Rizzoli & Isles - 48 days

Hi - not mine - love

It was one of the rare occasions where Maura had been called in during the night and Jane was left to her own devices. As she couldn't get back to sleep she used the time to examine Maura's home office more closely, looking at the collection of books she kept in there. Pulling out a book of poems, Jane sits at her desk and flips through it.
The book stirred something in Jane that she hadn't experienced in a long time the urge to write:-

100 days he gave me
100 days to know
100 days to think about
How my life could go

I told you of his question
I said I didn't know
You gave me more to think about of
How my life could go

But in the end I didn't need
100 days to know
It's you I want to be with for
However my life may go

Maura returned a couple of hours later to find Jane asleep on the couch with the book of poems laying open on her chest.

A/N This little ditty came to me at 3.30 this morning, I made a quick note on my phone before going back to sleep. I hope you like it.
