angel's heartbeat, Little Guy. As long as that machine keeps beeping, we know Angel is still with us." Taker said.

"So if it stop, then Aunt Angel..." Wyatt said.

"I'm afraid so, Baby Boy." Kristy said.

"Not say that! Angel not go anywhere!" Lea snapped at him, bursting into tears.

Taker sighed. He hadn't realized how scared Lea was until now. He walked over and picked her up. Lea hugged him and cried into his shoulder. Wyatt looked even more upset.

"I never even thought of how scared these two must be right now." Taker said.

"Neither did we." Bret and Owen said.

"I don't think any of us did." Kane said.

"OK. We know you two are scared. Do you want to tell us about it?" Adam asked.

"No." Wyatt said.

"Wyatt, it's not good to keep your feelings all bottled up inside of you. Sometimes bad things happen if you do that." Bret said.

"I not want talk!" Wyatt said.

"Bret, just leave him alone. He'll talk about it when he wants to." Taker said.

Just then, Angel started stirring again. This time however, she opened her eyes slowly and looked around. She was alright until she saw Shawn there with them. Then she seemed to panic. They all knew it because her heartbeat picked up.

"AUNT ANGEL! YOU WAKE UP!" Wyatt said.

"Angel, it's OK. None of us are going to hurt you. It's OK." Taker said.

"I think it's me." Shawn said.

"She's scared of Shawn?" Owen asked.

"She's scared he's here to hurt her." Bret said.

"Angel, Shawn's not going to hurt you, baby girl. I promise. He didn't even know what Hunter and Jennifer were planning to do to you. He was just as surprised as the rest of us. It's OK. He just wants to make sure you're alright." Taker said.

"Yeah, that's all. Shawn even said I could kill Jen." Kristy said.

Angel nodded, but she still looked worried. She relaxed though. Lea reached out her arms and Angel took her, setting her on her lap. Shawn decided that now was a good time to leave, so he said goodbye to everyone and walked out of the room. A few minutes later, the doctor came in. He seemed shocked to see Angel awake.

"Hi, Miss Calaway, are you feeling better?" the doctor asked after a minute.

Angel just shrugged in response. She was feeling alright, but she had definitely felt better. The doctor walked closer and Lea panicked and hugged Angel as tight as she could.

"Lea, it's alright. The doctor just wants to make sure that Angel is OK. I know she seems fine, but we don't know for sure." Taker said.

"NO! You stay way!" Lea said.

"He won't hurt her, Baby Lea." Kristy said.

Lea hesitated, but she nodded anyway. Taker picked her up. The doctor checked Angel over and she seemed fine, but when he went to pull the breathing tube out, Angel shook her head. Taker looked at her as she started using sign language. The doctor looked from Angel to Taker and back again.

"I feel OK, but I don't think my lungs are very strong anymore." Taker translated.

"Your lungs are alright, Miss Calaway. They're just weak because of the water." the doctor said.

Angel nodded. She took as deep a breath as she could and the doctor pulled the tube out. Angel started coughing. They all watched in fear. After a few minutes, she laid back into the pillows and sighed, but she still didn't speak. The doctor told her that they'd be keeping her over night just to be sure she was alright and that her father and sister could stay with her. Angel nodded. The doctor left. They looked at her worriedly.

Ang, do you need some water. Kristy asked

No. I'm fine. I don't need any water. Angel signed, looking frightened.

"You're fine, Angel. Don't worry." David said.

I am not drinking water. Angel said, tears starting to run down her face now.

"I wonder why she won't speak out loud." Bret said.

"Maybe her vocal cords are damaged?" Davey suggested.

"I hope not." Taker said.

"Angel, when they were checking you out, did they happen to check out your throat before they put the tube in?" Owen asked.

I don't remember. Angel signed.

"Ang, are you scared to talk because of what happened?" Kristy asked.

Yeah... Angel signed.

"What do you mean?" Bret asked.

"Every time she spoke, they would give her that damn chloroform spiked water, remember? She won't talk now because she's afraid it will happen again. And me asking her if she wanted water probably wasn't smart.." Kristy said.

"Angel Baby, you have to drink something. A Coke maybe?" Beth asked.

No. I'm fine...please don't worry. Angel signed.

"She's right, Ang. You have to drink something." Kristy said.

I'm alright. Angel signed.

"Aunt Angel...you scared?" Wyatt asked.

I'm fine. I just don't want anything to drink. And I don't want to talk. Angel signed, trying not to get upset.

"OK. OK. He's just asking, Ang. You don't need to snap at him. Geez." Kristy said.

"Kristy, don't. Angel, it's alright if you're afraid and if you don't want to talk and it's alright to be upset too, but we're in a hospital. You're perfectly safe here." Taker told her.

"Come on, Wyatt. You and I need to take a walk, Baby Boy." Kristy said.

"Why? Mommy mad?" Wyatt asked.

"No. I'm not mad, but there's something that you and I need to talk about." Kristy said.

"Krissy, now?" Owen said.

"It's a good time to tell him...it's about me. Not Angel." Kristy said.

She took Wyatt from the room. Everyone looked at each other. Angel burst into tears. She thought she had done something wrong. Taker walked over and hugged her. Angel continued sobbing.

"It's OK, sweetheart." Beth said.

"You didn't do anything, Baby Girl." Taker said.

What does she want to tell him? Is something the matter with her? Angel signed, looking worried.

"No, Angel. Kristy thinks that it's time Wyatt knows about everything. About what Diana did to her and about John. She just hasn't had the courage to do it." Adam said.

Oh, OK. Angel signed.

"She wasn't upset at you, Angel. She noticed Wyatt was getting upset ad wanted to take him out of here so she could tell him. He's sensitive. Just like she is." Bret said.

"I...know..." Angel whispered, shaking.

"It's OK, Baby Girl. Nothing will happen. We won't do anything. Although, I think you should have something to drink. No offence but you sound awful." Taker said.

"A soda..." Angel whispered.

Taker nodded. Bret left to go and get it since he was closest to the door. He left and when he came back he had a soda and a straw. He handed it to Taker who opened it and put the straw in before handing it to Angel. She hesitated before taking a sip. Then she set it down on the table.

"Angel?" Owen asked.

"It tastes fine, but I'm going to drink it slowly. What about you guys? Are you all alright?" Angel asked, still whispering.

"We're good. Kristy kicked major butt tonight." Adam said.

"She really gave Jen a beating. I'm afraid when she gets back in the ring it won't be pretty." Taker said.

"OK. As long as you're all alright." Angel whispered.

"Angel, you be tay? Right. You sound...sad and not good." Lea said.

"You sound like you're about to have an asthma attack, baby girl." Taker said.

"It's my lungs...they still hurt..." Angel whispered.

"Daddy! Get docer! He make Angel feel better!" Lea said.

"Lea, honey, that's from the tube in Angel's lungs. They burn like a nightmare. I should know." Davey said.

"You sure?" Lea asked, looking at Angel worriedly.

"I'm sure, Little Lea." Davey said.

"It's because...my lungs...need to get stronger...I'll be OK..." Angel whispered.

"Angel Baby, you don't have to whisper, sweetheart. Nothing is going to happen to you." Beth said.

"Why don't you sign for now, Angel. It will be easier on you." Bret said.

"I'll be fine, Bret. But thanks for worrying." Angel whispered.

"I'd be scared to talk loud too if someone kept giving me chloroform spiked water every time I opened my mouth." Taker said.

"True." Owen and Adam said.

Just then, Kristy came back in with Wyatt in tow. Wyatt was crying. As soon as he walked into the room, he let go of Kristy and ran to Adam. Adam knelt down and gave him a hug. After that, he climbed up on Taker's lap and then climbed onto Angel's bed. He hugged her.

"Hey...it's OK." Angel whispered to him.

"Mommy...lose me..." Wyatt said.

"You told him that?" Owen asked.

"I told him everything, Uncle Owen." Kristy said.

"Oh, Wyatt...it's alright..." Angel told him quietly.

"Mommy said that for I born I have a Daddy, but he not want me, then she find Daddy." Wyatt said.

"Well, that's true, Little Guy. His name is John Cena and he used to love your Mommy and you very much...but something changed..." Angel explained to him.

"He not love me and Mommy no more?" Wyatt asked.

"Oh, he still loves your Mommy, Wyatt. Your Mommy just doesn't love him." Bret said.

"Bret, hush!" Owen snapped.

"Is something else upsetting you, Little Guy?" Angel asked quietly.

"Why mean woman try to take me away from Mommy?" Wyatt asked.

"Because...the mean woman didn't want your Mommy, so she does whatever she can to make sure your Mommy isn't happy." Angel whispered.

"That not fair." Wyatt said.

"No, it's not." Angel whispered.

"Aunt Angel, what wrong? You...talk funny." Wyatt said.

"It's complicated..." Angel whispered.

"Remember the tube in her throat from before, Little Man?" Taker asked.

"Yes." Wyatt said.

"Well, it makes it hard to talk after it's been taken out. Your Aunt Angel will be fine in a few days." Taker said.

Wyatt nodded. Then both he and Lea curled up with Angel in the bed. It wasn't long before they both fell asleep. Angel picked up her drink and drank some more. No one was sure what to do. In the end, they decided that Wyatt, Lea, Taker, David, and Kane would stay there. Kristy and Adam both walked over and kissed Wyatt. Taker asked them to bring a change of clothes for Angel when they came back in the morning. Kristy agreed and gave Taker a hug. Then everyone left. Kane sighed and walked over to the window. It had started to rain.

"You OK, Kane?" David asked.

"What do you think?" Kane asked.

"You're not OK, Uncle. You're thinking that I didn't deserve this." Angel whispered.

"Something like that, Little Angel." Kane asked.

"I'm taking you and Lea home tomorrow, Angel. You'll probably feel safer there." Taker said.

"OK, Daddy..." Angel whispered.

"Something bothering you, big brother?" Kane asked.

"I'm getting sick of my opponents using you as a weapon against me." Taker said to Angel.

"I know. But it's going to happen, Daddy. No one can use Lea. They're not going to use someone who can't fight back." Angel whispered.

"Not to mention, Hunter knows they're your weakness. But something tells me that Kris isn't going to let Jen get her hands on anyone for awhile. She's seething." David said.

"Kristy doesn't need to worry. I'll be fine in no time." Angel whispered, taking another drink of her soda.

"We know, baby girl, but you didn't see the look in Kristy's eyes when she had Jen by the throat and was beating her." Taker said.

"She was like...well, if there's a level of anger beyond being livid, Kristy found it." Kane said.

"It's because I was hurt. Kristy only ever gets that way if I'm hurt...it's weird." Angel whispered.

"It's not just you, baby girl. She gets that way with everyone." Taker said.

"When any of us gets hurt or we start fighting, she gets that fire in her eyes. Uncle Bret says it's Grandma Helen coming through a bit. Grandma always tries to keep the peace between us and jumping on anyone who dares hurt us." David said.

"But...I'm just me. I'm...not that special." Angel whispered.

"Angel, you might feel like you're all that special, but to Kristy you are. You're one of the few people who's been there for her. You didn't make friends with her because she was a Hart and you didn't abandon her when you found out she was deaf. And you managed to be there for her despite everything you were being put through." David said.

"That's true, baby girl." Taker said.

"And ever since you've learned to stick up for yourself, you've been doing that for her too if you feel she needs your help." Kane said.

"I guess..." Angel whispered.

"You know it's true, baby girl. You were there for her when she got pregnant. And it's because of you that she kept Wyatt." Taker said.

"Don't get us wrong, she loves Wyatt more then life itself and would do anything for him, but part of the reason that she decided to keep him was because of you, Angel." David said.

"I didn't do that much. I just told her she had to do what she thought was right..." Angel whispered.

"We know, baby girl, but when you told her you would help her with him, that was when she decided for sure that she would keep him." Taker said.

"The point is...you're like her sister. And she is not impressed with what Jen and Hunter did to you. And since she could get in trouble for going after Hunter, she's going for Jen." Kane said.

"But...I can take care of Jen when I get back...she doesn't have to." Angel whispered.

"It's her way of making Hunter pay since she can't touch him. If she could, she'd be all over him in a heartbeat, baby girl. She wants to make him suffer the way he made me suffer. Kristy isn't one to torment anyone, but she does know a mind game or two." Taker said with a smile.

"I still don't think you should have taught her to do that, Taker." David said.

"She's the one who kept bugging him about it. Kristy wanted to learn it. Not to mention, she wanted to learn how to use fire powers, but I wasn't about to teach her that, so I showed her how to do a proper Choke Slam, but she hasn't used it yet." Kane said.

"Daddy, what did you do?" Angel whispered.

"I taught Kristy a mind trick or two. So far, the only people she's used it on are Owen, Cena, and Eve. When she used it on Owen last Halloween, it was hilarious. He thought it was me playing around with him." Taker said.

"Do I already know how to do this trick?" Angel whispered, curious now.

"Well, Baby Girl, if you were born with all the powers that I have, you should be able to do it already." Taker said.

"You have, Angel. You just don't know it. I've heard Jen telling Hunter about all the horrible nightmares you've given her." Kane said.

"Oh...somehow mental torture sounds a lot more...well, it sounds more fun then physically torturing someone." Angel whispered.

"Only your daughter would say something like that, Taker." David said with a chuckle.

"Kristy had a lot of fun doing it to Cena. Although, she probably should have been more discreet with it." Kane said with a laugh.

"How so?" Angel asked.

"Well, when you tinker around with people's dreams and cause them to have nightmares, you're not supposed to let the person you're messing with know that they're being messed with." Taker said.

"That's not really what I meant, Big Brother. When Kristy was messing around with Cena, she got a little...well, she showed him things that he could have had with her. Like a happy family. And then she showed him what he'd done to her." Kane said.

"Do you think Cena knew that she was messing with her?" David asked.

"Yeah, he knew alright." Kane said.

"I told Kristy not to make it obvious! The person you're messing with isn't supposed to know that their dreams are being tampered with. I wish that girl would listen to me when it came to power stuff!" Taker said.

"He didn't know it was her, Big Brother. He thought it was me." Kane said.

"I know, but still. Regardless of who he thought it was, you're not supposed to make it obvious that their dreams are being tampered with. Technically, you're not even supposed to do that to people. It could cause them to start losing their minds. Like I said, I wish she'd listen to me when it came to power stuff. The reason I tell her these things is because I want her to be safe." Taker said.

"She wanted him to know, Big Brother. In fact, if you ask me, she should have. Eve was easier though. That one she didn't make it known that it was her. Actually, that one from what I've heard, was so scary that it even scared Kristy." Kane said.

"But still..." Taker said.

"Daddy, are you going to talk to her tomorrow?" Angel asked.

"I have to." Taker said.

"Just...be nice about it, alright? I know you're not happy because the power rules are there for a reason...but don't get angry at her. OK?" Angel asked.

"OK, baby girl. I won't yell at her." Taker said.

Angel nodded. She yawned and then leaned back into the pillows and closed her eyes. She was exhausted from everything she had been through in the last two nights. Taker watched as Angel fell asleep. It had been a long night for all of them.
