*Thank-you for the reviews on the last chapter they were greatly appreciated. Thank-you so much.
Tayla and Roman arrived home after picking up Tayla's prescription from the pharmacy after their appointment. They were both choosing to be optimistic about the entire situation. They were believing that the Clomid would work and soon they would be able to get pregnant and have a baby. They walked into their front door to see Tayla's mom playing with Jonah in the living room. "Hey, Mama," said Tayla with a smile as her mom was finishing up a game of peek-a-boo with Jonah.
"Hey, Honey," said Tianna with a smile as Jonah was laughing at her. Jonah had started to feel better a couple days after his trip to the hospital. He was back to his normal self almost. "How did the appointment go? Did you two find out what is going on?"
"Yeah," said Tayla as she took a seat on the couch as Roman stood behind her. "They said I don't ovulate because my body isn't producing enough hormones so they prescribed me Clomid to help me ovulate so when I start my period I'm supposed to start the Clomid on days 3, 4 or 5 and take it for 4 days. The doctor said that it is very possible I'll get pregnant but they said my uterus is abnormally shaped which is what is causing me to miscarry. They don't believe I'll ever have a successful pregnancy. He told us to look into adoption."
"Are you two going to look into adoption?" she asked.
"No," said Tayla, "we're not. We're trying this out and we're going to see what happens. If it doesn't happen after 6 cycles we'll take a break and then try again. I'm not giving up on trying for a baby. We really want a baby or babies."
"I have known women that have had abnormal shaped uteruses that had successful pregnancies. It's never impossible. Remember, Tayla, with God all things are possible."
"Mama, you know I'm not into the religious scene," said Tayla.
"Do you believe in God, Tayla?" she asked.
"Yes," said Tayla, "of course I believe in him. I just don't practice any type of religion or go to church. I know there is a God but I just don't feel like I need to go to church."
"Well, maybe you should," said her mom, "so if you believe in God just remember with God all things are possible so don't let anyone tell you it is impossible for you to have a baby."
"That's what I said," said Roman. "I told the doctor it isn't his call and he's not in charge because he's not. It's not his choice to make."
"Exactly," said Tianna with a smile. "Work with my daughter on her religion please."
"I don't know if I can," said Roman with a smile. "Tay has her own mind."
"I know," she said as she looked at Tayla, "but she knows deep down that it will happen one day."
"Oh I know it will happen one day," said Roman, "I don't doubt it at all. Even if the doctor says we have a 1 in 1000 chance of it happening."
"You two just need to try," she said as she stood up from the floor. "All right, I have a shift at the hospital tonight. Call me if you need anything and I'll talk to you both tomorrow."
"Okay," said Tayla, "bye, Mama."
"Bye, Sweetie," she said as Tayla stood to give her a hug before she left.
"Well, Mrs. Reigns," said Roman with a smile as he walked over to Tayla. "What is on the agenda for this afternoon since I'm off today."
"I don't know," said Tayla with a smile. "Anything. Jonah will be going down for a nap soon so we have some free time together."
"I love free time," he said with a smile before he kissed her lips as he sat down on the couch with her as Jonah played on the floor.
"Me too," she said with a smile of her own. "What if the doctor is right? What if we never have a successful pregnancy? What if it doesn't happen for us?"
"It will happen for us," he said. "And you know how I know it will happen for us?"
"How?" asked Tayla. "How do you know that?"
"Because I'm going to make it happen. We'll just have to do a lot of work. Are you up for a little extra work?"
"Always," she said with a smile, "a little extra work may not be a bad thing. Sometimes you really have to work to get what you want. I'm willing to work as hard as I need to," she said with a smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Me too," he said with a smile before he leaned in and kissed her lips. "A little hard work never hurt anyone."
"Exactly," she said with a smile before Roman pressed his lips against hers.
Things were starting to heat up before they were interrupted. "Mama, Mama," said Jonah. Tayla heard him but he didn't sound like he was across the room anymore. It was when she felt Jonah's tiny hand on her leg that made her open her eyes to see where he was. "Mama," he said again.
Tayla looked at him and pushed at Roman. "What?" he asked breaking their kiss.
"Look," she said pointing to Jonah who was right beside the couch. "He made his way over here by himself. Jonah, how did you get over here," she asked as she picked him up from the floor. "Did you crawl all the way over?" Jonah just looked at her and smiled. "You're so handsome," she said with a smile as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I love you." Jonah smiled at Tayla and clapped his hands. "Do you want to play patty cake?" she asked with a smile. She loved being with Jonah. She loved Jonah as if he were her own child. She had grown attached to him and the fact that he called her Mama wasn't helping the situation. Roman saw the attachment between the two and knew that there was going to be pain involved when the time came for Jordyn to get him back. This was just a couple months with them if they went two years like it seems like it could be they will grow closer and it will be even harder. He wasn't ready for those days. He loved seeing how happy Jonah made her. She deserved to be happy. "Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man. Bake me a cake as fast as you can," she sang to Jonah as they clapped their hands together. Roman joined in with them with a smile. "pat it," she sang as she hit her knees. "Roll it," she said rolling her hands, "mark it with J. Put it in the oven for Jonah and me!" she said with a smile before she tickled him and his laughter filled the room. Roman joined in tickling him. Jonah was so adorable and he always had the biggest smile on his face much like Jordyn did when she was little, he was always happy. He put the laughter and joy back into their lives after all the troubles they experienced in the last year. He was definitely the rainbow to their storm. They both loved him a lot and Roman knew not only would it be hard for Tayla when the time came for him to go back with Jordyn; it would be just as hard for him. He didn't want to think about it because right now they were having a tickle war on the living room couch listening to his little laughs and squeals and they were having fun till it was time for Jonah's nap time.
Once Tayla had Jonah down for his nap in his crib she and Roman went downstairs to Roman's gym to work out together. "Is he asleep?" he asked as Tayla walked into the gym with the baby monitor.
"Yeah," she said with a smile as she walked over to where Roman was. "What are you working on today?"
"Cardio," he said. "You?" He asked looking at his wife in her black sports bra and black booty shorts with her hair pulled up into a messy bun exposing the fading hickey on her neck he gave her a few days earlier. She was too hot for words.
"I'm doing my chest, shoulders and triceps today," she said, "I did cardio yesterday."
"Good," he said with a smile. "I love a girl that isn't afraid to work out in the gym lifting a little weights. I mean I love when a girl is all about fashion and being beautiful but there is just something about a girl that likes to work out in the gym. You're probably my hottest workout partner."
"Are you saying Dean and Seth are hot?" she asked with a smile as she got down into a plank.
"No I'm not saying that. I don't know what I'm saying," he said as he got down in a plank with her. They were looking at each other face to face as they were in their plank. She laughed at him and shook her head. "Shut up, Tay," he said with a smile. "You do know that when I plant that seed you're not going to have your toned abs anymore right?"
"I know," she said with a smile, "and I'm okay with that but nothing wrong with keeping in shape while I'm not pregnant."
"Yeah," he said. "So what has you so interested in the gym lately anyway?" he asked before they lowered their planks to the floor.
"Nothing," she said as they took a few seconds to rest before pushing into a plank again. "I just like spending time with my husband and if I have to work out to do it then I will. Don't you like me being interested in the gym?"
"I just told you I love a girl that likes to work out and lift weights. I was just wondering what your interest was all of a sudden. Before you could have cared less but lately you've become quite the fitness queen."
"I don't know," she said as they held their planks. "I guess I just like it. It's fun and it helps me get out some frustration."
"There are other ways we can work out that frustration," he said with a smile. "And the way you're wearing that workout gear is making me want to work some frustration out with you right now."
Tayla laughed and said, "shut up, Ro. Do you like wrestling?"
"I love it. You know I do, Tay," he said as they lowered their planks to the floor again. "It all comes so naturally for me," he said before they push up into their planks again. "The ring is like my home."
"I see," she said, "how did you know you wanted to do it?"
"I don't know," he said, "I think I always really wanted to do it since I was little. I think I just didn't realize it until after football fell through. I just think it was the road that I was meant to take. I mean if you think about how football turned out and where I ended up. It just took a while for me to get there. It's just people always assume that just because I'm Samoan; well part Samoan, and that half of my family are wrestlers that I'm going to do the same. I think I wanted to go against the norm but in the end I ended up where I was always meant to be. I come from a long line of great wrestlers; my uncle, pops, Peter Maivia, Umaga, Rikishi and The Rock. It's in my blood. I just love to get in that ring and let loose. It's an amazing feeling."
"I see," she said as they lower their planks again before pushing up one last time. "I'm sure you're going to be just as great as the family members that came before you. I know I plan to be front row for all of your shows in Florida when you make it to the WWE just like I am for your shows now. You're amazing a lot of talent."
"Thanks, Babe," he said with a smile. "I need to come up with a finishing move though. I don't' know what to do. I do that punch thing that can put people away but I need something else; nothing that involves climbing the rope. I don't like doing high flying stunts."
"Why don't you spear people?" she asked. "I've seen you spear people before and it looks painful. Make that a finisher."
"I like it," he said with a smile.
"What if I wanted to get into wrestling?" she asked as they dropped their planks down to the floor.
"Do you want to?" he asked as they sat up.
"I'm thinking about it," she said. "Would you be upset?"
"No why would I be upset? I think it would be amazing to have my wife wrestling with me. We could travel together and be together. Do you want to get into it?"
"I'm not sure yet. I'm really thinking about it. I watch the females wrestle at your shows all the time and they are pretty awesome. I want to do it too. Do you think you could show me a few things in the ring?"
"I can work with you and so can pops. Pops would probably be the best person to go to. If you really want to do it I'll talk to him for you."
"Can I think about it a little before I make my decision?"
"Absolutely," he said with a smile. "I hope that you do get into the wrestling scene. I think you would be good at it."
"Thanks," she said as the doorbell rang. "I'll get that," she said before she kissed his lips before she got up to answer the door. When she opened the front door she was surprised to see Jordyn standing on the porch. "What are you doing here? You have a lot of nerve coming here."
"I came to talk to you," she said.
"No goodbye, Jordyn. I don't' want to talk to you right now and after what you did to Roman I really don't think it's a good idea for us to talk right now. I'm still pissed at you."
"Tay, I'm sorry about the other day. I wasn't in the right mind set. I was craving drugs and I couldn't have them. I get a little out of line when that happens. It's tough for me. I wish you could understand."
"It's not even that," said Tayla, "you kissed MY husband and then you tried to have sex with him. Then you have the audacity to show up at MY house to try and apologize. I don't think so, Jordyn. You have no right to be here and you need to leave."
"Tayla, I told you I was sorry. I wasn't in the right mindset. I'm sorry. It won't happen again."
"You're damn right it won't happen again because if you EVER touch my husband again or try to be inappropriate with my husband again I will not hesitate to kick your ass. He is MY husband; MY man, don't touch him again. Are we clear on that? I don't like you, Jordyn. I am here helping you out and you thank me by coming to the hospital causing a scene making comments about how I'm not a mother and how I'll never be a mother and calling me a barren bitch. Then I come to find out that you kissed MY husband and then tried to have sex with him. You crossed the line, Jordyn. What would Chelsea say if she found out? What about your parents? I'm sure they wouldn't be happy. Worry about fixing yourself and worry less about my husband. I don't care if you're 16 or not touch MY husband again we're going to have bigger issues. If you want to play a big girl's game then you're going to be treated like a big girl and learn it's not okay to mess with a married man. Are we clear?"
"Yes," she said, "we're clear."
"Good," said Tayla. "but this doesn't make us friends. I don't' trust you."
"Okay," she said, "can I still see Jonah on his birthday?"
"Jordyn, that's not a good idea after everything that has happened it's not a good idea. You can spend time with him after his party but you're not invited to his party. My family and Roman's family will be here. I can't trust that you're not going to cut up."
"Tayla, it was one time."
"It still happened and I don't want you in my house either. From now on visits will be at the park or in a public place. You're not welcome here, Jordyn. Now have a nice day," said Tayla before she shut the door in her face before going back down to the gym with Roman. "I'm back," she said as she saw Roman on the treadmill running.
"Who was it, Babe," he asked as Tayla walked over to pick up some dumb bells to lift.
"Jordyn and I told her she's not welcome here anymore and I mean it. I don't' want her here ever again. Any visits in the future will be done in a public place. I don't want any issues and I don't want that type of trash in my house. Got it?"
"I understand," he said as he continued to run as Tayla lifted weights till Jonah woke up from his nap.
*A/N: At least Tayla and Roman are being optimistic about the whole fertility issue. They aren't giving up is that a good thing? Should TAyla get her religion practicing in check? How much pain do you think is going to occur when Jonah has to go home to JOrdyn if he ever does? Roman and Tayla seem to be really close to him him. Is that a good thing? Should Tayla get involved in wrestling? And was Tayla right for banning Jordyn from her house as well as JOnah's party? Can she trust Jordyn? Also what do you think about Jordyn blaming it on the craving for drugs for her actions? Please review and thank-you for reading.
*Just so you all know I am already working on the new Roman and TAyla story that I am doing. : ) I can't wait to write it for you guys but it has to wait till after this story is done.
