Information came in bits and pieces after that, She didn't need it. Those past couple of days she remembered everything clearly. Rumple didn't come to visit her the day she knew August took her past self to the place they both came through.

The day Henry took the turnover, Emma didn't want to get out of bed. She lay there with her back turned to Jefferson and Clara as she heard him get up, she heard him dress, and leave. When she'd asked once where he went, he replied that 'someone had to watch his daughter. shouldn't she already know that?' Emma let him go without questions after that, she let him be angry with her. She knew she deserved it.

Clara tugged on her covers and asked why she wasn't awake yet, Emma pulled the covers under her chin and said she didn't feel well. She dozed on and off all day, knowing her son was going to do something desperate to make his mother believe. She wanted to stop it, but she couldn't. IT was another one of those important events she couldn't interfere in on the way to interfere in a big event.

And besides, he woke up, that made it all alright, right?

Emma buried her face in her pillow and started sobbing

Close to the time that Henry took the turnover, Emma resolved that she couldn't stand by and let her son take the sleeping potion. She'd go to Emma, she would make her believe, she'd tell her everything. THey'd find a way to save everyone, HEnry didn't HAVE to be clinically dead.

Clara went to bed early and Emma took off, she raced through the woods to the apartment where she knew EMma would be meeting with her son. HEnry would be begging her not to believe Regina and Emma, in an effort to stop fighting and damaging Henry, would tell him things she didn't really believe in order to settle things with Regina.

So he would be safe.

But this didn't stop him from being safe, this created a whole new dangerous world for him.

Emma didn't even reach main street when she saw the colored blinking lights. She hid behind an alleyway and saw the crowd gathered, an ambulance was in front of the apartment.

Emma felt herself crumble to the ground as she knew that it was too late.

Getting back to the cabin felt like an eternity, Emma knew the curse would be broken. She knew her son would be saved but it hurt to know how it happened. She should've left sooner, she should've-

Emma came into the cabin. She jumped when she saw a figure on her couch. He was hunched over, his head in his hands. It took a moment for her to realize it was Jefferson.

"Where have you been?" Emma asked and took off her coat.

He stood up, he was shaking, Emma could see from his posture and the moon shining through the window that he'd been crying, "I'm so sorry, Emma."

"What? Wh-," He didn't look at her and somehow she knew. She KNEW. IT always bothered her, how did Regina get the apple? Magic wasn't powerful yet, most of the trinkets were gone, "What have you done?"

"Emma-."

"What did you do?!" She screamed at him and shoved him, "You're the one that gave her the apple?!"

"IT was supposed to go to you!"

She shoved him harder, "Was this to get back at me?! Did you put my son's life on the line to get back at what I did?"

"NO!" he pleaded, "I'm on your side."

"Oh really?!" she mocked, "That's surprising."

He fell to his knees and started sobbing, "Henry was supposed to be the one to kiss you and wake you up. You told me the two of you had true love! He was supposed to kiss you and wake you up. She was supposed to give me my daughter, she promised."

"You put my son on the chopping block on the word of a tyrannical sociopath?"

"YOu trust Rumple at the risk of all of us."

"I know him!" she screamed, "And you knew Regina! You knew what she'd do."

"I'm sorry," he whispered.

"No," she shook her head and went to move out the door, "I can't forgive this. You wouldn't forgive me about what I didn't tell you, I can't forgive you either."

"Emma?" Clara asked, "Please don't go."

"Emma!" Jefferson started as Emma walked out the door, "EMMA!"

The sun started to rise, Emma walked in the woods and finally circled back to the cabin. She sat there with her head in her hands until she heard a car pull up. RUmple got out, he had the position in his hands, "Big day."

Emma wiped her eyes.

He looked concerned, "What's happened."

"JEfferson and I revealed our true colors," Emma said and cleared her throat, "Do you have it?"

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the vial of true love.

"Nice. So true love is made of sparkly purple goo. Will I bleed that one day?"

"You'll have to tell me," he pocketed the vial, "Belle?"

"She's in there."

"JEfferson?"

"I don't know."

He frowned and went to hold out his hand. Emma took it and stood, "We still have work to do."

"Yeah," Emma whispered and went to open the door, "I'll get Clara dressed."

"Where are we going?" Clara asked. Rumplestiltskin walked ahead of them. Emma walked behind, ready to catch Clara if she stumbled or fell, this side of the woods was rough walking.

"To a place that'll help you."

Clara froze, "Not the hospital again!"

"No that," Emma urged her forward when she stopped, "Trust me, I would never take you back there."

"Where's JEfferson?"

"Your reliance on him will come to a stop soon, I imagine," Rumple muttered.

They walked a few more yards, a gust of wind brought Emma's hair up, she ignored it and pulled her jacket close, "Stupid weather…"

Clara stopped, "Wait…"

Emma noticed the change in stature, she noticed how Clara straightened. She noticed the change of tone in her voice, it wasn't as passive or scared anymore.

Rumplestiltskin was ahead of them, he didn't see the change, "No, no….we're very close. Just stick with Emma."

Belle blinked, "Rumpelstiltskin, wait."

He stopped, and he turned, his eyes were wide and full of the same love that EMma recognized when she'd looked at them so many times.

Belle stumbled forward, "I remember! I love you!"

His jaw quivered, and he pulled her into a tight embrace, "Yes! And I love you too!"

Emma looked away and tried to find a place to go so she didn't intrude on this moment, she felt invasive enough.

"Emma!" Belle called. Emma felt her resolve crumble and she was hugging her friend before she knew it.

"There'll be time for that," Rumple said and stroked Belle's hair back, "THere will be time for everything, but now we must do this."

Emma felt Belle link her arm in Emma's as they walked up the small distance to the well.

"What's this?"

Rumplestiltskin couldn't keep personal space, not that Belle seemed to mind, "This is a very special place, Belle. The waters that run below are said to have the power to return that which one has lost."

"He's going to bring magic back," Emma explained as Rumple uncapped the vial and let it drop in the waters below

"So we can leave and find Bae?" Belle asked.

"It's not that easy," Emme reminded her, of course Belle already knew everything, Emma told her those nights they spent in the dark castle.

"Besides," Rumple gave an awkward look to Emma as he went to Belle, "There's a lot we need to talk about."
